In rc.conf, how to specify a parameter with a white space in it?

I'm setting up the wireless network. In rc.conf:
wlan_wlan0="wlan0 essid myessid key mykey"
myessid in my case is something like "ABC DE", I've tried many ways, but it seems all archlinux is doing is to simply split that string with white space characters as deliminaters.
Can any one tell me how to write the correct script in my case? Thank you.

iwcfg is used unquoted and thus subject to field splitting. The standard doesn't seem to provide any way to switch it off from inside the string being splitted.

Already i have seen this document, here they did not mention how to get the "Note TaskFlow" in resource catalog. In Resource catalog I didn't find any component named "Note TaskFlow".
To make it visible in resource catalog. What should I do?
To integrate Webcenter Services(link, mail, notes, etc..) with webcenter spaces, what do i need to do? Itseems all services are in the form of taskflows. How can i make it enable and to bring it in resource catelog?

How to restore archive logs with limited disk space
Old Backup을 사용하여 RMAN으로 database를 recvoery할때, 모든 archived
redo logfile들을 Restore할 destination의 disk space가 모자란 경우를 종종 만난다.
이러한 경우 여러 개의 restore and recovery job으로 나누어 수행한다.
즉, 첫 번째 restore and recovery job이 끝나면 archived redo logfile들을 지우고
다음 적용될 것들을 restore한다. 그리고 다시 Recovery를 수행한다. 이러한 작업을
원하는 시점까지 recovery를 하기위해 반복적으로 수행한다.
Oracle 9iR2(9.2.0.x)부터 RMAN은 MAXSIZE option을 제공하는데 이것은 archive log
file이 restore될 disk의 space를 control할 수 있게 해 준다.
만약 disk space가 매우 제한적이라면, 즉 예를 들어 모든 archive log의 size 합보다
disk free space가 적다면 MAXSIZE option을 사용하는 것은 매우 유용하다.
이 OPTION이 기술되면 RMAN은 Media Manager에게 disk space 크기에 부합하는 만큼만
archive log들을 restore하도록 한다. 부가적인 restore operation들은 restore된
마지막 archive log가 적용될 때마다 발생한다.
MAXSIZE option은 이러한 작업들을 하나의 rman job으로 처리하게 해 주고
실수를 하지 않게 해 준다.
아래는 MAXSIZE를 설명하기 위한 예제이며 총 6 단계로 구성되어 있다.
STEP 1: Add data to the database to enforce log switches
STEP 2: Backup the database and archive logs and delete the logs
STEP 3: Add additional data to enforce new log switches
STEP 4: Remove the data file and simulate a database crash
STEP 5: Restore the data file from the backup
STEP 6: Recover the database using MAXSIZE

cold backup means offline backup, you shut database normally and copy datafiles to another location.
i think operating system does not matter that much but it is RedHat Linux Enterprise Server.
backing up archivelogs whith rman script which is:

so here is the details.
1. because everything is lost, we restored all files(datafiles, controlfiles, redologs etc) from offline backup meaning copied all files from another location to corresponding location.
2. want to apply archive logs which were created after cold backup till disk failure and we have these archive logs with backups which were taken by rman.
So
first of all, we want to register these archive log rman backups(because these backup information does not exist in restored controlfile)
and then restore them and then apply them.
we need rman commands to register these backups and restore them.

I am having the follwoing custom query.

Instead of hard coding the values I have created the custom folder
with the follwoing query.

FROM gl_balances a, gl_code_combinations_kfv b
where a.code_combination_id = b.code_combination_id
gROUP BY concatenated_Segments

Now I have to create three input parameters period_name,set_of_books_id,currency_code.
The parameter set_of_books_id should have list of values so that the user will select one from it at run time. But when I tried to create the parameter
I am unable to create list of values for this parameter. (i.e in Parameter dialog box the For Item filed doest not have any field like set_of_books_id as it is custom query)
So how Can I add LOV for this parameter.

