Can we delete any of this files
What is the importance of this filesystem
help appreciated

Hello Ameya,
This must be the directory where the files used as interface import or created as interface output might be getting stored. Not a SAP directory. Of course business must be consulted. In our case we daily keep on archivng files older than 3 months to a seperate directory using shell script from where we take a backup as on tape and later on delete them from the system u. Other option is to increase space for the file system.
Regards.

  • How to display web interface in full screen mode

    Hi,
I would like to view my web interface in full screen mode in internet explorer. Is there anyway we can switch off the toolbars and URL automatically while calling the web interface
    Thanks
    SR

    Hello SR,
I don't think it is possible to do this directly in the web interface. Otherwise many websites would change your browser settings.
It's possible to set the window properties, when the window is opened from JavaScript for example. So you could create a dummy start page and add some JavaScript to open a window for the web interface with the settings you require. Here's a good page that explains it:

    Hi Jeff
Thanks so much that's all very helpful. In regards to my full screen question I may be imagining it but I'm sure I heard you can bring the entire interface to full screen like you would with iPhoto or a web page etc.

  • Input and CRC errors on ASA 5505 outside interface

    All,
I see input and crc errors on my ASA 5505  eth0/0(outside) interface and packet drops. There is very slow connection though we have 20mb line. ISP also sees the issue on the Lan interface side. We have the speed and duplex configured same on both ISP and our end.
I am suspecting if this is Physical cable issue. Please suggest.

    Hello Ravi,
This kind of issues CRCs/ Input Errors are tipically known as L1 issues so make sure you check the cable and if that does not make a difference change the port on each side to see if there is a difference.
Unfortunetly the ASA does not support the Time-Domain Reflectometer feature so we must do the test of L1 by ourselfs.
Can you clear the counters of the interface, test the changes provided and provide us some feedback?

  • Need to post Full Load data (55,000 records) to the target system.

    Hi All,
We are getting the data from SAP HR system and we need to post this data to the partner system. So we configured Proxy(SAP) to File(Partner) scenario. We need to append the data of each message to the target file. Scince this is a very critical interface, we have used the dedicated queues. The scenario is working fine in D. When the interface transported to Q, they tested this interface with full load i.e with 55,000 messages. All messages are processed successfully in Integration Engine and to process in Adapter engine, it took nearly 37 hrs. We need to post all 55,000 records with in 2 hrs.
The design of this interface is simple. We have used direct mapping and the size of each message is 1 KB. But need to append all messages to one file at the target side.We are using Advantco sFTP as receiver adapter and proxy as a sender.
Could you please suggest a solution to process all 55,000 messages with in 2hrs.
    Thanks,
    Soumya.

    Hi Soumya,
I understand your scenario as, HR data has be send to third party system once in a day. I guess, they are synchronizing employee (55,000) data in third party system with SAP HR data, daily.
I would design this scenario as follows:-
I will ask ABAPer to write a ABAP program, which run at 12:00, pickup 55,000 records from SAP HR tables and place them in one file. That file will be placed in SAP HR file system (you can see it using al11). At 12:30, PI File channel will pick up the file and transfer the file to third party target system as it is, without any transformation. File to File, pass through scenario (no ESR objects). Now, ask the target system to take the file, run their program (they should have some SQL routines). That SQL program will insert these records into target system tables.
If 55,000 records make huge file at SAP HR system, ask ABAPer to split it into parts. PI will pick them in sequence based on file name.
In this approach, I would ask both SAP HR (sender) and third party (target) system people to be flexible. Otherwise, I would say, it is not technically possible with current PI resources. In my opinion, PI system is middleware, not system in which huge computations can be done. If messages are coming from different systems, then collection in middleware makes sense. In your case, collecting large number of messages from single system, at high frequency is not advisable.
If third party target system people are not flexible, then go for File to JDBC scenario. Ask SAP HR ABAPer to split input file into more number of files (10-15, you PI system should be able to handle). At receiver JDBC, use native SQL. You need java mapping to construct, SQL statements in PI. Donu2019t convert flat file to JDBC XML structure, in your case PI cannot handle huge XML payload.
You have to note, hardware upgrade is very difficult (you need lot of approvals depending your client process) and very costly. In my experience hardware upgrade will take 2-3 months.

  • How to generate different report view in teststand for the same execution?

My requirment is to have two different view for the same report that gets generated during one execution using in TestStand OI(CVI)? One view would be summary view (displays only test step types, excluding action step types) and the other view is detail view that displays all the steps that are recorded. Data for all the steps needs to get recorded in database. Any suggestions are helpful!!
    CLD,CTD

    Hello.
I think you would have to create two separate reports, one as summary report and one as a 'full' report  The viewers are just 'viewers' and simply display whatever you set to them.
I had display a text report that was basically a summary report ( failures only ) and then display an HTML report that contained all steps were set to be recorded.  This required quite a bit of modifications on both the process model and the operator interface side.  The operator interface (in LabVIEW ) had to contain 2 separate UIReportView controls.
Let me know if that is your desired direction and I could point you to some more ideas.
    Thanks,
    PH

