Indexing Problem - Character §

Question

Hi!
We are using Oracle Text, but we can't find out, why the character § is never indexed. § is not listed as special character for Oracle Text. Also § is still ignored, even when it's defined as printjoin-character. Besides that, escaping this character with \§ or {§} doesn't work either.
Maybe § serves another special purpose for Oracle Databases? And is there any workaround, how we can tell Oracle Text to index it?

Can you provide a copy and paste showing exactly what you have tried, like the one that I have provided below, showing that what you seem to be describing works on my system?
