"Incorrect function" error on PostUIMessageEx in Labview with Labview runtime

Hi,
I have a TestStand GUI developped in C#. Now, TestStand has some Labview modules that needs to send UIMessages to the GUI (It is too deep in Labview code to bring it back to TestStand to send the UIMessage).
When I am using the Labview Full development version 8.6.1, everything is fine, I can see my messages. Now, when I switch to Labview run-time 8.6.1, the invoke node PostUIMessageEx gives me an error: Incorrect Function (error 1).
I have been trying rebooting PC/TestStand/Labview without success. Is there anything I am missing?

Changing to synchronous did not change anything. In fact, being asynchronous was a previous test, and I forgot to change it...
I have been trying few experiments, and here are the results:
1) I decided to change strategy. The Labview code would change a global variable. And in my PostStep callback, when I see that my global variable is deifferent from "", and send it to the GUI using a UIMessage, and I put it back to "". I know, I know, it is not optimal. But this way, the UIMessage is from TestStand to c#, and not from Labview to c# using teststand api... But, I ran into a similar problem using the SetValString in Labview to change my global variable.
2) What I do, is that I keep my Engine reference in a functional global. I have been trying to use either IEngine or Engine (TestStand.Engine.1) from the NI TestStand API 4.1.1 Version 1.0.
3) When I call my VI directly without using my Engine reference kept in the functional global, it is working. But I noticed that if I call this VI 3 times in a row, the Engine reference is different each time. It does mean that the Engine reference I am keeping in my functional global would be no more valid! So when I am using my functional global, it is not working...
There is something I don't do right. Is there a way to give Labview an Engine reference that would be valid throughout my execution? Or do I need to give back the updated reference each time I want to use the Engine in Labview?

LabVIEW load error code 3 when opening VI with LabVIEW 2010

I got this error when I try to open a VI saved in 8.6.1 with LabVIEW 2009 and 2010.
The VI open correctly with 8.6.1.
It's appening with only one VI. All other VIs are OK.
Anyone experience this problem?
What can I do to get over this bug?

I have errors trying to get a picture with LabVIEW.

On the property node, there are a whole bunch of different choices that I can choose from if I right click the node. I know that the camera is capable of supporting up to 32 bits of pixel data. I have a PCI-1424 IMAQ card and a Kodak KLI-2113 board I changed the camera chice to Linescan but I don't know what to wire it to. I also tracked down some VI errors, but I don't know why they are happening They are in red. The main VI the Color Snap in picture control.vi goes has errors in the IMAQ Attribute.vi and the IMAQ Configure Buffer.vi. I mean there are errors all the way down, I just went to the 2 deepest Sub Vi's where I found the errors comming from. You have to click on the specific ones I s
ent you to see all info for those ones. For some reason it doesen't come up if you just go in the main VI the Color Snap in picture control.vi

I do get an image on MAX, and I don't know if the KLI-2113 board is supported by NI, but it works in MAX and with the Kodak board driver that I had. Even with the Cohu driver that is imported with the NI software, I can get an image on MAX but still do not get one through a VI. Any ideas?

we are already aware of that problem, although it is not yet present on our Known Issues webpage. The reason for this error is that the new installation overwrites an instance-wide encryption key. Values in the instance preferences that were encrypted with the old value (the SMTP password and the wallet password) are invalid after the upgrade and decryption causes this error. As a work around, you can use the apex_instance_admin package to overwrite the invalid passwords.
The following code shows how decryption throws ORA-28817:

The receipt is for an STO and the material is split valuated. Qty and value updation is active and already similar receipt has been done for many qty.

Was the material type for the material changed recently? Pls. check the same.
If the qty update is active for the receiving plant & material type, then there should not be any issue.

Call Library Function Node produces error in Windows 7

Hi,
I've created a simple program using LabVIEW 8.5 that uses calls in winscard.dll to read and write to a Smart Card. I use Call Library Function Node to call functions in C:\Windows\System32\winscard.dll. This program works without a problem in Windows XP both within LabVIEW 8.5 and once it is compiled. I am also able to get this program to run without a problem when I run it in LabVIEW 2011 on a Windows 7 machine. However, when I run the program compiled with LabVIEW 8.5 on Windows 7, the first call I make to a function in the DLL returns Windows System Error 2 (file not found). Subsequent calls to other DLL functions return errors about invalid handles, which makes sense.
Can I compile the project in LabVIEW 2011 and save it back to a LabVIEW 8.5 compatible project file?

Way to little information to say anything useful about it. Attach your VI, explain what it should do, explain what the DLL is you try to call! You don't call your mechanicien saying your car doesn't start and expect him to diagnose the problem over the phone either with that much information.

I was able to get the install builder to build an installer for my
Application today 6/6/07. These are the steps I performed along with good amounts of trail and error.
1) I attempted to re-install the NI-DAQ 8.0.1 drivers however I didn't
perform this because it said it remove NI products which I didn't want
removed. But it didn't tell me what it would remove.
2) Instead, I copied the entire NI-DAQ 8.0.1 distribution to a directory on my hard drive.
3) I set the NI-DAQ 8.3 install build type to FULL in install builder.
4) In install builder when prompted for the components from the NI-DAQ
8.0.1 I browsed to the NI-DAQ 8.0.1 directory on the hard drive and
also un-checked the cache box.
5) It through another error this time saying it couldn't find
C:\NI-DAQ8_0_1\8.0.1\Products\LabVIEW_Broker71\LVBroker71Deu.mst (and,
LVBroker71Fra.mst, LVBroker71jpn.mst, LVBroker1071Deu,
LVBroker1071Fra.mst, LVBroker1071jpn.mst). It also could not find the
LVBroker1071 files in the
C:\NI-DAQ8_0_1\8.0.1\Products\LabVIEW_Broker1071 directory either.
6) I performed a search for these files and they did not exist in the
NI-DAQ 8.0.1 directory on my hard drive or the 8.0.1 CD I have.
7) These files DID exist in my NI-DAQ 8.3 directory located on my hard drive.
8) I copied the LVBrokerxxxx.mst (listed in 5 above) files from the
NI-DAQ 8.3 directory on my hard drive to the corresponding location in
the NI-8.0.1 directory on my hard drive.
9) This time when I rebuilt the installer for my application the build was successful.
Additional information:
When I built my application I only selected English for language
support. In Install builder in "Dialog Information I also selected
English.
I haven't attempted to try the installer on my target yet so I'm not
quite sure how successful I really was but at least I have a installer.

FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENTED error when calling C# method from SAP, why?

I've build a server stub in order to get SAP calling my own methods that exist in the C# world, for that I developed several methods in a class that extends SAPServer and then implemented them...
I added the special custom properties needed (Abap Name, length, etc) to the function and to its parameters, I've made the ABAP code required to call it...
I've checked, every parameters that I place in ABAP (importing, exporting and tables) are also defined in C# (its 53 parameters) with the same name (in C# they are in capital letters and in a diferent order but I tried this before and it didn't matter)...
The name of the function is the same...
How can I get the 'FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENT' error in SAP?
What's going wrong when I get this error?
Can anyone tell me?
Is there any place in this site that has a error description and possible reasons?
When I get a parameter wrong I get a different error (I tried to make smaller functions and they work fine).

I'll explain what I'm doing:
- we have a set of services made in a C and VB that are available using an API in C#, these services must be available to SAP. So I have a program that will see what parameters the API service requires and makes a proxy so that SAP can call these services.
To do this I must map SAP types with C#, build the function signature and then implement it. So I cannot use the wizard to do this
Now, back to the question, what kind of customer attributes I got wrong to get that exception? The most logic is the AbapName of the function but they are equal (the one called in SAP and the one in the customer attributes of the function)...

Is the person also exist in ERP?
As the middleware return the error CONTACT_PARTNER_GET_ADDR3_KEY , you can try to debug the BDOC to find out the reason.
You can set the breakpoint in the function , trigger the BP update, wait for system call it. But debug BDOC need some skill.

HP LASERJET CP1525nw print error when printing online Gmail emails with Google Chrome. Extra large font sizes and weird formatting issues only when printing emails from Gmail within Chrome. No problems when printing the same email from Gmail+Internet Exolorer or Thunderbird. Using the IE Tab extension in Chrome prints the email correctly but the style of Gmail's message window is completely weird ie: formatting bar is spread out vertically instead of horizontally. I believe it is clear that this is an application specific issue between the HP LASERJET CP1525nw printer and Google Chrome + Gmail. This printing scenario does not occur when printing anything else or when printing via another printer. I would appreciate receiving any suggestions to solve this issue.

A network error occurred while trying to communicate with the server.

I am getting some new error messages when opening the server app on my Mac Mini server running OS X 10.8.2 and Server 2.2.1. First I get a message that says "A network error occurred while trying to communicate with the server." and then after trying to open some of the service panes, I get additional errors that say "Multiple errors occurred on the server while processing commands." The services don't load and I just see "Error Reading Settings" in the server app.
I started to get these errors when I added a new website to the server. All the services are working fine but I cannot access them in the server app.
In console I'm seeing these errors when I try to access various services:

I have already restarted the server and used terminal to stop and start postgres. Any more thoughts on how to repair this?

Just as I had suspected, the whole GUI crashed because of certificate problems. After two and a half hours with enterprise support, it turns out the com.apple.servermgrd certificate in the server keychain had become corrupt.
We determined this by typing https://127.0.0.1:311 into Safari and we could see all the server modules and interact with them through the web interface. All the services were working properly as well so we knew that it was just the Server.app GUI that simply couldn't read settings that was causing the problem.
So, first we closed the server app. Went into /var/servermgrd and deleted all the files from this folder. Then, in Keychain, deleted the com.apple.servermgrd certificate. Did a search for com.apple.servermgrd in Keychain and deleted everything else that came up for it.
Then restarted the server. Now the server app was able to properly connect to the services in the background and read them properly. This was the jist of the troubleshooting that solved the problem. It also seems like DNS is causing problems because that is the only service that will not read right but is functioning properly in the background.
I will post an update once Apple figures out what is wrong with DNS. Hope this helps anybody else having these problems.

This transported issue started coming after power outage, sap system went hard shutdown.
Then we brought up the system. Before that , we do not have this transport issue.
our TMS landscape is
DEV QA-PRD
SED-SEQSEP
DEV is having the TMS domain controller.
FYI:
*At OS level, when we do scp command using root user, it is fine for any TR.
In STMS, while adding TR in SEQ(QA system), we are getting error like this.
Error:

Error message "can't nest items with different editing timebases"

Hello final cut wiz group!
I just finished a soundtrack in Logic Pro 7 and am trying to import the XML into Final Cut 5 with my G5 (OS 10.4.1). I'm getting a message that says "30 fps, NTSC rate does not match sequence preset time base 25 fps. The timebase defined in the the XML will be used. Unable to edit clip into sequence."
I can get the sound to play after rendering, but when I try to bring the clip into the sequence, I get an error that says cannot nest items with conflicting timebases?
Anybody have an idea how I can get myself out of this problem?

I'm not too familiar with using the XML functions but 25fps I believe is PAL and 30fps would be NTSC. That is a problem. When you export from Logic you may be able to change a frame rate setting in the export dialog. Or you could just bounce the file into a compatable format such as AIF or wave/PCM and then import that. Good luck.
