Input thread not updating JList
Im using a thread for getting input from the server, in the run method i call the method of the Applet class which takes the string and adds an element to the JList. The problem is that JList doesn't add any element, or doesn't get updated. The one class is the Applet class, and the other is the Thread class which calls the method of Applet class to update the JList. I hope you people can help me thanx.
Without any coding, we can hardly help you!
Sometimes it's ueseful to make a System.out.println of the elements within the JList.
If the added item is in the list, you probably should do a repaint();

Messaging threads not updating - Lumia 925
I have an issue with my Lumia 925 and teh messages not updating. messages are coming un, flash up on thehome screen but when i go to messages i can see there is a new message but the thread doesnt update. This is the same for all users.
I have treid locating the backup so i can wipe and restore the phone but sky drive doesnt show it and i cant see a way to back up manually. i dont want to reset the phone without backing up first.
Has any one else seen this issue with messages not updating? please help....check the time and date settings of the phone.

Threads not updating responses - please disregard
Please disregard, sorry, I missed that there was a 2nd page of the thread, which shows the response.
Wondering though why it does not show "load more items" button at the bottom like it does with the overview page. Lack of interface ergonomics.

I opened the thread to write a response.
The messages appears in the Overview Abstract and preview page, but when I open the thread it is not there. I'm using flat views (I find threaded view, which is the default very inconvenient when reading a large thread)
This is the second time I experience this problem. Waiting for 30 min. for the response to appear. Previously the missing response appeared right after I posted another response, but that's not the way it should work.check the time and date settings of the phone.

Problem - I input a new event into my iPhone calendar and it does not update on my iMac or iPad calendars. I have loaded the latest software on all devices and have switched over to iCloud. Suggestions?
On the iMac open System Prerferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Calendars then reselect then restart the iMac.
On the iPad, tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Calendars off then back on then reset the iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Hopefully the event synced over all the devices. -
Can not update tiger and safari does not start
Hi everybody,
I have actually two but probably interrelated problems: First, safari does not start and second, I can not update tiger.
It all started a few days ago on my MacBook (Intel). Somehow, Safari produced an error (I only guess that it was Safari because I was downloading a movie clip) and Tiger was frozen. After rebooting, the whole system had problems (e.g., Safari and Skype were not starting). I tried to reinstall and archive mac os x but with no success. The problems were growing actually even worse (e.g., slow) and at some point in time, Tiger was not even starting. Thus, I did a full new installation of 10.4.8 (delete and install). Afterwards, it worked first but after the automatic software update, the system told me that their was an input/output error (???) during the 10.4.10 update. Afterwards, the whole system had again problems (slow and problems with even booting)!! Thus, the software update made it even worse. So, I did again a full installation (delete and install).
I have to update my 10.4.8 system, because I also have iLife08 that needs at least 10.4.9. However, I don't know what to do to avoid again these update problems??
In addition, despite the full installation, Safari is not starting. Thus, there is still some problems but I have now clue where this comes from as it is newly installed?!

Do all steps from 1 thru 6, it is by far a more maintenance oriented than an Erase and Install. After the preparation, install OS 10 from your DVD, then download the OS 10.4.10 Combo Updater.

BADI MB_MIGO_BADI not updating custom field in MSEG Table
Dear Experts,
I am working on screen exit In MIGO transaction for transfer Posting.
I checked that BADI MB_MIGO_BADI having facility for screen exit and method line_modify having facility to change GOITEM Structure for the changed line item.
Now, to make this functionality work I have enhanced include structure CI_COBL which is available in both mseg table and goitem structure, now I have this customized fields on my custome tab through the enhancement and also to update this value 2 custom fields created in goitem structure and MSEG table through include structure CI_COBL.
Here my question is at the time of transfer posing creation in MIGO when I am passing the value in custom fields through screen and assigning it to custom fields of structure GOITEM through LINE_MODIFY method, it is giving me below worning message
BADI: Field GOITEM-ZZIDNLF is not ready for input. (Change is not taken over)
Now I have debuged the code, also checkout many threads and came to know that because of few checks in standred program (iNCLUDE:LMIGOKL3) these fields will not be updated WHERE IT always checks whether these fields are ready for input or not and if not ready then instead of assigning the values it throws worning message.
Now can you please through some light how can I go ahead as I have check out many threads and also tried to change value of cs_goitem structure using field symbol but throughing dump that it is blocked against changes through field symbol.

