Insert flash music player into a JPG / PNG

Hi folks

I want the little Flash music player to appear in the center
area of the JPG
Is there is a way to slice out sections of the JPG in the
exact dimensions of the players, then have the players appear in
those slices?

Just to clarify, you are suggesting an export of the GRAPHIC
ONLY, which
would then be used in HTML created in the HTML editor, right?

[Solved] KDE desktop crashed when i close the flash music player

My desktop is kde 4.7.3-1, and the kernel is linux-3.1.4-1.
Just as the Title, those days everytime when I close the flash music player"http://player.mbox.sogou.com/player" in firefox, my desktop crashed, and my desktop panel disapeared for a while. Several seconds later the desktop recovered. I have no idea what caused the problem. Does anyone have the same problem? Or who have idea what have to do with it?

Just out of interest, why the old KDE?
You may get more info if you start firefox from the command line and reproduce the crash.

Desperately need help getting Flash music player to work correctly!

I'm working up a Flash template for a site that has a music player for 3 different tracks. The template came with 3 separate fla files for each track (Music1.fla, Music2.fla and Music3.fla), which I opened and imported my own mp3's into, set them to repeat only once, and then published the swf's. The music player works fine, but when the first song ends, the music stops unless you click on the next music track in the player. I'd like to have it where after the first song finishes it automatically starts playing the next song, then when it finishes the 3rd and final song it goes back to song one. How can I do this? Is it as easy as inserting some Actionscript into the Music fla's or would it have to be fixed in the player itself on the site's fla?

K, give this a shot.
All you need to do is duplicate the code on the buttons in the sound controller that load the three songs. So on the last frame of music1.fla, enter -
path="music2.swf";
loadMovieNum(path,1);
Do the same for the other music flas using the next song number. You may have to add _root. before the loadMovieNum command, so it would be:
_root.loadMovieNum(path,1);
This will only work if the mp3s are imbedded in the music flas. You will have to add a zillion frames to the timeline to see where the audio file ends, create a keyframe there and enter code on the keyframe.

Flash music player HELP on Safari

However it wont stream the music..any ideas why? was working a few weeks back but now wont stream...not sure if its a safari or flash player issue...maybe a privay/security setting is not right? any help would be much appreciated!!

Well, that is certainly clever - that you need a functioning Flash Player to troubleshoot your Flash Player...!
I don't know how you uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player, but I suggest that you try the following:
download the FP uninstaller http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg
download the FP installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer.
Hopefully this fixes your Flash Player problem, otherwise we have to wait for someone with some basic Mac knowledge, which I don't have.

A simple question about mp3's in a Flash music player

I have a music player for a Flash site that I'm working on that plays 3 mp3's. Right now it just has some short sound loops, but I find them repetitive and annoying. I'd like to replace them with mp3's of full songs. Is it ok to add 3 mp3's of songs that are like 3 minutes long and are 128 kbps or will those be too big of files? The mp3's are all between 2 and 3 mpgs. Is it better to try to find ones at say 64 kbps? Or is there a way to bump them down to a smaller size just for the player but still get decent sound quality?

Please provide some more information about the technologies you are using to build your application in order to get some appropriate help.
For example, if you are using ADF BC/ADF Faces, I will say, "please read section 25.8 of the ADF Developer's Guide for Forms/4GL Developers," which describes how to do this using those technologies.
Obviously, if you're not using ADF BC, then it's not much help... so... help us help you; what technologies are you using.

I'm having trouble with the TSPlayerV2.1.swf - Flash Music Player

I'm using it with DreamWeaver cs4.
I got it to work only once.
It seems that It won't look for the MP3' folder or it does and the playlist(s) won't match. if so how do you
control with playlist for it to use?
I'm confused...
It worked once, then I put some different MP3's in the folder and now the player is blank.
The player won't read the MP3 folder that it's supposed to.
Or maybe it does, and it's programed for a different playlist. I don't get it.
Anybody familiar with this?
Also, Could you suggest a Slick Music player that Is easy to install into DreamWeaver?
Maybe one that I could customize (make) my own buttons?

