Initial Load is not starting

Hi,
On target , in accounts table there are three additional columns namely ,
S_JOB_ID NUMBER(19)
S_REPLICATED_DATE DATE
S_EXTRACT_IND NUMBER(5)
Out of this , S_JOB_ID should have null value. the value will be inserted by ETL later on. This is our business requirment.
I tried two options
COLMAP ( USEDEFAULTS , S_JOB_ID = ' ',
and
COLMAP ( USEDEFAULTS , S_JOB_ID = NULL,
but none of them worked.
Please help me.
Thanks,
Kamlesh

Well, an empty string is similar to null in some ways, but technically, an empty string is not null, so don't go with that approach.
Workaround - If you ignore that column and just try to update the other two (i.e., your target table does not have the S_JOB_ID column), does the initial load work? If so, you can alter the target table afterwards, add the column, default value is null.
Can you post your parameter files?

  • GRC-IDM initial load job not enriching one system's privs

    Hi GRC Experts,
We have integrated IDM 7.1 and GRC 5.3 and tested provisioning to one target system in DEV; this worked perfectly; when testing a similar configuration in Quality, we were setting up the system, and had to run the IDM-GRC Initial Load job in order to enrich the imported privileges for use with GRC AC 5.3; in the Quality system, instead of just connecting to 1 target system, we have connected to 5 ABAP systemes, ECC, PI, POSDM, BW & SRM; for some strange reason when performing the GRC-IDM Initial load job 4 of the target system's privileges get enriched, while the ECC system's privileges aren't getting enriched; I would say through random sampling all ECC profiles are getting enriched but none of the ECC privileges are getting enriched; why could this be happening? we've tried running the ECC Initial Load job  and then the GRC-IDM initial load job about 8-10 times but with no luck; the set of privileges we're investigating are still not enriched; we also ran the GRC CUP role load job, also selecting the option to over-write all existing roles in the system; via this method the CUP roles have been refreshed twice so far, but running the GRC-IDM initial load job even after refreshing the ECC system's privileges in CUP has had no effect whatsoever, all ECC privileges are still left to be enriched, but strangely enough the ECC Profiles have been enriched.
Any clues as to why this could be happening? We've checked and re-checked and there is no filtering or delta being applied to any of the passes, so it really makes no sense. Is there something we should be doing apart from what we've already done? Would greatly appreciate your help with this!
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Best regards,
    Sandeep

What you could do is simply add the attributes by a background job to the privileges. This works fine in most cases. You need to be sure that GRC knows the role and then it is fine. The load only adds those 2 privileges and does nothing of any deeper complexity.
    MX_AC_ROLEID = <rolename>

It is starting again from start not from point of failure. I tried restarting load plan from ODI studio also from load plan & scanarios too but it again started from start not from point of failure.
Can someone explain how to use ODI start from point of failure feature in OBIA.

FWIW, and for your future understanding, you didn't actually have to *start* the database with the pfile in order to create the spfile.

    Hi!

I dont know if this means anything or not - but I just opened

  • Graphite Slot loading imac not starting

    Hi,
I was given a Graphite imac and told it did not work and did not have a hard drive. I also purchased a second logic board, hard drive, and optical drive. Pressing the front panel power switch causes a small green led near the DIMM slots to light up for less than a second, and I hear a CRT turn on crackle, then nothing more happens. swapping logic boards does not change things. Having a clock battery in or out does not seem to matter. Any suggestions on what I should try next would be appreciated.
    Thanks Mark

