In PO ,a part of cost going to another GL account
Hi All,
I have a PO (eg:123), has a G\L account (eg:456),but a part of a cost is going to another G\L account (eg:789).
Can anybody help why this is happening? what can be the reason for this?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
The PO is a service PO,
Account assignment category:F (order)
Item category:D (service).
An outline agreement exist for the PO
The g\l account is getting changed in Service entry sheet. For some line item the G\L account is correct and for some line item the G\L account is incorrect.
Can anybody help from wher this g\l account is coming or what can be the possible reason for it?
Thanks in advance

Mydaughters Macbook's (3 years old) computer screen sometimes will waver andfreeze and then turn white if not moved around. She was told that thereplacement part would cost $600. Do youknow what's going on, and what is the replacement part?
Who told her that the replacement piece was $600?

UNION ALL slow (cost goes from 75 and 173 to 450,789!)
Hi,
I have two Selects (lots of joins - big tables)
Select A) has an explain plan cost of 75
Select B) has an explain plan cost of 173
If I union (or union all) the cost goes up to 450,789!
I can paste in the queries, plans etc - but if anyone has any quick ideas that'd be great.
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
What I'd like is to force the optomiser to run each query sequentially - but not really sure how.
Any help would be really appreciated - I have few hairs left and am just about to tear the last one out!
Cheers,
PatrickAttached are the queries and the explain plan.
I have simply tried UNION and UNION ALL to see if there's a difference (expecting UNION ALL to be faster).. but (distinct) UNION Is what I want.

Is purchase tax part of Cost of sales?
hi,
When calculating the cost of sales do we regard the purchase tax as part of cost of sales? If i give a scenario below :-
purchase invoice
============
stocks USD100
purchase tax USD20
Invoice total = USD120
In the above case, will both the stocks and purchase tax be lumped together as Cost of sales or only the stocks amount?Hi,
if the purchase tax is recoverable - then it not included in the sales. if it not recoverable you can include the sales.

Transaction data from one cost center to another cost center
Hi All
Can any one tel me how to move the Transaction data from one cost center to another cost center .
My scenario is basically : Users posted for company code 1003 for Cost center S00570 for the period 01.04.2007 to 30.11.2007 but it has to go to company code 1000 instead of 1003 for the same Cost center .S00570 .
What we have done is that we have changed the cost center from 01.12.2007 on words to the correct company code 1000 and now all postings are going to the right company code ie
to company code 1000.
Now the problem is how to bring back the old historical data posted from 01.04.2007 to 30.11.2007 to wrong company code the 1003 to correct company code 1000 .
Is there a way to bring back the historical data which has posted to wrong company code .
Thanks in Advance .
Any help highly appreciated and points are assigned .
Cheers
Ravindra.Ravindra
Once you have changed the company code in the master data, then the entries with respect to the different company code cannot be transferred. Please follow the process below and let me know if it works.
1. Revert the cost center master data to the original company code.
2. Repost the line items from this cost center to another cost center. Use tcode KB61. The cost center you will be reposting will be a routing cost center (say XXXXX).
3. Once all the line items have been reposted, change the master data of the cost center to the correct company code.
4. Again repost the costs from the routing cost center(XXXXX) to the correct cost center. You should have all the line items to the correct cost center now.
For more on reposting refer the link below:

Let me know if it worked.

I use Pages version 4.0.5.
My software is all up to date, 10.6.8 version of OS.
The particular document with the problem is 255 pages and currently at 125,000+ words. One area of a paragraph seems to be at fault and clicking within it has no effect. No cursor appears, no editing is possible and no other input is possible for that part of document.
I can work round this by going to another paragraph, clicking there when the cursor appears, then using the arrows to get the cursor in to position in this 'rogue' paragraph.
I am fairly new to Mac, only having bought this machine at the end of last year but have used it everyday since then. I did have problems with an image editing program supplied with a new Pentax camera but I have stopped using that program after taking the laptop to Apple tech in Sheffield UK who said the laptop was OK but the program was VERY slow and they could see when checking forums that this program was causing problems for other Mac users.
That was about three months ago, so the laptop was deemed to have a clean bill of health then.
I am curious and disappointed more than anything, as I can work around the problem at the moment.
What might be going wrong, how can I correct it, if at all, and should I be worried that there might be a more significant problem developing?zxcwx wrote:

I am trying to INSTALL the free trials of AI and PS when I click on the link to install it goes to another page says installing but nothing is happening. I have the FREE TRIAL Creative Cloud Membership.
I am getting very frustrated with this. When I try to install the Creative Cloud thing it asks me to pay even though it says try for free.Hi Mirrormonolith,
Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
Please let me know of that worked.

