Inserting PayPal buttons creates error messages

Hello,
I have inserted 3 "add to cart" buttons on a page that had no errors. After inserting the buttons a bunch of errors showed up, all for the code I have inserted from PayPal. The buttons are working, but what can I do about all the errors?

All the errors are for lines between 58 and 125.
I sent the error list as attachment tp PayPay asking for help. The reply was
" I'm not familiar with the issue or product being used. Most web editors have you enter (paste) the code and then specify where on the page it will be located. I'd contact their support or check online forums and see if someone has had a similar issue that they resolved."
This is not an answer for the question, but it gave me an idea to ask if anyone had similar problems and would help me!

Thank you ever so much! There are no more error messages!
But since I had to close "input" 30 times and "img" 3 times for the 3 "add to cart" keys I have inserted, is this something that PayPal should be doing in the code that they are creating? Or is this a DW issue? Do other users have the same problem?
I have to create over 300 keys so I wish there would be a way to avoid all the work.
But I thank you again, at least I have a solution!

follow this procedure,
declare the error or warning or text messages in the message pool.
we can use those message in the view using the message manager .
IWDMessageManager messageMgr = wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager();
and check if the input field or any other ui element is null then throw error messages.

CS4 Mac: Inserting PayPal buttons?

Hello. I have a Mac user who needs to be able to create specific PayPal buttons for new events and update a web page with the new button as the event draws near. Can this be done in Mac Contribute CS4? Does the user create the button in PayPal and cut-and-paste the code, or do it in CS4? I've seen references to a WebAssist.com toolkit, but it seems like the toolkit requires Dreamweaver, which the user does not have.
The user currently has Contribute 3 running on Snow Leopard and it keeps crashing, so I need to upgrade him soon.

In Contribute CS4, one can insert these Paypal buttons - Buy Now, Add To Cart, View Cart, Subscription and Donation buttons. In the Insert Menu, there is PayPal sub-menu, and select any of them. For any other custom PayPal buttons, you can copy the code, and in Contribute insert it as a HTML snippet. (That is, copy the code associated with PayPal button, in Contribute select Insert menu, and select HTML snippet sub-menu. In the HTML Snippet dialog box, paste the PayPal code.)

It's working already. But I'm wondering if I need PayPal's
authorization to do that.
I notice for example that the Dreawmeaver extension by
webAssist to insert a PayPal button inserts a
hidden field identifying webassist as the button generator,
for PayPal to track.
I know there are some webassist people sometimes on this
forum, do you know if I need to be
"authorized" by PayPal to have this in my website builder?...

Creating Error message during creation of SC using create limit item option

Hi,
I am using option "create limit item" option to create a service SC, now i need to set an Error message if the value in the "value limit" field is lower than the value in the "expected value" field during the creation of sc and i should not be able to order such cart. Currently there is no message displayed and i can create a SC with the lower value in the value limit field.
Please suggest.

Shopping cart not created, error message 'Error in Transfer'

Dear Guru's,
While creating a shopping cart in the product category, the system is giving an error message 'Error in transfer'. We are working in the classic scenario.
When we check in the table BBP_PDBEI, the logical system shown is SRM system. Ideally, the logical system should be that of the ECC backend system. Could you please help us where we can go wrong in the settings?

You need to begin by configuring the AEX to Join an existing network (Bridge Mode.) You can then connect to it using Wi-Fi, but the AEX will not extend your existing network.
If you can connect the AEX to your existing router using Ethernet, then you could use it to Create a new network. Otherwise, if you want to extend your existing network you will need to get a Wireless Access Point - WAP - from a non-Apple product like D-Link.

That looks like it should work, but you have left out an important line which could tell you why it's not working. If the error code is not one of the two you have specified then there will be no message at all!
Try this and see what error message you get. Perhaps the code is something other than 40301.

