Inforecord in APO inbound Q again and again !

Even after excluding the info record and the associated materials and locations from all the integration models, the inbound Q error points to the same info record in all intergration model activation (one by one in desired order and also in background all models). I have even flagged for deletion, the inforec in ECC. What could the likely issue. I have even deleted the corr. ext procurement relationship in APO.
Some pointers would be appreciated.
what does the inforec log say: source and desination location same.
what did i do > excluded the material and the locations and the inforec#  from corr. # named models as only the inofrec exclusion did not solve this error.
Regards,
Lok

Loknath,
Are you getting a failed inforecord queue, or are you getting a failed purchase order queue?
I hope you are aware that just inactivating a CIF model won't delete any data that already exists in SCM.  Depending on the type of queue that you have failing, the 'bad' master data may already exist in SCM, and that is what is creating your error.
An important thing to remember is that you have to be very structured in your troubleshooting.  Each time you try something new, you must clear all errored queues first.  Otherwise, you may end up looking at an error that had been generated from the previous experiment, and assume that the current experiment had generated the error.

  • Error in SAP APO Inbound: capacity requirement is invalid

    Hi Experts
I am getting an error in APO Inbound in APO queue manager. The error text reads " Capacity requirement is invalid".
I checked for all the resources whether they have validity and also checked for mismatching control key. But these fields are allright in both ECC and APO system.
I checked note # 924562, but i am still not able to solve this issue.
Can you please suggest how should i debug this error?
    Many Thanks!!
    Regards
    Mansi

    Hi Mansi,
Were you able to replicate the issue on which activity triggers this CIF error?
I remember a similar error which happened when converting planned order to production order where it was giving error"“Bucket capacity requirement has an invalid value” .
SAP had suggested to implement note 1381483 to fix this.
    Thanks

  • SAP System inconsistency for Inbound delivery / MIGO and a "sap note"

    Hello Friends ,
After following SAP instruction on how to remove the inconsistency between posting GR through MIGO (Inv. mang.) and the reflection of the goods movement status in the inbound delivery document - done that using sap note 570991
the problem is that the system start behaving in a weird way throwing unjustified Error messages for any suggested goods receipt using MIGO with reference to inbound
for example after creating an inbound delivery document and trying to post it via migo , an error will pop up
    - Inbound delivery storage location cannot be changed to here Message no. VLA316
the thing is i didn't even maintain any storage location entry up to that point and yet i cannot post any stock !!
    also another error  like
    - Inbound delivery batch cannot be changed to *** here
which doesn't make any sense because there is not batches in the inbound document !!
i think this behavior is coming from the "Document Flow Update for Stock Postings" inbound  indicator  at the shipping parameter at client level customization
i need help on  how to overcome this annoying SAP Bug/Problem specially i am in a post go live critical situation

    Hi,
The messages you mentioned were introduced to avoid inconsistency between inbound delivery and IM, through the note:  1050944 - GR for inbound delivery using inventory mgmt as of ECC 6.00
If the messages are issued incorrectly, then you may check for SAP notes (I couldnt find anything relevant) or raise an OSS ticket to SAP.

  • APO Livecache DB Backup and Livecache Auto Log Backup

    Hi Guys,
Could you please help me here which tranaction code we use to  check APO Livecache DB Backup and Livecache Auto Log Backup
    Thank you

    Hi,
Livecache DB and log back up looks like can not be accessed from SAP. Database Manager GUI is used.
Please check the below link for helpful information.

  • Link between Inbound Idoc No and Shipment No

Can anyone tell me in which transparent table the link between the Inbound Idoc number and Shipment number are stored ?
or is any function module in which the Shipment number is imported and the Idoc number is exported ?
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards.

    Hi Deepa,
Please reward and close your other related post. Now here is the answer for this.
As I mentioned in response to your previous post, this is stored in the status records of the IDoc. So you need to go to table EDIDS with your IDoc number and STATUS = 53(Application Document Posted). Read teh value in the field 'STATXT'. If there are any & they should be replaced by 'STAPA1', 'STAPA2', 'STAPA3' and 'STAPA4' depending on how many '&' you have.
One of these 4 parameters will be your shipment number, typically it will be STAPA1.
Let me know how it goes.