Stop firefox from pausing a tab when going to another tab or window
I am running firefox v5.0 and I have noticed that ever since v4 when I open another tab, the other tabs are paused and when I have an upload (ie: a video to youtube) going in another tab and I want to browse the internet using a new tab/window, it is stopped. I tried looking through about:config but I couldnt find any thing to disable firefox from pausing tabs.
I uninstalled Viewpoint Media Player, which fixed my problem with the plugincheck tab always opening. Viewpoint Media Player is responsible for the plugin called "MetaStream 3 Plugin r4", and I believe this plugin is triggering Firefox to open the plugincheck page. It is not enough to disable the plugin, it must be uninstalled.
Since it seems you don't have the "MetaStream 3 Plugin", it may be that some other plugin is causing the plugincheck tab to pop open. Try going to Tools (menu) -> Add-ons -> Plugins. Look through the list of plugins, and see if any of them have a red warning icon next to them. If one of the plugins has a red warning icon, it may be the plugin responsible for triggering the opening of the tab. Try uninstalling that plugin, or updating it to a newer version. -
How can I move part of one photo into another photo?
In older versions of Photoshop you could see two or more frames in the work area and cut an paste parts of one photo into another photo by using the "move" tool after the area to be moved was selected. I am having trouble discerning how to achieve this action in CC. Could someone in the forum with this experience give me some steps to take to complete this process? Thanks.
Thanks Trevor!

My email was deleted and I have long since forgotten the password - plus I must have typed personal information in incorrectly... I can't reset my password (email goes to deceased email account) and I have $$$$ left! What do I do to get access to the remaining dollars?
You do realize that there are many, many email providers and without knowing which one you are talking about, there is no way to answer your question?
Which then leads to this ..... Have you contacted your email provider about this? That's probably the best place to start. See what they recommend. -
I'm going to another country for a year and I would like to unlock my phone to take another sim other than my carrier. My contract with my present carrier is finished yet they still wouldnt unlock the iphone 4 for me. How can I be able to unlock it?t
Only the carrier to whom the device is locked can unlock it.
If you do not meet their requirements or they do not offer unlocking there is no official way to unlock the device.
Who is your carrier? -
GR going to wrong GL account for PO Item with Account Assignment Category M
Hi Experts,
I need some help on GR posting for PO Item with M as AAC.
PO1 for material ABC with M as Account Assignment Category, when I book GR for this Item, the GL document generated as below.
Dr: PRD (Cost Price Differences)
Cr: WRX (GR/IR)
The material ABC price control is "S" and already have standard cost.
For another material DEF which have ascetically same master data as ABC and got a similar PO2 with M as Account Assignment Category.
But the GR document as below.
Dr: BSX (Inventory)
Cr: WRX (GR/IR)
How can be one same setting got so different results, is there any data in Material or PO make these differences?
Actually the results for material DEF is what we want, how could I avoid the GR results for material ABC.
Thanks~Thanks you Mukthar,
I have checked all the information and porcess for both material and did a lot of testing in testing system.
Here is what I found.
Case
Material ABC SO: 1111 PO: 6666 (ACC:M)
Material DEF SO:2222 PO: 7777(ACC:M)
All the information in material mast data, SO, PO are the same.
The differences is that:
PO:6666 post GR before Material ABC's standard price release. So the first GR document as below
Dr: PRD (Cost Price Differences)
Cr: WRX (GR/IR)
This is correct document without material stand cost.
The problem we reverse the fist GR document, release standard cost for Material ABC. Then re-do the GR. but the GL document still book into PRD instead of BSX.
If I create a new SO:3333 and PO:8888 (with ACC M) for material ABC now.
The GR could be book into BSX.
It seem like once the PO got GR with 0 standard cost, even I relesed a new price for the material and re do the GR, it still take the previous 0 cost to book inventory which make all the amount into PRD.
Quite Strange