    Hey Mark,
Here's the section on the battery:
"Troubleshooting Logic Board Battery - 14
    Logic Board Battery
    Important:
Apple highly recommends removing the battery when
handling the logic board. Make sure to use proper ESD protection
    when handling modules.
The battery on the logic board controls the stored system settings,
such as date and time. It is only necessary to test the battery when
you can’t power on the computer, or the date and time are reset
every time the AC power is removed.
The battery is also used to power the PMU chip (because the PMU
chip keeps time and must always be running) when the computer
is unplugged from the wall (AC power). The PMU is
    very
    sensitive
and touching any circuitry that is connected to the PMU can cause
it to crash. If the PMU crashes, the battery life goes from about
five years to about two days if the PMU is not reset. Once the battery
goes dead, the PMU will reset the time and date to 12:00 AM
1/1/04 every time the AC power is removed. To fix this situation,
replace the battery and reset the PMU (refer to “Resetting
the PMU on the Logic Board” mentioned earlier in this chapter).
If the computer has a “No Power” situation, check the battery
before replacing modules. When checking the battery, make sure
the computer is unplugged. Measure the voltage across the battery’s
BT1 positive and ground terminals. The battery should read
3.3 volts to 3.7 volts. If it’s lower than 3.2 volts, replace the
battery and reset the PMU chip."
In my experience they're either over 3.3 volts, completely dead or a few tenths of a volt.
I have seen "PAV" in the discussion forums, does that refer to the small power >supply board coupled to the main logic board, on the same plane?
No that's the "down converter" It takes power from the PAV and converts it to logic board power. The PAV is the big brown board under the CRT. It has all those big parts on it.
What's the CPU speed? Also of the board you subed? How do I check?
If you're looking at the top of the board with the IDE and memory slots at the bottom right underneath there it will say: (eg on a 350 I have here) "part no." here 820-1051-A then "Apple Computer,Inc. ©1999" then a white barcoded label that says at the end 350MHz 64 MB
So this is a 350 that had 64 MB ram originally.
That I asked because depending on the speed the heat sinks will be in different places. This is only a problem if and when you get it booted and only between the 350-400s vs the 600-700s. There's also the issue of the heat transfer pads.

  • Middleware starts replicating before initial load

    Hi folks,
currently i´m setting up the middleware to connect a live ERP with a fresh CRM. The initial load is not done yet, also a lot other configuration stuff. I noticed that at the time of registering the queues the middleware is connecting itself and listing first BDocs in SMW01. Mostly R3AD delta(!) material BDocs (which fail by mapping error currently) but also green ones like 'class message' or 'objcl_message' which seem to have dummy or real entries. This is a problem as i did not configure e.g. R3AC1 filters or number ranges yet.
I thought delta load is triggered first after initial load. How can i stop the middleware before i finish the configuration stuff. If there is a 'switch off' (like deactivate a business adapter object in R3AC1) i guess i would have to switch it on again just before the initial load and then risking uncontrolable connection againg before i can execute R3AS. I mean if i would e.g. deregister the queues i could end my configuration but i would have to register the queues just before initial load and would again having no control about the start of the replication. Is that a problem for you? - How do you handle that issue usually if you set up a new CRM?
    Thanks

  • Initial Load of DD* tables

    Hi everyone,
Just a hopefully quick and simple question. We set up a SLT Replication Server recently and created our first SLT Configuration into HANA. We have no need for real time so we choose a scheduled time out of office hours. The configuration was successful however the DD* tables appeared in a scheduled state. From what I thought these tables should populate (load) initially regardless of the schedule. What appeared to happen was that they were waiting for the first schedule to run. Is this expected? Without these populating initially we could not choose any real ERP tables to replicate.
We also tried with a non-SAP source (Oracle) and the DD* tables for that configuration were populated instantly even though that config was scheduled to run "off-peak" as well.
    Thanks,
    Marcus.

    Hi Marcus,
As far as I understand your question, please find below my comments-
    (sap source system scenario)
If the configuration is created with "schedule by time" option which I think is done in your case, then the  replication server would replicate database changes to target system at the time set by you. Here the metadata of tables would be copied from source system tables[DD002L and DD02T]
yes, you are correct that ideally we should start with ERP tables replication after DD* tables are replicated successfully. This generally is faster but then depends upon the system.
    (non sap source system scenario)
here the DD* tables are just initially loaded and not automatically replicated.
So you would find a difference in how the replication takes place in both scenarios.
Hope it answers to some extent for your query.

  • Initial Load of BUPA_MAIN  to GWA_01 does not work

    Hi all
I have a question concerning the serverside groupware Integration and the initial Load of BUPA_MAIN.
According to the groupware integration guide, I have to "Transfer Business Partner to Public Contact Directory".
This is done with transaction R3AS (Object BUPA_Main, Sender=CRM, Receiver=GWA_01 (the mBDOC site)).
When I want to chose the above options in R3AS I cannot select GWA_01 as receiver site (only CRM or OLTP is offered when I click F4). That means when I chose BUPA_MAIN as object I cannot chose GWA_01 as receiver site (fbut or other objects f.ex. GWA_* I can chose GWA_01 as receiver site).
I created all subsriptions needed (I had to recreate the publication "ALL Business Partners (MESG)" because it was missing in my system).
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance and Regards

  • 'User is Locked' error while trying to start initial load

While trying to start initial load of objects using R3AS, I am receiving error msg 'User is locked'. This rfc user is a dialog user with SAP_ALL. I even tried replicating using a new user, but ended up with same error. The user is not locked but still getting the same error msg via status 'SYSFAIL' in the queue. Any suggestions?
    Thnx,
    - AJ.

