Incorrect amount Format

Hi Guys,
I am working on a SAP Script created by someone else but now it's coming up with an error, actually the amount field in the output is having some problem, for example for amount one thousand four hundred twenty USD and 10/100 its returning $1.420,10 rather than returning $1,420.10 , so can you please let me know how to take care of this.

The format currency depends on the user parameters.
U can use the WRITE statament, and the system automatically will write the currency in according to the user parameters.
U can try to use the statament SET COUNTRY <COUNTRY>, set all formats (date, currency) used in a country. In this way your program should be independent from user parameters.

HI All ,
I have a Business Connector Error message which I am not able to resolve. When I try to pass test data to SAP from BC using "Run" function I get the following message "Packed field contains incorrect BCD format"
I know this message is related to the amount fields : I am calling a SAP Bapi /POSDW/BAPI_POSTR_CREATE .
I have tried a lot of combinations of sending the amounts but I always get this message. The SALESAMOUNT field in SAP in the BAPI is DEC with length 28 and DEC as 9.
Pl advice how should the amount fields be formatted ? if possible with an example ,,say if my amount is 100.00 then what should I mention in the test run ??
I am really new to Business Connector hence any help will be greatly appreciated.....

Try moving yout total to a charcater fields.
When loading data inti IT0008 ANSAL has to be type c otherwise the data doesn't load.
So once you have your total move to L_total and use this in your BDC.

Finder showing incorrect amount of free space

After the recent Mountain Lion update, my Finder now shows an incorrect amount of free space.
I have a 500GB hard drive, and I have about 150GB free.
After the update, finder says I have 478.4 GB free?
That looks like the total capacity, after you account for system software. I've done a PRAM and SCM reset, disk verification and repair, but still no joy.
Any thoughts? Is it a bug in the update?

This is probably like the issue that I was having on my MacBook Pro. If you are using Time Machine on a laptop it stores the diffs in a file on your hard drive. This action can be disabled with the terminal command
sudo tmutil disablelocal
This turns the local Time Machine off. It is up to you if you want to do this, but Finder shows this space as unused since it can be overwritten when needed. It saved me over a hundred GBs of space.

When opening .doc from website link, FF appends .docx extention to file & does not open in Word 2010, with incorrect file format error. Pls Help

I'm using Firefox v12 to open a hyperlink from a website that points to a filename.doc MS Word Document for download.
We are then asked to open the file with MS Word (Default), which our installed version is MS Word 2010.
Firefox then renames the file appending a .docx to the filename e.g filename.doc.docx. MS Word 2010 opens with error 'incorrect file format', which is correct as Firefox has renamed it.
Is there a fix or workaround for this?

I can save the file and it opens fine.
It's when I open it directly, Firefox appends the 'docx' extenstion to the filename.
If I continue to reopen from the web link, Firefox renames the file as so
mydoc.doc-1.docx
mydoc.doc-2.docx
mydoc.doc-3.docx
I can open a .doc from a Microsoft site ok.
I have the feeling it's the way the web server is reporting the mime type to Firefox.
The link in question works fine in Internet Explorer.

Amount in Bar Code is incorrect;Amount in the line item can be used instead

We have a problem in our Brazil company code.
When we have a document with value higher than 5,000.00 BRL it is subject to Pis/cofins tax. In the Boleto (paper) document the amount is after tax deducted. But we see the full amount in the Vendor line item in SAP
When the system reads the bar code and saves this code in the vendor line item during the document change we get a warning message no."8B797: Amount in Bar Code is incorrect;Amount in the line item can be used instead".
And the amount in the Barcode line automatically adjusts itself to the line item amount which is the pre-tax amount (full amount).
Example: Amount in the SAP Invoice doc is R$ 6,268.72
Amount in Boleto (paper) R$ 5,977.22 (after deducting PIS/COFINS) - This amount appears in the bar code but once we press enter after the warning message it automatically adjusts to R$ 6,268.72 .
We tried few notes like 784748 to apply but it says it is obsolete. We are on ECC 6.0 Release level 11.

Is there any way we can change the date and amount format?
Actually we are printing a Invoice smartform for US.
Now i want to copy that smartform for European countries for minor changes in the layout. In the same way i have to change the date and amount format. Is there any way we can do with out hardcoding. Please help in this issue.

We have the same problem. Our WDA is running under a service user which has the US date format. Even if we do
SET COUNTRY 'DE'.
It does not change the display format to DD.MM.YYYY but retains MM/DD/YYYY.

Your web application is what application (including version) running on what operating system using what application server?
The message you have posted has nothing to do with the Oracle database.

Journal Template: amount format

I think there is no specific area to set the amount format for Journals in BPC tool, but ultimately we will see the
reports right? So can define the required format in Report Templates.

