Inf.&Warning messages suppressed due to std.CATS being called by custm pgm.

Hi,
We have built a custom z program that will be called CAT2 transaction using batch data processing(BDC).
CAT2 being called  by CALL TRANSACTION ' USING bdcdata  MODE 'N'.
The idea was that facilitate users  to choose multiple employees at a time and  go to directly CATS time entry screen.  No dialog call.   When we call CAT2 by running zprogram,  std.cat program warnings & information messages getting suppressed.
Seeking your ideas is there any way we can run zprgm with out suppressing warning & information messages in std. program.

    Hi Experts,
    During delivery against process order for all SFGs and FGs, we are getting warning message u201CInvalid batch according to selection criteria in batch determinationu201D.
    Following settings maintained for batch determination in process order.
    Condition table for order/material type maintained
    Access sequence maintained for order/material type
    In strategy type above access sequence has been maintained. The common class and sort sequence created for all materials in the plant have also been assigned to this strategy type. In batch split changes allowed box has been checked and quantity proposal maintained as 1.
    In search procedure control maintained for order/material type. Search procedure has been assigned to all process order types and check activated.
    In spite of the above when GR for order is taking place , system is throwing warning message.
    GI of components is being done through backflush and without any warning message.
    Please advise how to ensure proper batch determination during GR against order.

    Issue resolved by removing required indicators from characteristics which were not being valuated but were maintained in the class assigned to SFGs/FGs.

  • Execute Custom code to do a warning message on SSHR Manager Appraisal form

    Hello - I do not know much about Java/OAF, but I'm really trying to learn! Here is my requirement,
    please help me in getting this done.
    Requirement : On Employee appraisal form, they will have their yearly objectives and their weight percentages.
    These objectives weight percentage is in per_appraisal table attribute1 field(DFF).
    The total weight percentage of an employess all objectives should be equal 100.
    When manager will login to give them a final rating, the total of all weights percentages should be equal to 100,
    if not I have to through a warning message on the Manager's appraisal form(CompFinalRatingsCO).
    To calculate the total weight, we can certainly write a small pl/sql function or a procedure.
    But how can I execute that code and show a warning message on SelfService HR Manager Appraisal form?
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Thanks
    - Srini

    1) extend the CO attached to your page.
    2) Capture the Button in Processformrequest of your extended CO.
    3) Call a plsql function or procedure with OUT param which will return whether 100% weightage has been entered or not.
    If Not, then throw warning message.
    Here is the way to call Plsql proc with OUT param.
    String sql =
    "BEGIN bcr12_mapping_tool_procs_pkg.XXBCR12_HAS_MANDATORY(:1,:2); END;";
    OracleCallableStatement cs =
    (OracleCallableStatement)am.getOADBTransaction().createCallableStatement(sql,
    1);
    try {
    cs.registerOutParameter(2, 1, 0, 2000);
    cs.setString(1, int_name);
    cs.execute();
    String new_status = cs.getString(2);
    cs.close();
    if ("Y".equals(new_status.trim())) {
    throw new OAException("Please enter all mandatory column highlighted.",
    (byte)0);
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    throw new OAException(ex.getMessage());

  • How to Suppress a warning message in Reports

    Hi All,
    I am getting REP-32751: Warning: Some text segments are missing warning message when ever i open a report and also while run the report in the browser. I am not able to find the missing text segments. Is there any way to suppress this warning message in oracle reports 10g?. Please let me know.
    Regards,
    Prasad.

    Just was curious and was in Metalink anyways and looked up your Error:
    >
    Another workaround: open the report under the desired NLS_LANG, and OK all the warning messages. Once the report is opened, save it (under a different name). This will fill out missing text segments with blanks,which is OK because these strings never appear in the report anyway (theyshould have been deleted...)

  • Vendor Payment TC F-58/F-53, warning message for selecting NON DUE invoices

    Hi,
    I have scenario with my client, they want that during manual vendor payment against  TC F-58&F-53, if the invoices are not due for payment but if selected by the user during manual payment, is there any configuration by which system will give a warning message to the user saying invoices are not due for payment before saving the document.
    Thanks
    MRS

    You have to find the appropriate "Message Area" and "Message Number" in "Maintain Message Control".
    Add the message into the Message Control and make it as WARNING message.

  • Warning message due to JSPDynpage

    Hi All,
    We have a scenario where in the jspdynpage we have only hyperlinks and One of the hyperlink is pointing to the standard uwl iview as follows
    [http://portalhostname:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fevery_user!2fgeneral!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.iviews!2fcom.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.uwl_iview?sap-config-mode=true|http://portalhostname:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fevery_user!2fgeneral!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.iviews!2fcom.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.uwl_iview?sap-config-mode=true]
    We are on CE7.1 and whenever I click on this hyperlink of jspdynpage, the uwl iview opens but with a warning msg  at the header of the UWL as follows
      "Another administrator is currently customizing this application. If you want to customize, please restart the application later and try again"
    Same UWL iview when I open  thru Home ->Work->UniversalWorklist , it does not show this warning message.
    Is it bcoz of any session object inthe jspdynpage? any pointers will be of great help.
    one note & Observation
    assume that all the users are logout from the portal now any user first logged into the portal then that warnong message is not displayed at the header level of the UWL iView which we are accessing thru the hyper link from the JSPDynpage . but second user onwards any number of users are logged into the portal and click on the hyperlink in the JSPDynpage and it goes to UWL Iview where it is showing the above mentioned warning message at the header level. it is happening the same for the second user, third user and all users consequently but this warning message is not displayed for the very first logged in user.
    Can anybody replys then it would be great help to us . <<text removed>>
    when we access those links directly from the browser it is not giving that above specified  warning message but  this warning message is getting displayed when we access those hyperlinks from JSPDynpage .it seems there is some session related problem or something related to that. pls help.

  • Warning message about CMP problem when launching query - how to suppress?

    Dear Experts
    How can I suppress warning message that did not stop the query from running?
    I encounter this message when 1st launching it. The next run , it does not show. But if user run it  i think may still show. How to suppress it?
    The message is :
    =================
    Characteristic [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou of the MultiProvider is not provided by the PartProvider ZC_00N; this means it is not identified. However, [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou is compounded to 0COMP_CODE and 0COMP_CODE is identified with characteristic Z_I_MM_FM for InfoProvider ZC_006.
    In this case, there is a compounding or CMP problem with [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou in the MultiProvider for PartProvider ZC_006.
    Processing characteristics with CMP problems in the data manager is very complicated and can have a negative impact on performance. The data manager cannot use SIDs for these characteristics (at least not in the corresponding InfoProvider) because the initial SID = 0 for [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou is not the same as the initial compound key for 0COMP_CODE [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou (that is, when real values are posted in ZC_006 for 0COMP_CODE).
    For this reason, hierarchies for [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou must often be read at leaf level. Furthermore, it is not possible to use hierarchy aggregates for [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou or for the remaining InfoProviders.
    System Response
    Where possible, the system tries to avoid negative impacts on performance. Unfortunately, such performance issues cannot be avoided if the correct results are to be displayed.
    Procedure
    When working with important MultiProviders, you should always avoid characteristics with CMP problems.
    ====================
    Please advise how to address CMP problem error message when launching query.
    regards
    Pascal

    Hi Pascal,
    Why dont you select those compounding objects in Multiprovider itself.As far as i understand while activating the MP it throws an error if compounding objects are not selected.
    One more thing to add which i noticed you can try running the query on analyzer if you are running it on RSRT.
    You can see the data even if MP is not active on analyzer but not on RSRT.
    Hope it helps.
