ImsManifest.xml not populating correctly in Captivate 6

Captivate 6 does not populate the imsmanifest.xml correctly. It does not include the title and the description entered from the Configure section of the Quiz Reporting preferences. As a result the missing data isn't reported to our SumTotal LMS.
The information is in the Captivate 5 manifest and is reported to the LMS.
I submitted a bug report, but I wish I had checked with this forum first.
Does anyone have a solution, other than entering the data into the manifest manually?

Your welcome, if that is the case, then can you try and insert the MultiSlide Video, you can insert the streaming video URL.
You can add the server to you computer as network Drive and then browser to that location, once you do that, the options to add the Video as Streaming can be chose and your Vidoe would remain insync with main playbar, users can play and pause content that way.
See if this can be implemented at your end.

Net value in the Invoice not populated correctly

Hi friends,
The net value in the Invoice is not populated correctly. The sales order unit price is say 100/EA and the qty is 10 and the net value is 1000 Rs. THe invoice is also showing up the unit price and qty similar to the sales order but the net value picked is 500Rs. There are no discount conditions as well. What might be the possible reasons for this?

Hi,
Check whether you have entered th value manually in the sales order and overwritten the condition record value .If so also check you copy control setting in VTFL that pricing type B is maintained at item level for the respective doc type .
It can happen that you have condition record maintained for 50rs per quantity and you have changed price manually in sales order to 100 per qty. Now if in copy control VTFL pricing type B is maintained than system will redetermine the prices at the billing level.
If this is the case than change the settings in VTFL pricing type at item level to D

Files Are Not Transferring Correctly from Captivate 4 to 5

My files from Captivate 4 are not transferring correctly into Captivate 5. The images and quiz questions are not in the same place. Help!

This is a bug.
We all have it.
Keep CP4 for the old courses, and develop new ones in CP5. That is what I am doing.
Alternative is to manually adjust everything (don't even get me started on rollovers...)

CopyDeliverToOrgId is not populated correctly when checkout PR in iPro

When we check out the Requisition in iProcurement, the system shows error for the Deliver-To Location, the error is 'Select a Valid Value'. After we click on the LOV and select the same value as in the Deliver-To Location field , the error gone.
Setp.
1. Select item and add to cart
2. Click View Cart and Check Out
3. Click Checkout
4. Click Next (at this point the Deliver-To Location values is PWH-MB-03-TA)
5. Error out 'Select a Valid Value'
6. Click LOV and select PWH-MB-03-TA from the LOV
7. Clikc Next again
8. Success
Do anyone knows why I have to reselect the value every time I check the requisition
One of the metalink note mention that the variable copyDeliverToOrgId is not populated correctly.

Is any personalization already exists , some like it will be based on OU with certain location ..
In my case , it was to enter correct Deliver to location was based on requestor -location combination based on OU.
otherwise check for Profile 'POR : Preferences - Deliver to Location' in system admin ,
select * from fnd_profile_options_tl
where profile_option_name = 'POR_DEFAULT_DELIVER_TO_LOCATION_ID'
and language='US'

Why is repeated events not populating correctly?

I am trying to set up a repeating event at icloud.com and it is not populating correctly. I set up a custom repeating event to repeat every two weeks on certain days and it shows up every week regardless that I selected repeat every "2" weeks"

Discount Value - 0RPA_REA Not Populating Correctly in Multiprovider ZXX_XX01,
As you aware discount value (0RPA_REA) has Positive values correspond to a reduced sales value. Negative values correspond to a markup on the sales value.
Item discounts are already taken into account in the sales value. Discounts at POS transaction level (header discounts) are only taken into account at the point of processing.
This key figure is supplied by the Data Sources 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL and 0RT_PA_TRAN_TOTALS and is filled by PIPE field REDUCTIONAMOUNT.
Can some one let me know how to achieve the correct discount type from POSDM?

Hi Ramesh,
As Vikrant mentioned the discount values are shown against record qualifier 1101 in 2 instances in your snapshot.Please check the receipt/MON0 and compare the discount values.
Alternately pick anyother transaction which has maximum no of discounts and compare in RSA7.
You may also Import/Export this transaction and verify in any other environment(DEV/TEST) etc to see the results are matching.If not matching, then possibly,some of the config TRs may be missing in PROD.

Issue with Bex report - key Figures not populating correctly.

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue with a Bex report. There are three key figures of data type DATE having "Dec - Counter or amount field with comma and sign" datatype. After executing the query, in the report, for some sales documents the key figure fields are coming as 'X' and rest others are coming correctly in the date format as mm\dd\yyyy.
When i check in the cube, these key figures shows values in decimal format and not in date format. The conversion is happening during execution.
Pleas show me some light on how to identify the cause of getting 'X' for some Sales documents in the report eventhough some are coming correctly.

Hi,
The infobject has been defined with datatype "DATE" only. It has also been mapped from datasource to infocube correctly as these key figures are populating correctly for some of the sales documents in the report. It is not like that for all the sales documents the key figures are not converting properly.
Some Sales documents are not converting into the date fields but for some conversion happens properly in the BEx report. This is the issue.
Please guide accordingly.

FLV videos not playing correctly in Captivate 6

I am running into an issue where my FLV video is not playing correctly when my Captivate project is exported out and saved to the web. The FLV video is about 20 mins long (~100 MB) and it is being streamed from Kaltura. The FLV video is inputted into the Captivate project as a multi-slide synchronized video across 27 slides. The slides themselves are imported from Powerpoint. The problem that we are running into is that the Captivate project and the FLV video play correctly when viewed with decent bandwidth, but they do not appear to play correctly for users with slower bandwidth. However, if a user views the videos independently of Captivate, they can view the videos correctly, even at slower bandwidth. I have tried hosting the Captivate files on several different webservers, including an LMS. But the issue continues and I'm searching for any type of answers that might help.

