Importing directory contents locally?

Hi
I'm wondering if someone can point me to any resources that will help me learn how to do the following (I'm using Flash CS5 and Air).
- import the contents of a particular local dir into variables
or
- import the contents of a particular local dir into a datagrid
then
allow these filenames to be dragged into cells in another data grid (alternatively, into input text fields), so that the data can then be placed into more variables.
Thanks for your leads.
Shaun

I would like to list a directory contents. I got this code from a website:>The web is a big place. Care to narrow that down with an URL to this website?

Path dir = ...;
DirectoryStream<Path> stream = null;
try {
stream = dir.newDirectoryStream();
for (Path file: stream) {
System.out.println(file.getName());
} catch (IOException x) {
//IOException can never be thrown by the iteration.
//In this snippet, it can only be thrown by newDirectoryStream.
System.err.println(x);
} finally {
if (stream != null) stream.close();

When I put it in NetBeans it doesn't find the class Path.
Where is it defined?>You might try looking further around that 'website' you mentioned. But short of you supplying an URL, how on earth would you expect us to know?

  • Error when using Channel Migration Tool in SAP Directory Content Migration Tool

    Hi Experts,
    I'm trying to migrate a file receiver channel using the Channel Migration Tool in SAP Directory Content Migration Tool.
    I enter the channel name and then select it or click in "Edit"; I get the bellow error:

    Hi,
    Go to NWA>Configuration>Infrastructure>Java System Properties, Click on the Applications tab and search tc~pi~tools~dirmig~wd & Start Application as shown in below screenshot.
    I am not sure but you can try this if it helps.

  • Show serverside directory contents in applet

    Hello,
    On my website I want an applet which shows the files which are in the same directory as where the class file is.
    So it shows serverside directory contents of where my website is located.
    The most topics here about listfiles are all about listing files on a local machine with policy files. I want my applet to listfiles from the server.
    Does anyone know how to achive this?
    thanks in advance

    Andy,
    How would you do a similar thing as you have coded below, but instead of an Applet have the Directory names populate a drop down menu on a JSP and then when a Directory is selected, have the files in the Directory appear as HTML links on the screen?
    Teresa
    i have achieved this before and i had to use a
    servlet.
    here is the servlet code i used:
    // this servlet returns the files names that are in
    the Departments directory
    public class GetFilesServlet extends HttpServlet {
    public void init() {  }
    public void doPost(HttpServletRequest request,
    , HttpServletResponse response)
    throws ServletException, IOException
    doGet(request, response);
    // gets information from the server and sends it
    t back to the applet
    public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request,
    , HttpServletResponse response)
    throws ServletException, IOException
    // stores the names of all the files in a vector
    try

  • Error when import BI content 3.5.3

    Hi All
    I have error when import BI content 3.5.3 step at Tcode 'SAINT' (file SAPKIBIFIH.car) for mySAP ERP 2004 (ECC 5.0 IDES).
    The error occur in step 3/5 after enter SAINT:Passw request.
    System shown information "<b>Queue SAPKLTHQ10 has not yet been confirmed</b>".
    In step 4/5 sytem shown statue/remarks "<b>The Add-on installation terminated during phase PROLOGUE</b>".
    I think about installation THAI font package at Tcode "SMLT" uncompleted.
    I run report <b>"RSCPINST"</b> at Tcode "SE38" for editing codepage after that the system shown error message "<b>MDMP is not supported foe SAP Business Information Warehouse. Message no.RIN010"</b> Please see sap note 563975.
    <b>Note:</b> When  i import Thai font package "SAPKLTHQ10" using Tcode "SMLT" the system shown error message "TL1277" in define schedule job step.
    Message no. TL137
    Diagnosis
    You want to start the post-import methods for special texts (calendar texts, terminology, and glossary) for language Thai.
    Before this can happen, the system checks whether this server is prepared for this language. The system also checks whether the language environment can be switched dynamically on this server (see ABAP command SET LOCAL LANGUAGE).
    System response
    The system established that the language environment cannot be switched to language Thai.
    The language transport is stopped at this point.
    Procedure
    The switch of the language environment may fail for the following reasons:
    1. The database codepage is not up-to-date.
    2. The codepage information for language Thai is not up-to-date.
    3. Locales for language Thai do not exist, or are invalid, at the operating system level.
    4. The profile parameter zcsa/installed_languages has to be adjusted.
    If an error occurs, proceed as follows:
    1. Find out the name of the server on which the language import job ran. Log on to this server.
    2. Check the language configuration using report RSCPINST. Solve the reported problem there.
    If your system consists of multiple application servers and not all of them have authorization for language Thai, continue the language import on a server that has authorization for language Thai.
    plaese help me to solve this problem.
    thank a lot for all solutions.
    Mooping.

