Incompletion log for new order type
Can you tell me for setting the incompletion log for an order type what is the procedure
Hi Pooja,
Let me make it very simple for you.
Firstly, you will have to go into customizing SPRO - SD - BASIC FUNCTIONS - LOG OF INCOMPLETION ITEMS.
1) Select Define Incompletion Procedure.
You will be asked whether to create at Sales Order Header or Sales Order item
Choose Sales Order Header, and either copy an existing incompletion procedure or click on new entries and assign a number range and then define the table and field names which you want to be compulsoraily inputted in the Sales Order at the time of saving.
I am sure you know how to get the table and field names, press F1 in the relevant field and go to techincal details, and get it from there.
Now if say you want to issue a warning to the user if he doesnt input any of the fields that you have entered in your incompletion procedure, just make sure you tick in the warning field.
Also based on your business scenario, you can decide what level of action you want to take if the Sales Order is not entered with all the relevant field names that you just maintained in your incompletion Log.
This can be handled by the column called " Status Group "
Based on the status group you can decide whether to restrict Billing of the order or Delivery as so on against each table and field name that you must have maintained in your incompletion procedure.
Just make sure the tick that you see in Status Group, means that particular activity is restricted.
Now once you finalize all the table and field names along with status group and warning messages, now is the time to assign this incompletion procedure against your sales order document type in transaction VOV8 (Please note we are using VOV8 since we earlier defined this procedure for Sales Order Header)
If you would have choosen Sales Document Item, then you would had assigned this incompletion procedure against your item category in transaction VOV7.
Now once this maintenance is done, you are ready for testing.
I hope this will help you.
If it does please dont forget to reward points for contribution.
Regards
Ravi

Incompletion log for sales order
Hi, Experts.
I am looking for the user-exit for incompletion log for sales order, If the user choose DC = '20', so the incompletion log will check the field of Incoterms.hi,
yes shiva sir is right.
Form USEREXIT_CHECK_VBKD
This Userexit can be used to add additional logic for *
checking the sales details for completeness and consistency. *
US_DIALOG - Indicator, that can be used to suppress *
dialogs in certain routines, e.g. in a *
copy routine. *
This form is called from form VBKD_PRUEFEN.
just adding to the context:
there are two ways of doing it.
1. hard code - vbak-vtweg - DC = '20' then system has to check the fields vbkd-inco1 = knvv-inco1, vbkd-inco2 = knvv-inco2.
2. create a Z table and link the user exit to check what the entries are there in Z table and react according to the entries. before that in Z table should be with this fields called - vtweg, inco1 &2.
hope this clears your issue.

Incompletion log for rejected order lines.
I've one order with 3 lines items, and the 3rd line missing Plant Value (WERKS). Whe I rejected the 3rd line, the order still shows on V.02, and the incompletion log on the order still show the order is incomplete. So it stops me from further processing the whole order.
Is this SAP standard functionality? Do I miss any configuration to allow incompletion skip the rejected lines?
Thanks.Charles Zheng,
This is default you will have to enter plant to proceed further, Based on the plant your shipping point will get configured in the sales order based on which your delivery will happen.
It is manadatory that you need to maintain PLANT in sale order. wihtout which yes you can save the document. But delivery is impossible.
It is standard Feature. You will have to maintain Plant either in Customer Master record, CMIR or Material Master from where the plant will come automatically. If Suppose you have not mainatined in masters the you will have to enter it manually..
It is Standard Format...

