Thank you for answering my question. After taking the screen shot I started thinking "maybe it's one of the add-ons that I downloaded!!!" So I turned off the "Yahoo! Notifier" add-on, and sure enough "poof-it never appeared again"... Thanks for being the guy to get me out of myself and start thinking backwards...(And I really don't need that add-on anyway, just seemed cool that's all)... Thanks again timc...!!!

Hi,on starting firefox which i have used solely as my browser for years i am now getting an error message from java script application that shows my username followed by a message saying; 'username'-Invalid username/password combination.If you keep getting this error,try entering your email address as your username'. I then press the OK button within that error message box and it dissapears and everything seems ok although hover my cursor over the mail(envelope) icon and it says not connected.
I only started having this problem since downloading firefox 4.It also does not tell me where this problem is occuring so i do not know where to log on with this information.I would be most grateful for any help with this matter.Many thanks.Take a look in the Error Console for details about that.

My tabs are NOT restored after I reopen close and open firefox. I have tried the default page - on it I don't have "Restore Previous Session" button. I tried with the history menu - the "Restore Previous Session" option is not even available, like I never had previous session. I have tried to put my settings to always restore the tabs from the previous time- in fact, this option is on "Show my windows and tabs from last time" for a very long time now. Still don't work. I have filled out an iPhoto "postcard" format with a message and photo, etc., and when I hit send, I get the message "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination." I hit OK but it does not clear to refill the log-in -- and I believe the info was correct to start. I'd like to save (and not have to re-crete) the card, but see no way of doing so, thus am fearful of closing it (for good).
in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it

IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

i have now installed too many tabs 1.3.3 to see if that will fix problem.
but yes each and every time i use firefox, not googlechrome, or ie or opera but only firefox 4 and having used tabs mix plus before i never had a problem.
but now with firefox beta and now the full release, the issue is still arising. evrytime i open firefox i close my eyes and wait for it to load... and load... when it does open, i open my eyes and lo and behold my tabs are gone.
thats it please help guys, i love firefox for many reasons i dont want to use opera.

I don't get this music with any other browser, only Firefox. ITunes is off. I don't see any setting in Preferences that would cause this. . Apple Care tells me that it's a Mozilla Firefox problem.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

This problem only occurs the first time I open Firefox after turning on the computer, but it occurs EVERY time I turn on the computer. Every time I turn on the computer and open Firefox, none of my add-ons are seen as updated or installed (although they are all updated and compatible). I need to "find and install updates" then restart Firefox. Once this has been done, I can open and close Firefox with no problems, but it only works fine until the next time I re-boot and I have to go through that all again.

Mac OSX version currently installed?
iMac variant? If you have Mac OS 10.7 or higher, do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu and, in the resulting window, click teh "More Info..." butotn to get this:
What do the first two line sread on your computer? In the image, those lines tell us I have 27-inch Mid 2010 iMac. While there you can also see your current Mac OSX version, the amount of RAM installed, and the processor type and speed, all good thing to append yo any question posted here.
For security reasons, DO NOT post your serial number.
If you have an older version of the Mac OS, post back for extra instructions that will help us identify your model. -
I don't remember the password to get into adobe, despite the hint, so I can't run anything that comes on Facebook. Any suggestions?
There is nothing on Facebook that you would need Adobe Reader for; perhaps you mean Flash Player?
Either way, the username and password required for both of the above is for your computer's Administrator account. -

Often when Firefox is closed and reopened ALL the tabs and tab groups are missising. FIX!!!!
For reasons that are unclear to me I sometimes close Firefox and later re-open it. In some cases ALL the tabs and tab groups are gone. Today it opened in MSN.com and ALL tabs were gone. I put a lot of pages on these and have NO WAY to find them all again. If this continues and you cannot give me a way to recall them I simply will have to go to another browser. It always happens when I need them most and don't have time to even track down one. It completely upsets my day, week, month whatever!!!.
Is there a way to get them back? Someone asked a similar question and was never given a useful answer.I've begun having this problem as well. Reviewing the above, I seen no errors that I' making. A few weeks ago, without being aware of an update to Firefox, it began behaving differently than it has for years. I've always had it set to open to an empty tab, now it often opens to the 'Firefox Home Page' (which I've never used)... this despite resetting my opening page to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" (upon troubleshooting the 'home page issue' I found that the opening page had reset to FF Home somehow. I store a lot of pages in tab groups and having them disappear is a major bummer since they're news articles I'm waiting to copy.
Also... I run CCleaner weekly and I know that will erase the group tabs I've stored so before running it I have to store those URL's another way. Does anyone know what I can uncheck in CCleaner to keep those tabs?

When starting Mozilla Firefox 3.6, I get an error window which opens up additionally overtop my browser windows stating:
"Javascript Application"
followed with :
"Invalid username/password combination. If you continue to get this error, try entering your email address as your username."
Obviously it is happening with one of my email addresses/usernames & password combinations of which I know the username for (which I choose not to post here) and I'm not sure where to begin looking for a resolution to this problem.I was able to resolve this by disabling (under Tools - Add-ons) Yahoo! Mail Notifier