    AJ,
The RFC user must be a <b>communication user or a system</b> user. I think you mentioned the RFC user is a dialog user, which would be wrong settings definitely.
Also as mentioned by Marcin, ensure the passwords in the RFC destination of SRM and R/3 are the same as the passwords in SU01 of the respective systems. To ensure this, click on remote logon for the RFC destination in SM59. If the screen doesnot change, this means your systems are connecting through the RFC user without any problem.
Please assign points, if answer is usefull !!

  • Message no. R1286 when starting initial load again

When I start the initial load again ( Customer_main from ECC to CRM )  , after changing the ppoma structure to make sure all data is there, for all customers that already have been replicated in the past I get the Message R1286 :
Business partner XXXXXX already exists. (CRM 7)
While this statement is ofc correct, the customer does already exist, in the past the customer was updated, and the bdoc processing status green. We have upgraded from SP4 to SP8, and now the error message is shown and the bdoc is not processed.
    Has something changed ?
How do I update all my customers to reflect changes in filters / PPOMA or just update them to fix small replication problems.
I have the same message when I start a request instead of an initial load.
    Thx !!

  • Error appearing in start initial load

    Hi Experts,
I am getting an error during execution of the transaction 'R3as' (Start Initial Load). I am using the load object 'IPMBEAPRDSLS'.
When I am running the trasaction, system is throwing the error meassage "Initial Load is already running(or waiting), IPMBEAPRDSLS: object will not be loaded"
Kindly suggest some solution of this problem.
    Thanks & regards,
    Rupam.

    Hello Rupam,
Abort the load of that object in txn:R3AM1.
Also, delete the queue entries like R3AI_<OBJECT_NAME> in txn:SMQ2.
This would let you to restrart the load again.
If again it goes to WAIT state , then it means that you do not have enough number of work processes to handle this load.
It happens if several other load are running. So you have to wait till other loads get finished or you need to increase the work process, if your hardware supports.
    Hope this helps!

  • Query not run on initial load

I have an application with several pages. I have made them in the same way, but they act different.
    What I have:
One region with a few select lists, and a submit button. The select list has a default value (which is sett identical in all pages in this discussion)
One region with a report, that runs a SQL based on the choices made with the select lists.
My problem is on initial loade, when I haven't made any choices in the select list. The defaults are set as expected. In some of the pages it loads as expected and the report looks nice and in accordance with the default values set in the select list. In some other pages it always starts wit ''No data found' in the report. Even when the select list has the correct defaults, and if I press the submit button the page reloads with the proper report. As far as I can tell I have made the two pages in the same manner.
It also return the expected result the second time you arrive at the page. So if the initial load returned no data found, and you navigate to another page and back again it will show the report with data.
My question is what can prevent the report from getting the proper defaults set and running the query on initial load of the page that is not the case when the page is resubmitted or loaded a second time.

I have looked at it without finding anything. I took an example from one page that has 3 out of 4 regions empty. The booked passenger region has data

  • Initial load....start replicat in parallel

    Oracle 11gR2 GG 11.1.1.1.5 Linux
    All,
I am doing the initial load (to replicat file method) and wondering if it is possible to kick off the replicat process in parallel while the initial extract process is running. I ask this because it is taking really long for the extract process to finish as the tables are large and it seems like it does not start inserting any rows into the target table until it has completely finished the extract. I followed the following note [1195705.1] to get passed the 2GB file size limit issue.

    Hi Karthik,
Start transaction GN_START to generate the missing objects. The status of the generation (generation errors) can be seen in transaction GENSTATUS.
    Regards.
    Manuel.

    Hi,
You are right, JSPM will not start with server0 down. And server0 will not come up with SAP JVM not updated.
Perhaps you could try a manual update of the SAP JVM as mentioned in the thread:
SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NW CE 7.1 -  java doesn't start after updating jvm
    Hope it helps.

  • On my registered iTunes computer, the following message appears every time one plugs in a device and refuses to load said device to be synced: "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". They are all registered. Help

On my registered iTunes computer, the following message appears every time one plugs in a device and refuses to load said device to be synced: "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". Each device has been registered onto this account and this computer, and all have worked finely in the past. I am so confused as to why now seemingly without reason, none of our apple devices (one iPod, two iPhones) are allowed to have music and other material downloaded onto them. Also, as a side note, they still are charged by plugging them into the computer, however they do not even show up on the left-hand sidebar in iTunes.
It should also be noted that for my iPhone it does not allow for the new update software to be uploaded; it just says that an error has occurred, nothing more.
