  • Additional charge along with interest on customer due items - France legal requirment

    Hi All
We have requirement from France, where in we need to charge additional amount  along with Interest for customers on Overdue invoices
Say for example, if the customer is having an invoice amount of 10000 and it is due by more than a 20 days, we will charge interest of 2 % along with the 2 % we will also charge a fixed amount of 40 EUR
For the above requirement SAP has suggested to implement the below notes
    1826317
    1823964
    1844171
After deploying the above notes along with their dependency notes, we were unable to access the FINT transaction code itself. Right now SAP is investigating this
However as the deadline is approaching. i would like to know if any one of us has already had this kind of requirement  and how they have dealt with it
Please do let me know if there is any other alternate available for this kind of requirement
    Thanks
    Prasad

I am totally guessing that you were calling a VZ landline thinking it was ok to call and not be billed. The literature is very clear it is Mobile 2 mobile or Verizon wireless customers to Verizon wireless customers that you can call without using minutes.
As for Friends and Family. Be happy they are letting you have numbers to call for free. There is no need for them to give you the information. Lets say you have a family plan and they choose all your teenage kids friends and not anyone you want.

  • Amendment A/R REPORT Customer open Item Analysis (Over due Items balance)

    Hello Experts
The TCode for the above report is: S_ALR_87012178.
The report/program is run by giving Co Cd as input, ie  the field "Customer A/c" (Customer number) is left blank.
    Then,we get the o/p report.
In this report, only the "Customer Names" are displayed. (along with the report data)
Now, the requirement is  "Corresponding Customer numbers" are to be displayed, ie an additional column "Customer number" is to be developed.
How do we write the logic for the FSpec?
    Any suggestions/help/guidance will be appreciated.
    Rgds
    Sumanth.Gururaj

    hi,
there is a simple solution to this:
go to SE93:  S_ALR_87012178 display it take the program name wich is assigned to it.
copy the logic of the report into a Z report.
because STD SAP code should not be distrubed.
customer description will be in KNA1-NAME1/NAME2
the above is already there in the STD program logic.
customer number will be in KNA1-KUNNR
add the above and give it as FS to the developer.
    hope satisfies your requriment.

  • VendorPayables Over due Interest calculation.

    Hi Gurus,
    Help needed plzz..
needed to caliculate interest on over due payables. There are net 30 payment terma in the system. if for some reason i entered an invoice with invoice date which is  31days or more behind the current date then i need to caliculate interest on the late payment and show it in a report. Or post to an expence account with the same account assignments as the invoice.
    say, current date: 07/03/2007  mm/dd/yyyy
    invoice date :  05/15/2007
if net 30 days payable term is applied to the invoice and i entered it on current date i.e the posting date. this invoice will get paid immediately in the next payment run, but before i pay that invoice i would have to include the interest caliculate from 06/15/2007 to 07/05/2007(say my next payment run was on 07/05/2007).  this like 18 days over due .
How can i caliculate interest on this one the interest rate to be used is 3% .
Gurus please advice on how i need to set up the interest Indicator and all other stuff. i know where i need to set most of the things in interest cali. config., but i need advice on what settings to make, so that we meet the requirement.
    help ......

Interest calculation is controlled by settings made in the interest indicator in the master record. You make additional specifications for each interest calculation.
Interest is calculated using the debit interest rate defined for the interest indicator in the system. Credit interest rates are used when interest is being calculated on items paid prior to their due date.
There are different ways to calculate interest:
    ·        To calculate and post interest on only cleared items, in the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable menu, choose Periodic Processing ® Interest Calculation ® Arrears ® Without Open Items. The system calculates interest as of the due date for net payment.
    ·        To calculate and post interest on open and cleared items, in the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable menu, choose Periodic Processing ® Interest Calculation ® Arrears ® With Open Items. The system calculates interest as of the upper limit date of the last interest run.
    ·        To calculate interest on open and/or cleared items without posting the interest, in the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable menu, choose Periodic Processing ® Interest Calculation ® Arrears ® Without Postings. The system calculates interest as of the due date for net payment.
In each of the above cases, the relevant fields have default entries or only the selection criteria required are displayed.
    ·        To calculate interest any other way, in the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable menu, choose Periodic Processing ® Interest Calculation ® Arrears ® Free Selections .
For more information about calculating interest on arrears, see the report documentation:
RFDUZI00   Calculation of Interest on Arrears (Customers)
RFKUZI00   Calculation of Interest on Arrears (Vendors)
There are two fields in the company code data area of customer and vendor master records that are relevant for the calculation of interest on arrears:
    Interest indic.
The program that calculates interest on arrears uses the interest indicator specified in the customer master record. The most important specifications for the interest calculation run are stored under the interest indicator. They include, for example, rules determining which items are selected for interest calculation and how the interest is calculated.
The interest indicator must be assigned the interest calculation type Item interest calculation.
    Last key date
After each interest calculation run, the program enters the upper limit of the calculation period into this field by batch input. This is the date you have specified for the calculation run.
    Hope that helps...
    Thanks,
    Nandita

  • Different interest percentages for different over due days

    Hi Experts,
I have the following scenario with respect to the Interest calc for customers.
    1. If the line item is over due till 90 days interest will be charged 10%
    2. If the same line item is over due more than 90 days interest should be charged 12%
Can you please provide me with a possible way to configure this scenario?
    Thanks in advance.
    Siva Cheruvu

    Dear Siva Cheruvu ,
the programs for interest calculation for open items (RFDUZI00 or
RFKUZI00) and for interest calculation for balances (RFSZIS00, RFDZIS00,
    RFKZIS00) calculate interest linearly.
Kindly review the SAP  Note 403580. As this note states, you may
have to use BTE 4152 for interest calculation changes, in case you want
to use a different formula than the one available in the standard.
About the new report RFINTITAR and RFINTITAP, please check the SAP note 736223 that gives You additional information to allow You to do own programming.
Several Badis can help You by se19 to do it as FI_INT_CUS01 for example.