    This is a long story that you write, but your problem seems just that you must "Confirm the queue". Is that correct?
    Without this step no further Support Packages can be inserted into the system. Confirming the queue is done by one of the buttons in the SPAM transaction. Just put the mouse on the buttons and read the quick help to differentiate between the buttons.
    I have never had a problem like this but I think it can happen if, together with the new BI version you also include one or more support packs. This happens automatically if these packages are available, so you may not even have noticed it.

  • ITunes 10 Plays No Content Locally After Emergency Disk Migration

    All:
    I have an MBP (Late-2008) running OSX 10.6.6 with iTunes 10.1.1(4). Recently, a low disk space condition on my external FireWire drive holding my iTunes library clued me in to an impending disk failure of that drive. I purchased a new drive, and used CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) to clone the disk while still operable, which was successful, to a drive of the *same exact* name.
    iTunes now finds all my content, which syncs & plays on my new iPad and older iTouch flawlessly, however it refuses to play any content locally, whether purchased from the iTunes Store, old CD's I imported a long time ago, podcasts, movies, or imported video MP4 content. Clicking Play shows nothing / no error messages, and double-clicking the files directly on the new disk results in being redirected to iTunes, but no content plays.
    So far, I've tried de-authorizing / re-authorizing my MBP, but that doesn't explain why imported content doesn't play.
    Following the instructions to re-build my iTunes Library results in a not useful library that had no content.

    Odd ... that BEX error citing the QuickTimePlayer.dll (like the DEP errors and the unknown module for the iTunes errors) also suggests old, misplaced QuickTime componentry. But the lack of any QuickTime Player launch errors, or at least relentless "software out of date" messages, speaks against that possibility.
    ... I think we'd better check for old, misplaced QuickTime componentry anyway, just in case. (The symptom-set for that sort of trouble is in a constant state of flux anyway, so the lack of launch errors probably can't be taken as conclusively speaking against it.)
    First we'll need to adjust some view settings on the PC.
    1. From the Start menu, click Open.
    2. In the Organize menu, click Folder and Search Options.
    3. Click the View tab.
    4. In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected, and the "Hide extensions for known file types" option is unchecked.
    5. Click OK.
    Now we'll go looking for old QuickTime stuff in the most likely locations for it to show up.
    In Computer, open your C drive (or whichever drive your operating system is installed on).
    Open the "Windows" folder.
    *If you have a 32-bit version of Windows,* open the "System32" folder.
    *If you have a 64-bit version of Windows,* open the "SysWOW64" folder.
    What files or folders with QuickTime in the file or folder name can you see in there? (In a standard installation of QuickTime, you should see precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.

