Integration Process Instances

Hello Dudes,
                        Is there a way where we can check the Integration process instances executed/running
till date.
Is there any way to achieve this.
Thanks in Advance
Rajesh

Hello,
             I have executed the integration process scenario and i checked in the transaction SWWL
with all possibilities but still no luck
FYI , i am working on PI7.0
Is some configuration missing any clue?
Thanks
Rajesh

  • Split message mapping to integration process

    Hi,
    I faced an error when trying to send a multiple message (after a message split) to an integration process and I would like to know the possibilities to resolve this issue.
    What I want to do (more details below) :
    1. Get an order list from a database
    2. Split the order list in multiple orders (via a multi-mapping)
    3. For each order, create a new integration process instance
    The error I got is:
    Messages in multi message format can be sent to one adapter engine only
    The solutions I thought of:
    - Creating a new integration process / Update the existing integration process in order to execute the message split in the process engine
    - Create a new service (or business system) as a receiver instead of the process that points back to another XI service and set-up the appropriate configuration between the second service and the existing integration process
    My question: is there another solution than the two above?
    Thanks in advance
    Here are the details of what I did:
    1. A JDBC request returns an order list like:
    <resultSet>
       <row>
          <order>[...order 1 details...]</order>
       </row>
       <row>
          <order>[...order 2 details...]</order>
       </row>
    </resultSet>
    2. During interface determination phase, a multi-mapping is executed to produce several orders:
    <order>[...order 1 details...]</order>
    <order>[...order 2 details...]</order>
    3. The target receiver is an integration process who take as initial document only one order ; so, having two orders as a result of the split, I would like XI to create two new instances of my integration process, each receiving exactly one order.
    And there's when the above error occured.

    Hi Alexis
    Creating a new integration process is suggested as your target receiver is your current integration process and along with this splitting and passing data to multiple receiver can be done in integration process.
    Thanks
    Mitesh

  • Integration Process Parameters not refreshed

    Hi,
    I have an integration process which takes parameters. You can configure these in the integration builder in the Integration Process Communication Component.
    I found that although I change these parameters , their new values are not taken into account in the integration process instances that are started after the change is activated.
    How can I force the integration process to use the new values ? Reactivating the integration process does not help.
    Actually, reactivating the integration process changes the integration process but the message mappings and operation mappings do not use the new values...
    I also completely flushed the cache but it does not help either...
    Thanks.

    Have you also deleted the Integration Process in ID and reimported it?

  • Programmatical access to process instance information in WL Integration

    Hi,
    I am looking for a possibility to get process instance information from a business process I designed in WebLogic Workshop 8.1.
    I would like to get process instance information via SOAP with a web service client.
    Is there anyone who can help me in this? Thanks!
    Best regards,
    Denis :-)

    There is a MBean for getting this information. Just build a Webservice, where you get the ProcessMBean and send the message back to the client.

    Could you please help me? I have search through the forum but I couldn't find anything that solves my problem. As I've read in this post (https://kr.forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=10596716), I've tried to set the value of the variable bpel.config.transaction to requiresNew instead of required but it isn't working.
    I suppose it has to do with the new version of the server but I can't find anything to solve it :(
    Thank you in advance!!! I hope you can help me!
    Best regards.

    Frank,
    I tried to follow the example. This is the file: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18941_01/tutorials/jdtut_11r2_53/labs/restsolution.zip
    The other part of the exercise is to develop an ADF Client.
    At "Step 5: Create the Model Components" when I create the URL_Get the error appears and don't create the datacontrol.
    I check the links and RESTConn and are OK.
    I hope this helps.

  • Spliting a Message to reuse an Integration Process made for a single one.

    Hi,
    I have a Integration Process that works well for a XML message of the type:
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    My BPM process the data for the Person correctly.
    Now I want to be able to tried more than one person per input message, some thing like:
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    I build a 1:n Interface Mapping that creates me the following structure:
    <Messages>
    <Message1>
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    </Message1>
    <Message2>
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    </Message2>
    <Message3>
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    </Message3>
    </Messages>
    But when I use a ForEach Block in my new BPM, it doesn't work if there is more then 1 person in the input. The error message I got is:

    Does someone have any idea or a suggestion on how to reuse my BPM that works for a single person?
    Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    ok no success for the moment, so I will try to describe my BPM more precisely:
    The DT I use can contain up to 1'000 PERSON record inside a unique EMESAGE reccord (the root element)
    My containers: (all are of type Abstract Interface of my DT)
    Input (Process)
    requestList(Process) Multiline
    request(block)
    response(block)
    Receive Request Step
    Message: input
    Start Process: Yes
    Mode : Async.
    Split (Transformation) Step
    IM: My Interface that does the 1Message with N PERSON records to N Messsages with 1 PERSON record
    Create new transaction: Yes
    Source: input
    Target: requestList
    Block Step
    Mode: ForEach
    Block Start: New transaction
    Block End: New transaction
    Multiline_Element: RequestList
    CurrentLine: request
    No end condition
    Inside the block
    My Sync Send call to a BAPI
    Source: request
    Target: response
    A final Async Send step
    Message: response.
    The workflow stop at the Transform step, as if hte fact that many messages come in result could not be handled back. Here are the details for the Interface mapping used in the transformation step:
    Source: MyDataTypeAbstractAsynchroneInterface
    Occurrence: 1
    Destination:
    Occurrences: 0:unbounded
    Mapping program: the following XSLT:

  • Behavior of integration process after system restart

    Hello,
    we have an integration process used for correlation of two asychronous messages.
    So if the first message is sent out, the second message that should be correlated will arrive approx. 5 hours later.
    What would happen if the system is restarted after the first message is sent out, but before the second message comes in? Are all active process instances deleted during a system restart or is there some kind of persistence mechanism?
    Thank you for your advice.

  • Integration process communicating with guided procedure

    Hi everybody,
    I read that it is possible to exchange messages between Integration Processes and SAP Business Workflow. Is it also possible to trigger and communicate to a guided procedure in a Integration process?
    Thanks,
    Mane

    Integration processes can integrate with anything which uses one of the protocols supported by XI adapters (and you could even enhance this, by creating your own custom adapters).
    E.g., to integrate with SAP Workflow, you could call a standard BAPI or a Z RFC that executes the desired workflow (or feed some step of a already in-process workflow).
    For Guided Procedures, you could basically use anything that the UI frameworks within SAP portfolio support. For example, if you develop a WebDynpro-based GP, you could make the WebDynpro consume a Web Service that, for instance, triggers a BPM execution (you expose the 1st receiver step of the BPM, which should be a open sync/async bridge, as a web service through a sender soap adapter).
    That's just one example.
    Regards,
    Henrique.

  • Getting Process Instance Information and Task Properties in a process

    Iam using WebLogic8.1 Integration BPM feature. I've designed a Worklist based application.
    In the business process, i've to call a java class method from the business process
    which takes the process instance and task related properties (viz. the task id,
    task name, the current actor etc.). How could i supply these values from within
    a business process.

    You can get the task infromation by calling the task control method TeskInfo getTaskInfo()

  • Initiating BPM Process Instances from External Web Service Call

    I'm attempting to update the HelloWorld example so that I can create an instance of the process from an External Web Services Call rather than via the Workspace. Our current SOA Architecture is configured so that all BPM instances are managed through a .NET SmartClient via the Service Bus and the use of PAPI W/S and so I'm wishing to recreate this capability in the new BPM.
    I understand the replacement for PAPI W/S is Human Workflow so I've therefore updated and republished the HelloWorld Example with an Exposed 'TaskService' Service for the Human Task within the BPM Process.
    I've then attempted to reference the TaskService through our existing BPM, and have been able to import a number of generic WSDL's as follows:
    Task Service
    http://vmaquatestapp2:7001/integration/services/TaskService/TaskServicePort?WSDL
    Task Metadata Service
    http://vmaquatestapp2:7001/integration/services/TaskMetadataService/TaskMetadataServicePort?WSDL
    Task Query Service
    http://vmaquatestapp2:7001/integration/services/TaskQueryService/TaskQueryService?WSDL
    When I examine the available operations for these generic services, there are quite a lot, each of which have a fairly complex schema. I believe I should be using the TaskService: InitiateTask Operation to create an instance of my BPM Process but my questions are:
    - Is the above the correct method of interacting with BPM Instances from an external system such as the Service Bus?
    - Does anyone have any examples of a basic XML payload that would initiate a process instance?

    I created an process with a message start event and can call it from an external web service call. I can also pass input arguments and map those to process data objects. However I can not find how to return data as response to the external web service call as e.g. the process instance id.
    Is it possible to this?

