Including schemas  and Entity Resolver

I have a MasterSchema.xsd which includes 2 sub-schema's, schema1 and schema 2 using include schemaLocation as shown below
<?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?><xsd:schema xmlns:xsd = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
elementFormDefault = "qualified">
<xsd:include schemaLocation = "schema1.xsd"/>
<xsd:include schemaLocation = "schema2.xsd"/>
</xsd:schema>
I am using the parser.setProperty to associate the MasterSchema.xsd with the instance. Like so,
parser.setProperty("http://apache.org/xml/properties/schema/external-noNamespaceSchemaLocation","MasterSchema.xsd");
I am registering an entity resolver with the parser and the entity resolver handler is an inner class. Shown below
parser.setEntityResolver(new EntityResolver() {
public InputSource resolveEntity(String publicId, String systemId)
if (systemId.endWith("MasterSchema.xsd") {
return new InputSource(("/absolute_path/MasterSchema.xsd");
} else if (systemId.endsWith("schema1.xsd")) {
return new InputSource(("/absolute_path/schema1.xsd");
} else if (systemId.endsWith("schema2.xsd")) {
return new InputSource("("/absolute_path/schema2.xsd");
} else {
return null;
The parser finds the MasterSchema.xsd but not the included schema1.xsd and schema2.xsd. Any ideas?
I am using the external-noNamespaceSchemaLocation instead of external-schemaLocation since I am not using any namespace.
Thanks
Mary.

I having the same problem, any resolution?

  • Does refreshing a report that includes Scope and Entity require elevated rights / permissions?

    This relates to the following thread:
    Why does refreshing a report in the EPM Add-In need to edit the Ownership Manager?
    Since I've received no responses on the above thread, I thought I might approach this from a different angle.
    If we have a report that includes both Scope and Entity, in SAP BPC 10 NW (801 SP03) / EPM Add-In 10.0 SP 16 Patch 1, does this require a user to have elevated permissions in order to refresh the report?  I ask because I have users who have rights to view reports, but they error out when they try to refresh a report's data, only where Scope and Entity are used in the report.  The tasks that error are:
    P0081
    Run Consolidation Tasks
    P0082
    View Ownership Manager
    P0083
    Edit Ownership Manager
    I do not understand why any of these should even be called by refreshing the report, as the user is simply "viewing" data that already exists in the environment.
    Can someone please shed some light on this or point me in the direction of how I can go about resolving this issue?
    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Jeff

    Hi
    I am facing the same issue despiste the elevated app permission as per
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj822159.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
    I still had the error 401
    the solution for me was
    Under list settings -> advanced settings update the Create and Edit access settings from "Create and edit all items"
    the add the user the right to add only ( no edit , no delete) .

    my phone keeps freezing on settings, I cannot make or receive a call but everything else is working including internet and mail. where it should be showing the reception bars it is only showing a broken line. How do I resolve this?

    If you are not showing reception bars, then I don't know how the data is working? Have you tried doing a reset? Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, check to see if it works. If that doesn't help, then try removing the SIM card, then reinserting it. If that doesn't help, then contact your carrier for assistance in calling.

  • ORA-30937 when validating element referenced from included schema

    I've boiled my latest problem down to a simple test case. Basically it seems as though the included schema is the problem, but I can't figure out why:

    and I get the error:

    ORA-06512: at "SYS.XMLTYPE", line 0
    ORA-06512: at line 37
    So it knows there is supposed to be a particle called message_number if it's not there, but not what to do with it if it is.
    One other thing, which I think is significant: If I amend my test.xsd schema so I define MESSAGE_HEADER there, so the only thing being referenced from testinclude.xsd is the SIMPLE type "MessageTypeType", I don't have a problem. It seems to be only when I include COMPLEX types.
    Any suggestions?

  • How to validate using schema and entities

    I am able to validate documents using w3c schema with either SAX or JDOM. But I need to add some entity definitions from a DTD.
    If I add a DOCTYPE to my document that references a DTD, the entities are handled correctly, validation fails because the document is not valid per the DTD. I may be dealing with a lot of schemas and do not want to create the whole DTD for every schema.
    Is there a way to validate using the schema and get the entity declarations without doing dtd validation?? I am using jaxp-1.2.2 (wsdp 1.1) and jdom beta-8.

    Declare only the Entities in the Dtd.
    Validate with schema & validate with Dtd containing
    only the entities.I did create a dtd that contains only the entities. The parser will correctly parse this but validation fails because the entire document is not dtd valid.

