input is 10 digit date (dd/mm/yyyy) some times instead of date they will send as space(10 digit). it should not fail in PI.

Here is a recent post I assembled for a similar question:
Unfortunately you got caught up in the minor miracle of Rosetta. Originally licensed by Apple when it migrated from the PowerPC CPU platform that it had used from the mid-1990's until the Intel CPU platform in 2006, Rosetta allowed Mac users to continue to use their library of PPC software transparently in emulation.
However, Apple's license to continue to use this technology expired with new releases of OS X commencing with Lion (and now Mountain Lion). While educational efforts have been made over the last 6 years, the fact is that Rosetta was SO successful that many users were caught unaware UNTIL they upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion.
Workarounds:
1. If your Mac will support it, restore OS X Snow Leopard;
2. If your Mac will support it, partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard into it and use the "dual-boot" method to choose between your PowerPC software or Lion/Mt. Lion;
3. Upgrade your software to Intel compatible versions if they are available, or find alternative software that will open, modify and save your data files;
3. Install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels:

I am using Labview8.5 and Windows XP OS.
My Problem is my Labview TimeStamp cannot display current system date and time.
Please see my attachment for the screentshot.
The TimeStamp or ever Format Date/Time String display "YYYY-MM-DD" instead of "2014-08-02".
I tried other computer machine and it works. There are some computer machine has this problem.
How can I resolve this issue? Please advice. Thanks.

reviewing the thread Dennis linked (thanks for that) reveals that it is the same account which opened this thread here three month later.
What bothers me is the fact, that the past thread is marked "solved" even though it obviously isn't. Or the OP is trolling us.....
Nevertheless, it seems like systematic error. Connected to specific machines.
What makes the machines where the time stamp issue occurs "unique"? If there are several, is that source really "unique"?
Most obvious reasons would be:
- Language settings (possibly the infamous "dot-comma-issue")
- Time zone settings (e.g. what happens if you switch Ulaanbaatar to Perth or maybe even some US time zone?)
- Missing hotfixes for Win and LV
- Is the system running as virtual machine vs. "native"?
Not so obvious differences:
- Specific CPU type
- Motherboard/BIOS
- LV ini settings
There are tons of other possible reasons (e.g. corrupt LV installation), but these are the ones i came up with within a couple of minutes....

Hi Oktay -
This function works in my BPC70NW SP02 system. Your issue might be that you are trying to access a TIME member that does not exist. Please make sure the offset value is a valid dimension member.
I can confirm that EVTIM does allow the offset for base members (such as 2009.MAY) as well as parent nodes (such as 2009.Q1 or 2008.TOTAL)... BUT...the offset result of the EVTIM function needs to be a valid dimension member!

Get COM object type to supply to type input of Variant to Data.vi

I'm interfacing a custom ActiveX control. One of the methods returns a reference to another COM object. However in LabView the reference is returned as a Variant, so I need to convert that to a properly typed refnum so I can access its properties. The ActiveX control is registered so LabView knows all about its TLB. I just need a way to create a type constant in which I can specify the COM class (which will be something like "FooCtl.IFooData"), so I can wire it to the type input of Variant to Data and get the reference.

Never mind. Got it. Create a dummy refnum of the proper type and wire it to the type input. I'm sure there's a description of this somewhere in the docs...

Organizing names & Address by date they were input

Is there a way to organize my Names & Address files by the date they were inputted into the program?

The nice thing about Sagesse's 'Serial Number' solution is that a Serial Number type field created in an existing database will number the records +in the order in which they are currently sorted+.
For a new DB, you can use Peggy's solution as written, or create a Record Info type field, and choose the Date Created option after clicking Create. Doing that with an existing file unfortunately adds the field, but fills it all existing records with the date that the field was created (ie. 'today's date').

I hate to hear you are having issues. Where is this message appearing at (front panel of printer, computer)? What operating system do you have? Please see the options below that may help resolve the issue. If you would like to learn more aobut your printer, Click Here.
1. Turn off updates if settings available through HP folder. (start-all programs-HP folder-HP update-settings-check mark the box next to never under check for updates)
2. Turn off service for HP update through MSconfig. Type MSconfig in search box, choose selective startup, under services hide all Microsoft services, and then uncheck the HP update service. Click apply, then ok and complete a reboot. This will also allow you to go back and re-enable the service to manually check for updates.
3. Manually install latest updates from Here.
4. IF THE PC IS NOT HP-uninstall the HP update through programs.

and some times it keep loading and throw a login window.

we restart performance point service and if not work
we re create secure store service and generated new key and create new pps service application
before that we stopped secure store and pps service using c.a in application server
we are using ssas for datasource to connect from dashboard designer
we have seperate server for ssas dbs
seperate application server running: pps service and secure store service
two web front ends: one of running secure store
1 Domain controller + central admin service running
some times after 4 -5 hours bi dashboards works , we dashboards not display data and throw un expected errors,
also when we try to connect using a dashboard designer from a seperate client machine in same domain ,we have same issue , we unable to connect to ssas datasource server, and if connect some times unable to deploy dashboards.
we tried every thin icreased server time out values in ssas server

Date Book will not sync

My device is a Treo 650. I can sync the address book, to do, and memos, but the date book will not sync. The HotSync program hangs. Using Palm Desktop by Access 6.2.2 with Win XP Pro SP 3. Oddly enough, this only happens on my home computer, with the sync working fine on my office computer. Any suggestions?

I recently upgraded from my iPhone 3 to iPhone 4S. My old iPhone had been unable to sync for some time and I blamed it on the faulty cable. With my new cable I tried to sync the 3 before advancing to the 4S to be sure I had all my data. Will not sync.

I recently upgraded from my iPhone 3 to iPhone 4s. My old iPhone had not completed a sync in some time because of a faulty cable. But the old phone still will not sync properly even with the new cable.
Now that I have my new iPhone, I would like to first sync the old phone so all the data will be available for the new phone. I would also like to have an extra copy of my audio ebooks on the old iPhone so my husband and I can both listen at the same time using earphones while driving long distances in the car and then discuss the book. We have been unable to do this with the old iPhone alone due to constant road noise.

I'm not sure what made the difference, but I tried again and it worked this time. ???????????