Tabular form LOV's not populating correctly on edit from report

My form has four LOV's and several text fields. Two of the LOV's will not populate (contains null value) from the report when i try to edit the row, however the other two Lov's populate correctly. Any ideas why i can't get the lov's to populate with the correct value from the report?
each LOV is set to display null value as -- choose value -- with no return value. when i click edit from the report the form (page 2) comes up with the corresponding values from the report, but as i stated two of the LOV's contain -- choose value -- instead of the correct value from the corresponding reports row. All four LOV's items are set exactly the same 2 being static and 2 dynamic; one of each not populating right.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've not used popup lovs in tabular forms for a few years now, but if your using the apex_item's to generate your tab form then I think you need to allow an idx number for the pass back value. e.g. (I have left idx value 2 for the pass back value)

XML not displaying correctly when larger

When my XML dataset exceeds 2350 lines, SpryDOMUtils.js seems to ad a <tab> to the XML string and it's not displayed correctly in it's container.

May I suggest that you copy and paste the markup into a new document to then start adding your own stuff, making sure that you test in IE7 or IE8 at each step.
Note that I have left xpath.js out of the markup. I think it will work either way. Just keep an eye on it.

I did reformat the XML to delete all of the empty lines. Not sure if this helped or not. You can do this within DW as follows

Animation effects not playing correctly in captivate 6 (playing last frame first?)

Currently in captivate 6 I have a problem where when an item is coming in using an animation effect the image is flashing up very breifly, dissapearing then playing the animation as it should. it is almost as if it is playing the last split second first then looping round. This only applies to some of the items and not all of them, I have tried redoing them only for the same problem to occur. There is only 1 entrance effect playing on each item and there are 4 items on screen, the second and third images are the ones causing problems although the text and fitst image is fine. I have tried toggling sync with project. This also occurs both in publish and in preview
Any other ideas?

All of the items in question are set to display for the rest of the slide and the effect lasts less then a second where each item is on screen for 10+ seconds so there is plenty of the for the entrance effect to play out.
I have noticed however if I set all of the items with effects to start on the start of the slide the effect plays correctly but that means it isnt synced to the voiceover.

Swf not working correctly in Captivate 2

I have built a drag and drop program in flash 8 using very
simple actionscripts.
The app is bug free and works fine with any browser.
When i import the app into Cap, the drag function works and
the drop function works but the disapear function does not.

(First time poster too!)
I've got the same problem and no amount of anything I've
tried has worked.
However, there is a work around - bit of a pain but it
works...
Publish your fla to Flash Player 6 and then insert you swf
into Captivate 1 (one). Save it then open Captivate 2 (two) and
open the previous saved Cap1 file - accept all the dire warnings
about overwriting etc and it works. Not tried inserting Cap1 files
in the middle of a Cap2 movie yet but I'm sure it can be made to
work.
Adobe - please tell us there's a fix coming out for
this...

XML not seen correctly in browser

My archives xml in browser of the QAS server are seen thus: 002b6e60-5235-2910-069a-aa6eb62c02b8.xml
But in the server source DEV does not happen the same, is seen correctly.
This it happened after passing this file using the WebDav.
I wait for a quick aid.

Are you saying the XML file has become corrupt after you downloaded it over WebDav ?
Rather than opening it in a browser, open it in notepad / Textpad and see if the file has been truncated.

HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_Fxx GLOBAL ARRAYS ARE NOT POPULATING CORRECTLY IN IRR

Scenario1:
Unsorted data
I have an interactive report with first column as checkbox and 4 editable fields. When I enter an editable field there is a javascript called on this field to make the checkbox in the first column checked. This is working fine.
Scenario 2:
Sorted on a column:
I sort the data on part number and when I go and change one of the editable field the checkbox gets checked which is correct. But when I save HTMLDB_APPLICATION.gxx variable seems to be messed up when IRR is sorted and doesnt save any values.
Any body faced a similar issue.

What I am doing here is that I am populating rownum into the checkbox column in the query and also created rownum in a,b,c,d as hidden items which stores rownum.
My case will be
1 checkbox value (1) a(1) b(1) c(1) d(1)
2 checkbox value (2) a(2) b(2) c(2) d(2)
When I edit a I go an check checkbox in row 2 as checked in the checkbox so my new data is
1 checkbox value (1) a(1) b(1) c(1) d(1)
2 checkbox value (2) checked a(2) b(2) c(2) d(2)
3 ....
4 ...
Now the problem]
When I loop thru checkbox array using g_f01 I get count 1 as expected and when I refer to the rownum value stored in the checkbox array it is storing wrong rownum value in other words the value in this case should be 2 but it has some wierded rownum 4 or 5 which is reffering to someother row.
This happens only when I sort the INTERACTVE REPORT.

Flash not playing correctly in Captivate

I have Captivate 4 and Flash CS4. I have created a Flash .swf in Actionscript 3.0 that has several interactions. I have placed stop(); in Frame one, Frame 5, and Frame 10 and then depending on the interaction I have gotoAndPlay (5) or gotoAndPlay(10).
The resulting .swf works properly in Flash Player, but when I place the .swf into Captivate it ignores the stops in the actionscript on Frames 1 and 5 and goes directly to Frame 10.
I don't have any idea how to make it play correctly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