  • D7260 Duplex problem

    Hi,
I printed a 12 page document on my D7260 and manually duplexed. The back of pages 8 & 9 were blank.
the back of pg 7 had page 10.
My driver says last configured on 12/08/2008.
Do I need new drivers? If so, where do I find them?
Using Word 2007 on Vista Ultimate 64 bit SP 2
    Thanks
    Frank GC

    Hi Jan,
If you are connecting Router to WAN0_0 port, you should use cross-over cable under most of the circumstances and unless you are using all gig interfaces on both sides. This will avoid any hardware limitations due to non-Auto-MDIX supported hardware.
Cisco strongly recommend that you do not use half-duplex connections on the WAE or on routers, switches, or other devices.
You will find more information here: Cabling
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/wae/module/inline/installation/guide/17880fru.html#wp39911
Further, there is a possibility that the interface on Router / WAE inline adapater / cable might be bad. I would suggest following in that case.
    1. Using a new cross-over / stright cable. if the issue continues, proble lies on the interface sides.
    2. Using a different port on router. if the issue continues, problem is with WAN0_0 port of WAE.
    3. Try connecting wan0_0 port to another switch / router to see if it negotiates at full duplex. If it still continues at half duplex, there is an issue with WAN0_0 port most probably.
    4. Try connecting secondary gig port or WAN0_1 port to same router interface. If the issue continues, problem may be with router FA0/0 interface.
If you find that issue is with either router / WAE inline interface, please open a TAC case for RMA.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.
PS: If this resolves your issue, please mark this as Answered.

  • OSPF PTP with ASA

    Hello
I am trying to bring up a L3 PTP between an ASA and a 6500 running IOS.   The ASA is in routed mode configured for OSPF.  On the ASA I configure the interface to the 6500 with an IP address and define the network type as point-to-point.   I add that network to the OSPF process configuration. Likewise on the 6500 I configure the interface as a L3 interface with IP and network type as point-to-point.   I add the same /30 network to that OSPF process.  I can ping across the /30 both ways but the adjacency is not forming.   The ASA debugs show the hello coming from the correct 6500 interface.   However the ASA can't find the 6500 interface.  The debug indicates "cannot locate nbr x.x.x.x (ip address of 6500 interface).
When I remove the "ospf network point-to-point nonbroadcast" command on the ASA the adjacency does form.    However, on the ASA side it's "2way/drother" and on the 6500 side "full".   The LSDB's look good.   But the 6500 is not injecting the routes advertised from the ASA into the routing table.
Thoughts?  I suspect I am missing a concept or simple command.   As far as I can tell this is a supported configuration on the ASA.    But have not been able to find any point-to-point configuration examples.
    Any information is much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Chuck

On the ASA the "non-broadcast" option is required.  When I try to leave it off I get a "command incomplete" message.
There are no other options available so I used "ospf network point-to-point non-broadcast" option.
On the 6500 IOS switch I can simply put in "ip ospf network point-to-point" with no further options.  Here the "non-broadcast" option is not available even if I wanted it.
So with the ASA using "ospf network point-to-point nonbroadcast" and the 6500 IOS using "ip ospf network point-to-point" I can't get the adjacency up.   Both network types are listed as "POINT-TO-POINT" for each interface.
Any further thougths anyone?   Is there a different command on the ASA that doesn't require the non-broadcast option?
    Chuck

    We don't support archlinux-arm here, try archlinuxarm.org.

  • Duplex problem with inline card "WAN0" again

    Hi,
We got duplex problem again "new site" for the inline port WAN0, LAN0 is ok.
We have tried crossover and straight through cable, without any look still 100/ half duplex.
The PTT router int fa0/0 have been to 100/full and auto/auto still 100 half in the WAE.
The WAE have been in 100/full, no link or auto/auto link but 100/half.
What can be the problem, as we have this issue with most of our 574 and 274, the 674 have have no problem at all?
Below are some output from the WAE and router.

    Hi Jan,
If you are connecting Router to WAN0_0 port, you should use cross-over cable under most of the circumstances and unless you are using all gig interfaces on both sides.
    Regards.

  • GLC-SX-MM auto detecting as half duplex

    I have a 3945 router with a GLC-SX-MM connected to a Canoga 9145 with a 5 meter patch cable going to AT&T as a 100Mb Metro-E
Our performance is poor measuring about 4Mb up and 15Mb down. I have tried various test sites.
A show interface is showing: Half Duplex, 1Gbps, media type is SX
We are seeing a lot of output errors and TCP reassembly queue overflows
If I force the interface to full duplex I stop getting output errors and queue overflows but start getting interface resets. My performance also goes sub 1Mb
The ISP confirms their interface on the Canoga is properly configured. We have also replaced the patch cable.
Does anyone have any thoughts on possible causes?

You're using a 1 Gbps interface and your SP is provisioning a 100 Mbps circuit? That doesn't make sense. Depending on your equipment, you should be using something like the GLC-FE-100FX=, a 100 Mbps SFP. (See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/hw/modules/ps5455/products_device_support_tables_list.html )
Otherwise where is the buffering and queuing take place - in the Canoga? From its application guide, I believe it is intended to be used with the fiber on the provider side and the subscriber side is copper. Your post seems to describe the reverse setup.