You custom folder needs to contain a statement like :
SELECT concatenated_segments, period_name,set_of_books_id,currency_code, (SUM(PERIOD_NET_DR)-SUM(PERIOD_NET_CR)) MOVEMENT

where a.code_combination_id = b.code_combination_id

HAVING (SUM(PERIOD_NET_DR)-SUM(PERIOD_NET_CR))<>0.
The you will have the period_name,set_of_books_id,currency_code items in the folder and can create parameters using these columns.
To define the LOV you will need to create separate folders that return the list of values required e.g.
SELECT set_of_books_id, name
FROM GL_SETS_OF_BOOKS
Use this folder to define an item class and then include the set_of_books_id from the first folder into the item class.

Is it your values in parameter NO separated by coma? And is it
parameter in where clause?
Do you want something like :
from table
where s_no in (NO) ?
If is answer "yes" you can create lexical parameter in report.
You can write in report sowething like:
select a.field1, a.field2,.....
from table a
&COND /* this is if is condition only one line after "from".
if you have more lien after where then you will put this &COND
in line where you want to have your multivalue.
Then in your trigger in form you should write:
sc_no := 'where a.sc_no in ('||:searchlist.c_no||')';
ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'pamametername', TEXT_PARAMETER, sc_no);
/* again this is if you have only one line with WHERE ili
conditions */
or you will write:
sc_no := 'and a.sc_no in ('||:searchlist.c_no||')';
ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'pamametername', TEXT_PARAMETER, sc_no);
It will substitute line in which is your conditions with
multivalue.

How to specify a user with EJBs

Hello.
I'm designing an integration system where I have to use EJBs. The problem I have is I need to specify a user when the client invokes an stateless session bean on the application server. I need it because the application the client calls, uses the ejb user id.
This is how the application (JBOSS jBPM) gets the actor Id.
Principal p = ejbSessionContext.getCallerPrincipal();
actorId = ( p!=null ? p.getName() : "unauthenticated-ejb-client" );
I get the unauthenticated-ejb-client because I have not especified any actor.
Could anyone explain me how to set the ejb user or actor.

How to use a parameter with Order By?

I am trying to pass in a parameter to a procedure (like 'ColumnName ASC, ColumnName DESC') to use with ORDER BY, but I can't get it to order on the passed in parameter? I have read a few posts but non of my attempts have worked.

My problem is, I need to print the document with the mm items. I work
in a print & copy shop, we must deal with whatever the customers send
us.
I actually stumbled around and found I could do it with the MultiMedia
Flash Tool, editing the poster options. It's a tedious process though,
and I'd like to find a way to set this for the whole PDF file at once.

Right above my footer and right below my main content on the page is a large white gap that takes over..how do i get rid of it?

Your main content bg is white so its hard to tell what space is extra space.
If you check your site in ie7 it stretches to about 3 times its normal length

I have been grappling with a problem for the past 2 days and cannot seem to work my way around it. How do I get rid of the white space in the navigation toolbar after installing LastPass?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the 64-bit Firefox on my Windows 7 laptop. After installing LastPass I get this white space in the left search. I didn't know if anybody has had a similar issue. Thanks for your time guys.

If creating a wrapper DLL which does the conversion for you is not an option (I think it won't since that would require C programming and if you knew C programming you wouldn't ask this here) then you will have to create a byte array of appropriate length and just configure the Call Library Node to pass this array as an Array of unsigned bytes and as C pointer.
On return you will have to copy out the interesting data at the right position.
First the length of this structure would be:

Now the fun part will be to actually get out the information. There are a number of difficulties.
First the strings are 16 bit Unicode so if you are interested in them you will have to call a different Windows API function WideCharToMultiByte function to convert the 16bit Unicode string into an ASCII string. For this part there has been a post here:

For the LONG values you would pick 4 bytes at the appropriate offset from the array through the Array Subset function and then typecast it into an int32 and pass that through the Swap Bytes and Swap Words functions to reverse the LabVIEW Big Endian byte swapping in the Typecast function.
The SYSTEMTIME is a structure with eight 2 byte integers so it would be best to use Array Subset again to extract 16 bytes at the correct offset, typecast this into a cluster with eight int16 numerics and pass it through Swap Bytes too.
You see accessing such API functions in LabVIEW directly can get easily quite a mess and that is the reason why creating a wrapper DLL to convert properly between LabVIEW datatypes and C datatypes gets soon the easier solution if you need to interface with more than one or two functions taking such complicated data structures.