  • Which table stored the Inbound ASN IDOC # and corresponding In.B Delivery#

    Hi,
May i know which table stored the inbound ASN IDOC# and corresponding created Inbound Delivery number??
    Thanks!!

    Dear Hoo Laa,
You may find the Sales Organisation/Distribution Channel details in PO itself (Shipping Tab). Table where you can get Sales Organisation/Disribution Channel is EKPV.

  • Inbound email receiving and processing: push and pull

    Hi Experts
i know there are 2 alternative ways to configure the inbound email receiving and processing: push and pull
    (see also /people/cathy.ma/blog/2009/06/23/introduction-to-the-interaction-center-agent-inbox)
My question is: what if i configured the email in push and, at the end of day, some emails are not already read by the Contact Center Operator ?
The day after will the agent see those unread email in the push queue, or in pull in the Agent Inbox (thus transforming them into work item) ?
Those emails are not lost. True?
Maybe it is a simplistic question
    thanks for the support
    Angelo T.

    Hello Angelo,
No, actually. ICI interface "push" emails are handled just like a telephone call. You would never leave a telephone call sitting in the queue at the end of the day, and its the same with ICI emails. The key here is that ICI is real time!  This is quite a different approach than the SAPConnect interface which uses workflow to route the emails to an Inbox (virtual queue). In the Inbox case, of course an agent would see lots of emails sitting in the queue the next day. Hope that helps!

    John

  • Business Content Extractors for Inbound Deliveries (again!!!)

    Dear all,
although we had the same question already in january, but as there was no solution at all, I have to ask the question how I'm able to extract <b>in</b>bound deliveries to BW. They are stored in LIKP/LIPS, but somehow the standard extractor 2LIS_12_* filter the corresponding document types.
    Thanks for your help,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
Have you tried by using R/3 LIS Structures (those named SXXX). You can try checking if you have anyone that is useful or you can create a new one and see in R/3 if it gets the information you need. Maybe you'll need help of an SD consultant. The transaction used to create those structures is MC21.
Then you will need to create the datasource by using transaction LBW0.
    Hope this helps.

  • Inbound delivery agains service sales order

    Dear All,
i am raising service order in my client business but for this sales order i need to take some materials from the customer it is opposit to sub contracting in mm
please let me know how can i map this scenario
    Thanks n regards
    Siri

    Hi Kimberly,
In these type of scenario, generally company maintain the two plants.
One for delivery and second for receipt the goods from customer (Which are coming for servicing or maintenance).
I think you are directly go to VL01n and enter the shipping point, date and order, when you enter then system shows you this error.
    Do one thing,
Go to VA02 --> Enter your order number --> Enter --> On overview screen --> Click at "Sales document" (Menu) --> Click at "deliver"
it will directly take you the delivery overview screen.
Please try and revert back with your findings.

  • Custom Lync reporting to get inbound number list and call duration

    Hi Guys,
I know this is going to be complex but surely a Lync SQL expert can assist here.
I would like to create a custom report of all inbound call received over a period of time with the call duration. The default reports does not have features to narrow down based on calling numbers. Is there any way that I can get a big extract for all the
calls received by the firm and later I can use vlook up etc to get what I want.
I am not good with sql but this I think
https://northernlync.wordpress.com/2014/03/10/lync-2013-creating-custom-lync-reports-within-monitoring/  will do the trick. Has any one tried it?
    Any suggestions?
    aman sahni

    Hi,
Base on my knowledge, you can custom Lync Call Details Reports with the help of the link you provided above.
The first step to creating a custom call details report for use with the pre-existing Lync Server Monitoring Service Reports is to establish a secure connection to the SQL Server and LcsCdr database objects that will be used as data sources for any new reports.
Next, access will be provided to the user-defined database objects that reside in the LcsCDR database. Once the data is accessible, then it is time to present it by using the SQL Server Report tool.
More details, it is for Lync Server 2010, but similar for Lync Server 2013:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/nexthop/archive/2012/01/12/how-to-create-additional-lync-server-2010-call-details-reports-part-2.aspx