Inserting flash .swf file into template

I want to insert a flash file into the right sidebar to appear on all pages of the website. I know I need to do this via the template. I think I need to click in the insertion point, then copy the code (make sure the files are in the correct location). I've done this before with galleries ect.. but not in DW and not from a template. What's a little confusing is there are 3 templates. The first is in it's own folder (design template), the other two (theme 01 design & theme 01 design from template) are in the root folder, but the theme 01 design one doesn't seem to be changeale. Which template should I be working with?

Are each of these 'templates' actually DW templates (i.e., are they named with a *.dwt extension)? If so, then they must all be located within the Templates folder at the root level of the site - it doesn't sound like that is the case. Also, why do you need three templates? Finally, which version of DW are you using? It's likely that you will have to make any links to your Flash element with ROOT relative links to be successful.

Mini flash music player......not working in IE or GC just FF??? WHY WHY WHY!!!

this is getting silly!! I have tried all diffrent music players. This one now works in FF but not in GC or IE i mean it comes up and shows.....bottom left hand corner.......but it doesnt play.......its streaming music from another site. why the hell wont it work???

Insert flash web gallery into webpage

Hi!
How do I integrate a flash web gallery created with photoshop into my own webpage? I have to call the swf from another folder than where all the web gallery stuff is.
For example my webpage is in the folder /index
my gallery swf and all the xml and js and imagefiles are in /index/mygallery
I tried to copy all the css and js stuff from the generated index.htm into my header and copied all the div-content into my page. Than I altered the call of the gallery.swf to mygallery/gallery.swf and in the js in the header I altered mygallery/flashobject.js
But it still does not work!?

Open the xml file and see if there are any folder location that. Other than that it should be working. I haven't tried the flash gallery yet. So I could be off here. Is there another external javascript file that has not been uploaded?

Any examples for loading a Flash video player into a JavaScript layer?

I want to build a web page with a button that when clicked opens up a javascript layer and loads a flash player inside that layer. And that layer would need a close button. Does anyone know of any tutorials to help me do this?

one way to embedd flash player is to use swfobject.js

ID is the input that will change dynamically...ur flash player will read videoId and chose the location from where to stream the .flv file..
remember u may need to write ur own .swf(flash player)...

Embedding music player?

So... I've searched the forum and seen a few suggestions on embedding a music player into your iWeb, but none seem to work. I am some what familiar with HTML and am certain the code I am inserting into my website is correct, but I cannot seem to get a player up and running. The actual player shows up fine, but it cannot find my playlists. I have tried using both xspf and xml type playlists and players, but still have not luck getting this to work. I understand iWeb is what it is- and is not meant to be a full blown web design program - but with the HTML snippet, my code should work and isn't.
Does anyone out there have a working mp3 player on their website? I do not want to have the files linked or playing in the background. I am specifically looking to get a player working. Is this just not an option for iWeb? Any ideas or suggestions? All feedback is appreciated!

PS3 compatible embeded internet music player

Hi, I am seeking a way to create/edit a embedable music player into a website that will play a music stream fed from my server.
I have tried various flash music players but do not appear compatable with the PS3 (Playstation 3).
A very few select websites are capable of doing this using flash, but after hours of searching and trawling it has left me at a dead end.
Does someone please know what format it needs to be streamed in?
Whats best to encode the specific stream if it has to be a complete flash stream?
Or where i can find code to make my own player?
Or how I can edit an already existing player to work?
I can do all the above for PC/Laptops/Mobiles but not PS3.
Any/all details would be greatly appreciated.

Music player widgit with shuffle

i'm looking for a flash music player widgit that does the following:
1) will shuffle songs, so that everytime someone visits my page with the player, the exact same song doesn't kick in.
2) music will automatically start when you go to the page.
I have been using Nimbit's software widget as flash music player for my home page (folks can also purchase songs in the player). However, the fact that I can't reorder tracks without spending time making a whole new project for sale, or shuffle the songs is driving me nuts.
I've searched this iWeb message board, and found a variety of flash player widgets, but it is not clear if any of these shuffle tunes in the way I am desiring (i.e. new song from playlist with each visit).

The enhanced version of the JW player should be able to handled shuffle by adding - &shuffle=1 - into the code. I haven't tried it in this mode.
