Invalid URL problem

Question

Hi,
After i set the external JDBC driver and datasource. I receive the other
one error
"Invalid URL"
Do I need to register my datasource by using 'iAS deploy tool' ?
where should I save the '.xml' file in ?

Hi.
When you want to use a database with a third party driver, the following
steps need to be followed:
a) Make sure the database is up and running.
b) Register a third party driver - On Windows, use "jdbcsetup.exe" and on
Unix, use "db_setup.sh". Provide a logival name for the driver, classname of
the driver and the driver classpath
c) Register the datasource. This is done by creating a datasource XML file
and registering it using "iasdeploy regdatasource <XML file> ". Look at one
of the samples (HelloDb would be a simple one) to see how the datasource
files are created and registered. The datasource XML files are at
installdir/ias6/ias/ias-samples/database/hellodb/src/schema