  • Linkage Error using Entity Resolver

    Hello,
    I'm working on a project that requires the use of an alternate JAXP
    parser implementation than what comes default with weblogic 6.1 (I'm
    using crimson). However, I'm getting a LinkageError when I try to use
    my code. The same code that gets this error is working fine on Weblogic
    5.1 (see exception below).
    It appears that there is some problem with the classloader hierarchy
    from what I can tell. I've tried defining a new XML service via the WL
    GUI with specific entries for my entities and have mapped these settings
    to my server, all to no avail.
    The problem appears to be appearing when I load my custom Entity
    Resolver which uses my own caching mechanism. For my own sanity, I do
    not want to be tightly coupled to the entity caching mechanism in WL 6.1
    and like I said this worked fine on 5.1. It appears that the

    I'm really frustrated by this one. I've lost nearly 2 days trying to
    figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.
    What I've tried:
    Adding custom JAXP classes to WL GUI and linking to server.
    Adding custom JAXP classes per entity and linknig to server.
    Mucking around with class paths, etc.
    Adding PreferWebInfClasses="true" to config.xml so my libraries would be
    used before system libraries.
    Thanks for any help,

    Ok, this could be an issue with start-up options being different with Sun Hotspot and BEA JRockit. When the server running JRockit is started, it usually prints its command line, could you try to capture it and post it into this news thread? Also specify which version of JRockit you are using (you could specify -showversion on the command line paste the output in this thread).
    Kind regards,

  • How to register a schema use a .xsd file which has lots of includes schema

    Hello, All,
    Does someone have the experience to register a schema use a .xsd file which contains several tags like <xs:include schemaLocation="../dt/somedatatypes.xsd"/>?
    I tried both the OEM and command line dbms_xmlschema.registerSchema(), although the whole file structure already in the repository, seems like Oracle can't automatically search and find the includes and register it. should I register those includes first? the actual error I got is "ORA-31000: Resource '../dt/somedatatypes.xsd' is not an XDB schema document.ORA-06512: at "XDB.DBMS_XMLSCHEMA_INT", line 0 ORA-06512: at "XDB.DBMS_XMLSCHEMA", line 26 ORA-06512: at line 2" .
    Any suggestion? thanks in advance...

    We do not (currently) support relative references in included XML Schemas.
    In order to use an include or import the target Schema must first be registered with XML DB under some known location. The schemaLocation argument needs to the 'Docuemnt Location Hint', or URL, that was passed to registerSchema when the included schema was registered.
    If you have cyclic dependancies between schemas you can use the force option of registerSchema to register the first Schema. This will then allow registration of the second schema to succeed. Once the second schema has been successfully registed the first schema must be explicitiy recompiled using dbms_xmlschema.compileSchema().

  • Including table and column comment in the Data Modeler

    Hi all,
    I used Oracle's SQL Developer Data Modeler (Version 3.0.0.665) and created a data model for my project. I e-mailed a PDF format of the data model to our Systems Analyst. She asked if I could re-create the data model and include table and column comments. Is this a possibility and if so how is this done?
    Thank you for your input,
    Seyed

    Hi Kent,
    Using the information you provided and Oracle’s Working with SQL Developer Modeler Reporting I did the following:
    1) Created a Reporting Schema User
    1.1) Using my Oracle 10g Personal Edition, I created a new user and gave him DBA administrative privileges
    2) Exported Relational Design to Reporting Schema
    2.1) Opened the Relational Design
    2.2) Exported it to the Reporting Schema. Note, I never got a message ‘Design has been exported successfully’.
    3) Reviewed the Report Results
    I think exporting the relational design was not successful, and didn’t get any error messages. Had step 2 completed successfully, I would have reviewed the Report Results in SQL Developer. By the way, I know I have marked this topic as closed, but would like to learn your method too.
    Thank you for your help,
    Seyed

  • JDBC Schema and Table Names Reversed

    Hi,
    We're currently evaluating CR4E but are unable to successfully run/preview any reports.
    We have successfully created a JDBC  connection using the generic JDBC driver. We are connecting to an Ingres database. The connection is successful and we can browse databases/schemas/tables with no problem. The problem is with the SQL that the reporting engine is generating.
    A simple example:
    SELECT "currency"."description" FROM   "currency"."john" "currency"
    In this statement, "currency" is actually the table and "john" is the schema name.
    The query should read:
    SELECT "currency"."description" FROM   "john"."currency" "currency"
    Help would be appreciated as we're completely stuck.
    Many thanks,
    Darran Smith

    Hi Tej,
    Thanks for clarifying the issue on the JRC.
    Executing:
    SELECT "price_type"."currency", "price_type"."description" FROM   "price_type"."john" "price_type"
    against the DB results in "Table 'john' does not exist or is not owned by you" as expected.
    Executing
    SELECT "price_type"."currency", "price_type"."description" FROM   "john"."price_type" "price_type"
    against the DB works just fine.
    I amended my code to simply call:
    CRJavaHelper.changeDataSource(reportClientDocument, userName, password, connectString, driverName, JNDIName);
    and changed the CRJavaHelper.java file around line 145 that originally reads:
    newTable.setQualifiedName (origTable.getAlias ());
    I tried setting the qualified name to various different things:
    "price_type"
    "john.price_type"
    "otherSchema.price_type"
    None of these worked, but they did produce different things in the JDBC trace log. I've uploaded the JDBC log file to showing what happens with either "price_type" or "john.price_type":
    [http://www.romofabrics.com/iijdbc.txt|http://www.romofabrics.com/iijdbc.txt]
    As you can see, everything looks OK (including the schema and table name) until the very final select statement is created.
    When you say that generic JDBC is supported, is that what I'm effectively using?
    Cheers,
    Darran

    Whenever I try to login as HR and use the HR schema
    I have the following problem:
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.0.1.1.1 - Production
    With the Partitioning option
    JServer Release 9.0.1.1.1 - Production
    SQL> connect hr/hr

    Warning: You are no longer connected to ORACLE.