This is a common problem, when carrying out BDC.
For example, while recording you met with the 2 fields --> MSEG-DMBTR (Curr) and MSEG-MENGE(Quantity).
Go to SE11 --> MSEG --> Search for DMBTR --> Double click on the Data Element i.e. DMBTR --> Double Click on the domain WERTZ --> You can see under the block Output Characteristics : Output Length = 16.
While declaring the TYPES Structure, make it CHAR(16).
Similarly for MENGE --> Data Element : MENGE_D --> Domain : MENGE13 --> Output Length = 17.
Make it CHAR(17).
For Date field ---> CHAR(10).
Consider this technique as the Rule-of-Thumb while doing BDC.

IDVD5 "Incorrect Disc Format" on Home DVD Player

My newly created DVD will not play in our home DVD player (which has played DVD's I have created in the past). I keep receiving the message "Incorrect disc format". I have burned my project to DVD-R's and DVD+R's. I have enough space, I am burning at "Best Quality", and have deleted the encoded assets before a re-burn because I edited the project. The DVD's I have created will play on my Mac and on other computers (PC's) in the house. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I read theses on many différent home dvd players and computers (IBM or MAC)
I upgrade to iLife4, same thing, but some reading errors...
I upgrade to iLife5, dvd play only on few home dvd players, and on IBM laptop, having lots of problems
I upgrade to iLife6, Only my MAC or a cheap magnasonic home dvd player read the "iDVD burned DVD-r).
What's happend, Apple change the encoding method of iDVD !
I bought a brand new Panasonic DVD-S77, and ... "disk error"
I try to burn 2x (like iLife3 or iLife4 in the past) same résult.
Im frustrated, I don't try Toast or Popcorn, iDVD is supposed to do the job!
I have my G5 since 4 years, I use TDK and Verbatim DVD-R (unfortunately made in China or Taiwan).
G5 1.8Ghz Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Incorrect total is being added up on registration form and submitted to PayPal as an incorrect amount

We have an Adobe Central registration form for our event and when people total the cost and submit payment they are being billed an incorrect amount. Pay Pal says this is an Adobe Forms issue. Can you help?

JAAS -Incorrect address format-Heimdal

I am trying to execute the jaas authentication tutorial sited in the following url: " http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/security/jgss/tutorials/AcnOnly.html ". But when I set the "useTicketCache" option to true in the jaas.conf configuration file and run the code it returns the error:
"Incorrect address format."
Authentication failed:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
I also add the option: 'ticketCache="/tmp/krb5cc_0"' but the error remains.
Before running the code of the tutorial, I have executed heimdal's kinit so the TGT of the principal is placed in the ticketCache, in the "/tmp/krb5cc_0" file.
The version of kerberos I am using is 'heimdal daily snapshot october 2005'.
Does anyone have a clue why this fault occurs?

Check the personal addressbooks of the sender. Most likely he has the
wrong internal users in his AB incorrectly.

can you change your driver program? if so , write the code lines as below.
let us suppose your amount field has length 19 (output length: for this see the domain ) then declare a field of caracter type.
data: v_amount(19) type c, "Total length
v_amt(15) type c, "Length before decimal
v_deci(3) type c. "lenght after decimal
let us say your field is v_netpr
v_amount = v_netpr.
split v_amount at ',' into v_amt v_deci.
replace all occurances of '.' with ',' in v_amt.
clear v_amount .
concatenate v_amt '.' v_deci into v_amount.
now you can use this variable to print in the form.
if you cant change the driver program then the same logic you can use.
if you want to know how to writge the subroutines in the form then search for subroutines, you will get lot many results.

Form FI_FAX_COVER_A4 has incorrect page format

I am getting error "form FI_FAX_COVER_A4 has incorrect page format" while executing the payment program RFFOEDI1 in batch mode.
This error message is not consistent. I am not sure how form FI_FAX_COVER_A4 is getting triggered by program RFFOEDI1.
Can any one help me on this issue.

In the outbound queue of CRM, the queues are stuck up in SYSFAIL state.
The error is ' Packed field contains incorrect BCD format.'

In the CRM Server, the structure has more fields than in the R/3 System. Fields BAPISDIT-TAX_AMOUNT, BAPISDIT-CR_EXCHRAT_V and BAPISDIT-EXCHRATEST_V have data type 'DEC' and do not exist in the R/3 System. During the initial download, the fields receive the value '020202...' and cause the termination "The packed field does not contain a correct BCD format" in function module CRM_SALESDOC_MAP_BAPI2MBDOC.
Use Transaction SE11 to add the following fields at the end of structure BAPISDIT in the R/3 System:
