Incorrect VPRS posting in COPA which needs reversing

Hi all,
there is a issue on COPA:
In my pricing procedure, the cost is calculated twice. VPRS and FOC. In the order it appears correctly for both conditions but when the document is billed it misses the cost on VPRS and display O as inactive. But the FOC has the cost. In order to correct this I used OSS note 15462, and changed the calculation to 900 from 700 in VPRS.
The problem I am having is, this will resolve all the douments created going forward after the change is made but how can i correct the billing documents which are identified with incorrect postings to COPA. Coz ideally i need to reverse the incorrect ones and then post them with the correct posting. For which i think i need some user-exit... which I am not sure of.
i am new to COPA, have not much idea. Please help me how to solve this issue? and what are the other info required to solve this issue?

You can try to use program RKERV002 (transaction KE4S) to re-transfer SD billing documents to CO-PA. Just select a range of billing docs or select by creation date equal to dates that were prior to your configuration change. Be sure to set the radio button option for reversal of line items to cancel the original posting and repost the new values in CO-PA.

Do not want to Post to COPA

Can someone please explain the value flow between FI/SD and COPA?
We want to stop certain type of Misc. Debit Memos from posting to COPA. A manual pricing condition is mapped to a COPA value field. The GL account used for posting this kind of Debit memos (the GL account assigned to Account Key in VKOA) is already removed from the cost element group which was assigned to PA transfer structure frm FI.
Does anyone have some idea what other settings we need to be change so the Debit Memo does not do a posting to COPA. Is the posting happening due to the mapping of Manual Pricing condition to the COPA value field? Do we need to remove it to stop the posting to COPA?
We are on ECC 6.0. Does the posting go to COPA at the time of Sales Order creation or Billing document creation?

You need to delete mapping of Manual Pricing condition to the COPA value field as that is also one of the main component through which value flows from SD to COPA.
But I am agree that if you don't consider your some of the debit memos to flow to COPA, then you will not be in a position to get clear picture in COPA as per your FI P&L. Actually your FI and COPA P&L (Generally you develop in COPA as per your required structure of P&L) will not be tallied.
Pls consider the same before removing the same assignement from PA transfer structure and assignment from COPA value field to SD condition type.

What is the difference between Post Goods Issue (PGI) Cancellation /reversal and Returns Process?

Hi,
PGI means actual movement of goods from the plant to the customer. So your plant stock will be reduced.
The system will also post the inventory value to the Accounting. That is Cost of goods sold will be Debited and Stock in hand will be credited. This inventory value is the Cost price (Condition type: VPRS).
Reverse or Cancel the Goods issue:
You did the PGI. But you have some problem in that delivery document. So you want to reverse the PGI. When you reverse the delivery, your Plant stock will be increased. The system will also create the Accounting document with the reverse entries. That is Cost of goods sold will be credited and Stock in hand will be debited .T. code: VL09.
Return:
You have created the sales order, delivery, PGI and Invoice. Now your customer returns some material. Then you need to create the Return order, return delivery and Credit memo.

1) for item base on standard price, price difference during GR or IR will post to copa. does it mean if GR price difference is 10 and IR the price difference -2, then the total difference in copa is 8?
2) for item base on map, how does the difference flow to copa? the changes in stock account how to flow to copa?
3) for item base on standard price, after miro posting, why no profitability analysis in accounting doc.
4) for item base on map, after miro posting, i do not see profitability analysis in accounting document. why?

2) changes in stock account for map product due to price variance, not flow to copa, correct?
3) if no variance in either price difference for standard price or changes in stock account for map, then no document posted to copa, correct?

i want to schedule a job which needs to be run every day one o clock early morning i haven't set the job_scheduler before this. by searching thru net and prev scheduler coding i have written the above code here for running evry day early morning 1 o clock i m little bit of confused in the time
repeat_interval=>'FREQ=DAILY;BYHOUR=01'; whether is is correct one or wrong?
and also there are some other job is scheduled in the same time . will it create any problem of executing at the sametime or we need to change the timing of 1:15 like that?

i saw that job_priority column in dba_scheduler_jobs table but dont know what it does?
and also how can fetch this job scheduler sid,serial# i checked v$session but how to correlate this ..