In the badi mentioned by you GOITEM is the importing parameters & if the relevant field is not used in any MIGO screen you cannot change the data.

How do you monitor a background thread and update the GUI

I have a thread which makes its output available on PipedInputStreams. I should like to have other threads monitor the input streams and update a JTextArea embedded in a JScrollPane using the append() method.
According to the Swing tutorial, the JTextArea must be updated on the Event Dispatch Thread. When I use SwingUtilities.invokeLater () to run my monitor threads, the component is not redrawn until the thread exits, so you don't see the progression. If I add a paint () method, the output is choppy and the scrollbar doesn't appear until the thread exits.
Ironically, if I create and start new threads instead of using invokeLater(), I get the desired result.
What is the correct architecture to accomplish my goal without violating Swing rules?

Thanks for pointing out the SwingWorker class. I didn't use it directly, but the documentation gave me some ideas that helped.
Instead of using invokeLater on the long-running pipe-reader object, I run it on a normal thread and let it consume the output from the background thread that is running the system command. Inside the reader thread I create a tiny Runnable object for each line that is read from the pipe, and queue that object with invokeLater (), then yield() the reader thread.
Seems like a lot of runnable objects, but it works ok. -

I am using Time2Way T01, if it is when i sync the data will be uploaded, or do i need to configure somewhere to get the data upload ?
if the data in client and middleware is different, when i sync , the data from the middleware will again download to the client replace the modified values

after i sync, i found out that there is 2 record with different syncKey but same primary key and all attributes appear to be same except the attribute that i changing.

i check the application and found out that the previous record that i modify have its value changing locally but not updated into the backend, after sync, there is another record downloaded into this application which is the old record before i modify with different syncKey.
but when i check the backend table, there is only 1 record inside, because i dont implement the 'Create' Bapi.
does it make sense ?
7) when i check my client , the data is persisted with modified value , but the changes is not reflected in the server, how come the data in client is not uploaded to the server.
acceptClientSyncBo will make the client wins how come the data is not get updated in server ?

Table record is not updated correctly after navigate back from detail page
I have 2 jspx pages one (page A) has a table displaying the employee record, another one (page B) is used to update the selected employee record. On page A, when selecting a record and clicking the 'Details' button I can be navigaed to pag B on which I can modify the record information in a form component. I have one table column 'teamName' which is binding to a LOV at VO layer and on pageB I am using <af:inputComboboxListOfValues> to show a editable LOV list for this attribute, when I input a new value here and save it, I can go back to page A but the team name for this record shows empty, by querying the database I do find the record updated successfully with the changed value. And when I reloaded the page the record can show the new team name value. Why it is not updated in the employee table when immediately navigating back from page B? I have set the table iterator refresh attribut to "always" but still failed. Can anyone help on this issue? Thanks!!
BTW, for other columns (not LOV) they are ok, the table can show the changed value correctly.

I did exactly the same as what you said. I d&d the data control Commit operation on page B to generate a 'Save' commandToolbarButton with the action attribute set to 'save' which is the from outcome for navigating back to page A. Is there any business logic I need to write here? Currently I have no.
Note: In this case I used an editable LOV, I have a requirment that besides selecting a existing value from the lov, user can also input a new value in the LOV. When going back to page A, I do find the LOV list is updated to contain the new vaule. Just the record in the table shows an empty value instead of the new value. Still do not know why. -
ADF master-detail master selection not updating detail tables properly

