You can't watch HBO using the Safari browser on the iPad at all. HBO has an app in the App Store called HBO GO. You must subscribe to HBO in order to use it

We just bought a new itouch and it requires that he enter a password before he can open his speaking program. He is intellectually challenged and this additional step (having to think of that 4 digit code) is distracting him from what he wanted to communicate. I want to remove this password screen as a transition to function. Can anyone help me? Every tutorial I have found concerns removing the password or re-setting it. I need to remove that PROCESS.

Do you mean the lock screen passcode?
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > enter your passcode > Turn Passcode Off.
If it is not the lock screen passcode and is only requested when opening this particular app, you may want to check the settings within the app.

I have a 10g(10.2.0.4) primary database with standby on a solaris platform. I need to create another standby database for the same primary.
I have stopped the recovery on existing standby database and started copying(os copy) the files from existing standby to 2nd standby server. However I haven't kept the existing standby database(mounted) in begin backup mode. Is it okay?

I need to search a multi-page pdf and then extract just the pages returned by the search.

Version 5.0 of Preview allowed me to search a multi-paged pdf for specific text and then extract those pages returned in the search. Version 5.5 of Preview has removed that function. Does anyone know of a work-around, either using a third party piece of software, or perhaps automator? I'm desperate!
