Installation error with SWPM 1.3 for 70x on Win/Ora

We face a vicious error when performing a system copy of a 7.01 system with the latest version of SWMP (70SWPM10SP01_3-20009707.sar).
At the database creation step (just after oradim has created the instance ) we get that error
sapinst_loginquirer.sys.log
FJS-00010 Could not get value for property
The solution was to edit the default pfile (D:\oracle\SID\11203\database\initiSID.ora) that was messed up.
The LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 parameter as some '&' character
log_archive_dest_1 = 'LOCATION=E:\oracle\BWT\oraarch\BWTarch'
just replace ' with '

Edit file ControllerKdbClient.dmp in your instdir directory
Find string ERROR in this file.... you will find CDATA [ERROR]...... change ERROR => OK
Restart installation with below command.
./sapinst SAPINST_SKIP_ERRORSTEP=true

I just tried installing from CD a recently purchased copy of CS5.5 design and web premium (student teacher). There were errors with the installation. You might try copying the installation files from the disc to the desktop and run the install from there or download the installation from here Download CS5.5 products
If you wanted to make a clean start, uninstall
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
and use the Cleaner Tool - Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
then reinstall

Installation Error with Contacts Group DS & Servic...

Hello,
just recieved my new N85 and installed the PC Suit 7.1 on the PC.
If i start PC Suit and at example kalendar, pc suit asks me for installing contacts group DS Plugin an to update service controllers from version 1.00(0) to 1.43(0). My N85 prompts everytime and asks me if i want, so if i confirm installation, it ends everytime after a few seconds with an installation error. - cannot install :-(
I read something about deinstalling the two older plugins first may possibly help, but i can't find it anywhere. Not in apps-manager (german version=program-manager). But it must be installed, because he seems to find version 1.00(0) on the N85.
can someone help me to solve this problem?

Good point, that happened to me on my previous phone, N80. Can't remember what the problem was but it was re-introduced. I would say backing up and restoring Contacts, Calendar and Notes, however, would probably not reintroduce problem. Maybe you could do a reset, upgrade the plug-ins, then restore your personal information?

Installation error with 9.2 deleting older version of Apple Software Update

Have tried installing directly from Apple.com and have tried downloading and
then installing. Get the error with either method. Have even tried to install
Quick Time standalone directly and from a Quick Time download with same error.
I've even tried ALL Apple's trouble shooting methods to no avail. When I attempt to remove most of the programs with windows the error received is network resource is unavailable. Even when I remove/delete etc following Apple's trouble shooting I hit a brick wall and am hoping for advice/solutions.

Installation errors with final cut 5

I just bought final cut studio 5 and I have no problem with the final cut studio installation cd but when it asks for the other cd's (apple loops, motion, dvd studio etc.) my cd drive pops the cd's out after a couple of seconds. It sounds like its trying to read the cd's but it can't please please help me! I am so frustrated.

I Have just sent this info to apple as well. I'm running a 2.8 8 core Macpro with 6 Gigs of RAM. OS is Leopard 10.5.8 Finalcut studio 3 specificaly Color 1.5. I was working with HDV 1280x720p @29.97fps
The footage was assembled and captured in final cut 7.0 and not altered in any significant way. No pans zooms or any effects. It was then sent to color for color correction and gamma stylization.
upon completion it was rendered and sent to Final cut. When reviewing the sequence I discovered black frames at the end of several clips. This is a music video for a country artist. So baking shots has no bearing on this. There are no effects shot that went to color. This is clearly a Color issue. I am not new at this. I have been doing color grading for some ten years or so and using COLOR for almost three years. This is the first time I've encountered this problem and only since installing FCS3 with Color 1.5.

Installation errors with cfdisk

cfdisk crashes and errors on two different hard drives on my otherwise fine laptop. It's a Dell Inspiron M5010 that's about 6 months old. I've run Windows and Ubuntu on it fine (Ubuntu needed some ACPI lovin'). Now when I go to install Arch I get an error from cfdisk
[ 223.083533] end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 0
There's a ton of these errors with different numbers at the beginning and different sectors.
Any help or pointing in the right direction would be much appreciated.

