Internal Accounts - password logic?

In theory, what logic would the system use to generate password for internal accounts upon initial synchronization. Here are some areas for which I need explanations:
- SynchManager / Setting Tab. There are some config settings there, but I think they only apply to BPs
Basis for this hypothesis lies in the fact that internal accounts (Manager for instance) don't even have any UDF for adding Web UserID and Password
- Even if these setting be applicable to internal accounts. Say you choose Random as a method of generating passwords, how on earth can you figure out what Random password got generated for Manager (for example)?
- Some passwords are getting generated that I can see by looking at Users Table (WebTools database), but they are encrypted. Taking an encrypted string from a different instance doesn't seem to work. Probably due to Encryption Private key conflicts
- There are no way of getting a forgotten password emailed to an internal Account?
- After having performed 5 new instance creation, manager/manager still doesn't work for manager user ID, resulting in the Consultant not being able to log in to its newly created instance
Anyway, if you know exactly how this thing work or is supposed to work, your input will greatly be appreciated.

Here's a first little customization I would like to do. Of course, your input is appreciated but please if you don't know, don't spend a minute on it (I can R&D it myself).
In the Admin Section, Item management, Bulk operations for Category assignment. The Pulldown menu (html select) that lists all categories only shows category name.
I am designing a hierarchy where a category name can appear more than once (not the category code here since it has to be unique). However, say I gave the same name to 5 different categories, I have no way of knowing in advance which one to pick from the pulldown menu. I would like to customize this area.
So far, I have came to understand that the designer of the application (Praxis) made use of CompentArt to implement their multitab control, and that the category tab is one of these "pageview"(s).
Unfortunately, I can't find which source code to edit in order to add more information to each option if this dynamically generated web select.
Any idea?

Reset @me account password

Hello,
My dad recently switched back from his iPhone 4s to his old iPhone 4 and wanted to transfer all his contacts and notes. Everything went fine except for the notes. I noticed that on his iphone 4s the icloud account was an @me.com account which i assumed is where all his notes were synced to (since apparently we cant sync to his regular @hotmail apple ID). I deleted the @me account because we couldnt figure out what the password was but asked to keep all data on the iphone so that we could create a new icloud account and sync the supposedly saved notes. However, after deleting the account, all of the notes were gone! I've been trying to figure out the @me account password in order to sign back in and hopefully get back all the lost notes but I cant seem to do so. When trying to do so via security questions it says that the birth date is incorrect and when I try via email I dont receieve anything. How can i recover the @me account to get all his notes back??

If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

Customize change password logic

Hi guys,
We are working on EP 6.0, We need to make our own change password logic for first time user login. ( e.g new password should be > 10 long, if he makes a number of unsuccesful operation, his account will be locked , etc...)
For current change password logic, the system calls some .class file provided by SAP.
Can we change the logic of orginal .class ? if not, how can we create our own and use it?

Internal accout password

According to my information Only sys and internal dba users can access the database with password authontacation method .Internal can access with oracle password which is the default or the new password created through oradim80 utility .Am i right?
If yes ,we should configure the remote-login-password-file as one of the following (exclusive,shared,none).I'm confused with exclusive and shared.Does it mean with exclusive only one of sys or internal users can access the database with password authontacation but not both ,but with shared they can even both access the database at the same time with password authontacation ?
Is what i have mentioned correct ?
Any help explaination would be appreciated .

The password file is meant for handling remote database administration security issues in non-secure network protocols like TCP/IP.
Setting to 'exclusive' doesn't mean that either of 'sys' or 'internal' but it means that the password file is exlusive to one database.
If 'shared' means that the same password authentication is valid across multiple databases.
The internal account is ultimately getting access to underlying sys schema itself. (connecting with "/ as sysdba" in versions above 8i has the same effect)

It sounds like the apps were purchased using your dads account, so they will have to be updated using that account.

I have one computer and one iTunes library and two devices hooked up to it. But I have to apple IDs a different one for each of the two devices. When I try to buy or update something using my account and password it asks for the other account password so I can buy or update anything. I can log into this website using my accountant it recagnizes me but i still can't get it to work on the App Store . I don't know I'f this matters but I just updated to iOS 6 and then tried it and it wouldn't work. Before I updated it , when I would try to get an app or something it would still ask me for the other password , but if I pushed cancel then it would ask me do mine and then it would work , but it doesn't do that anymore. If I push cancel it just cancels and does nothing. I hope you can give me some suggestions, I really need your help:)

My email password and my verizon account password are the same? Are you SERIOUS?

The other day I did something I never do, actually log into my verizon account. I hate the verizon interface, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than use it, but every now and then I have to use it to handle a bill. So, of course the password that I remembered setting on it didn't work. So I jumped through the hoops to reset the password, conducted my business, and left the site, hopefully not to return for a year at least.
Lo and behold, the next time I tried to access my email (which I use Thunderbird for, and don't tell me it's not a supported client, it works fine, and no I'm not going to use Verizon's webmail interface), it won't accept my email password. Now, this password HAD always been distinct from my verizon account password. But...telling myself, "Oh no they didn't," I tried using the new password that I'd set for my online account. Surprise! It let me into my email!
Now, this morning, neither the new password nor my old email password are being accepted.
So, I have two questions, apart from the existential "why does Verizon feel the need to torture its customers like this":
1)Are they SERIOUSLY requiring you to have the SAME password for your email AND your My Verizon Account?
2)If, as I hope and pray, the answer to 1 is "hellz no", how can I change just my EMAIL password?

Yes, the passwords are the same now. Verizon made a big push a while back to give customers a single login. They merged everyone's accounts, not because it is more secure, but because they think customers will find it easier. No, there is no way to change just your email password.
And no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using Thunderbird. Many of us have it configured for verizon.net addresses, and it works just fine.

You cannot delete the iCloud account that is signed on to Find My iPhone unless you know the password. This is called the Activation Lock:
ACTIVATION LOCK
It is an anti-theft security measure that is a part of iOS 7. You can only get around this by following the steps in this support article:
Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
Contact your friend. This is the only way around the lock.

Does anyone know why my iPod Touch keeps asking for 5 different iTunes account passwords? Also, in the iTunes app it says I have 651 songs preparing to download, and I didnt tell it to download them. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? It only began after I reset my iPod.

I have this problem too. I'm trying to restore an iPod and it asks me for account numbers. Is there Anyway to get around it? Cause it does not seem fair if I can have and listen to it on my iTunes but not my iPod. The one account is from a girl who litteraly went mentally insane, I'm not going to be asking for her password EvER. And the other is An ex friend and I don't even know who the third account is! d. Input the login password in the password field and click Next. When progress indicator shows 100% complete, click Finish to exit. Remove the USB driver from PC.
The method is similar to create a Toshiba recovery CD. Now, the Toshiba Windows 7 password recovery disk is ok. Put it in a safe place for people may use it to reset your password.
Steps to recover password with created Toshiba password reset disk:
e. Click Reset Password in the Windows 7 logon window,
f. Insert the created Toshiba recovery USB disk into the USB driver interface, and click Reset password" to open Password Reset Wizard. Click Next to continue.
g. Choose this USB disk recovery Toshiba from the drop down box. Click Next to continue.
h. Input a new password and re-input it again to confirm. Click Next and then Finish to close the wizard.
Solution2: Reset Toshiba laptop by accounts with administrator rights
If there is default or built-in admin account or other accounts with administrator privileges and rights, we can use it for Toshiba password bypass. Take Toshiba XP recovery as example:
A. Boot system from Safe Mode by pressing F8 when PC stars.
B. Access PC with the available account with administrator rights and privileges.
C. Start - Local Users and Groups lusrmgr.msc in the Search box ENTER - Local Users and Groups - choose Users.
D. Right click the account with unlocked password, select Set Password and then input and confirm the new password.
Solution3: Reset Toshiba password with burned ISO image file
We can burn an .iso image file into a bootable USB disk or CD/DVD and reset the forgotten password easily and quickly. Take one of the most popular Windows password reset tool Ainorsoft Windows Password Recovery as example:
a. Download the program from an accessible PC;
b. Burn its .iso file to a blank CD/DVD or USB disk;
c. Bypass the lost Toshiba password with the burned CD/DVD on the locked PC.
Things will not be tricky if we know the methods for Toshiba password reset once we forgot Toshiba laptop password! Please also remember to share them with your friends!

As far as I know there are no password set by Toshiba.
The user can set the windows user account password if necessary so this workaround describes how to delete a Windows user account password which is common for all computers with preinstalled Windows OS.

Windows 2008 R2 DCs machine account password expiring

We've a mixed Windows 2008/2003 environment across 30 connected sites. There is a mixture of 2008/2003 DCs. We've had an issue whereby when some of the Windows 2008 R2 DC have been rebooted, they lose there trust relationship with the domain ie
we have needed to reset the Machine Account Password for the Windows 2008 R2 DC. This only happens after the reboot. Initially the problem was only occuring on one site, but now it has happened on 3 seperate sites.
Servers trying to communicate with the effected DC, are generating Kerberos Event ID 4 (KRB_AP_ERR_Modified) .
Any ideas what may be causing this issue.

My Apple account password has been reset a couple times due to Apple telling me my passwords are incorrect. I know they aren't because I have already had to change the password three times, and I keep record of my password. Yet, it continuously tells me my password is incorrect. I have just changed it, again, and now I cannot log into the itunes store to download an app because it's telling me my new password is incorrect.
I just bought the new iphone 5s today, so does this have anything to do with it? Please help, this is extremely frustrating.

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend.
