Insert filter by url of the template

Hello Wad experts,
can someone tell me how to insert filter by url of the template ?
using a CMD i think, but I need some help.
thanks for helping me

thanks !
my URL call a template, so, is this the good url ? :
<SAP_BW_URL ITEM='*TPL*' MULTI='X' HIDDEN='X' FILTER_NODE_IOBJNM_1='ZIS_PDT' FILTER_VALUE_1='C' CMD_1='ITEM=*TPL1*&MULTI=X&HIDDEN='>
or did i must put it in the CMD like this ? :
<SAP_BW_URL ITEM='*TPL*' MULTI='X' HIDDEN='X' CMD_1='ITEM=*TPL1*&MULTI=X&HIDDEN=&FILTER_NODE_IOBJNM_1='ZIS_PDT'&FILTER_VALUE_1='C''>
another question,
in my query, did the characteristic must be in "free characteristic" or in "filter" or nowhere ???
thanks a lot

    Not sure what you mean by that: is that URL in an image, or is it actual text?
    If it is in an image, then you need to extract the image, edit it with something like Photoshop, then add it back to the PDF.
    If the URL is actual text, I suggest that you remove the entire URL, then add the corrected link.

  • Template URL in the xfaForm variable Performance issue

    the Browse button for the "Template URL" on the xfaForm variable property sheet seems to be very slow (when you have a few hundred forms in the system). Does this happen to you too? It seems that it's getting all the forms in the resource database in one shot, correct?
    I wonder if it could be changed to just retrieve the list of resource Categories first? when you click on the "+" to expand the category, it then retrieves only the forms in that category. This way at least I can split my forms into several categories and improve the speed of the Browse button.

  • Insert multiple Camtasia created swfs as animation only displays the first animation with the template/control bar

    Greetings,
    I have started adding Camtasia created .swfs to Captivate
    projects.
    The first added animation will display the template and
    control bar the animation file is published with in Camtasia.
    After that, any additional .swf animation files also created
    exactly the same do n ot display the template or control bar and
    just play as soon as the slide begins.
    My theory is that the initial template and play button
    convince all the subsequent animations the user has pushed play.
    I would like for each animation on individual slides to
    display the template and control bar correctly and have tried to
    adjust animation timing to no avail...
    Anyone else run into this one
    Template is Camtasia Studio 5 Express Show Published as .swf
    files then inserted as animation into Captivate
    Both Camtasia and Captivate latest versions.
    Animations work correctly just need Camtasia template and
    control bar to show in all animations....
    Any help much appreciated!

    Hi maya12357 and welcome to our community
    Out of curiosity, since you already have your project output
    from Camtasia, why are you trying to insert into Captivate?
    I do have Camtasia 4, so I'm not sure if the output files
    from it are similar to 5. But I'm not sure if you will be 100%
    successful in getting all the Camtasia elements to show inside a
    Captivate project.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Dynamic image does not work in the template builder plug-in (Apex-BI Intgr)

    Hi all, I posted this problem in the BI Publisher topic but nobody responded maybe this is because mods thought this is an Apex-BI integration issue.
    If I'm in the wrong place, please do warn me.
    The documentation says:
    Direct Insertion
    Insert the jpg, gif, or png image directly in your template.
    ...This works obviously
    URL Reference
    1. Insert a dummy image in your template.
    2. In Microsoft Word's Format Picture dialog box select the Web tab. Enter the following syntax in the Alternative text region to reference the image URL:
    url:{'http://image location'}
    For example, enter: url:{'http://www.oracle.com/images/ora_log.gif'}
    ...This works too when I hardcode an url as url:{'http://www.google.com.tr/images/firefox/mobiledownload.png'}
    Element Reference from XML File
    1. Insert a dummy image in your template.
    2. In Microsoft Word's Format Picture dialog box select the Web tab. Enter the following syntax in the Alternative text region to reference the image URL:
    url:{IMAGE_LOCATION}
    where IMAGE_LOCATION is an element from your XML file that holds the full URL to the image.
    ...This, however, does not work.
    I use Apex' report query tool and My query is like
    select 'http://www.google.com.tr/images/firefox/mobiledownload.png' IMAGE_LOCATION from ... (a single result set for my template)
    the xml data is generated with an IMAGE_LOCATION tag. I load it to word template plug-in. The Url successfully displays in the report if I make it a plain-simple field.
    But when it's in the image format->web->alt text as url:{IMAGE_LOCATION} no image displayed.
    I need to keep this design procedure simple so a simple word user could design a report via using just template builder plug-in. I don't wish to explore the xsl-fo area...yet.
    Could you tell me why I can't get this url:{IMAGE_LOCATION} to work?
    Regards
    PS: My BI version: 10.1.3.4.1

    Hi Oeren,
    your steps seem basically to be correct. I have a tutorial how to do this here (in german)
    http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/de/community/apex/tipps/pdf-dyn-images/index.html
    when you see the URL corrently as long as you have it as a plain text field, the XML tag and the
    referencing seem to be OK.
    Here are two thought - the issue might be one of these ...
    How did you insert the dummy image into the word document - did you do it via "insert" or
    via "link to file". "Link to File" does not work - you must choose the simple "insert".
    Another one: Does your BI Server have a connection to the internet - is the proxy server correctly set ..?
    Does this help ..?

  • How to filter in URL using NW04s WAD?