  • How to get process instance activity information

    We have the following need:
    The process instance will be created either manually or by integration from another system. It is not possible to have two instances running for the same process, so we want to check if there is already one instance running for a given process. The business information that identifies the process uniquely are attributes of the process data object.
    We need to find out how to:
    1) check if there is already existing instance for the process giving the business information that identifies it
    2) check if the existing instance is running or is ended/terminated
    We want to know if there is any existing API we may use to achieve the needs above, what are them and where we can find more information of their use.
    We have tried searching in the API documentation what methods could be of use but we were not able to identify by the existing documentation any one that could attend our needs.
    We also didn't find any topic in this forum about it.
    If possible please give us some examples of use.
    Version: Oracle BPM 11g

    Hi,
    In the SOA Suite 11g you can use the Java API together with Composite Sensor to achieve these behavior:
    1. First, create a composite sensor in the operation that create the process composite instance, initializing the sensor with the business information that identifies the process uniquely. This composite sensor can be used to search for the composite instance either on EM or via API. For more information about how to create Composite Sensor, see http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/sca_compsensors.htm#insertedID0
    2. Using the Java API (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10659/toc.htm), search for the composite instance by the Composite Sensor, as explained at: http://blogs.oracle.com/soabpm/2009/08/soa_suite_11g_-apipart_3_-_f.html. With a reference to the composite instance, you can check its internal components states.
    The following libs must be imported in your java project:
    - <middleware_home>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.fabriccommon_11.1.1/fabric-common.jar
    - <middleware_home>/oracle_common/soa/modules/oracle.soa.mgmt_11.1.1/soa-infra-mgmt.jar
    - <middleware_home>/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/weblogic.jar
    - <middleware_home>/oss_11gr1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.fabric_11.1.1/oracle-soa-client-api.jar
    - <middleware_home>/oracle_common/webservices/wsclient_extended.jar
    I hope this can help.

  • BPM11g How to customize the title column of a BPM process instance?

    Hi, everyone.
    In the process track panel of Workspace there is a table with process instances in it.
    Users shall look into this panel and find information about their processes.
    One of the columns of this table is named "title" and the content of this column is like "instance #" + process instance number + process type name.
    This title is of little use to end users while they are trying to find a certain business process.
    I want to customize this column so I can put some key business word in the content but I do not know how.
    Anyone can help? Thank you.
    Edited by: Matt Wang on Apr 19, 2011 10:32 PM

    Hi Matt
    1. For Flex Fields, please see the below link. Basically you login into bpm/workspace as Adminstrator and then you can do this.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklist.htm#CHDFDHGD (Latest version 11.1.1.4)
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklist.htm#CHDFDHGD (Older version 11.1.1.1)
    2. As admin user only you can create a new custom view, by clicking + icon on left side. For this new View, you can define the name, columns you want to show in this new view, any particular sort order etc etc. Then you can set some privleges also for this new View. After this, this View should now be visible for all the normal regular uses (non admin user). I guess there may be a way to make these custom views as the default views also for a specific user or role. I have not explored this though.
    In the above links see the section: Section 30.3, "Customizing the Task List Page"
    3. In EM Console, we may not be able to do any customizations. But if your intention is to search for list of tasks with specific criteria, in EM console itself for your process, on right side, there should be a tab like Intances. There you can specify your search criteria and Search. I am not aware of how to show the data in the Name column for the instances listed.
    Thanks

  • Process instances terminate upon application redeployment

    Hello all,
    I have been trying to find an answer for this question in the forums, but to no result.
    I have created a proof-of-concept process and deployed it on the server. The process works just fine, containing Client Request controls, creating Tasks etc.
    The problem is when, during development, I make some change in some helper class or the procees itself and redeploy the application. Even when I just rebuild/redeploy w/o any changes.
    Then, any running process instances (e.g. blocked, waiting for a Client Response or a Task onComplete) are terminated w/o any message, at least not a message that I can see.
    Is this a "feature" or have I forgotten to setup something correctly?
    If this is a feature, why aren't the open Task Controls also terminated, like the process instances that created them are?
    How can I prevent the process instances from being auto-terminated upon application redeployment?
    My process' properties:
    - freeze on failure: true
    - persistent: always
    - on sync failure: rethrow
    - retry count: 1
    - retry delay: <empty>
    - stateless: false
    - binding: webservice
    - version strategy: loosely coupled
    My configuration:
    - Weblogic Integration 8.5 SP6
    - Weblogic Server 8.1 SP6
    - Back-end DB: the default DB server, that comes with the BEA installation
    I would greatly appreciate any help/suggestions/links, as I find this feature/error very frustrating.
    My apologies if this has already been answered before.
    Thank you for your time,
    S.

    OK, to answer my own question.
    It was not a "problem", but a "feature".
    I had the server starting in development mode, so by default process instances are terminated upon redeployment.
    Editing the setDomainEnv.cmd and setting
    set PRODUCTION_MODE=true
    solved my "problem".
    Hope this helps s/o in the future.

It is a simple flow involving dequeuing 850 transaction message by the AQ adapter and processing the message through Receive, Transform and Invoke activities to invoke a PL/SQL procedure to insert data into the Order Management Open Interface tables.
    The issue we are facing is that the BPEL process instance is getting generated twice resulting in duplicate rows in the interface tables.
