Invisible PDF saving to server.

Question

When exporting files as PDF's to our Isilon Server the files are saved invisible. This also happens with Acrobat and only when exporting directly to the server.

To Reader Enable the form you need at least one copy of Acrobat Professional 8, from there the forms can be Reader Enabled one at a time or in a batch process.
If you already have the "CGI application" you shouldn't need any more software, as long as this CGI application does what Leonard described. Do you know what language your CGI application is written in and how to pass it the necessary variables (like a filename to save the PDF if that is important to your workflow)?
There really is no step-by-step document describing how to do this as each workflow is unique in it's own way. A very simplistic "send PDF data here and save it in a folder" won't be too hard to setup with mostly freely available tools but it would be best if you read through the documentation available at www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/ to get a better understanding of how all this actually works. If you already have a web space to post the CGI app and store the data your most significant cost is going to be the $500-ish it costs for a copy of Acrobat Professional. Then you still have to decide if you're going to have someone Reader Enable each form individually or script a batch process for it (which is the better option if the forms will be changing or there will be more forms added on a regular basis).