  • Automating Cash Journal Posting using inbound proxy interface and upload program

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where in cash journal posting needs to be carried out automatically by an inbound interface on a periodic basis and at the start during cut over an upload program needs to be used to upload beg balance data . For this purpose I have used BAPI_CASHJOURNALDOC_CREATE to save cash journal entries along with BAPI TRANSACTION COMMIT.
Once the Data is successfully saved I am using FM FCJ_GET_DATA_FOR_SCREEN to get prerequisite data for the FM FCJ_POST_ALL which is used by the Standard cash journal program internally to post the saved data. ( I got this by debugging the standard transaction and both FMs are not yet released )
The issues I am facing is that the the FM FCJ_POST_ALL does not always post the data it behaves in random fashion i.e some times it posts the entries where as sometimes it does not post the entries.
I have tried using commit work after the FM but that also does not result in consistent behavior of the program. One more issue is the i am not allowed to use commit work in a an inbound proxy so how do i proceed ?

  • IDoc type "DELVRY03" for INBOUND delivery confirmation and Outbound Deliver

    Hi ,
We have a requirement where we have to send Inbound delivery confirmation as well as outbound delivery notification to our same customer. (3PL case)
We have a EDI partner who is receiving our messages and transforming them before sending it to customer.
Now my problem is , since I am using same idoc type (DELVRY03) for both cases therefore wondering how my EDI partner will differentiate whether received message is a INBOUND delivery confirmation or OUTBound delivery notification.
    regards
    Shrey

    Thx for your reply ...
Wondering about the impacts , if I create a new message type like ZDESADV and attach it to DELVRY03.
In this i could have two message types DESADV and ZDESADV.
    Will it impact anywhere ?
    Regards
    Shrey

  • Not able to cif transiton data from APO to R/3 and from R/3 to APO

    Hi:
I have made all relevant setting as per required for configuration of cif architecture in R/3 and in APO.I am able to cif master data from R/3 to APO but when I am transferring Planned Order from APO to R/3 or Sales Order from R/3 to APO I am not able to tranfer it .Even I am not getting any blocked q.
Even I am able to access remote login to both system by RFC Connection.
Please let me know how to debug it and solve it.
    With Regards
    Ashish Gupta

    Hi Ashish,
Please try ciffing only one transactional data and then check on the application logs using t-code CFM1 or SLG1 in R/3 and /n/sapapo/c3 & slg1 in APO.  This will give you idea where is going on wrong.
    Kindly confirm

  • SAP SCM and SAP APO: Best practices, tips and recommendations

    Hi,
I have been gathering useful information about SAP SCM and SAP APO (e.g., advanced supply chain planning, master data and transaction data for advanced planning, demand planning, cross-plant planning, production planning and detailed scheduling, deployment, global available-to-promise (global ATP), CIF (core interface), SAP APO DP planning tools (macros, statistical forecasting, lifecycle planning, data realignment, data upload into the planning area, mass processing u2013 background jobs, process chains, aggregation and disaggregation), and PP/DS heuristics for production planning).
I am especially interested about best practices, tips and recommendations for using and developing SAP SCM and SAP APO. For example, [CIF Tips and Tricks Version 3.1.1|https://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700006480652001E] and [CIF Tips and Tricks Version 4.0|https://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700000596412005E] contain pretty useful knowledge about CIF.
If you know any useful best practices, tips and recommendations for using and developing SAP SCM and SAP APO, I would appreciate if you could share those assets with me.
Thanks in advance of your help.
    Regards,
    Jarmo Tuominen

