is it possible to include and to open a java-file(applet / application) in an interaktive Form (PDF, not HTML)?

I'm using Adobe Captivate 5.5 And Adobe Reader version 10 , i run thus project work fine but when i publish to pdf display blank in pdf sheet ( i used For .Swf File Animation Slide ) , i think then only Display Blank , how can solve this Problem RadWard.

From 11.1 onwards, the below two views are available to identify the jar files loaded into the Database.
JAVAJAR$
JAVAJAROBJECTS$
By querying the JAVAJAR$ view you can know information about the JAR files loaded into the Database and using JAVAJAROBJECTS$ view you can find all the java objects associated with the given JAR file.
These views are populated everytime you use LOADJAVA with "-jarsasdbobjects" option to load your custom java classes.
But unfortunately this feature is available only from 11.1 onwards and there is no clear workaround for above in 10.2 or earlier.

I am trying to code for passing data from an Applet to javascript. It appears the preferred method involves a package netscape.javascript to include support for the JSObject class. found a download of a jar file which contains this package. I am using Sun Creator and JCreator but dont know where to or how to install this package to be available to the compiler. Sorry for the beginner level question but any help is greatlyt appreciated. You need to create a project and add the jar to the classpath. Then you can import the required libraries.

You can add the jar file to Netbeans as an external library by choosing 'Tools' on the menu bar and then selecting 'Library Manager'. In there you can give it a name and the path to the jar file. Once it is setup, if you go to your project properties, and click the 'Libraries' option on the left you will be able to add it. Select 'Add Library' and choose the one that you just created, it will now be part of your project.
Alternatively, if you don't want to set it up as a library in Netbaeans, go straight to the project properties, select 'Libraries' and then select the 'Add Jar/Folder' option, now you can navigate to your jar file and add it to your project.

where can i add the lib directory so that many jar files for this application can get into lib directory. Looks like this "assemble" command has no argument for "lib". The "input" argument only handle the classes files.

There are two way to do this.
1) you assemble the .ear file, expand it's content, make modification and re-package using jar command (plain ant style).
2) instead of using the -ear option, you can use the -war option. It will leave the content in is expanded form, and you can then do the packaging in your own way, after making modifications.
You may also want to take a look at the 'appendToExistingDDs' flag of the assemble command (see chapter 16 of the user's guide [1]).
appendToExistingDDs <true|false>
Determines whether entries for a new Web service will be appended to the existing
deployment descriptors or whether they will be overwritten. The deployment
descriptors that can be affected by this argument are oracle-webservices.xml,
web.xml, and webservices.xml.
Beware; this style of assembly is a little hard to use, as you cannot re-run the same target twice, without to restore the original files.

It seems you are trying to access the service via Adobe Reader. Make sure you are signed in with your Adobe ID. Is Reader updated to the latest patch v 11.0.09?
It might be possible that a firewall or antivirus might be breaking the connectivity from Reader to the server.
Try accessing the service from the browser: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf and check if that works for you.

Including jar file to Oracle-Java without unpacked

Hi All,
I am writting JAVA classes in Oracle, but I don't know how to include a jar to the Oracle.
I had tried to use loadjava, and the classes inside the jar were unpacked and included successfully.
However, I am doing some cryto things associated with RSA, and if the jar is unpacked, the signature will be broken and I can't use it anymore.
Is there any way to include a jar file to the Oracle system without unpacking it?
In details, I want to include a jar file which contains the signatures and information of the provider "BC" (org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider) to my code. It works perfectly on Java alone. In Oracle, the compilation error is "cannot resolve symbol "import org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider".
I am using Oracle 10g Enterprise Release 2.
Please give advices. Thank you in advance.

"When you pass a JAR or ZIP file to loadjava, it opens the archive and loads the members of the archive individually. There is no JAR or ZIP schema object."
This matters because "Unlike a conventional JVM, which compiles and loads from files, the Oracle JVM compiles and loads from database schema objects."

Do you really need to load the jar? BounceyCastle does offer all the sources for all its stuff. I know it's a lot of pfaffing about but you could just download the SRC zips and the then loadjava each .java file you need. Should be too hard to automate that process.

have placed the .jar file in ....iplanet/ias6/ias/lib/java and included
the path in CLASSPATH variable in .../iplanet/ias6/ias60/lib/IAB .
I am facing problem in doing the same in Sun Solaris. Can anyone tell me
where to place the .jar file and how to set the path ? I am using iAS
SP2 in Sun Solaris.

Modify the kjs script in the .../iplanet/ias6/ias60/bin directory. Look for
the CLASSPATH= and add your jar accordingly.

I am having jar file and iam running that jar file in command prompt using java -jar WorkFlow.jar command. I have to include some additional jar files in classpath while running this WorkFlow.jar file... Anyone please tell me how to include the jar files in java command??

SathishYou can't. The WorkFlow.jar you have them specified in the class path entry in the manifest file.

What is the best way to integrate a sound file (mp3) into a PDF?

I saw that its possible to do it by Tools->Multimedia->Sound. This works fine on a computer but not a tablet. So what is the right way to embed a sound file into a PDF of maybe by Indesign? What i want is that people can easily open a document (PDF) on a tablet and when they click on a (play)icon that they hear a sound file. The best thing is that they can stop or put it on pause.

I think this functionality relies on Flash, so it's not likely it's going
to work on mobile devices, certainly not on iOS ones.

Importing data file back into blank PDF - some data fields don't populate

I have created a writable PDF in Adobe LiveCycle 8. Once the form is completed the person filling out the form submits by email. The email is successfully received and the data file is complete (opening it in a browser verifies this). However, when I use try to import the data back into the PDF file (by opening Adobe Pro | blank form | managage form data | import data - only some of the fields are populated. I need this data to repopulate the form so I can print it and I also need to export it to Excel for other purposes. What am I doing wrong?

Check the binding on the fields that don't populate and see that it is set to something other than None.
