Integrating jBPM with JBoss?

I have to integrate jBPM with JBoss. It has been specifed in the documentation of jBPM that, the runtime libraries of jBPM can be put into global classpath of the application server. what does they mean by global classpath? How it can be set? Any idea? Thanks for ur reply.

for JBoss and maybe other application server, it's the lib directory of your server.
Or even in you application's lib directory.

Integrating JMS providers with JBoss

Hi.
I am trying to integrate a foreign JMS provider to JBoss. I looked at the docs and all - and even managed to deploy an mbean that puts the factories and queues into the jndi - after which anyone who does a lookup() on it is capable of using the foreign provider.
However, trying to put an MDB - it doesn't work anymore. the MDB does not register itself on the destination it's supposed to - and therefore never receives the messages. The documentation is not very clear about how to do all that - does anyone have any experience with that?

Jdeveloper EarDeployment With JBoss

I am new to this thread as well as to this framework ADF. Kindly someone let me know how to deploy the ear which is been created with Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 With Integrated JBOSS 5. Now i want to deploy the same ear using admin console of Jboss 5 server. Kindly let me know what steps i need to do for deploying.
I am getting deployment incomplete error when i am trying with admin console of Jboss.

OracleAQ JCA with JBoss

JBoss EAP 4.x and 5.x ships with a generic JMS JCA RA that can be used to integrate with most JMS compliant providers (e.g. ActiveMQ, SonicMQ, etc.). The key to integration using this generic JMS JCA RA is creating a properly configured JMSProviderLoader. The JMSProviderLoader was designed to be used with JMS providers which follow the JNDI recommendations outlined in section 4.2 of the JMS 1.1 specification. Unfortunately, Oracle AQ is not known to follow these recommendations which means the generic JMS JCA RA that ships with JBoss EAP cannot be used to integrate with it.
There are other providers that do not follow the JMS 1.1 recommendations as well, but they typically provide their own JCA RA to allow easy integration with other application servers.
Oracle AQ's administered JMS objects (e.g. connection factories and destinations) must be looked up via a database connection (or perhaps LDAP) rather than JNDI. Nothing shipped with JBoss EAP can do this.
Does Oracle hava a JCA resource adapter that they might provide for integration with other Java EE application servers like JBoss EAP.

Ear file cant be deployed from eclipse with jboss 3.2.7

I am using eclipse with JBOSS IDE1.5
I want to work with EJB in eclipse. I have created configured all neccessary directory structure , xml files and jar,war,ear files(using XDoclet Configureations).
But i am not able to deploy my "ear" file . At that time i am getiing following message in JBOSS Console.

Atlast it worked. The problem was that in my ejb-jar.xml I was referring to 2_0.dtd. I have changed that to 2.1 and it worked.
Older ejb-jar.xml had:
<!DOCTYPE ejb-jar PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Enterprise JavaBeans 2.0//EN" "C:/jboss-4.0.1sp1/docs/dtd/ejb-jar_2_0.dtd">
I changed that to:
<ejb-jar xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee" version="2.1" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/ejb-jar_2_1.xsd">
And it worked.

Problem in Blazeds with Jboss Clustering ( Mod_JK with SSL )

Hi,
 We are running our flex application in jboss clustering environment with the help of Apache mod_jk(Apache Web server as front end with mod_ssl enabled). We are using the SecureAMFChannel as we deploy the application in SSL. We use the RemoteObject for communicating with Java.
The Application is running fine when we have only one node of JBoss. But once we add one more node to the cluster the application throws the following exception .
Duplicate HTTP-based FlexSession error: A request for FlexClient 'FDCA49A7-9317-4D8A-881F-9248B1136E7A' arrived over a new FlexSession 'C9C563B8266A03C2207C00796CD7DFF1', but FlexClient is already associated with FlexSession '8A328320F5C530D55E94568996A1B552', therefore it cannot be associated with the new session.
As I am maintaing the session in the server, I need to use the JBoss cluster for session replication. I heard that flex clustering is not needed as we have mod_jk and it will do all the stuff for us.
I checked with simple application without any session data also then too I faced the same problem.
After the very first login, I can see 2 session created simultaneously and destroyed. I checked the application whether it calls twice before the session is created, but it is calling only once.
Also when application connects with server2 and if I down the server2 my flex application throws the error that the server is not found, It is not detecting the other server.But it works once I refresh the browser.