  • Interest calculation on cutomer DUE items using FINT option

    Hi.
I am using FINT option to calculate interest run for customer due items.
I have posted a customer inivoice using F-22 with posting date as 05.01.2011. I gave the tolerance days as 7 days.
Therefore system is showing that the customer open item as DUE on 11.01.2011 in FBL5N.
When i run FINT option with date as 12.01.2011 system is picking only overdue items and not picking this DUE item.
Can anyone help me in this issue.
    Regards,
    Padmavathi

    Dear Murali,
I have changed the option in item interest calculation - Ref date as 1 - Value date (or base line date for net payment). Earlier i gave the option as 4 - payment baseline date.
Since i changed the ref date as 1 system is calculating the interest from net due date instead of posting date.
    This is solved.
But one more problem is that in the system for the interest indicator i gave from date as 01.01.2011 that means system should select open items from the invoice date 01.01.2011. But system is selecting all open items in that customer a/c irrespective of date given for the initerest indicator when i run FINT option. In FINT option i gave interest indicator from and to as B1. still the system is selecting all open items irrespective of date given for interest indicator.
    Can you help me.

  • Interest calculation on due date and not on invoice

    Hello,
Pls can some one let me how to start interest calculation on due date and not invoice date.
In the interest calculation, T code FINT, the system calculates interest from invoice date till clearing date and not from due date till clearing date.
    BR,
    Zulfikar

    Hello,
We have selected the Always calculate interest from net due date check box. but now when i run FINT transaction for a customer it is calculation interest from invoice date and not on due date. the item is already cleared.
    The scenarion is
the net due date of the docuemnt is 30.07.2008 so the interest calculation should stard from 31.07.2008 till clearing date. but the interest calcualtion is starting from 01..07.2008 which is the invocie date.

  • Dunning Procedure (FBMP) - Total Due Items from Dunning Level

    Hi,
In Dunning Procedure (FBMP), there is a field called "Total Due Items from Dunning Level" ...
Questions: What does this field mean?
Besides, if possible, kindly explain the following:
    1) Min.days in arrears (acct):
Days in arrears which at least one item in this account must have for a dunning notice to be created. These minimum days in arrears have no influence on calculating the days overdue.
If I put 50, then does this mean that system won't generate dunning notice, although in the dunning level 1: 15, dunning level 2: 30, and dunning level 3: 45?
    Thanks.

    hi,
The dunning intervals are usually meant for two purposes, one to send notices at appropriate intervals, to calculate interest on arrears accordingly for delay in payment.  The dunning days say 45 will not be calculated from the 15th day but from the original date of document posting. Say if you have an open item on 01.01.2008 and the dunning procedure calls for intervals 15.30.45 etc. first dunning is due on 16.05.2008 and second dunning 01.06.2008 third dunning due on 16.06.2008.
Some other useful info. whenever a dunning run is complete the vendor master and the line items gets updated automatically. So if you have to run dunning again for the one already run say, you want to generate the dunning notice of the 2nd dunning then you have to delete these details from the base records and schedule dunning once again.  Otherwise you obviously will generate notice of the last dunning run.  Also if you are scheduling dunning for group of vendors then all vendors should have the same dunning levels, otherwise the output will be of the latest dunning level. But the master records and line items gets updated correctly.  Example you are dunning for two vendors one has got the second level due and other has got 3rd level due but the output for the two will be the output of 3rd level . But the vendor master and line items gets updated as 2 and 3 accordingly. This will happen if and only the vendors fall in the same dunning procedure.
clarify if you have still doubts,
    regards

  • Account statements with 30 days past due items for customer

    Hi Guys,
My client wants to generate the account statements or  letters for customers whose open items are 30 days past due.I guess its related with dunning process not with generating regular statements using Tcode F.27. Could anyone please guide me what are the steps involved in achieving this scenario, and how system will capture the customer accounts outstanding  with line items 30 days over due.I be grateful. Thanks
    Iqtidar

In IMG -> Accounts Receivable ->Dunning->Basic Setting-> Define Dunning Area first and
Then define the dunning Procedure this where you will mention the due date after which you have to start the dunning procoss and the interval between 2 dunning level. Transaction code is FBMP
Attach the Dunning Procedure to the Customer Master ->Company Code Data -> Correspondence
Then run the Dunning Procedure in the Transaction Code : F150

  • FINT  interest calculation on open items

    Hello,
I am a noob and I hope this is an easy one... At the moment our system is doing interest calculation only on closed items through FINT transaction, but now we need to enable it to do an interest calculation on open items, too. I would kindly require to point me how to do this.
    Help is greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Andrej Trilavov

    Dear Andrej,
You have to change Your interest indicator setting:
    IMG (SPRO transaction)
    Prepare Interest on Arrears Calculation
    AND
    Prepare Item Interest Calculation
change the item selection frame settings.
    I hope this helps.

As you can see collection was posted already
The OB86 setting is United.Arab Emirates    AE    3
The Item shows in F_75 and FBL5N report as open and due.
We are giving  Due by  date in F-20 as 03.03.2014 (even 04.03.2014)
the system still throws error message
No due items exist at the key date
    Message no. F5345
Please help as to what could be the reason the system is throwing this error message. The platform is SAP ECC 6.0 SP18.
    Thanks

    Hi, Uttam
Please check if you have the field 'B/exch.payment period' filled in with transaction OB86. If you check the F1 help for this field, these days are added to the due date. The bills of exchange are selected when the Due date is lower or equal to the date that is defined in the 'Due by' field of transaction F-20.
    I hope this helps.
