Internal table used by sap in a program
Hi,
I want to know the list of internal tables used in a program (including sap program).
while debugging i want to view the data stored in it.
I know the internal tables used by me. Before loading the program sap will load some information into internal table. How to know that.
Advance Thanks.
Internal tables, not transparent ones.
In the old debugger, goto->system areas->internal information and look ITAB_HEADS. This will show you the name of the tables in the system. SYMBDATANM will show you all variables in memory.
In the new debugger, it's even easier. There's a global tab in the variables area, that tells you all variables in memory. And you can see the variable type - i.e. if it is a table.

Final Internal Table used in MIGO Transaction
Hi Experts,
I need to know the final internal table used in the MIGO transaction. Why I want to know this is, I need all the records which are there in the table control (GODYNPRO) of the MIGO transaction. I have used the BADI BADI MB_MIGO_BADI to read the values. But since it is a table control the values are getting changed when the user scrolls down the table control. How can I get all the values shown in this table control. Is there any global internal table in the SAPLMIGO program?
BR.Hi ABAP,
Check the BADI MB_MIGO_BADI the example class CL_EXM_IM_MB_MIGO_BADI
In attributes tab variable GT_EXTDATA contains all migo positions.
Read the internal table to check items.
in this method the internal table is filled.
Therefore define your internal table in the class attributes.
I hope you help. -

Delete row from internal table using field symbol.
Hi friends,
I created dynamic internal table using field symbol. I want to delete some data using where clause.
for example. i want to use like,
DELETE <FS> WHERE KUNNR = WA_KNA1-KUNNR.
Like the above statment it won't work. How i can use delete with where clause in field symbols.
Hope any one can help me.
Thanks and regards
Srikanth. Shi Srikanth,
I think you have to LOOP through the whole internal table and check each line and decide to delete or not:
LOOP at <itab> INTO <wa>.
ASSIGN COMPONENT 'KUNNR' OF STRUCTURE <wa> TO <field>.
CHECK <field> IS ASSIGNED.
IF <field> EQ WA_KNA1-KUNNR.
DELETE ...
ENDIF.
UNASSIGN <field>.
ENDLOOP.
hope this helps

DDL Statement (design view) of Tables used in SAP
Hi,
I am installing SAP 4.7 on oracle. unfortunately the some media is corrupt and as a result there are some missing tables and views. one of the missing table is DD02T.
Can any one tell me from where i can get the DDL Statement (Table design) for Tables used in SAP as for my example i am missing Table DD02T.
If i get this information, I can create those missing tables and this way will complete my installation.
Regards,
AbhishekYou are pretty correct. command for creating table and views are prresent in SAPVIEW.STR. I am getting problems in the installation of mainlny Data Dictionary tables like DD02T and DD02L etc.
I tried to solve the problem by converting err to ok in one of the tsk file. it made the installationm process up but again it gives me the error during the SAP License Post Processing Step. as i think it needs some table or view which are not present. so how to get rid of??? do you know those table which are affected by the sap license step, so that i can create manualy.
I am new to SAP and installing it for learing purpose.

File Format Mismatch while update into Internal table using RFC_REMOTE_FILE
Hi All,
I used RFC_REMOTE_FILE to communicate with the presentation server in Background Mode. I connected successfully and got output too.
But my requirement is to update the .csv file into internal tables.
With RFC_REMOTE_FILE i can get the data as single row. But I can't separate the fields and update into the corressponding table field.
What is the solution for the above issue. Could anyone help me.
For the above RFC Communication I followed the below link

I used RFC_REMOTE_FILE to communicate with the presentation server in Background Mode. I connected successfully and got output too.
But my requirement is to update the .csv file into internal tables.
With RFC_REMOTE_FILE i can get the data as single row. But I can't separate the fields and update into the corressponding table field.
What is the solution for the above issue. Could anyone help me.

