Hi,
Please check the t.code OBV2 where we actually assign the GL accounts against which we want the interest to be posted. Also check the GL account in FS00, if the interest indicator created is mentioned or not.
Thank you,
Shilpa

  • Incoming direct debit file not posted automatically

    hi friends,
i have a problem with the Direct debit file there were some statements not posted automatically. the statements used to post automatically before but suddenly i see they are not being posted. i have checked the posting rules they use "Incoming payments with subledger clearing" i have no clues why these statements failed to post automatically.
any suggestions will be really appreciated.
    thanks in advance

    Hello
I do not know which country you operate from, but it seems to be that you are triying to use a "payment medium workbench" DME generator that is not created (Format tree is not created)
I think that you have assigned a PMW DME generator in Payment Method that is not created in the PMW Library.
    Possible solutions:
    - use "traditional" program as RFFOXX_D
    - create the PMW in the Payment Medium Workbench

  • Interest Calculation on posting date and due date

    Hi
I want vendor interest calculation on due date as well as posting date. Let me know how to get it. According to me only its possible on the basis of one date only.

    HEllo!
In the report RFINTITAR, you use the interest indicator customizing:
IMG   > Prepare Item Interest Calculation   > Ref. Date
    (table V_T056UX)   >  field Ref.
(FI Item Interest Calculation: Reference Date)
You have the possibility to define what You need to be considered as
incoming payment due date, choosing between:
1 Value Date (or Baseline Date for Net Payment)
    2 Document Date
    3 Posting Date
    4 Payment Baseline Date
As you can use one interest indicator per customer/vendor you can use only of the dates is used. But, in this
program you can use the BADI FI_INT_CUS01. Please, check if you can meet your business requirements using the methods
    of the BADI.

  • Controlling Document not posted upon GRS of PO with account assignt type A

My company is going to upgrade our SAP ERP system from version 4.6C to ECC5.
In version 4.6C, when a Purchase Order (PO) is created and assigned to:
    (1) project wbs element
    (2) asset
Upon GRS, the following accounting documents are normally posted:
    (1) Accounting document
    (2) Profit center doc.
    (3) Spec. purpose ledger
    (4) Asset transaction
    (5) Cost accounting doc.
Following, if I want to view the Actual Cost line items posted for the project wbs element in mind, I am able to view the details via transaction CJ74.
However, in ECC5, simulating the same scenario as described earlier, i.e. a Purchase Order (PO) is created and assigned to:
    (1) project wbs element
    (2) asset
Upon GRS, the following accounting document is NOT posted:
    (1)Cost accounting doc.
(which in ECC5 is termed Controlling Document)
As a result, I am unable to track the Actual Cost line item of the wbs element via transaction CJ74.
This is because in normal instances, a corresponding CO document posted for the FI document posted upon GRS. What I understand is that CJ74, pulls data from CO tables and because CO tables aren't updated, I can't view this statistical cost postings.
I would appreciate if anyone could advise the following:
    (1) Why this occurs in ECC5
    (2) How to rectify the problem
    Thank you.

    Hello,
Make sure in OBYC, for key WRX, you have maintained the GL accounts.

  • Parked Document not Posting Automatically

    Hello,
I'm using custom workflow for the Invoice Parking Document. When I test in Sandbox, the document gets posted after the release. But in Quality, when i test the workflow, the posting doesn't happening automatically after release is set. The status is In Process. Is there any config have to be done for this.
    Binding all is correct.
Can anyone knows what is the problem ??
    Regards,
    JMB

    JMB,
create a new parked document. go to swo1 and instantiate the object, and then try to post it by calling the method. If you are able to post here then there could be a problem at the workflow level when it calls the method. But if you are not, then there seems to be a problem with the method. Are you using the standard method 'POST' or have u developed a custom one?

  • F.05 Foreign Currency valuation not posted automaticall to GL account.

    Hi,
When we are running F.05 the GL account  3170700 u2013 Gds Recd not Invoiced GRAN is not posting automatically.
Though the GL account is matained in TO30H table and included in the variant that using for F.05 run.
Kindly help me to understand what would be the root cause for not posting automatically.
    Thanks,
    Hari.

    Hi,
If you have a G/L account which have open item management feature, system calculate valuation for each open line items.
For example 2000100 G/L account has open item management and their line items like below.
My local currency is TRY and I posted all items in EUR after that I valuating this line items.
    A. line items
Doc Currency Amount : 1.000.000,00 EUR
    Posting date exchange rate : 2,00000 (EUR/TRY)
Posting date local currency amount : 2.000.000,00 TRY
    End-of-month exhange rate : 2,50000 (EUR/TRY)
    Difference : 500.000,00 TRY
    B. line items
Doc Currency Amount : 2.000.000,00 EUR
    Posting date exchange rate : 2,20000 (EUR/TRY)
Posting date local currency amount : 4.400.000,00 TRY
    End-of-month exhange rate : 2,50000 (EUR/TRY)
    Difference : 600.000,00 TRY
System calculate and post valuation for each line items and system using balance sheet adjustment account for posting. If you manage your account (like 200100) with open item, you couldn't post valuation on this account. System using balance sheet adjustment account and loss/gain account for posting. You can customizing this steps via OBA1 (then choose KDF).
In same account, If you don't manage with open item, system valuating the balance. In this example 3000101001 account has 3.000.000,00 EUR balance amount. When you execute F.05 with option "Valuate G/L account Balances" you can see only one line items for each account and their currency on F.05 output.
    A. line items
Total Foreign Currency Amount : 3.000.000,00 EUR
Total Local currency amount : 6.400.000,00 TRY
    End-of-month exhange rate : 2,50000 (EUR/TRY)
    Difference : 1.100.000,00 TRY
Then when you post the valuation document, system using 200100 account and loss/gain account for posting
    Thanks,