No Incompletion Log for Sales Order with net value as zero
Hi all,
There is an Inbound IDOC which creates a Sales Order.
When we check the IDOC, we find that it has got 4 line items (E1EDP01). However, for all the items except the third one (for example), the segment E1EDP05 is filled. In the segment E1EDP05 the field KRATE contains the corresponding net value for the respective line items.
Then when we check Sales Order which is created, we find that the third line item (for example) has the net value as zero. In this case, ideally there should have been an entry in the Incompletion Log. However, it does not happen so.
I suppose the issue is with the third line item in the IDOC for which the segment E1EDP05 is not present. I have debugged the corresponding FM is IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS, but was unable to find any clue.
Please let me know the reason for this.
Thanks and regards,
AnishurIn routine interpret_idoc_orders the item conditions are filled by calling
WHEN 'E1EDP05'.
MOVE IDOC_DATA-SDATA TO E1EDP05.
PERFORM ZUORDNEN_ORDERS_E1EDP05.
In case KRATE is empty no values are transferred to the order
IF NOT E1EDP05-KRATE IS INITIAL.
PERFORM IDOC_CUR_MOVE USING E1EDP05-KRATE XKOMV-CURRDEC
XKOMV-KOEIN
XKOMV-KBETR D_FLAG_P-PKON.
ENDIF.
If that is a valid scenario, you need to adjust your incompletion procedure in customizing to include the net value on item level so any missing value is reported.
If this is not supposed to happen you might want to hook into one of the user exits in the idoc and in case KRATE is missing let the idoc fail.
Hope that helps,

Steps to create a new order type
could someone plz tell me how to create a new order type and what other things i should look into to make it work.
ThanksHi sri
if you want to go for new order type then copy standard into Z doc type. for example (OR to ZOR) , because there are tables which are assigned to the doc type internally that get copied when you copy from standard .
If your requirement is for same sort of doc type with diff changes suggestions is go for (OR to ZOR)
Now when you copy form standard to Z doc type , you need to configure as per your requirement in the VOV4 also

User exit to update the incompletion log in sales order for pricing error
Hi experts,
I have to check the some mandotory pricing conditions in sales order, if that conditions are not exist in sales order then i need to show the information message as well as i need to update it in incompletion log of sales order. (incopletion log we can see on menu bar 'EDIT' or ctrl+F8 on main screen of VA01). So that user can save the sales order but it will be in incomplete status.
I have completed it upto showing the information message using user exit 'MV45AFZZ', but after this i don't know how to update it in incompletion log of sales order for pricing. I tried to update in tables VBUK-UVPRS, but i am not getting the desired result.
Please anyone can tell me how to update it. In which user exit i can update the incompletion log.
Thanks and Regards,
Vicky.Hi Vinod,

New order type for a purchase order similar tu UB.
Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to create a new order type for a purchase order. This new order type should work as a UB order type but "plant" and "storage location" should be indicated by default and shouldn't be changed.
How should I proceed?
Thanks in advance.
Luis. The problem is that If I specify default values for each user (plant and storage location) It will always propose these values when using different order types. This can't be.
Isn't there any other solution in standard sap?

Impact of new order type Creation.
Greetings all SD experts,
Currently, there's a new request in my company to create a new Sales Order Type via VOV8. Correct me if I'm wrong here but by creating a new order type, we need to also look into the item category assignment as well as the schedule line and the sales area permitted for the new order type.
Aside from that, I believe I need to look into the SIS aspect as well the subsequent delivery and billing type ( whether using back the existing types or there's a need for a new creation ).
My queries are as following :
1 ) What will be the impact for a creation of new sales order type besides those mentioned above?
2 ) And are there any impact in other modules that I should take note of ?
3 ) What are the subsequents config/settings that I need to look upon creating a new sales order type ?
4 ) What will be things that I need to take note of if there's a need to create new delivery and billing type ?
Sorry for the amount of queries above but your valuable input will be greatly appreciated here.
Many thanks in advance.
Warmest Regards,
EdieHi Edie,
To add / create a new Sales Doc type, u need to do the following config. Also if you are in Support project and you want add this it is always advisible to take reference data from the customer.
Config required is:
Assign Sales Document to Sales Area
Item category determination
Assign Document Pricing procedure
Determine pricing procedure
Assign Output Types
Assign Incompletion Log
Assign Partner determination procedure
Maintain copy control Sales docs to Sales Docs & Sales Docs to Billing
Maintain copy control Sales docs to Delivery
Free Goods / Material Listing
Update Groups for LIS
Scheduling With Route Schedule For Sales Document Type
all these above assignments need to be done.
4. You dnt need to create a new delivery and billing type, u can use the existing ones only
Revert back for any clarifications.
REward if it helps

Thanks aheadHi Hooi,
I'd like to know whether you can build successfully in your local machine with MSBuild. You have to build succeed with MSBuild beore you can build with TFS Build since TFS build use MSBuild as its default compiler.
From the error message, you might build with wrong platform for your project. Please check if the build platfrom is proper. If you have customization of your build process template, it would be better to elaborate the reproduce steps and customization details.