Saving .csv into internal table - using dataset (',' comes between data)
Hi experts,
I need to save .csv from application server to internal table.
i am using the below code.
gt_raw and gwa_raw are dxrawdata format.
OPEN DATASET gv_pfile FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
*--- Display error messages if any.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
WRITE:/ 'FILE UPLOAD FAILED - ERROR NO. : ', sy-subrc.
EXIT.
ELSE.
DO.
READ DATASET gv_pfile INTO gwa_raw.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
EXIT.
ELSE.
APPEND gwa_raw TO gt_raw.
CLEAR gwa_raw.
ENDIF.
ENDDO.
*--Close the Application server file (Mandatory).
CLOSE DATASET gv_pfile.
ENDIF.
DELETE DATASET gv_pfile.
LOOP AT gt_raw into gwa_raw.
IF SY-TABIX > 1.
SPLIT gwa_raw at ',' into gwa_cust-cust_code
gwa_cust-cust_name
gwa_cust-grp_name
APPEND gwa_cust TO gt_cust.
CLEAR: gwa_cust, gwa_raw.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
My program works fine.
But when the gwa_cust-grp_name contains the value for eg. -> panasonic co., ltd.
it takes till panasonic co., only
and leaves ltd. as i am using SPLIT command.
is there any other way to do this.
plz help me to solve this issue.
thanks.Hi,
I notice you have marked the message as answered, but I just wanted to let you know there is a solution. The trick is to parse into an internal table and then to find and reassemble fields that were split because they contgain a comma. The ABAP program below is a commented example.
Rgds,
Mark
REPORT zcsv_parse.
DATA:
tokens TYPE i.
TYPES: BEGIN OF ty_result,
company TYPE char20,
compnr TYPE i,
city TYPE char30,
country TYPE char30,
END OF ty_result.
DATA:
gt_rawtab TYPE TABLE OF string,
gw_rawtab LIKE LINE OF gt_rawtab,
gt_result TYPE TABLE OF ty_result,
gw_result LIKE LINE OF gt_result,
gt_parse TYPE TABLE OF string,
gw_parse LIKE LINE OF gt_parse.
DEFINE %csvline.
gw_rawtab = &1.
append gw_rawtab to gt_rawtab.
END-OF-DEFINITION.
START-OF-SELECTION.
* Create CSV lines, some with a comma inside a token
%csvline '"CompanyOne NV",500,"Antwerp","Belgium"'.
%csvline '"CompanyTwo,Inc",600,"New York,NY","USA"'.
%csvline '"CompanyThree,Ltd",700,"Sydney,NSW","Australia"'.
* Parse the raw CSV
LOOP AT gt_rawtab INTO gw_rawtab.
REFRESH gt_parse.
SPLIT gw_rawtab AT ',' INTO TABLE gt_parse.
DESCRIBE TABLE gt_parse LINES tokens.
* If extra commas: token count higher than field count
IF tokens > 4.
PERFORM reassemble.
ENDIF.
* At this point each entry in GT_PARSE contains exactly
* one result field => build the result table
LOOP AT gt_parse INTO gw_parse.
* Strip quotes from text fields
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF '"' IN gw_parse WITH ''.

WHEN 3. gw_result-city = gw_parse.
WHEN 4. gw_result-country = gw_parse.

APPEND gw_result TO gt_result.
ENDLOOP.
* Show the formatted result
LOOP AT gt_result INTO gw_result.

Report output list to internal table using submit report
Hello,
I have a report that generates the output in the form of an abap list. I want this data in an internal table for further processing. the report internally does not do a export data to memory so i cannot use import later on to get the data.
i did the following
SUBMIT <report name> exportING LIST TO MEMORY and return.
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
TABLES
listobject = itab_list
EXCEPTIONS
not_found = 4
OTHERS = 8.
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_TO_ASCI'
EXPORTING
list_index = -1
TABLES
listasci = ascitab
listobject = itab_list
EXCEPTIONS
empty_list = 1
list_index_invalid = 2
OTHERS = 3.
This returns the data in the ascitab, but the data contains additional unwanted info like lines and hyphens etc. Also the data is in a table with a single column, so pulling out individuals fields is again an issue. Is there a way to get this data into an internal table directly?
best regards,
Surajhi suraj
export the internal table of report
DATA: BEGIN OF SR_VBAK ,
VBELN LIKE VBAK-VBELN,
END OF SR_VBAK.
DATA: IR_VBAK LIKE STANDARD TABLE OF SR_VBAK WITH HEADER LINE.
EXPORT IR_VBAK TO MEMORY ID 'SALES'.
SUBMIT <program name in which u want internal table records > AND RETURN.
now import that data in submit program .
here u have to creat a internal table with same structure as the internal table from which u r trying to export the data
DATA: BEGIN OF SR_VBAK,
VBELN LIKE VBAK-VBELN,
END OF SR_VBAK.
DATA : IR_VBAK LIKE STANDARD TABLE OF SR_VBAK WITH HEADER LINE.
IMPORT IR_VBAK FROM MEMORY ID 'SALES'.

Moving internal table to another internal table using ASSIGN statement.
Hi,
We have a requirement to move an internal table form one program(SAPMV60A) to the internal table of the include(RV61B9xx) using the following statement.
[ xvbrp is a internal table in SAPMV60A. ]
ASSIGN ('(SAPMV60A)xvbrp') TO <ls_xvbrp>.
We tried all the combinations for declaring <ls_xvbrp> as table.
It is going to dump in our system,
" Type conflict with ASSIGN in program "SAPLV61B ".".
Your efforts will be rewarded with points.
Thanks in Advance,
Warm Regards,
BaburajHi
If you declare your field-symbols as table you should use []
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <ls_xvbrp> TYPE TABLE.
ASSIGN ('(SAPMV60A)xvbrp[]') TO <ls_xvbrp>.
else
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <ls_xvbrp> TYPE ANY.
ASSIGN ('(SAPMV60A)xvbrp') TO <ls_xvbrp>.
But I believe in this case you'll assign the header line of xvbrp.