In schedulerjobs,there is a column ,client_id.You can map it to the sid from the V$session.I don't have a box running Oracle at the moment so I wont be test it for you.Do it and post feedback.
what will happen if more than one job is scheduled in the sametime
i think for this only we set the priority on the two which one needs to be first exec(depends on the high priority)

Jobs are prioritized by two parts,within the class they are a part of and individualy.If you have two jobs in the same class than they can be make run with a different priority with the priority clause set within them.This has a number which start from 1 meaning highest priority.So if there are two jobs scheduled for the same time,you need to check which job class they fall into. If they are in the same class than you have to change the priority of them.
I suggest you read the books,they cover all these topics in much more detail.

Payment document which gets reversed/cancelled.

Hello to all,
Table REGUP gives the payment doc no. with the line items. But what if the payment is reversed/cancelled. Even then the table is showing that document. I am outputting all the payment docs with respective line items(on which WHT is deducted). If the payment doc is reversed , so i dont want to show that document ? How to use REGUP for not showing the reversal documents.

Hi,
You can use the Field REGUP-BSCHL (posting Key) to differentiate the Reversal/Cancelled document.
other useful fields may be doc type(BLART), Account Type (KOART) and the Credit/Debit Indicator (SHKZG).

Posting type 9 reset and reverse clear

Dear Expert,
In case of bank statement has information that the transaction is cancelled, how can we handle this kind of transaction?
I see in posting rule, there is posting type '9' reset and reverse clear. However when I setup and run it foreground, system will calll tcode FBRA in which we have to fill in FI document number. This FI document can't be identified in the bank statement anyway. The business case may be check bounced, for example.
So how can we setup the posting rule with posting type '9' to cancel the FI document originally posted from the previous transaction?
Please kindly suggest.

Select one of the files, Choose GetInfo from the Finder's File menu, look for the field named "Open With", and choose Preview from the adjacent menu. Accept that ALL such files will Open with Preview, and your major problems should be solved.
Occasionally, a particularly complex .pdf file or one that needs to be modified and re-written will not work quite right with Preview, but such issues are rare.

I need to execute a jar, which needs another jar to be in the classpath.
If I run like
java -classpath <jar1 name> -jar <main jar>
It is giving classnotfoundexception, where as the class is available in the <jar1 name>.
so, currently I am doing like this
In the manifest file i have given like
Main-Class: <class name>
Class-Path: <jar name> <jar name2>
then it is running fine. But, if I want to change the jar location again I need to changed the manifest file.
Is there any way to do this? Pls help me.

How about
java -cp jar1.jar;jar2.jar com.acme.MainClass
You won't need to worry about the manifest file after that and you can make a bat files (or .sh file in *nix) for it.

If you're able to contact the person who set the lock, send them this link and tell them to follow its instructions.
If not, you can't use the device but may be able to get it refunded. Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the original owner(assuming they're alive.)

App-v package which needs Excel + Internet Explorer

I need to package an application (App-V 4.6) on Windows 2008 which need Internet Explorer and Excel.
Please advise howto do this. I packaged the application but when starting the Excel plugin it says it can't find the application itself.

Sequence the application on a machine that has Office on it. Create a shortcut which points to the locally installed Excel. Also create one point to the local IE. When these shortcuts are launched it will launch the users local Excel and IE into the virtual
environment, allowing them to see the virtual plug-ins.
If you did this but opened Excel or IE during the sequence, go back and do it again and don't launch them. Or at least make sure that both have been launched before sequencing so that when you launch during sequencing it's not the first time they have
been launched on that machine (help avoid first run junk getting captured)