I am using JDev version : 11.1.2.0.0
I created new Fusion Web Application Module. In that module I created a master-detail data model and added them to a page fragment with a query panel. When I run it as a separate module, It works perfectly and Master selection correctly updates detail tables.
But when I integrate that module to another Fusion Application(Add application jar file to the Master Application libraries), Master-details master selection not updating detail tables properly. This problem occurred sequentially.
The problem is that.
After the page load, first selection of the Master Table works correctly and detail tables update correctly.
But second selection doesn't work, means detail table doesn't get update according to the Master table.
And again in the third selection works correctly.
This happens in a sequential manner. I monitor the behavior using Firebug. Observations are as follows,

sound to be an implementation specific issue that is hard to comment on without knowing how to reproduce it. If you have a rerooducible test case based on the Oracle HR schema using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, zip it up, rename the "zip "extension to "unzip" and sent it to the mail address you find in my OTN profile. If you don't have that test case, explain how this can be reproduced

HDMI and PC inputs do not work on my 37AV502R LCD TV
HDMI inputs and PC inputs do not work consistently
my Apple TV (HDMI) and computers 2 on HDMI, 1 on PC, display just fine n the TV but after a while the TV goes blank,
the time is not consistent sometime a few minutes, sometimes a few hours,
but every time, after the TV goes blank there is nothing I can do, the TV just stays blank, if I unplug and turn back on the TV displays the image for a split second and goes bank again,
I thought it might be an overheating thing, however sometimes the PC input will stop working but the HDMI input (either one) will work fine,
has anyone else had this issue?

A.I'm having the same issue. As soon as I connect it to VGA or HDMI, it goes into a cycle of flashing on-and-off. A guy on youtube had the same problem (posted a video identical to my problem) and reportedly fixed it with a firmware update.
The problem: the US website doesn't have a firmware download. The canadian website does, but the update is from 4/2009, and the manufactured date on the back of my TV is 5/2009. (I also tried the update, but it didn't fix the problem).
When I call Toshiba to ask about the firmware update, after they confirm I am out of warranty, their automated system keeps hanging up on me. So frustrating. -
My iphone 4s ios 7/0/4 will not update music or apps from itunes 11.1.3. this was true with my pc since ios 7.0.3 even with update 7.0.4 and now continues with my new MacPro also runing itunes 11.1.3. as most state in previous threads, syncs all non itunes related data with no issue and appears to work correctly on itunes data but then hangs on the last step of updating until it times out. i have tried marking specific music to transfer, setting up new playlist, deleting some old playlist on phone but stopped short of restoring my phone back to new due to the amount of non itunes data that i will lose. The itunes setup on the macpro was completely with the download of all music from a previous external backup and the creation of new playlist - on the first sync with existing phone it did ask to overwrite all phone itunes data with macpro itunes data which i did accept - no different result - no changes on phone.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the problem continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. -
Contract Release Value is not updated with Confirmation or Invoice value
The release value for a contract in SRM EBP shows the value of purchase orders created using that contract. It does not take into account confirmation and/or invoice values.
For example I create a PO for 10 items at £100/each using Contract ABC. The total value of the PO is £1000 and the release value contract ABC would be £1000. If I then only confirm and invoice 5 items (£500) for the PO, the release value of contract ABC stays at £1000 even though I would expect it to update to £500
Therefore the release value of the contract could be incorrectly overstated if purchase orders are created against the contract but not actually invoiced/confirmed for their total value.
Please could you confirm the correct functionality and how I could find out the the true invoice value of purchases made using a contract?Hi

We have copied following LSMW for opening balance upload from ECC 5 to ECC 6.
When we upload through LSMW (BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST ) which is used for uploading opening balances of G/L accounts field Long Text (Tech Name: ITEM_TEXT) not updating.
Form Vendor and Customer Opening balances LSMWs Long Text (Tech Name: ITEM_TEXT) field of G/L line item is not updating. According to my observation data field SGTXT of BSEG table. not getting updated through this LSMW. I have tried same transaction through T Code F-02 and it is updating field SGTXT of BSEG table. As per confirmation from business same LSMWs are working fine in ECC 5.
