InDesign PDF: brauche dringend Hilfe

Hallo Forum,
ich habe ein Problem. Ich muss ein PDF aus InDesign erstellen für das iPad. Ich möchte das PDF gerne mit 144 dpi erstellen, damit es auch bei Vergrößerung noch gut aussieht.
Nun meine Frage: Welche Einstellungen muss ich verwenden, damit ich ein relativ gut aufgelöstes aber dennoch sehr kleines PDF erzeugen kann? Welcher Zwischenweg wäre zu empfehlen?

Nicht sinnvoll. Das Problem ist, dass Dir die Lieferanten PDFs mit reduzierter Transparenz liefern. Selbst dann, wenn man weiß, dass die Druckerei nur mit reduzierter Transparenz arbeiten kann, so ist es beim Import von Bildern anders, da sollen bei InDesign immer PDFs mit Live-Transparenz verwendet werden. Beim Export hat man dadurch immer die Möglihckeit in alle PDF-Varianten exportieren.
Leider kapieren das viele Verlage nicht, die geben für ihre Anzeigenanforderung explizit das reduzierte PDF an, das die Druckerei anfordert. Aber die Qualität der Import-Dateien muss sinnvollerweise eine andere sein, als letzendlich die Druckerei benötigt. Hier muss es bei vielen Verantwortlichen noch mal Knax im Kopf machen.
Bei Deinem Problem wird das jetzt nichts ändern, aber in der Zukunft sinnvolle PDF-Liefer-Standards erarbeiten. RGB, LiveTransparenz, eventuell Ebenen und dergleichen mehr und nicht PDF/3 mit CMYK oder sonstige Printstandards. Denn Du willst ja die PDFs nicht nur zum Druck verwenden, sondern eben auch für Onlineverteilung. Um CrossMediaPublishing erflogreich ausführen zu können brauchst Du Rich-PDFs. Da kann dann in jede Richtung optimal ausgegeben werden.

ok, hab das Problem selbst gelöst!!! Datei muss vorher als .idml Datei exportiert werden, dann nochmal geöffnet und verpackt. Dann klappts. :-)

Habe zwei Screenshots gemacht...
Es soll der "Zahlungseingang.schnell" gebucht werden....aber es kommt die Fehlermeldung "Regeln für BS 15 und Konto 125000 bei Feld ZFBDT falsch eingestellt"...
Was ist zu tun?

ich hoffe, hier kann mir Jemand helfen: Meine Testlizens von Flash ist gestern ausgelaufen. Heute habe ich mir Flash (CC) gemietet (Jahreslizens, monatl. bezahlt).
Die Kaufabwicklung ist auch komplett fertig. Mein Problem ist: Meine Creative Cloud zeigt mir immernoch an, dass die Testlizens abgelaufen ist und bietet mit an, Flash zu kaufen.
Wenn ich versuche, Flash zu öffnen, will das Programm einen Activation-Key von mir. Ich habe auch schon alles deinstalliert und wieder Re-installiert.Auch meinen Rechner habe ich des öfteren
Neugestartet und mich von meiner Cloud abgemeldet und neu angemeldet. Jetzt weiss ich keinen Rat mehr. Ich sitze schon seit heute mittag an dem Problem und muss dringend mit dem Programm arbeiten.
Mein Betriebssystem ist Win7 (64bit). Hat vielleicht Jemand eine Idee? Vielen Dank schon einmal im Vorraus!! Anna

CC-Versionen habe keine Seriennumer. Wenn Dein Programm wirklich via CC-Application (hast du die CC App wirklich installiert?) installiert hast, dann kann es keine Seriennummer geben.

ich habe ein headset welches ok ist (an einem anderen pc geht es).
habe die soundkarte bei meinem h?ndler schon getauscht mit dem selben ergebniss.
benutze xp sp2 frisch aufgezogen alle treiber sind auf dem neuesten stand.
ich kann aber in der software den flexijack nicht umstellen auf line in/mic das feld ist verdunkelt .hoffe ihr k?nnt mir helfen

Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet. Ich hatte 3 verschiedene Ordner gemacht wo Dateien drinn sind z.B. ein Spiele Ordner. Den wollte ich dann auf den Desktop verschieben dann war er aufeinmal weg. Ich hatte es mit einem anderen Ordner wieder gemacht um zu gucken ob es nur ein Fehler war aber dieser verschwand dann auch. Ich ging zu einem Verwandten und der hatte es mit dem letzten Ordner auch ausprobiert dieser war dann auch weg. Jetzt hab ich nur noch den Internet Browser und den Store in meinem Menü. Wir guckten in den Einstellungen unter Info ob die ganzen Dateien noch drauf sind. Ja sie sind noch drauf aber sie sind nirgenswo aufzufinden. Meine ganzen Apps die von anfang an drauf waren und die ich mir drauf Installiert und sogar meine Gallerie, meine Kamera und meine Eigenen Dateien. Alles ist nicht mehr aufzufinden aber noch auf dem Tablet drauf. Können sie mir sagen wo ich sie wieder finde und meine Spiele, Apps etc. wieder benutzen kann?