I did spent half day to sort out the issue. I have searched forums,google and notes but couldnt find the answer for Windows/SQL2005.
This morning I have finally solved the issue
I tried to do domain installation as local administrator but I didnt have access to sidadm profiles. When domain admin given me the access to sidadm profiles it worked.

i tried all the thinks listed and uninstalled then reinstalled creative suite 5.5 design premium and yet again this showed up at the end please help it mean nothing to me help!

Installation errors with Oracle 10g Express Edition client.

I want to use the Oracle 10g XE client on my Ubuntu (Lucid) laptop. I am following the installation instructions as mentioned at Installing Database Oracle XE Client. When I run the .sh file for my bash shell, I keep getting this error message:

So, I have been searching around to look for a method to enable the client installed on my laptop to connect to the database. Granted that, the server is not installed on my local machine. But, I am simply, unable to find any clues as to how do I specify the database name that the client should connect. The ORACLE_SID parameter needs to hold a database name; but, where are the IP address and port number mentioned for the database ? One site recommended that tnsping be used to check for database existence; whereas, tnsping is not installed. Then, the commonest hint that I keep bumping into - TNSNAMES.ORA file. Since I have only the client installed, I don't even see the network/admin folder (or whatever the path is to the .ora file) under /usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0.
It can't be this hard to connect to an Oracle server with only a itsy-bitsy Oracle installed on my local machine, hmmm ?

Please check SAP PAM whether db2 9.7 is supported on Windows 2003 R2.
www.service.sap.com/PAM.
If not, then choose the database version which is supported for Windows 2003 R2.
You may try with db2 9.1 or 9.5 .

the problems seems relater to accessing /tmp
as the local disk is not enough to use the default /tmp (the DB install will fail with full disk error as the local disk space is very low )
I've created a partition from new disk to /tmp which I have then mounted (default is nfs3) :
# mount /dev/xvdc1 /tmp
# mount
/dev/xvdc1 on /tmp type ext2 (rw)
the result of DB install into /tmp is :
# cd /tmp

if I umount /tmp but use the local /tmp
re-running the DB installer as user jjayet it does not raise the error above
and now local /tmp contains :

do you know how to use tmp over nfs with user jjayet so that the DB can install properly ?
it seems that the files created as user jjayet into mounted /tmp are not identified properly

I found the post you mention but it does not help
it does not explain the root cause of the problem but just propose a workaround to pass an option to installer which will popi\up an interactive messgae at install time
as installation is done automatically through ADE / DTE I cannot use this workaround
any expert in oracle DB install can help ?

RoboHelp 10 - Installation Errors with Third party payload installers

Win 7 (64-bit)
I had two errors occur while installing RoboHelp 10. (see below)
Based on the errors, I do have both Adobe Acrobat Pro SQL Server 2008 R2 installed on my system.
The software does launch without further error, so I am hoping these errors can be addressed.
Exit Code: 6

Have just made 2 attempts to download Elements 12. Each time at the end it gives a message saying Error extracting the product installer (Error 101). Please check for available disk space. I have an almost untouched hard drive. This is definitely NOT

ECM Connector + Turnkey Installation - Error with MySQL (NoClassDefFoundError)

Twice I have installed LiveCycle ES for JBoss Using Turnkey (following the documentation)... W2K3 Server, 2GB RAM, 32GB Hard Drive, Java 1.5.0.15.
The core services work good, but it's ECM Connector for Documentum that throws up an error. (Snippets of the server.log below)
I searched for aspectj.org namespace and it belongs to MySql. Am I supposed to copy a jar file somewhere? I searched the docs but couldn't find any mention.
Odd enough, the sample ECM Documentum Connector Services work, it's the standard ones that don't (Authentication, Connector, etc)