    Another thought about this :
    It's the deserialization that fails saying that the <DisplayName> child of <response> is not defined in the schema. Shouldn't we read  that as follows : the response received indeed does include a tag named <DisplayName>, but there is no way of mapping this to the class structure of the generated proxy so that this value can be used to rehydrate an instance of that class with it.
    Now, if we look at the WSDL file for the UME Web Service we find this for the GetUser0 method's response message :
    - <wsdl:message name="getUserResponse">
      <wsdl:part name="response" type="tns0:IUserInfo" />
      </wsdl:message>
    The response is of type IUserInfo. This  type is defined in the WSDL file as outlined below :
    - <complexType name="IUserInfo">
    - <sequence>
    <b>  <element name="DisplayName" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" /></b>   <element name="Locale" nillable="true" type="tns1:Locale" />
      <element name="Title" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" />
      <element name="Groups" nillable="true" type="intf:ArrayOf_xsd_string" />
      <element name="UniqueName" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" />
      <element name="Roles" nillable="true" type="intf:ArrayOf_xsd_string" />
      <element name="Email" nillable="true" type="intf:ArrayOf_xsd_string" />
      <element name="UniqueId" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" />
      <element name="FirstName" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" />
      <element name="LastName" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" />
      <element name="Company" nillable="true" type="xsd:string" />
      </sequence>
      </complexType>
    The WSDL definition for IUserInfo clearly does have this elment.
    Another thing : I'm using the exact same web service from a .Net web service client. The proxies generated with the Visual Studio .Net tools do not throw this error. Which raises the question : is it indeed a WSDL problem or is there a bug in the proxy generation in NW DS ?

    Hi,
    iMovie stopped importing HD content from Sony HDR-SR11 camcorder. It only recognizes the standard definition content in the preview thumbnails. Previously this used to work with both a FireWire cable and a Mini USB. All of a sudden it doesn't import HD clips. There's no plugin failure either, because I reinstalled iMovie '09.

    With this camera you must erase the SD clips from the camera before you can import the HD clips.

  • Download content locally when needed by running task sequence functionality with Windows PE.

    I am trying to understand what happens when the "Download content locally when needed by running task sequence" option in chosen on a task sequence deployment. My assumption is that any needed packages would not be identified
    and downloaded until task sequence is kicked off.
    Using task sequence boot media, it looks likes a package has been obtained before any task sequence has been selected. I am assuming the package was acquired during the WinPE boot process. Can anyone confirm that this is
    the correct behavior when using the "Download content locally when needed by running task sequence" option? If not, how would WinPE be obtaining the PS100292 SCCM package?
    This specific package contains and HTA file. Only one of  several task sequences deployed to the All Unknown Computers make a call to the HTA file. The one that does, the HTA call is the very first step of the task sequence.

    Hi everyone! I figured what was going on here. I was using an ESX VM and the package was stored on the c:\ from previous attempts and troubleshooting. Long story short, I had to rip the HDD from the VM and add a new one to set every thing back.

    I'm looking for information on posible restrictions to import ARIS content to Solution Manager.
    Have anyone been through this and could share what challenges we could expect?
    I found a document called "IMPORTING ARIS FOR NETWEAVER CONTENT INTO SOLUTION MANAGER" from Sukumar Natarajan but it just explain its steps.
    Thanks a lot,

    Hello Renato,
    To Import ARIS to Solman, you need have an install in solution manager, have a project created on tx solar_project_admin, have the ARIS Business Architect ready and follow the simple steps mentioned in the document you talked about.
    Please reply for any other doubt,
    Cheers,

  • CDIR  is a DDIC structure  used in the IMPORT  DIRECTORY

    CDIR  is a DDIC structure  used in the IMPORT  DIRECTORY statement—my question is is it usqable for all cluster databases we make indeoendently apart from INDX or just for INDX

    I have no real details, but based on your question I am guessing Thunderbird does not check the drive letter only the path. so H:\Stuff and G:\Stuff would be the same thing. Try a change to the actual folder names.

  • Import Of Content Areas Muddles up Content

    We are in the process of exporting our portal applications,components, content areas and pages from our development server to the live environment.
    We are using the contexp.cmd for export and contimp.cmd for the import of the content areas but after it has been imported the contents areas are all jumbled up. We have ran the process several times and used 2 different live servers but each time the content areas come across and the majority of contents are jumbled. Each time we have ran the same process we get different results.
    Has any one experienced this or has any idea how to prevent it from happening.