Ich habe eine PB Tablet gekaufen für eine Freudin letzte Jahr. Das war eine uberholt Gerat mit nur 2 oder 3 symbolen im Menu.
Ich habe einen normal Tablet wieder gefunden bei Sofware update mit BB Desktop Software und reinstalliert system option.

Flash video game. How to make it playable & put onto website, and Indesign PDF file?

I am making a video game using Adobe Flash 2.0. I need to be able to show what I have through a website (my portfolio) and/or insert it into an interactive Indesign PDF file. The game needs to be able to be played and be used and tested by whoever I send the pdf file to, or whoever is would be view my the site I post it on. I have attempted many different ways to put my game onto my website (cargocollective) and Indesign, but nothing is working! I need help.
For example I need my game to be placed on the website page, and on the pdf document as an image. When it is clicked on I need it to start so people can play the game. I don't know how to do this and I would really love and need to know how! Thanks.

Flash should be able to publish an html page which will provide the web page code needed for embedding the swf. The page it publishes should be sufficient for planting on a server unless you plan to dress it up with other content as well.
As far as incorporating Flash content into a PDF using InDesign goes, you are best to ask questions about using InDesign in the InDesign forum. Here is a link to the Overview page whee you can pick which forum applies best to your situation:

it cannot be done!
The PDF's you create with Designer and InDesign are totally different animals and not comparable against each other.
To edit an interactive PDF you created with InDesign you can either use Acrobat for minor changes or the source file (indd) and InDesign.
To edit a dynamic PDF created with Designer you have to use Designer as even Acrobat won't allow changes.

am i wrong in thinking i can use an indesign pdf on a web page like i do a normal pdf or jpg?
i have had an indesign pdf created by someone, [sorry i dont know what the actual created pdf is called or whether it has a proper name?] and i need to reference it into a web page, and it wont appear. any one any ideas? do i need to write in some special HTML? [can only manage HTML and nothing more spectacular but it works for normal pdfs]

i had this working well on one computer, my machine at work that has IE6 on it. I use the Embed tag and put in a little line about not showing the borders:
this worked beautifully first time.
not i am back on my laptop, mac [Firefox, Safari & Opera] , and my mates as well, PC laptop [Firefox and IE7], but now the HTML page i set up with the embedded pdf in it doesn't work now. oddly enough the self help page i used:

Also doesn't show the embedded pdf which i did see earlier. very confused now. is it my machine? Firefox? all new browsers?

Illustrator PDF saving as an InDesign PDF

Strange... I have CS5. Just recently, when I try to save an AI document as a PDF, it looks like everything works correctly, but the resulting icon on my desktop shows ID (pdf). When I click on it, it says InDesign can not open the document because a plugin is missing or it is open (which it is not). I can go back into Illustrator and open it, and I can open it through Acrobat, but saving again, through either of these programs still gives me a default of an InDesign PDF which in turn will not open by just clicking on it.
Any thoughts as to what may be causing this?

Indesign canot open the PDF file ,however you can place the pdf file in the Indesign which wil not be editable.

Place command is under File>place
also what is happening at your end is the issue of the file association, the default application to open the PDF set on your computer is Adobe Indesign.
once the default application will be changed to Acrobat it will work fine for you.
Please let us know the operating system to know the steps or you can google it.

InDesign PDF Exports not as small as Quark

Anybody know why inDesign PDFs are double the size of Quark's? I choose the smallest file size setting and the PDFs still come out twice the size of Quark's.

Without seeing the comparison files in terms of content, it's very hard to guess what's going on exactly, but there are a few considerations.
(1) Quark does not support PDF creation with ICC color profiles. Those can get rather large if you have multiple CMYK color spaces or a large number of different RGB color spaces, but those profiles are necessary. Being smaller because you are not color-managed is hardly a feature.
(2) InDesign does uses PDF language features that allow fairly intelligent handling of objects within Acrobat when using exported PDF (such as understanding that the fi ligature is really the letter f followed by i for purposes of searching, for example).
You don't mention which version of InDesign you are running, but very dramatic PDF file size improvements were made for InDesign 5 over InDesign 4 and for content with non-overriden graphics on master pages, significant PDF file size improvements for InDesign 6 over InDesign 5.
