i plan to add online camera to my website.
in website, it should be able to display live image that capture by camera.
previously i used axis camera which was an old camera. below are the following code i used.

Here's complete source code I posted in the JMF (java media framework) forum.
It allows you to connect to a web cam and capture images as JPEGs.
As a crude approach to your problem, you might capture an image once a second and update the same JPEG file.
In a static HTML page you could point to that JPEG file.
You might have problems if your browser caches the page and refuses to refresh the updated JPEG... but it's worth a shot I reckon !

When I go to a website to watch a live camera stream it doesn't work. It only keeps loading for ages and nothing happens. I've tried several websites. I tried Chatroulette and even that didn't work. Apparently it doesn't work to load my own cam either. It's not my firewall as I've already checked that. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

I didn't even know what Chatroulette was but I went to the site and I could activate my camera and mic, at least. Had no idea, and didn't hang around long enough, to see if anyone popped in.
Do your camera and mic work in Facetime, Skype, etc.? Can you see others images using those servers? Could your ISP be blocking access?

Support of RAF-files - Fujifilm FinePic S5000 camera

I had got some images from one that have a Fujifilm FinePic S5000 camera. If I imports the RAF-files (Fujifilm RAW-format) into Capture but it seems that Capture doesn't support RAF-files. Will Capture support RAF-files in the future?
I have tried to convert the RAF-files to DNG-fles by using Adobe DNG converter but the result is the same. I believed that Adobe DNG converter could convert all known RAW-format to DNG also RAF-files from a Fujifilm FinePic S5000 camera.

Per an interview with a spokeswoman from Fuji, they have indeed provided Apple (and Adobe as well) all the needed technical information in order to support the RAW files (i.e. algorithmic information created by Fuji for the non-standar filter array, etc etc). Please don't spread any more misinformation about it, it's already been flamed to death on all the online camera forums. You can still choose to 'blame' whomever you wish about why it's still not supported by Apple, but you can no longer reasonably assert that Fuji hasn't done their part by providing them what they need. Nondisclosure agreements were signed as well.
Having said that, I find it ridiculous at this point that it's not supported, for several reasons, some being the seemingly similar Fuji users who also use Aperture as well as the opportunity here for Apple to take some market from Adobe (who as of yet are not producing very great output files for Fuji X-trans). Apple was/has been at a disadvantage to Adobe for a long while now, and being an outsider, I presumed Apple would want to take advantage of this (and any similar) opportunity to grab some share from Adobe. I was well wrong, and it seems that other lesser-known-used companies are now doing just that.
Well good on them. I for one will be looking at any/all (new)comers and will certainly be going with the best of those. Sorry Apple, you lost another one. There was a real competition, for me, btwn Aperture and LR4 up till this point. You'd have to pull a rabbit out of your hat to keep my Aperture biz.

Nikon D7100 Raw files and Elements 12.....

I have just installed Photoshop Elements 12 (operating system is Windows 7). Downloaded all the available updates. Camera RAW is 8.4.0.199.
However, I am still unable to open RAW files from my Nikon D7100. I get a message saying "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw." However, I the online Camera Raw info says it should work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as suggested in the "help section".
Anybody got any ideas!? Thanks.

Can't open 'Help' in CS5 programs on trial

installed CS5 on brand new windows 7. opened Premiere and tried to browse the help subjects. A screen with 'community help online' came up but the actual help topics did not appear. After MANY tech phone calls and 2 different supervisors, finally have come to understand that there is some sort of error on the installation of the help component. ?! Was told that upon purchase tech support would provide 'protocols' and instruction for 'opening' the programs' help information. I was told that this is not singular to my experience. I was told to rummage around in the discussions and there was/is direction about how to open the help in the trial version. This is very aggravating. I had the first CS version put out 5 years ago. But now with the 64 bit/windows 7 requirements I had to overhaul my OS to try the trial. The days are ticking away and I need to see the whole program before committing the $, not peanuts you know, to purchase. Anyone know how to open or get around the installation error for the 'help' in the trial version?

You can try a system restore to a point before the update. If you're lucky, it might work, but I often find System Restore will fail when you need it the most.

