In a small media lab we have approximately 10 iPads on order. We'd like to purchase iMovie for all of the iPads. Best way to do this?
Do we need to specifically create 10 separate iTunes user Apple IDs?
Can we use 1 ID and share the app for multiple users/ iPads?
Or do we use 1 ID and buy the app separately on all 10 iPads?
I want to do this correctly and as recommended. Thank you!

I need some help resizing my images on PS6. I am using a mac and have been trying to resize with same resolution and constaining proportions but for some reaseon the smaller resized image appears pizelated. Heres an image of before and after. The first image I use is a JPG 72dpi 1500px x1500px and I want to downsize it to 600x600px same res, but it keeps pixelating, this has never happened before. Any suggestions, thoughts?

I have Acrobat 9 on a PC I no longer use. I want to download and re-install on a different PC. What is the best way to do this?

Could you please specify whether you have Acrobat 9 Pro or Standard version.
You need to deactivate Acrobat from the old machine and then install on the new one from a CD/DVD and then activate with the same serial key.
If you do not have installation media, then you can download the Pro version from the below mentioned link:

Please note that you can activate the software on maximum two computers. For example: Your desktop at work and laptop at home

I recently did a system update and installed Yosemite on my Mac. Now I am unable to open CS5 at all. The error message I get is this: "To open Adobe Photoshop CS5.1, you need to install legacy Java SE 6 runtime." I have tried downloading this and it still gives me the same mess
In the details it is mentioned that it is an outdated version of Java.
Is this a security risk that i need to live with to get CS5 to run with Yosemite?
Also i need to reject messages from Java in the future about updates, or not?

I have 2 accounts in my family and would like to purchase some of the same songs for both accounts, however when I try to purchase a duplicate song from the second account the song says play instead of purchase. How can I get some of the same songs?

I have spent a lot of time saving, organizing and arranging photos (for the last 7 years) on my PC, and would like to know the best way to transfer these, AND MAINTAIN THE ORGANIZATION OF THE FOLDERS, to my new ipad (and later, my iphone). I have a really good system, and I do not want to have to do it all over again, on the ipad. I DO NOT want to subscribe to another monthly service fee (i.e. the iCloud) but DO have iTunes on my PC.
What is the simplest method to do this ? I have tried synching, but, each time have lost photos (on my ipad) OR have had NO ORGANIZATION AT ALL to the photos once synced. I have all these photos (5.6gb) in the My Pictures folder, then subdivided into years, then subdivided into events and months within the years. So, my transfer of the My Picures folder, completely transfers all of them, but with NO further organization. Again, I have spent years doing this, and don't want to have to re-invent the wheel.
Can someone advise (or even better, lead me to a youtube video) that accurately shows the best way to do this ?

And, wish Apple would explain "how it works" regarding the syncing methods on the Operating System. It is the only thing I "don't get" about using my iPad..... meanwhile I LOVE my new mini ! ! ! ! ! ! ! thanks Apple, for keeping things simple.... Please don't change that !Correct, it will only be one-level, the Photos app doesn't support sub-albums - the sub-folders photos will be included in the parent's album.
If you select My Pictures at the top of the Photos tab when syncing, then you should get an album for each folder that is directly under it - so if I understand correctly what you described then that would mean an album for 2013, one for 2012 etc. And each of those should include all the photos in the subfolders under it - so 2013 would include the photos from the events and months subfolders under it.
You can't sync them separately, only the contents of the last sync remains on the iPad, by not including a folder in the next photo sync you are effectively telling iTunes that you no longer want that folder/album on the iPad so it will be removed and be replaced by the contents of the new sync (you can't delete synced photos directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next sync).
The app that I use, Photo Manager Pro, allows you to select and copy a folder (via FTP), but you would need to select each subfolder individually, which if you have a lot would be time-consuming (I think that if you select '2013' it would ignore the folders beneath it). -

What happens when you change your address in your iTunes account? You also have to have a payment method associated with the USA, For example gift cards are restricted to the country of their purchase.

I cannot get itunes to work/install on myPC. I am running windows 8 in a 64 bit machine. I also want to purchase books via itunes for my Nook. Are you deliberately excluding PC owners so we cannot use ituens on our computers???? I have selected a community but have no idea what community I should be working with. Can somone explai these communities to me? Also. you don't allow much time to go thru the sign up process. I had to start over SEVERAL times as you kept timing me out. Jesus...when people are signing up for the first time, we have no idea of the questions that will be asked. Give us a break and give us time to sign up. Not everone is disability free and able to go thru your process quickly...you are NOT user friendly. You should be for people who are wanting to join your community. There is a world of information in these forums if you use the search function near the top right of this page. Just type in NAS for example and you get many threads on the subject (marked with a green checkmark if it solved the question) another example would be Airport Exterme and sound system. Once you formulate your ideas better then specific questions can be addressed one at a time. You may find that a less expensive choice for a server might be a mac mini. Good luck with your project, ask more specific questions and update you systems profile.

Hi, I have backed up 2 IMACs and one Mac Book Pro but for some reason, the 3rd IMAC come up with this problem: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/Anthony’s iMac.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1). Why? The computer system is up to date and I have had no issue with the other computers, just this one.

I use a slightly different way than Alchroma.
Same
• One video on track 1 and the other on Video.track 2
• Resize to 25% and move one to the left and the other to the right
Diff
• I don't use the blade tool
• I use the Pen tool and change the transparency - then I get fast or slow transitions in same stroke and easy to fine-tune later if needed. (But this can be done with the Roll-tool if Blade is used - so it might be as easy)
Final
• Resize to 100% and Center
Video is done
Audio - very close to this by changing the level so that best audio will dominate
• Pen tool here too
But that's me - the Alchroma way is as good as this or may be better for some

Screen still ON when sleeping?!?
This is the first time this has happened to me. If I leave my Powerbook for a few minutes (adjustable time) the screen will dim (or put itself to sleep). The screen is actually STILL ON and if I look really closely, I can still make out the desktop.