    Hi Jarmo,
Apart from what DB has suggested. you should give a good reading on the following.
-Consulting Notes (use the application component filters in search notes)
-Collective Notes (similar to the one above)
    -Release Notes
    -Release Restrictions
-If $$ permit subscribe to www.scmexpertonline.com. Good perspective on concepts around SAP SCM.
-There are a couple of blogs (e.g. www.apolemia.com) .. but all lack breadth.. some topics in depth.
-"Articles" section on this site (not all are classified well.. see in ECCops, mfg, SCM, Logistics etc)
-Serivce.sap.com- check the solution details overview in knowledge exchange tab. There are product presentations and collaterals for every release. Good breadth but no depth.
-Building Blocks - available for all application areas. This is limited to vanilla configuration of just making a process work and nothing more than that.
-Get the book "Sales and Operations Planning with SAP APO" by SAP Press. Its got plenty of  easy to follow stuff, good perspective and lots of screen shots to make life easier.
-help.sap.com the last thing that most refer after all "handy" options (incl. this forum) are exhausted. Nevertheless, this is the superset of all "secondary" documents. But the maze of hyperlinks that start at APO might lead you to something like xml schema.
Key Tip: Appreciate that SAP SCM is largely driven by connected execution systems (SAP ECC/ERP). So the best place to start with should be a good overview of ERP OPS solution overview, at least at the significant level of depth.). Check this document at sdn wiki "ERP ops architecture overview".
I have some good collection of documents though many i havent read myself. If you need them let me know.
    Regards,
    Loknath

  • Fixing APO time parameters -Chaotic and jumbled

    Hi experts,
When i  start configuring  i could see there is a prevailing confusion in me for a long long  time ,,a messed up perception  regarding time related parameters in both ECC and SCM ,and few other things too ,would you please help out in clearing the confusion once and for all, please correct me if I am wrong in the last column
    Time entity
    Guess work
Apart from this fields  Where are are the other  places .do I fix?
    Planning horizon (ECC)
In MD61 screen ,in the just above bottom of screen “from”  to “ to”
    In MRP parameters ,SPRO
    In plant Parameters
    SNP horizon
    In SNP2 tab of MAT1
    PPDS horizon
In PPDS tab of MATI and also in t code where you fix the model/version 000
Planning period (bucket) for SNP --,I want to fix as  1 week.
    No idea
    Where to fix it?
Planning period(bucket) for PPDS 6 shifts ie 2 days .Where do I fix this 2.
Guess it is in Create model /version screen   I guess
    Where to fix it ?
    Time bucket profile
Is there anything like SNP time bucket profile and PPDS time bucket profile ,is it that I need to make a definition in TR32 individually for SNP and PPDS separately just like SNP PPM and PPDS PPM ,
    Storage bucket profile
This suggests the longevity of planning results to stay in the system -after the stated time has elapsed  planning datas become defunct,it has no relevance with planning period of SNP or PPDS
How to update the resources in APO,
    No idea
SNP horizon ends with beginning of PPDS horizon or the fag end of PPDS horizon
Guess PPDS horizon is a horizon within a horizon
Difference between SNP PPM and PPDS PPM
    No idea
Difference between single activity and multi activity resources in RES01
single activity means Single operation in a resource pool.like drilling alone or maching alone
multi mixed means Multiple operation in a resource pool like both drilling and maching
please clear my messed up perception..
    thanks

For instance, I would be more likely to answer questions posted by someone who was actually in need, as opposed to ""someone who thought this whole forum was just a game to be used to fritter away idle time.""
DB  on an average I am getting 3 calls per day   requesting to work in APO from big names,i am not trying to eulogise you and your special skills in APO  ,but it is fact all these good things are happening because of you and my other friend maclean,I had been sincerely following both of you advice
While as novice your suggestions and ,advice i took it seriously and worked on it ,and it is working towards my favor now.you will not believe me some clients are pleading with air tickets asking to come over there to client site and set right the APO turbulence and make it smooth.
I am not Intelligent but I do have common sense ,and you SDN SAP guys are intelligent and have APO sense;  so with my common sense and your APO sense we can make wonders .
i still remember  some years back kirkwood made a point blank -sharp talk- advising me " leave your egos at the door and start doing your homework "  i took it seriously and am comfortable working with APO now despite being a non -expert-,
may be i am a  bit playful in this forum making quirky comments,(in your parlance  you call it as 'game' rite)
but DB have you seen me being playful or gamy with you  or maclean.,?? sometimes while on "uppers"  like caffeine i do play some game on this forum --agreed -but even at that point I will be careful not to game with serious professionals  maclean or DB, not out of fear but i have this likeness for people with substance ,sans human pettiness
so the moral of  the story is " Together we can make wonders ,Individually we make blunders"