When will Aperture have support for RAF files from the new Fuji XPro-1?

How long does it normally take to get the RAW file format updated? Fuji say they sent the file details to Apple many weeks ago. This is a camera being given fantastic reviews in all professional magazines worldwide - but I'm stuck with an Aperture folder full of "unsupported image format" files.
Really annoying as I use the full suite of Nik plug-ins so I can't do anything with these files until Aperture is updated.

Still trying to use 'get media' with canon VIXIA HF20

I have been working on this problem on and off for a while. I am using Premiere Elements 8 with a USB 2.0 connection to my Canon VIXIA HF20. Every time I open get media the camera is not seen. The PC sees it as a drive and I can access the stream on the camera through 'my computer', but can't figure out how to drectly download the streams into Eleiments. I have posted before as was advised to see if my camera was set to 'VTR'. I have checked high and low for this setting- manual, online, camera itself- and have not found anything even remotely related to this setting. Please if there are any ideas or if anyone has had this same issue and solved it PLEASE let me know.

Actually, for AVCHD, USB is the the ONLY way to connect the camcorder to your computer -- and Premiere Elements' Video Importer should indeed see the camcorder over a USB connection.
It sounds like, for some reason, it's not working in this case. (I assume you've ensured that the USB is not a shared connection, and you've tried more than one USB socket. You've also gone to your Device Manager and ensured your computer's operating system sees the camcorder.)
Have you installed the camcorder's software to your computer? That may include some necessary connection drivers.
Otherwise, you can use your computer's operating system to move the video from the camcorder to your hard drive. Then you can use Get Media/From Files and Folders to get the video into your project.
It's not the way it's supposed to work, but it will do until you can figure out what's up with your configuration.

Can I use a DAQ with my CCD?

I have a multifunction DAQ card and LabView 6.1. I would like to capture images using a CCD camera and am hoping that all I need is software, is this available? Do I need a new card and if so which one?

If your camera is analog, you can use you multifunction DAQ card to read in the analog signal. You will have to monitor the signal for the H-Sync and the V-Sync pulses and then convert the meaningful analog picture signal into digital values. For more information on the analog video signal please reference the following document:

If the camera is digital, you will not be able to read in the signal with the multifunction DAQ board. The multifunction DAQ boards can perform static digital input and output (software timed). For reading in a digital signal you will need a hardware timed digital acquistion. Our
DAQ boards in the 653x family can be used for hardware timed digital input and output. In this situation, you would use the pixel clock of the camera to time the acqusition of the 653x device.
If the camera is analog you should consider purchasing one of National Instruments framegrabber boards for you acquistion. These boards are designed specifically for this purpose. (NI 1409 or NI 1411)
If the camera is digital, I would suggest visiting our online camera advisor to see if your camera is compatible with our digital framegrabbers (NI 1422, NI 1424, NI 1428)

MBP Advice.

I run a web design studio from home and I need some advice on a MacBook Pro/Air/Standard.
I already own an iMac (top end). But I find myself away from my office and needing to do some coding/designing work, and being frustrated because I don't have a machine.
Now I have been looking at the different specs, and prices, and comparing them. I initially looked at the Mac Air, but I'm really beginning to see it as a richman's toy, in other words not the best for the job, but **** it looks and feels good.
Then I looked at the MacBook and felt financially it was more attainable, but powerful enough for me to do some serious designing and coding on.
So then I looked at the MacBookPro and in particular this model : 15-inch: 2.4GHz.
At £1369.00 it does seem to be a very reasonable priced machine, and bang for buck - pretty solid.
Any advice?

I think the display is excellent Most people who see it seem to think it's good too. I don't generally have much of an issue with reflections which some people seem to raise.
Ref the memory upgrade - if you go to a retail store such as the one on Regents Street in London they'll upgrade the RAM for you. Takes them 30 mins or so but they'll max it for the same price as the web upgrade price - about £100 if I remember rightly. Remember though that they're basically taking the 2 x 1Gb in Part Ex against the 2 x 2Gb.
I found it cheaper to simply order the memory from Crucial online - came to about 65 quid and I got to ebay the original memory.
As a side note, I found the MBP quite fussy over a memory. We have lots of memory chips in the office and none of the 1066Mhz SODIMMS worked.... I ended up buying some crucial chips that were specified as being directly compatible, and they just worked. Was a doddle to upgrade too.
I've also stuck a 320Gb Western Digital 7200RPM drive in mine too

My copy of Elder Scrolls Online came with a code for the explorers pack. When I redeemed the code it accepted it but the Explorer Pack has not downloaded and is not visible in the purchase history or download list. Also now the code says that it has already been redeemed. I'm hoping Sony can do something to sort this out.

