Information Button in BI report

Hi All,
I am executing a BI report from portal. The 'Information' button on the top of the BI report is opening the required query information and query documentation in a separate dialog box.
Could any one tell me, how can I make the information appear in the same screen instead of opening a pop up dialog. I want it to work similar to the "Filter" and "Settings" links. How can we restrict the pop up dialog and make the information appear in the same screen itself?

Thanks for the response. I am working on the web templates in WAD. I wanted to know what would be exact change that should be done to achieve the requirement.
I tried several options, but could not find the solution. The action on the click of Information button is handled by a command "OPEN_TEMPLATE_DIALOG" which opens a modal dialog to show the query information and query documentation in a pop up.
Can any one tell me there is any other command which does not open and pop up, but instead show the data in the same screen itself. Or is there any other approach to achieve this?

EXPLANATION
In this program, first we created a PF status (ZSOM_STANDARD), which was an exact copy of STANDARD of program SAPLSALV through transaction SE41 (Menu Painter). Then we added another button to it,with a new fcode called CHNG. After this this we set this PF status instead of STANADRD.
We initialize a third event USER_COMMAND and associate a form with it. In this form we can capture the function codes and write any functionality under it. If we write functionality for an existing fcode, then this gets precedence over the default functionality that might be associated with it.
In this example, we capture a standard fcode &IC1 that is nothing but double clicking a line of the report. We are capturing the notification number of that line and calling transaction IW52 with it. We are also doing the same when a user clicks on the new Change Notification button.
When the user clicks the Back button in IW52, it comes back to the report.

Add a Print button to a Report Page

I'm trying to add a Print button to a report page to render the page in printer-friendly mode and then give the user the option to send to a printer. I started with just trying to add a print button. I added a button to the region and added to the button request value javascript:window.print();. When I click on the print button, nothing happens. So I tried to add some html code:

as a condition in Expression 1 when I selected "Current page is NOT in Printer Friendly mode". Nothing happens when I click on the print button. Can anyone offer some steps to create this functionality or point me to documentation on how to do this? I have tried the help documentation within APEX and isn't clear to me.

The documentation wasn't very clear to me. I did try one suggestion to create a region on the report page and call it Print. The suggestion is then to add the following code to the Source Region section:

The example however leaves out some significant information however. What is the region created as e.g. HTML, Report, Form, URL, etc?

CRviewer do not show anything when click button to show report with VS2013

When i press F5 to run project make Code of radiobutton not work(Disable,Enable OtherControl such as textbox)
And when i try press CallReportButton CRviewer do not show anything.
When I brought CRviewer leaving the page ,Code of Radiobutton were working fine.

I think you're over-complicating things. I'd like you to have a look at a few sample apps, see how they work, then adjust your app. Samples are here:

The report RQAAAS10 has the documentation and because of that documentation, the information button is coming on the QA07.
To copy this documentation:
Go to SE63
R3 Objects > Long Texts
Select the L5 > RE ( Reports, Function Groups, Logical Databases) node form the popup
Enter Report RQAAAS10
Select your languages and press Edit.
Select the Fullscreen Button.
Form the Fullscreen.. Text > Download.
Now, in your program upload this documentation.
By selecting the Text > Upload in the documentation section.

Control User Specific button in ALV report

Can anybody please suggest me how to control "USER SPECIFIC" button in ALV report layout using authorization object. I mean if you can tell me which authorization object is responsible to control the "USER SPECIFIC" button.

normally the restrictions for saving layouts/display variants are done at 2 levels:
1) The developer of an ALV list first predetermines the authorization in the 'i_save' parameter within the code.
I_SAVE = ' '     -
layouts cannot be saved
I_SAVE = 'A'   -
user-specific and cross-user layouts can be saved
I_SAVE = 'X'   --- cross-user layouts can be saved
I_SAVE = 'U' --- user-specific layouts can be saved
2) The second level comes to us restriciting the S_ALV_LAYO which gives access to users to save global layouts if I_SAVE for that particular transaction is A or X.
for example, a report has I_SAVE= 'A', which means
it will allow to save User-specific layouts without any restrictions.
and if user has S_ALV_LAYO then he can save both User-Specific and Global Layouts(variants).
it would be better to keep this object separate.

How to give push button in alv report output

my requirement is that , i have to give push button in alv report output(item level) not in application toolbar, i am using reuse_alv_grid_display FM, can any body provide me sample code

In the ReportDocument.Load method it tries to connect using the using the connection information embedded in the Report File. When the application calls ReportDocument.Load(reportFileName). This
tries to connect to the database using the connection information embedded in
the "reportFileName". This was only realised on checking the ODBC Trace
Log. The connection itself is not a problem. The problem is that the embedded
connection information is related to OLD production system. And failed
connections had raised some concerns.
Note: I am using
SetDataSource to populate the data for the report. So I don't need the
connection.
Is there any way I
can disable this auto-connect?

is it a NETWORK issue or issue with DATABASE SERVER only?

DBLINK only contains username, password & TNS Alias.
