Go in transaction OMF0 and change the condition control as plant level
for all those plants where the info records should be maintained at
plant level. This will solve your problem.

We want to restrict info record mandatory at a plant level out of many plants.
i could make it mandatory and price not editable in the po, but while creating sched agreement it does allow the changing the prices.
    Pl help.

    Hi,
Either goto spro>MM>Procurement>Environment Data>Define attributes of system messages and make 06/341 as Error or Warning, as required.
    Or
Make source list mandatory in material master.
    Or
Source List mandatory at plant in Source List config.
    Or
Remove the pricing condition PBXX from your prcing that means you will have only PB00 (Gross price) condition in your PO which is determine the gross price from Info or contract or SA or RFQ but can't allow user to enter the price at PO level w/o any source document
    Or
    Customer exit MM06E005-EXIT_SAPMM06E_012

  • Info Record Update at Quotation level

    Dear All,
I want to update purchasing info record at the time of quotation maintenance. The field 'Info update' is available to update the same. For that system gives 4 options.
' ' The info record is not updated.
'A' If an info record exists at plant level, it is updated. Otherwise an info record at purchasing organization level is updated.
'B' If plant conditions are allowed for the plant, an info record at plant level is updated.
'C' If plant conditions are not necessary for the plant, an info record at purchasing organization level is updated.
Is it possible to default value 'A' for info update field during quotation maintenance?
    Nikhil Ankalikar

you can use default value for buyer option in img there u can give the default value and it will be helpful in achiving your requirement

  • QI Info record created after PO....

    Dear ALl,
QI info record created after PO for the material. SO i wan to know whether system will give error in this case?
    Regards,
    Kaushal Rai

    Dear Shyamal,
There is no ponit of date. Its correct that PO will not be created for that material which is having procurement key active.
PO created before or after QI record doesn't matter. Only thing QI info record should be there at the time of creation of PO.
But i don't know why in PO still I am getting the same error even after creation QI record. Material, Vendor, Plant, PR all are same.

  • Creating of incoming invoice automatically when documen info record created

    Hi all,
I apologize because I am asking many questions on this forum during the last few weeks, but I have some problems which I can't solve by myself in one project.
So, this time the question is about incoming invoices.
    Here is the situation:
When our customer receives incoming invoice (in paper form) we scan it and send it to one Document management system. In that system we verify the invoice and approve it. After that step the document is released to SAP (only the document info record is created and that info record points to the original document (pdf file) in that DMS).
    Now the question is:
Is it possible to automatically create incoming invoice (parked) when the document is released to SAP (it+s document info record created) and to create link between these two SAP objects? Basically it means that at the moment when doc. info record is created, the incoming invoice is created (only with mandatory data) and saved (parked).
We need this functionality because our client wants to have the access to original document (pdf file) when he is about to finish the incoming invoice.
So, is it possible to set up some parameters so that incoming invoice is created automatically after the document info record is created, and linked to that document info record?

I was not aware that u have already done coding to create DIR in SAP. In that case u don't need to rely on status triggering, u may create the invoice prior to  DIR creation and then link it to the DIR.It can be done in the way u have mentioned. I.e. linking at the time of DIR with BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE.
I doubt we have any direct link to Incoming Invoice from DIR. One of the options i can think of is linking DIR to EKPO(Purchase Order Item) which is mentioned in Invoice.
Else u may need to add another object with object table "RBKP"
Following link will help u in creating new Object for development of new screens [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/c1/1c31a243c711d1893e0000e8323c4f/frameset.htm]
BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 is  the latest BAPI instead of BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE.
    Points Appreciated.

  • Can we create 2 inspection lots at the time of goods receipt.

    Hi experts,
Can we create two inspection lots at the time of goods receipt from vendor.I will assign two inspection types in material master
suppose 01,02.Both are releated to goods receipt. For one inspection lot when we take usage decision stock should not post into usage decision.for other inspection lot stock has to be posted. Is this possible?if possible how to do configuration?

I think I made this recommendation in a previous post concerning this but this is exactly what reference operation sets are created for.
Create the reference operation set for the characteristics that are used for all the materials.  You create this once.
When you create the sepcific plan for the individual materials, you include the reference operation as one of the operations, (probably the first one in your case).  You don't have to add characteristics, modify or change it.  All the characeristics and settings come from the reference operation.  If you need to make a change you edit the reference operation and make the change once.   The change is immediately seen in all newly created inspection lots.
In a second operation of the plan, you add the characteristics specific to the material.
You can add different workcenters to the operations if you want.  That way you can set up security on the workcenters and control who can record results against which operations.
Aside from creating lots manually, you can't create two lots at the same time from the same GR.

  • Creating a Standard Info Record for multiple plants

We did some clean up in info records the other day and marked some old/incomplete info records for deletion down at the PO organizational data level (EINE).  This went fine; however, now when we go to create another info record using the same info record number (because material and vendor is the same), but for a different plant (will be a separate entry in the EINE table), SAP automatically marks it for deletion because the previous entry is marked for deletion.
The one consistent thing I have noticed is that the old incomplete info record originally marked for deletion had a purchasing document attached to it.  The document along with document date carried through the additional info records we tried to create for different plants.
Can someone tell me the reason this happens?  Also, what can we do to prevent this?  I would think you could have an info record marked for deletion in plant 1,  and have a valid one for plant 2??

This is a program bug, please see OSS  Note 742405 - Creating purchasing info record with deletion indicator

  • Info record created in automatic?