Creating a new order type in OM
Hi dear
I have to create a new order type in order management.
Once the order is booked, the inventory should decrease automatically without passing through "Release Sales Orders", "Transact Move Orders" and "Shipping Transactions".
After the line status is closed, i can generate the invoice for the order through the autoinvoice master program in receivables.
Can somebody explain me how to create such an order type?
Thanks.
Regards,
Mustapha.Thx a lot for ur help dr.
I have activated the material transaction interface and now the stock quantity has decreased.
I just wish to confirm some points in the creation of the new Order Type.
I have done the following setups:
Order Category: Mixed
Transaction type code: Order
Fulfillment Flow: Order Flow - Generic
Line workflow assignment: BO Line - Inventory Interface
Default return line type: Credit Only Line
Default order line type: BO Line - Inventory Interface
Plz confirm if the setups parameters are ok especially the Default return line type: Credit Only Line
Thanks a lot dr. -
What is the need of creating New order type in PO
Dear Experts,
I have a doubt in MM, what is the need of creating New Order Types? Please explain with Business scenario. Thanking you,
Regards,
Elangovan.AHi Elangovan
Whenever you have a doubt like this...
--- just verify the config settings for your parameter (order type here).
---Also check whether authorizations can be given for this ?
---Do you need it for specific analysis ? Are there standard reports/listings available ?
So, some of the uses of order type are:
1) What are the parameters controlled by order type ?
It controls the number ranges and screen layouts etc. So, if you want to have different set of number ranges and different screen settings, then you may need a new order type.
2) Authorizations can be controlled with order type.
3) You can also use it in analysis/listings

New order type creation ?
Hi,
While creating a new order type what points we need to remember ? And what information we need to get from the user.
As per my knowledge i can create the order type as
01) Define order types
02) Order type dependent parameters
03) Define number range to the order
04) Scheduling parameter
05) Conformation parameters for order.
Other than this is there any other points we need to consider.
Please guide me.

New order Type setup in Oracle Apps 11i
Hello All,
I setup a new order type for a new organization. When i want to select 'Invoice Source' for the order line type in 'Transaction Types', I see nothing in the list of values.
The Invoice Source is already defined and is working for other order types for existing organization units.
Regards
AMThanks for your response.
A transaction type (INV) is already defined in AR. This is what is assigned to an existing organization. I set up a new org and am trying to create a new order type for this org.
Here is what I am doing:
1) In order Management--Setup , created a new Transaction Type (New_Line). Transaction Type Code is Line, order Category is Order. The Sales Document Type defaulted to 'Sales Order'
2) Then i defined a Transaction Type (New_Order) and assigned the Line Flow (order type --->New_Order, Line Type-->New_Line, Process Name ->Line Flow - Generic)
I am running into two issues.
1) Can't assign the Invoice Source to the New Line Type I just defined; and
2) When I book an order, I get "No workflow assigned ..." Error.
Am I missing anything,
Thanks

Creating new order type in OPJH
Dear friends,
I wants to create new order type for my process order in t.code OPJH.
While creating so, i have given order category as "40" (for process order) & Order type as PI01. But system says that the key "PI01" already exist. But in the order type overview screen the system is NOT listing PI01 in the selection list ( If i press F4).
Could any guide , how to create order type for process order?
Any help will be awarded
Thanks
SenthilHi friends,
Thanks..I have found solution. Instead of OPJH, we have to look into CORN for process order.