I enabled the sticky session in Mod_jk .
It is working when the connection is not secure(http) in both apache web server and jboss web server ). But when the connection is https the above problem is happening .

ALE/IDOC and RFC/BAPI Integration Scenarios with SAP DS for ESA v3

we are planning two PoCs of Integration Plattforms. One of our major requirement set is SAP Integration into our existing SOA.
Because we also have R/3 4.7 Systems in production, we are planning to test ALE/IDOC and RFC/BAPI Integration scenarios with these Integration Plattforms.
My question is:
We are looking for are smart solution to get a SAP Test Environment, where we can test ALE/IDOC und RFC/BAPI Integration scenarios.
It is possible to do this with SAP DS for ESA v3 or shall we better use IDES for that purpose?

This is our scenario. We are doing an integration of SAP HR r/3 system with the CRM system. We need housing information details of the employees which we have in custom infotype 9310 in SAP HR system and we need those details in the CRM system. So am planning out for an ALE/IDOC approach for the integration and gonna maintain the 9310 details in a custom table. In the CRM system, we gonna build a BOL layer for accessing the 9310 details. Also i'm preparing a HLD for this process. I wanna read and go through few same HLD's before i submit my proposal to my client. Please suggest me and help me out.

Problem in starting Integration service with DAC 11g

Hi friends,
Im @ the step of registering integration service and the repository service in DAC 11g. I can start the Repository service well in DAC, but facing issue in starting integration service with DAC, while trying to test connection im getting a message like
Failure connecting to BIA_IS!
Im not sure the reason to this problem in DAC. I have also setted the necessary environment variables like INFA_HOME and INFA_DOMAINS_FILE referring the domains.infa file like

Hi guys,
The issue is sorted out. The below are the two precautions to be considered.
*) Make sure of INFA_HOME/Server/bin exist @ the end in the PATH variable.
*) For each and every change in the PATH variable, it is better to restart the services(both infa and DAC) then and there for the changes to take effect.

Install OIM 9.0.2 on Linux with JBOSS or OAS 10.1.3.1

Hi all,
I try to install OIM on RHEL 4 update 3 .
First I installed OIM 9.0.2 in Oracle 10.2.0.1 with JBOSS and I obstacled with errors during compilling adapters of OEBS and OID from Connectors Pack.
After that I desided to install OIM in existing Oracle 10.2.0.1 on OAS 10.1.3.1 during installation I obstacle with follow error "Oracle Identity Manager installer has found that Oracle Application Server is not running. So, start Oracle Application Server and then proceed with installation."
I tested my OAS and I's starting
Please give me advise about my abilities with installation OIM 9.0.2 on Linux.

After all, I installed OIM 9.0.2 on OAS 10.1.3.1 but I have same problems which I have with JBOSS installation:

Integrating FTP with JDeveloper

Can anyone help me with integrating FTP with JDeveloper (10.1.3)
I am developing jsp pages for a web site. the website runs on a Sun Solaris UNIX server.
At present i develop my jsp pages in JDeveloper and save then to a file on my PC. I then have to use an external tool (Ultraedit) to FTP them to my webserver for testing.
I have seen in this forum that there is something called 'ant' which will allow you to FTP direct from JDeveloper. I know zero about 'ant' and after spending a couple of hours trawling arround the web i'm still no wiser.
Can someone give me a hands held, idiot friendly explanation of what i have to do to integrate FTP?

Here is a basic explanation of the FTP task in ANT.
You can just create a new Ant build file in your project, add this task with the correct parameters and then right-click run on the build file.
Another options is to use JDeveloper to create standard WAR file for deployment and then passing it to the server to deploy.