Hi Just a question does actualy any one from support reading this? Have same issue on PS4. To begin i bought the box version and as every one else got the explorers pack code in te box. I did instal the game and as usual redeemed the code in PS store while the update was downlading. But to my surprise when eventually i did got to play the game my explores pack wasnt there. No i did a small reasearch and emaild ES support as well wher i was sent here an to contact Sony support. Just to make it clear code was redemmed by me to my PSN accout but there was no cclear downlad or any information except THANK YOU when i did it. If you look in the audio output port, is there a red light showing. If so, the internal switch is stuck.. Insert the headphones a few times, jiggle a toothpick inside or shot some compressed air to trip the switch. If no success, have the Apple store genius bar technician do it.

App to Sync Camera Roll Photos to Online Album (Facebook, Google, other?)

I was looking for an application that uploads or syncs my iPhone 4's camera roll to an online album with the least amount of effort possible. This could be either an iPhone app or a program for my Windows Vista computer, whatever gets me an album that is continuously updated as I shoot photos. I am using mostly Facebook albums, Google photos/Picasa, and a Blogspot/Blogger blog, but I can and will use whatever service that works with this desired app of mine.
(by "continuously," I don't mean exactly live, but rather an app that does this synchronization or uploading whenever I open up the app or whenever I have wi-fi, or whenever I sync with my computer, or anything at all that doesn't require too much effort on my part. I just don't want to have to manually copy and paste photos from my iPhone to my computer then upload them individually to my online albums every time I take new photos)
Does anyone know of an app like this?

I don't really upload pics directly myself, but there's a lot of space between automatic upload and individual upload through the computer. I should think you'd be able to get the effort level down to "Open app--select Upload--select a bunch of pics--click OK" without a huge problem.
The Flickr app seems to want you to upload one by one, but here's some other apps to check out--I find this site easier to use than iTunes:

Apple have never accepted trade-ins agains the cost of a new device. You will need to sell the one you bought and apply the proceeds to the model you want.

Multi camera project, Online/Offline. Major issues reconnect/re-digitize

Ok gang I got brain bender.
3 camera show, Multi camera project shot Digi-beta. Brought the tapes (3@90min) in low res (dv50) and now I need up-res the files or as apple would call it “online/offline”
According to the book this can be done a few diffrent ways. I have explored these ways and I’m failing...very very badly.
Attempt #1.
- took time line into media manager made the sequence “offline” save the project to new folder in drive with new settings (10-bit). All looks good till you try to recapture at 10-bit. Clip names get changes and numerical extensions apple put on during “make new clip” don’t match. In short I have a show that wont go. FCP wants to digitize everything
Attempt #2
- took time line into media manager made the sequence “offline” Selected the clips batches of clips and then re-digitaized. Again clips don’t match and FCP wants to digitize everything.
This is where I need your help. What can I do to make this process work? Below are my next moves...but before I spend another 18 hours in a bay I want to make sure I get some other input.
Option 1)
Encode all the tapes in 10-bit, Try to reconnect. I would like to stay away from this because the space needed for 10-bit is out of this world and I do have other projects. Again I’m looking for that secret 1,2,3 to making clips only re-digitizing.
Option 2)
try some other method I haven't tried yet. ( this is the one I’m hoping for)

edit those offline low res copies to get my edit decision list
I'm not sure offline editing with AVCHD will be possible because of the folder structure. You may not be able to 'replace' the lower res copies with AVCHD.
My output format is Flash F4V 640x360 px square pixels for Internet playback.
Oh, man. Shooting HD of any flavor is just overkill that adds unnecessary work to the process. Have your client shoot in DV.