    Could anyone suggest a solution to this problem ?
    I would like to access all the demos, but I don't
    see the Sample Schema Guide on tahiti.oracle.com,
    as referenced in another question.
    Thank you,
    Robert Freeman

    Justin,
    Thanks for your suggestion I found this advice
    in another thread:
    If you have a newly installed the database you
    should unlock the HR schema and reset its password
    since the password will be expired.
    Login as SYS user
    alter user hr account unlock;
    alter user hr identified by hr;
    Now you should be able to login to hr schema
    When I executed the first alter I got the
    following message:
    SQL> connect sys/password as sysdba
    Connected.
    SQL> alter user hr account unlock;
    alter user hr account unlock
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01918: user 'HR' does not exist
    So maybe I have two issues to resolve ?
    Re-create the HR user and Re-Create the
    HR's schema ?

  • Simultaneous development on PY schemes and rules

    Dear Colleagues,
    I'm working for a big company in the IT department and I'm responsible for the process payroll. We have a lot of developers, who are working on payroll schemes and rules simultaneously for different demands and different go live dates.
    The problem we are faced with is, that after go live of a demand or a project, in which a scheme or a calculation rule is included, sometimes an error occurs because of transported statements in schemes or rules, which are not already finished within another demand.
    Example:
    Project A and Project B is working on the same payroll scheme. Project A has been finished and went live (including the statements of project B), but project B has not finished the development and some new calculation rules or operations are missing on the productive system. Because of this, an error occurs when running the payroll.
    Question:
    Is it possible to deal with payroll schemes and rules similar like workbench objects? That means, is there any functionality availiable to block those objects for editing, when it is already included in a transport request?
    Thanks in advance for any idea or help!
    Kindly Regards
    Adem Demir

    No problem. At some point you will have taken a copy of iteration one's project and added that to CVS as iteration two. From that point onwards your iteration two index would be the same as iteration one. If you added keywords to it, it would be the index to use for iteration two. The index for iteration one would be unaffected as it would still be in CVS in a separate project.
    Things only get a little more complicated if you are working on two different iterations of the project at the same time. If this is the case it may be better to finish one iteration first and copy the <projectname>.hhk file into the other project. Provided you haven't rrenamed or deleted any topics all references will be fine.

  • Examples with JBeans / Session and Entity

    I wish if you could give links to web pages were to download examples of Java Beans
    using Session and Entity. In whole, JB that access relational databases.
    Best, would be an example to test and also that include the source code. Maybe
    an open source.
    Thanks for your directions,
    Janet

    Thanks for your fast answering!
    Another thing: if I plan to use this way of developing my applications, could be a good idea putting my Session EJB with my business methods in session, instead of calling a new EJB and removing it each time I load a servlet?
    Thanks again.That depends on what you need to do. If you need to retain state between business method invocations (like a shopping cart) then store a Stateful Session bean in your http session. If you do not need to retain state then simply lookup a Stateless session bean each time you need it.

  • Sum of LineCount Including Groups and Detail Data On Each Page Used To Generate New Page If TotalPageLineCount 28

    Post Author: tadj188#
    CA Forum: Formula
    Needed: Sum of LineCount Including Groups and Detail Data On Each Page Used To Generate New Page If TotalPageLineCount > 28
    Background:
    1) Report SQL is created with unions to have detail lines continue on a page, until it reaches page footer or report footer, rather than using  subreports.    A subreport report is now essentially a group1a, group1b, etc. (containing column headers and other data within the the report    with their respective detail lines).  I had multiple subreports and each subreport became one union.
    Created and tested, already:
    1) I have calculated @TotalLineForEachOfTheSameGroup, now I need to sum of the individual same group totals to get the total line count on a page.
    Issue:
    1) I need this to create break on a certain line before, it dribbles in to a pre-printed area.
    Other Ideas Appreciated:
    1) Groups/detail lines break inconveniently(dribble) into the pre-printed area, looking for alternatives for above situation.
    Thank you.
    Tadj

    export all image of each page try like this
    var myDoc = app.activeDocument;
    var myFolder = myDoc.filePath;
    var myImage = myDoc.allGraphics;
    for (var i=0; myImage.length>i; i++){
        app.select(myImage[i]);
        var MyImageNmae  = myImage[i].itemLink.name;
        app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegQuality = JPEGOptionsQuality.high;
        app.jpegExportPreferences.exportResolution = 300;
           app.selection[0].exportFile(ExportFormat.JPG, File(myFolder+"/"+MyImageNmae+".JPEG"), false);