Oracle Apps Adapter with jboss

Hi,
I'm using BPEL 10.1.2 with JBoss and I'm having trouble getting the Apps Adapter to work. I've tried configuring AppsAdapter-ds.xml in the deploy directory but I get the error message below when I invoke the process. Basically, the connection URL is invalid ? Looks ok to me, am I missing something. All the doco, even that with JBoss only talks about oracle BPEL engine. Not particularly helpful.

I don't know if this is the answer or not, but at least worth a try.
A few years ago, JBoss was VERY unforgiving if installed on a windows machine with a space in the path. Most JBoss functionality would work fine, but in some situations, it would complain about the URL, just as it has in your case. It looks to me as if you do have a space in your path. I don't know if they ever got around to fixing it (I filed the original bug on the JBoss bug system). It's at least worth a try, or at least a search through the JBoss site to see if this issue still exists.

Integrating Apex with Cocoon (does it make pdf from taking data from DB)

I integrated Apex with appache with cocoon. Its working fine with reports but i want it to work with form on a table or view.The steps below which i have followed for integrating Apex with Cocoon
Steps of pdf Printing of Report with cocoon:
1) Download and unzip the following needed files in D:\Apex_fop directory.
2) Open your command prompt .
Change the directory to D:\Apex_fop\cocoon-2.1.11.
Set the Java_Home environment variable as: set JAVA_HOME= C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_21
then type build war
3) After getting the prompt back as D:>Apex_fop>cocoon-2.1.11>
Copy coocon.war file from the folder D:\Apex_fop\cocoon-2.1.11\build\cocoon.
Paste this file into webapps subdirectory in main tomcat directory having path as D:\APEX_FOP\apache-tomcat-6.0.26\webapps.....place it in the top
level of webapps directory.
4) Now just startup tomcat as D:>APEX_FOP>apache-tomcat-6.0.26>bin>startup.bat
The cocoon.war file will automatically uncompressed as directory.
5) To change the port of apache tomcat , edit apache-tomcat-6.0.26\conf\server.xml & change port attribute of Connector element from 8080 to 8181.
Just check whether Tomcat is running or not as http://localhost:8181/
& to check cocoon type http://localhost:8181/cocoon/
6) Now copy fop_post directory & paste it undes new cocoon directory in webapps having path as D:\APEX_FOP\apache-tomcat-6.0.26\webapps
\cocoon.
7) Now you need to do some apex settings as follows:
In APEX, just log in as ADMIN into apex/apex_admin and went to Instance Settings and did the following:
- Print Serverr: Standard Support
- Print Server Protocol: HTTP
- Print Server Host Address:localhost
- Print Server Port: 8181
- Print Server Script: /cocoon/fop_post
In your APEX application, in the Regions section, Click on the Print link next to your report and do the following settings:
- Enable Report Printing: Yes
- Link Label: Print
- Response Header: Report Settings
- View File As: Attachment
- Output Format: PDF
- Report Layout: Default Report Layout
- Print URL: f?p=&APP_ID.:1:&SESSION.:FLOW_XMLP_OUTPUT_R1063230002781575
8) Open up the Report Page and click Print , You will get the pdf report.
But my requirement is bit different. I have made form on a table or view , so when i am submitting my form the record is getting updated in my database and at the same time a new button is appearing at same page as i have branched it in same page. The new button name is print. I want when i click this print button it should print the record which submitted recently. How can i enable the print functionality on form. Its simple in report but how can it be done on form?
Looking forward for this to know wthr it is achievable or not and if yes what all are the ways?

You could redirect to a report page instead of to the form page. Then simply print the report.
This makes sense. You would have one page for entering the data and another page for displaying and printing it.

Problem in integrating xMII with VC

hi Experts,
My xMII server Version is 11.5
I followed this document:

Connection test is successful, after configured System.
I am getting error while FindData Seach in VC,
Inputs given are,
System: XMII_JDBC (this is my system)
Look for: Look for a table
the error is, Error-2305 Cannot retrive catalogs and schemas; check the connection to the selected systems Cannot access JDBC metadata 
I think i made mistake in connectionURL, but connection test is successful.
Please guide me, where i made mistake.

I gave like this::

and then like this

I tried using all the URL shown above, but it is not listing the Querys in VC .
Can u guide me how can i form that Connection URL ..
