Installer: subsequently exchange files or copy files

Hello,
I have a LV application which will used from different users in different configurations.
Up to now I always have to build a new installation when the config and sample files are changed before the CDs will delivered.
Now I´m looking for way to copy the config & sample files from a separate directory of the installation CD (not part of the LV project) to a specific directory on the PC (during the installation or at the first start of the LV application).
In the configuration of the NI Installer I don´t find a way to do this.
In my LV application I don´t have the information, where the installer source directory (f.e. D: ...) is located.
Does anybody have a idea how to configure the NI Installer to copy the files?
or
How I can get the information of the Installer source directory in my LV application?

Write a batch file which does the copying. Put the batch file in your project (you may not have to do this -- I do, but it might not be necessary). Configure your installer to run the batch file after your installation, as shown below. Check the "run executable at end of installation" and input the path to the batch file. The batch file will execute after the rest of your installation is complete.

JCO Installation librfccm.dll file

Hi,
I am trying to install JCO before installing integraiton kit. I downloaded 2.1.9 and 3.0.6 versions but i could not find librfccm.dll file.
Where can i find it? Also should i install 64 bit or 32 bit version? i have 64 bit server 2008 operating system.

Use the 32bit version of JCO 2.1.9. There are 2 DLL files: librfc32.dll and sapjco.dll.
Copy those into <Windows installation directory>\SysWOW64
You should copy also the JAR file under <BOBJ installation directory>\Tomcat55\shared\lib. If the path does not exist, just create it. Restart the tomcat after copying the file and BEFORE starting the installation of the int.Kit.

I am trying to install iiji reactor but it install but at then end it fails and it say following Feature: ijji Auto Installer Component: iAIFile1 File: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\Plugins\ . Please help how i can remove this file at plugins.

Run it and it'll remove the browser plugin from Firefox. Then re-run Reactor installer.

That got me closer, but I'm not quite there yet. On each ofthe two computers I've allowed all users File Sharing and Remote Management. Each computer has an address 192.168.1.2 (or 4). When I enter those addresses into "connect to server" the reponse is either 'drop box' or 'public folder'. So it seems that only very basic sharing is allowed. I have'nt set up a public folder on either one.

Please provide the exact steps you are conducting, on both devices, in the exact order you are making the attempt. Also, are both devices BBs? Further, please provide the exact OS level (all 4 octets please) of the BB's that are involved in the attempt.

Using Kuler + swatch exchange files in Dreamweaver CS3

What is the "best practice" for taking a swatch exchange file from Kuler and getting either the swatches into Dreamweaver CS3 or the html color values.
I like using Kuler to develop test color schemes for my web sites and switching css sheets to determine which colors I like best.
Right now the method I use is save the Kuler thems as swatch excange files, load the swe file into my swatch palette in photoshop, get the html values with the eye dropper tool take those values and paste into my CSS file. Is there an easier way?
Any help is much appreciated.

To get swatch values, an alternate to using the picker tool in the product is to directly use the website. You can ge the swatch values by selecting a theme in the browse view and then clicking on the make changes ot this theme button which will take you to the theme creation view with all the color values located at the bottom of the page under the corresponding swatch.

Automating Oracle Server Installation using response file

I am automating Oracle Server Installation using response file. No Installer page should be displayed, except 'Optional Config Tools' page at the end of the installation showing the list of optional configuration tools e.g Net Configuration Assistant, Database Configuration Assistant, and Intelligent Agent Configuration Assistant. All other pages would not be displayed.
My response file doesn't seem to work this way. During installation, it displays the 'Create Database' page asking whether you want Database Configuration Assistant to be automatically launched at the end of the installation for database creation. How do I prevent this page from displaying, while selecting default option (Yes) using response file?

Provide info about the OS you are using and Oracle version.

How a java program talk to VB6.0 program and exchange files??

I just got a project that ask for make two programs, one using vb6.0 and another one using java. These two programs will communicate and exchange files. It sounds strange. Can I use corba? if so, can any one give me the details of step by step. Or some other solutions. Thanks in advance.

I do not know why you are stuck with such a architecture but i am sure is that this is not a pleasant situation. VB and java are way apart.
Anyway given with the situation and assuming that you just want to exchange files (not variable or inter method calls)..
Solution 1) Fix up two different directories for Java and VB application. And Each application puts files on the other directory when it wants to exhange files. Respective applications keep checking their directories for new files and its kicks of its processing once it finds a new file.
Your exchange file contains all the detials in the agreed format. The new files are loaded in the application and it gets all the details of what it needs to do.
(WITH SOLUTION 2 to 4 you can make inter method calls)
Solution 2) Look into JNI(Java Native interface) through which Java can call a native method in a DLL. That dll is loaded inside the JVM and executed. The dll can also call Java method. And the DLL can communicate to the VB Applicaiton through remote method call or COM interface.
Solution 3) If you get a chance to work with .NET architecture then web services is the one which you can try. VB and Java application can interact with each other through Web services.
Solution 4) There are a few Java to COM bridge available in the market. Write a com object with VB and iteract between the Java code and the COM Code.
These are all the options i can come up with. But any of the solution will not be fun as all will have limitations and learning curve to it.

Error writing to file messages when itunes installation is removing files

I receive almost error writing to file messages when the itunes installation is removing files. I simply click on the retry button without making any access changes and the installation moves on. All of the .rbf files (the first 10 are listed below) are in C:\Config.Msi that errors. Please tell me how to prevent these errors in Windows Vista.

The nearest I can find is there is a conflict between the Windows Backup program (which creates zip files) and Stuffit, which also creates zip files. Have you been using both those programs?

my nokia 5800xpressmusic which shows installation failed or file corrupted on installing any sis/sisx apps which i was able to install it before. Once my phone got stuck and then i tried *#7370# and after when i tried to install any app or download from store the mesage appears as file corupted or instalation failed. Please help me.,

Re-install the Firmware using the Nokia Suite and see if it gets resolved.