Creating Error Message in Reports

I have a report that has a date range for a parameter screen. The user has requested that an error message will be displayed to prevent the user from making/entering the start date greater than the end date.
Could someone please tell me what report trigger I should use as well as some sample code to accomplish this. I would like something like, "The ending date cannot be less than the beginning date. Please enter a valid date range."

You can only do this by validating the two parameters in the after parameter form trigger.
eg
If :start_date > :end_date then

The time has to have this format: hh:mm:ss.
How can I check this? And if the users entered a wrong time format how can I post an error message?
Or does anybody has any other solution to handle this? But I must say to it that I don't want to use an ABAP RFC to solve this problem.

Links in e-mails create error message

I use Outlook 2007 and Firefox 7+. Clicking on an link to a web site in an e-mail works, but first generates an error message. "general failure" URL (web page address). Doing the same thing with IE 9 generates no error message. (Asus laptop with Windows 7 64 bit.)

HT2513 Adding nw calender to the IMac calender creates error message

On my IMac I want to add another calender. The one I also use on my Iphone. I get the following error message:
Het verzoek voor account 'iCloud' is mislukt.

Strange also is the fact that the calender already has items from the calender I want to include. The items that are given are only the recurring items.

I had the same issue, the calendar didn't show up after uppgrading my Iphone to IOS 5.0.1.
After reading several posts on different forums on the net (apple and synology forums). I begun to get a picture regarding my problem with caldav sync between my iPhone and my Synology diskstation. After testing the various recommended actions and settings, I found out that it was ONE setting in perticular that made the calendar and tasks show up on the iPhone.
When changing the setting under "E-mail, contacts, calendars" "Calendar - Syncronize - All events". Both the calendar and the Tasks started showing up in my iPhone. When I changed the setting back to "3 month", my preferred setting, both the Tasks and Calendar disappeared.
My conclusion is that it's the setting under E-mail ...... "Calendar - Syncronize" that makes the calendar appear and disappear from the calendar and task app.
I can't say if this is a bugg with the IOS 5 or the WEBDAV - CALDAV function on the Synology.
A fact is that the setting "syncronize: X months(weeks)" worked on previous versions of iPhone IOS (4.3.5).
I hope this exlpains and helps in fixing this bugg.

Submit button - "Unknown Error" message in acrobat

I have created a fairly large form. The submit button works in designer PDF preview, but if I open the form in acrobat and press the submit button it pops up a dialogue that says "Unknown Error" and the address I am sending the XML to.
This still happens if I change the button to XML, XDP, url-enc.. etc..
I have tried making a new form (ie. small amount data to send) with the same result.
What really gets me is that the last form I made (last week) worked fine.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I have figured this out.. kind of.
It was an XML over HTTP submit button and I was returning a php generated XML output of the posted data (so I could see it) - this works fine in LiveCycle preview, and in a web browser (acro activex), but not in Acrobat reader/pro as it's not a web browser and doesn't understand how to render the HTML/XML
This does lead me to the next question, whihc I will post seperatley as "XML submit URL response/return in acrobat"

SSIS Job creating error message.

I have a ssis job which is already running in production and our client has created a same job in the new server for our testing purposes. which is pointing to the correct config file in the new server and file paths are mentioned in the table for picking
the files, till now I don't have any issue it is performing as expected. but when you go to the job history and see it is saying the message similar to the below. but the path which I am getting in the below message is not in the config or the table defined
for the respective table to pick, but I observed on this thing that path is it is in the package at one of the tasks but that path is replaced while the package is running(I kept break points in the package for debug purpose and checked). but still

The first one is to use a tool called “nvspscrub.js”. Download nvspscrub.js then from cmd run: “cscript nvspscrub.js”, this will delete all vswitches, virtual NICs in the parent partition and will unbind the switch protocol from all physical NICs.
This script aborts when a class turns up undefined. Maybe this old script applies solely to Windows Server 2008. Dunno.

Hi Mark,
I just came across the same issue!
After troubleshooting, I deleted all my Virtual Switches and reinstalled my WiFi and Ethernet NIC drivers.
I'm now able to create the Virtual Switches without error.
