In Robohelp 9, search does not work for some Vietnamese characters.

I don't think there is anything we can do on a user to user forum. I suggest you report this to Adobe as a bug. Please follow this link.

I have a list for which I've enabled a search box (from web part settings, miscellaneous).
The problem is that for me and the others admins the search works perfectly, but for the other users who have only Read
privilege the search doesn't work and shows the loading icon forever.
Why does this happen?
How can I enable search box
for the list for all users?

For troubleshooting your issue, please go to Central Administration -> Application Management ->Manage Service applications-> select search service application -> click Permissions -> add "Everyone" with Full Control.

Spotlight/Searching does not work for afp shares in Lion

Hi
I cannot search for files in Finder on my afp shares. The server and client are both running Lion 10.7. Anything I am missing? Should this work or not? I'm so used to Spotlight I would really hate it if this isn't supported for afp shares.

Acrobat catalog, PDX, files only work from local or network drives.
From Acrobat's Help;

Data Re-Import does not work for some records stating there are duplicates

Thousands work, hundreds do not with the failure code "A record was not created or updated because a duplicate of the current record already exists.
Is this a data integrity issue in CRM and the same GUID is in use?
I do get a partially imported record for the import, but the data is not updated.

I am trying to update my Account records by exporting them and re-importing. I have been successful with re-importing many thousands of records but there are some which are refusing to be updated. The error I get is "a record was not created or updates
because a duplicate of the current record already exists".
This doesn't make sense to me because I'm selecting the option to prepare the data for re-import: "Make this data available for re-importing by including required column headings."
I can't find anything special about these records nor did I find anything special about the records that
were successfully imported.

BPM Worklist: Searching in custom views does not work for protected flexfields !

Have mapped few protected attributes in my .task file. Also created the corresponding labels on target SOA server. I am able to create custom views using these protected flex fields.
But what I have observed is keyword based search is not working for custom views using protected fiexfields.. however it works fine with public fiexfields.
Any pointers on this? Am I missing something in the configuration?

GUI_DOWNLOAD does not work for background printing

Need some help urgently.
Function moduel GUI_DOWNLOAD does not work for background printing. I want to know how this issue can be handled or we have to use some other function module.
We are using this in a report and i get the error dump OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED when we run this report in background.

you can not use gui_download in background.

Personalized Simple Search with new messageLovInput - Search does not work

I have currently set an Message LOV Input into a Simple Search Panel for IcxPorRcvSrchPG.
I have got the LOV bringing back the correct values, but when I hit the GO button the Search does not work.
Can someome please help me on how I am able to get the search working in the Simple Search Panel.
Details of VO's are as follows:
xxReceiveItemsDueVO (extended from ReceiveItemsDueVO)
xxReceiveMyItemsVO (extended from ReceiveMyItemsVO )
xxReceivePurchaseItemsVO (extended from ReceivePurchaseItemsVO)

Extended Attribute I am looking to search with is xxWono.
Current search items are working 100% with extended VO's, but when I try and search with new item, I am having no luck. The search is acting as though the new item has not even been created.

When I generate and then view the help, it looks perfect! I changed the name of the project folder since the information is proprietary. I have several pictures including the parent folder and the only 3 folders that are generated. I cannot find the Webhelp output folder. I think this is what you need to see.

Address Book SEARCH does not work anymore

Since the last week or so, my "Address Book" does not search at all anymore for any contacts on iCloud (which is where I have all my contacts). I saw others had a similar problem, and that one person was able to fix it -> https://discussions.apple.com/message/17417340?searchText=Address%20Book%20SEARC H%20does%20not%20work%20anymore#17417340 -> but this fix does not work for me. Interestingly it searches if I have contacts "On my Mac", which I usually don't.
I tried exporting my address book and re-inporting it (replacing all contacts), but it did not change anything.
Was anyone able to fix this besides the person in the above linked discussion?

I HAD THE SAME "SEARCH" ISSUE, HOWEVER I AM NOT USING iCLOUD... so my situation was yet slightly different I guess, I tried a bunch of things (exporting, reimporting etc.. Nothing worked..).
FINALLY WHAT WORKED WAS: I deleted everything in the Application Support/AddressBook EXCEPT the Metadata folder. When I relaunched AddressBook.. everything worked fine again, searches etc.. and all icons even reappeared I guess they are also kept with the metadata info not jsut the images folder since I had deleted it) .. and all my contacts from Facebook that I had synched using Cobook and some other utility before that are also there...
I've also played around with CoBook again.. to make sure things were stable, and so far they are.
HOWEVER.. iCloud scares me... so I'll refrain from playing with that for now

It's a little different for events that come through Microsoft Exchange, you tap the event to bring up bubble and click the 'Details' button, and then press 'Decline' to remove the event.

Select All in a table does not work for Drag and Drop

Hi. I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2 but have also reproduced in 11.1.1.3.
I am trying to implement drag and drop rows from one table to another. Everything works fine except when I do a Select All (ctrl-A) in a table, the table visually looks like all rows are selected, but when I try to click on one of the selected rows to drag to the other table, only the row I click on is dragged.
I tried setting Range Size -1, fetch mode to FETCH_ALL, content delivery to "immediate" but nothing works.
I even have reproduced not using a view object but just a List of beans with only 5 or 10 beans showing in the table.
Does anyone know how to get Select All to work for a Drag Source?

You will have to provide the correct password to delete the existing account, if you have tried but are not getting the password reset email, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password.

Search is not working for subsites

hello,
SharePoint search is not working for any of the subsites and it is just working for top level site. I can see that all the subsites is visible in search. Any idea?
interesting thing is, it is not working just for one site collection subsites. If i do search in subsites of another site collection of the same web application than it is working fine and it is working fine for all ohter web apps too.

I agree with Chris, please check following in your sub site: http://site_name/subsite_name
1. Click on Site Actions -> Site Settings ->Modify All Site Settings
2. Click on Search visibility.
3. Check All this web to appear in search results.
4. Browse to the document library or list in your sub site.
5. Click on Settings->Document Library Settings or list settings.
6. Click on Advance settings.
7. Check the last item - All items from this document library to appear in search results.

I went to the Audio store to see about getting a surround sound and the salesperson asked me why I wasn't using AirPlay, he said it was better than the Bluetooth, better quality. So I do have AirPlay on my Sony and I installed the app on my iPhone 5 but they can't find eachother.......when I try looking for my iPhone on my receiver it does not show it. The Sony display works through my TV, the set up screen is there but it says no devices found. Like I said, the Bluetooth finds the iPhone and works ok, but the AirPlay does not.....looking at the manuel it says that the AirPlay will recognize my device (iPhone 5) but it does not..........
