Adobe reports the serial number is already registered to another computer.
What is the solution for this problem?
Actually, you want activation support for this, not regular customer care. Activation is tied to hardware, so when you change the hardware in your computer PSE thinks it's on a new machine.

I'm not sure that I follow. Are you saying that when you open a PDF file in Acrobat or Reader, that the display resolution changes automatically on your system?
What version of Acrobat/Reader are you using? Do you see this same issue in other files/applications?

I had Cs2 and Office for Mac 2004 installed on an OS 10.6.3 system. Worked fine. This weekend my computer did an auto update to OS 10.6.8 and now I cannot save or print from any office or CS2 Apps. What happened. Office also freezes and I have to force quit. Any advise. System or Software problem?

- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

Sounds like you synced the photos instead of importing the photos.
In iTunes with your device plugged in, go to the photos tab and uncheck the photos that were synced over, then sync again. This should take the photos from your coputer off the devices leaving just the camera roll.
If you have a Windows computer, go to mycomputer and right click on your device and select import pictures and video. If its a Mac computer, plug in your device and go to iphoto and select import all. -
When setting up Elements 9 from the disk I get the message "the wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 could be completely installed. The mentioned application has failed to install th: Shared Technologies.

As I mentioned in my last response, you appear to have the term "registration" confused with "activation" Registration is done once for any software product purchase. Activation can be done as many times as needed, though in the case of Adobe licenses you can only have two machines with activated installations at any given time for any one product.
I do not see anything in the link you point to that indicates an Adobe policy at all. What I see in that is an illegal activity whereby someone is showing how to illegally activate an Adobe product. I am removing the link. -

I was prompted to change my password as I had been hacked. Now, my ipad won't recognize the new password. I have deleted and readded the account. It still won't accept the new password. PLEASE HELP!!!
It was through Gmail. They blocked an attempt to log in to my acct from Bankok or some place like that. So...I created a new password but now cannot get email for my ipad. Cannot get my ical to recognize my email acct etc.

Computer Name changes when waking from sleep
Hi,
I'm running OS X Lion Server on a Mac Mini 2ghz Core 2 Duo and every time it wakes from sleep I get a message saying "There is already a computer on the network named MacServer, renaming to MacServer (2)".
It only happens when waking from sleep. If I reboot or use the mini for hours without sleeping it's fine, but once it's gone to sleep it renames on wake. When it sleeps overnight it's named MacServer (5) by the morning, as it wakes up every two hours or so to re-register itself on the network and each time it renames itself.
I don't have any other compters on the network with the same name. The only other computer is a MBP and has a completly different name.
Here's my setup;
My Mac Mini is wired via ethernet to a Time Capsule. AirPort is turned off (I've tried on and off).
My Mac Mini has a static IP address (x.x.x.40) with DHCP for everything else (DNS, etc.)
The Time Capsule is wired to an ADSL router via ethernet.
The ADSL router manages DHCP and NAT, with IP pool x.x.x.2 through x.x.x.30.
DHCP and NAT are turned off on the Time Capsule (bridged mode).
Wireless is turned off on the ADSL router.
Time Capsule is handling wireless.
I've tried resetting the ADSL router. I've tried resetting the Time Capsule (to factory defaults).
The problem seems to be with mDNSResponder, as the log seems to suggest that it is this daemon that thinks there's a duplicate computer name. I've even looked at the source code for mDNSResponder and the last mod-log entry suggests that a fix was put in for this issue in 2009. It doesn't look like it's fixed it, though.
I've tried doing a fresh install of OS Server several times now and, after the last install, it started happening before I got a chance to restore from a Time Machine backup. i.e. on a completly fresh install and assigning a completely new computer name.
Can anyone help me on this issue? It's driving me insane!I switched the server's WI-FI off and connected the ethernet cable to the ADSL router instead of the Time Capsule and, after several reboots, sleeps and wakes, there was no change to the server name. The Time Capsule was still switched on, connected to the ADSL router via ethernet, and available on the network, however the server rename issue went away.
I then took the ethernet cable out of the ADSL router, plugged it back into the Time Capssule, put it to sleep, woke it up, and guess what? That right; 'The name of your computer "safserver" is already...renamed to "safserver (2)"'
So, it looks like it's the Time Capsule. I'm going to downgrade the firmware from 7.6.1 to 7.6.0 to see if the last update is responsible. If this doesn't cure it, I'll try older firmwares and, if none of them work it's time for a Genius appointment.
(I khow another obvious question lurks: "why not leave it plugged into the ADSL router?" Answer: "ADSL router doesn't supply Gigabit ethernet.") -
I upgraded by home computer from XP Pro to Win 7..I receive a message when trying to my iTune site that I have 5 computers connected to iTunes in fact I have two(2)....I can guess that this happened when I changed my operating system What can I do to fix this issue ?

Error from TP 0247 (transp.control prgm), now why cannot add or transport ?
I was running a series of transports from backend
in two steps
tp addtobuffer (about 1000 transports) and tp import (about 100 transports) when my connection dropped.
When I went back in again the TP program just hangs, We have rebooted the server (stop and start SAP) and even done a cold reboot, but still the same errors with TP program just hanging, even when I try to either add to buffer (STMS) or do a transport.
Any ideas, I AM running against strict timelines to complete a series of process on this server and this is just the first of about 5days worth of work
ANYONE? PLEASE HELP!!!

It is crazy but in the apple store they set up the icloud for me and then I started sync the iphone against the icloud and i had some photos in streaming because they recommended to do like that. After that, the space got not enough and they asked for more more to increase the space, so I decided to come back to the previous method and sync my iphone with itunes via usb. Well, the email address that i had for my apple id became unavailable so i had to create a new account this time with gmail and since then, i cannot sync my iphone. I have done it today and i have lost my contacts and the calendar is no ,onger sync. I am using outlook to manage my mail and when I look for the i cloud it asks me for the old email address which no longer exists and does not match with the current one.

I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop which was bundled with PC Ultimate Software Suite, a collection of programs on one disc. It included Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, but I misplaced the insert that contained the serial key. I still have the sleeve that the CD was bundled with, as well as the CD itself. Is there anyway I can still download the full version of Photoshop Elements 12 without having to buy the program separately or buying Software Suite again?
If Dell provided the bundle you should contact Dell to see about getting a replacement or the serial for the disk.