    Greeting Web Template Gurus,
    I am working in NW04s SP12 WAD (Web Application Designer) and I am trying to use the filtering criteria in my URL...  <bwurl>&FILTER_IOBJNM=0PLANT&FILTER_VALUE=1000.  I have brought in the Filter Pane in the Web template and when I run the Web Template in IE, I do not see where 0PLANT is being used.
    Is there a setting in the Web Template I am missing, or a specific Command I need to be running to get this to work for me?
    Regards,
    Alex

    Hello Alex,
    Please try to pass the command using the Template ID and not using the Query,
    for example
    http://<server><port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=MMFG_M03_Q0088&FILTER_IOBJNM_1=MPLANT&FILTER_VALUE_1=3010
    instead of using QUERY=MMFG_M03_Q0088, try WebTemplate as given below, it may help you
    http://<server><port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?template_id=yourTemplate&FILTER_IOBJNM_1=MPLANT&FILTER_VALUE_1=3010

  • JSF - Why getting wrong path Handling URLs in Facelets Templates

    Hi, I am trying to do a web application using JSF, Facelets in Netbeans 6.7. but I am having a problem:
    Why I am getting wrong path ?
    It is very simple, straight forward web application.
    When run, it shows the template-client.xhtml perfectly . The navigation menu is shows ok, but they don't work. However, if I enter in the browser address http://localhost:8080/test3/portal/products.jsf it goes perfect to the right page and the navigation between About, Products and Home works perfect. But once I click on Home, the menu start to give me errors. Looks like the path is wrong again.

  • Include URL in the Alert message in Sitescope Alert

    Hi,
    I am trying to include the URL int he Evetn mapping but unable to fidn the Attribute to include the URL in the alert. Please suggest.

    Hi,
    If this is a static URL then you can include it in alert by modifing the alert templates under templates.mail in installed directory. In case of dynamic URL's put them under group/monitor description feild nad include it in alert using the tag like "Monitor:  <groupID>:<name> <groupDescription>" in alert template.

  • Open a URL in the same window

    Hi,
    My objective is to open a URL when i click on a webdynpro iView in the same window.
    I created a outbound plug in the InterfaceViewController.
    And wrote this piece of code in wdDoBeforeNavigation() in Component controller.
    wdThis.wdGetExternalComponentInterfaceViewController().wdFirePlugGoToUrl(Url);
    Where "Url" is a string variable contaning the value.
    But when i run this piece of sode it gives exception
    "Exit-Plug must no be triggered with an URL when running in portal. Use portal navigation instead to navigate to another application!"
    So what should i do solve this problem
    Regards,
    Paresh

    HI,
    Procudere to create the LogoffURL
    In the Application properties add your URL name.
    LogoffURL = http:
    www.google.com
    1.      Define an exit plug in the interface view of your Web Dynpro component:
                                a.      Enter a name and check the checkbox Exit Plug.
                                b.      Enter the name Url for the parameter and select string as the type.
    This parameter is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly this way.
           2.      In your view, define the action Exit and add the event handler onActionExit().
           3.      In the view layout, define a button and bind its onAction event to the Exit action.
           4.      In your view, define the use of the interface view controller of your Web Dynpro component under Properties.
           5.      Insert the following code in this method of the implementation:
    String logoffURL = wdComponentAPI.getApplication().getApplicationInfo().findInApplicationProperties("sap.logoffURL").getValue();
    wdThis.wdGetTimeCompInterfaceViewController().wdFirePlugExit(logoffURL);
    OR Do u need to generate the URL by using the application?
    Thanks,
    Lohi.

  • Can we have a filter to handle all the apps in a container?

    Hi,
    I have a simple (Stupid) question.
    Can I configure a Servlet filter to intercept requests to all the applications (a.k.a all the ServletContexts)? All I know is we can configure a filter for each ServletContext (application), but I am wondering if there is any way.
    The reason I am asking is because, if there is a way to do so, I can configure my filter to provide me the debug output (Such as CGI, session, request, and ServletContext variables) on all the applications on development servers and when I can get rid of debugging on production servers (by not deploying the filter).
    Thanx in advance,
    Thirupati Panyala

    Thanks for the reply Sudhir.
    I tried it in Tomcat 4.x. It works for only the root resources even though I configured the filter for /* which is expected to include all the resources including root (for ex: /examples/...).
    So, I understand, the web.xml under /conf will be overriden by that of the respective apps as you go further down the context paths (apps). That's why the container was not executing my filter when I went to the next level of the URI (http://localhost:8080/index.html WORKED, but NOT http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp/num/numguess.jsp).
    If you want to try it for yourself, here is the piece of code I tried with (This is taken from Apache Tomcat source):
    package filters;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.io.PrintWriter;
    import java.io.StringWriter;
    import java.sql.Timestamp;
    import java.util.Enumeration;
    import java.util.Locale;
    import javax.servlet.Filter;
    import javax.servlet.FilterChain;
    import javax.servlet.FilterConfig;

    import javax.servlet.ServletRequest;
    import javax.servlet.ServletResponse;
    import javax.servlet.http.Cookie;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest;
    * Example filter that dumps interesting state information about a request
    * to the associated servlet context log file, before allowing the servlet
    * to process the request in the usual way. This can be installed as needed
    * to assist in debugging problems.

  • Why can't I see the URL in the address bar when I click on a hyperling, as opposed to typing in a URL? I send a lot of links, but if I can't copy and paste them from your address bar I'll have to abandon Firefox and use another browser.

    I just gave you the details. When I click on a hyperlink, the URL of the site/page is not in the address box at the top of the page.

    Type '''about:config''' in the Location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key. When you see a warning, click '''I'll be careful, I promise!''' button.
    -> In the '''Filter bar''', type '''browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled'''
    * Right click the preference '''browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled''' and click '''Toggle'''
    * The value is now set to '''False'''
    -> In the '''Filter bar''', type '''browser.urlbar.trimURLs'''
    * Right click the preference '''browser.urlbar.trimURLs''' and click '''Toggle'''
    * The value is now set to '''False'''
    -> Close the '''about:config''' tab and then Restart Firefox.
    Check and tell if its working.