  • Exchange Rate is not posting to respective GL account

    Hello,
My user is trying to post Invoice receipt at rate 0.6(Ex.Rate) for $.1000 on June 10. Then post Goods receipt on June 12 system rate is 0.7 but system is taking current rate and not IR rate. If it takes current rate it is also OK but it is not posting to exchange gain or loss account.
Can anyone help me out in this error....
    Regards
    KK

    Dear Krishna,
During MIRO postings, if any exchange gain or loss arise then it is treated as Price Difference Account and goes to the G/L Account you have configured in PRD Key in OBYC TCode. If it is not configured then SAP posts this exchange gain / loss amount on the original expense or stock G/L Account which would have been used in MIGO (Goods Receipt) posting.
Realized Exch Gain / Loss Amount is only posted when you carry out the payments to vendors. However you can create unrealized exch gain / loss using TCode FAGL_FC_VAL as a monthly process to meet your GAAP Requirement.

  • Condition type in PO not posting to desired transaction key.

    Dear experts,
I was wondering whether someone could help me with the following:
I have defined a condition type for which specific additive costs for a purchased finished good should be added. The material is valued at standard price with the specifics that prior to the price calculation via transaction CK74N, additive costs are calculate and then added when executing CK11N that is composed of the price of the purchased finished good and the additive costs. We have created a condition type to break down the additive costs in the one hand and the material cost on the other. We want to have these costs to be posted against a specific cost account. We have created a transaction (via OBYC) for that and added it to the calculation schema. However, when posting the Goods Receipt, the additive costs (difference between the standard price and material price in the PO) are not posted to the desired transaction/GL account but to the price difference account (transaction PRD).
Could anyone please provide me with the customizing steps I should follow to succeed in the flow we want to implement? Can this desired outcome be done via standard or should any User Exit or programming be done to get the expected results?
    Thanks in advance and regards,
    David.

    Hi again,
Do you know what steps we should take in order to modify the standard functionality to have the part of the standard cost asigned to the condition type post to its transaction and not to the standard PRD transaction?

  • GL Master -Open Item Management, Post Automatically

    Hi All,
    Hear I have a question.
    A) Why should we select either 1.Openitem Management 2.Post Automatically or bouth to a G/L Master.
    OR
    B) In which situation we have to select either 1.Openitem Management 2.Post Automatically or bouth  a  the time of creating any  G/L Master.
    Thanku

    Hi,
    1. Open Item Managed account means there will be matching debits anbd credits in a GL Accounts which can be cleared. For example GR/IR clearing account is an open item managed account. The Goods receipt documents are to be cleared with invoice receipt documents.
    2. Post Automatically menas manual entries are not permitted, Entries get posted through FI - MM/SD integration. For example when a billing document is posted in SD an accounting entry to Revenue / Customer are posted automatically. Revenue account is set up as auto posting only and this will ensure that SD and FI values always match.
Example of Open Item managed and Post automatically is GR/IR clearing account.
    Thanks
    Murali.

  • Item Interest Calculation for partially cleared items

    Hi
We need to do interest calculation on Customer Line Items. The T Code we are using is FINT. We have set an interest indicator for Item Interest Calculation, with Interest Calculation based on Items Cleared with Payments. The requirement is that Interest should be calculated on even partially cleared items. Suppose a customer invoice is generated on 1.1.2009 for INR 100000 and becomes due for payment on 30.1.2009. Now on 10.2.2009, a partial payment is recieved against this invoice for INR 30000. System should calculate interest on INR 30000 for 11 days. Now again on 20.2.2009, remaining payment of INR 70000 is recieved. In such a case, interest should be calculated on INR 70000 for 21 days @ 1.25% PM. In the current configuration, when we define that system should calculate interest on Open Items cleared with payments, system calculates interest on INR 100000 for 1.25% for 21 days. Pls suggest.

  • GL account post automatically

    Hi,
Is the post automatically tick on the GL account is applicable only for actual posting or for planned postings also.
    Any idea on this.
    Regards
    Prasad

    Hi,
You can choose post automatically for withholding tax accounts, GR/IR clearing accounts, all sales tax accounts, discount accounts, consumption accounts. etc
for all these accounts you are only posting automatically, means you are not giving the posting key and GL account while posting any transactions.