    Hello gúrus,
    I need your help again.
In the part of the customizign "Default values for Purchasing" the field "Info record updated" to the purchase order is in blank, because of we don't want to create the info record in automatic.
But, when we are creating a purchase order, the info record is created in automatic.
Do you know in which part of the customizing we need to inactive something in order to not create the info record in automatic?
Thanks in advance and I will wait your answer a.s.a.p.
    Regards,
    Sandra Palomo

even if system is using the info update indicator to create info record then u should not worry about that because  actually system is not genrating the info record it is just storing the price of po as .......price of last purcahsing document
what i mean to say is as the po conditions are time independent conditions
and in info record anly time dependent conditions are stored
now to cross check what i have said u create a po (for whch u have not created the info record manually using me11)
now as u r saying system is creating a ino record automatically . now go to me12 and give vendor ,material plant,purch.org.   and see in condition page what is the price
i will say it will be  0 (zero)      so ultimatliy there is no info record and it will not affect any business scenerio of yours
if u do not agree with my point then please let me know

  • Info records from one plant to other....urgent

    Hello all,
I have to move data from one plant in SAP to another.I have to transfer all the info records, i know i can do this by LSMW but can someone please tell me how do i make flat files for this, i mean what is the procedure for getting data of all info records out of one plant as flat file and into other plant..
    Please reply asap..
    Regards
    Neha

    Hi Neha...
One of the option is, u need to get the data of relevent fields that u want to upload through LSMW, as u said u have the data already existing for one plant, so download the data from EINE table into an excel sheet and modifythe excel sheet as per the new plant data.
now save this excel sheet into a .txt file and upload through lsmw

  • Planning a materail at plant level and the MRP Area

    Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to plan the same material at the plant level and  at the MRP area level ( Storage location MRP)?. If so please provide the steps how this needs to be set-up. what will the implications on the MRP.
    Thanks!
    Nagesh.

    Hi,
Inventory can be valuated at two levels either at company code level or at plant level. If you select valuation at company code level, all materials across all the plants will have same material price since valuation is at only company code level.
Say for example Company code 1000 is buying a material which unit price is Rs. 10 from a vendor who supplies to two different plant A & B of company code 1000.  Assume Plant A is situated near vendor premises itself (so freight cost is Re 1 extra)  whereas plant B is situated at far away from vendor place (so freight cost rs 2 extra) and both cases freight cost is borne by the company and not by vendor.
Assuming you have selected valuation at plant level, now in plant A same material will be valauted at Rs. 11 (10 +1) whereas at plant B it is valuated at Rs. 12 (10+2).
Whereas if you have selected valuation at company code level, price will not be valuated at plant level rather at company code level which will get updated at moving average price in this case.
So it is always best practice to select valuation at plant level rather than at company code level.

  • Create an app for update the time zone info

    Hello,
I would like to create an app for update the zone info region of the iphone, because all the zone are not updated with the last version of DST (Daylight Saving time), for example in my country (Chile) the zone info file is different beetween the official website (IANA.org) and the current firmware of the iphone.
    My question :
What is the posibility for an app to modify the content of the zones ? (here : /private/var/stash/usr/share/zoneinfo/)
it's legal to submit an app with this customization ?
thank you very much for your help.
    Gilles

    ok !! so it's a technical problem ...
sorry for the question, i have only an iphone with jailbreak and i can manipulate all the file, I thought there was the same posibility for an official app without rooting.
    thank Michael.

  • How to create index not unique at the time of the CREATE TABLE

    Hi,
I am trying to find out how in Oracle create secondary indexes that can accept duplicated into the CREATE TABLE statement, without have to execute a CREATE INDEX separately.
As far I can see the only syntax accepted by Oracle 9i to create more than one index at the time of the table creation is:
    CREATE TABLE test_tab (x INTEGER, y INTEGER, z INTEGER PRIMARY KEY(x,y), UNIQUE(z))
But, in my case I need to have the unicity only for the primary key, but not for the second index, that I would like to have not unique.
How to do that inside of the CREATE TABLE statement?
    Any help?
    Thanks a lot in advance.

To create an index automatically (not constraint related) , you will need to have an 'event' trigger on the schema that will (IE: detecting a table create/drop matching ARCHIVE_%) , generate the appropriate SQL required (create index sql) and pass THAT to a DBMS_JOB.
Make sure you have job queue's enabled.
This was the ONLY way that I could re-create a view automatically as new tables were created that matched a criteria IE ARCHIVE_JAN06, ARCHIVE_FEB06 etc.
The application's "archiving" method created and was thus aware of these tables and permitted searching within 'archived' data, but 3rd party reporting applications needed to see a view encompassing all data, regardless of the tables involved. The view automatically created was a 'union_all' of all tables concerned.

  • How to create an object alive all the time on a server side

    Hi,
I work on an Intranet with J2EE technologies. I need an object to do several tasks in background on the server side. Like start scheduled processes on a database and files, stocked on the server. What is the way to do this. I thought to use the JNDI by declaring the object in the Deployement Descriptor, and to manage a timer within.
I don't know if this works.
Anyway, my question is how to create an object on the server that is ALIVE ALL THE TIME and visible by the other objects running in the same VM.
    Thank's.

This may not be the correct design, but I had success doing the following:
    1. Create an Stateless EJB that does a task, i.e. update a database table.
    2. Create a subclass of java.util.TimerTask to call the EJB methods.
    3. Kick off the TimerTask from a servlet.init method.
Seems to work pretty well to do scheduled tasks, such as refreshing lookup tables. I would imagine the same could be done with an MBean, but I haven't had time to fully understand JMX yet. (It's on the list).
As for event driven procedures, that can be done through a servlet interface.
You may also wish to review a scheduler here: http://www.part.net/quartz.html. Note, I have NOT even looked at it yet, so I have no clue if it's any good. But, it is on my list of tools to evaluate (that's a long list) someday when my head's above water. Have a look, and caveat emptor.
    Hope this helps,
    Perry Tew
