    i know but my case is complicated :
    Dear All
    i have generate a human task based task flow and i create a page with payload object . i have an empiterator whcih include the following attributes :
    - id
    - name
    - telephone
    - department (Complex object) it include another attributes - dept and dept Name
    my question i want to fill the empiterator by java code and fill all attributes including complex object (department ) from java code (my backing bean). \

  • Invoking BPEL process from Servlet : ejb/collaxa/system/DeliveryBean error

    Hi All,
    My requirement is as below:
    Servlet will receive the delimited HTTP request and convert it into XML. The xml payload will be used to invoke the BPEL Process deployed on Weblogic 10.3 (SOA-INFRA) using Idelivery Class Method.
    The problem I am facing is :
    that while servlet calls the BPEL process it gives "ejb/collaxa/system/DeliveryBean" not created error. javax.naming.exception. The name "ejb" is reloved but subcontext "collaxa/system/DeliveryBean" not resolved.
    Please let me know whether I am missing any step.
    This is urgent. Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    Please make sure that your bpel connectivity properties are correct.
    This error ll come only if host bpel pm server is not visible to your servlet.
    So please make sure all your parameters are correct.
    example, server IP / host name, port number,
    Properties props = new Properties();
    props.put("orabpel.platform", "ias_10g");
    props.put("java.naming.factory.initial","com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory");
    props.put("java.naming.provider.url","opmn:ormi://server_name/IP_Address:Port_NO:Instance_name/orabpel");
    props.put("java.naming.security.principal", "oc4jadmin");
    props.put("java.naming.security.credentials", "welcome1");
    Locator locator = new Locator("default","welcome1",props);

  • Invoking binding operation from backing bean -- no data displayed in ADF table ?

    Hello experts, I have data control derived from  Web Service proxy client.  In this data control,  I have  multi record list derived from web service call.In my ADF page,  I have bunch of input components with many drop down lists and radio buttons, check boxes etc.
    Finally  I want to transfer user input to   data control.   In my  ADF page,  I  have mapped  the  result set of data conrol to  ADF table.
    When I click submit button,  the   input data from ADF page is passed to data control  operation.   In the bean method,  I am making use of   operationBinding.execute()  and operationBinding.getParamsMap().put().     I see it is fetching data by checking getResult().
    I am invoking partial trigger also on the table.  However, table is not getting populated with the data.
    please help me.     Jdeveloper verion is 11.1.1.6.     I have set "Refresh" attribute to "never"  for  iterator in the bindings tab.    But no luck.  I see that control coming to data control and calling web service and getting the data  and then it comes back to my bean method submit() and I see that getResult() is showing records fetched.   But  why  the table on ADF page is not showing the data ?
    thanks a lot in advance.

    I still not able to get  my table updated with  data.  If  I set   "Refresh"  to  "ifNeeded",  soon after coming out of  submit  method of bean, it again tries to execute the web service call in the  data control  and brings empty result since the search parameters are empty.  I do not know why it goes again to data control method.    So, when I hit submit button,  the bean method calls  operationBidnding.execute() and before this I set the parameters also.    After execute(),  addPartialTarget() gets executed and it comes out of submit.   At this time, it is supposed to go to ADF page.  But I see  that  it tries to execute  method in data control with empty parameters.   This is ridiculous.    It neither works with "never", nor with "ifNeeded".
    I see many forums on this issue but no solution found...all those forums are not answered.  This looks like it is a bug in ADF table not able to refresh from  managed bean !!!!
    thanks

  • How to pass multiple values while invoking bpel process from ADF?

    Hi,
    I want to call a bpel process from my ADF application. The bpel process is having one input parameter. I have created webservice data control by using WSDL url.
    Lets say, I have an Emp multi select table. I drag and drop the data control into Emp table selection facet to create an "Invoke" button.
    I am able to pass single value (lets say Empid) to the bpel process after clicking the "Invoke" button.
    But, my requirement is to pass all the selected values ( as its a multi select table) to the bpel process after clicking the "Invoke" button once.
    How can I achieve this?
    --Abhijit

    Hi,
    if the BPEL method that you access allows you to pass arrays or lists, then you can get a list of selectedRowKeys from the table, which then you use to get the value from the underlying binding or the table. This however requires some Java coding instead of directly invoking the executable on the binding layer
    - you create the BPEL method in the binding layer
    - from a Java managed bean you call ADFBindingContext --> get current instance and access Binding container
    - OperationBinding oper = (OperationBinding ) bindings.get("method to invoke");
    oper.gerParamsMap().put("the BPel argument name", value);
    oper.execute();
    - To access the table selected rows
    RowKeySet rks = _table.getSelectedRowKeys();
      //iterate over the set of selected row keys and delete
      //each of the found rows
      Iterator selectedRowIterator = rks.iterator();
      while (selectedRowIterator.hasNext()){
        //get the first key
        Object key = selectedRowIterator.next();
        //make the row current
        _table.setRowKey(key);
        //the row is an instance of the ADF node binding class
        JUCtrlHierNodeBinding rowWrapper = null;
        rowWrapper = (JUCtrlHierNodeBinding) _table.getRowData();
        //get the actual oracle.jbo.Row object
        Row row = rowWrapper.getRow();
        ... get attribute values by calling row.getAttribute("name"); assuming you used ADF BC to build the tableFrank

  • Invoke secured WS from BPEL

    Hello,
    My problem is:
    I have deployed a composite application where the interface is Web Service with Policy wss_username_token_service_policy. I want to invoke that web service from another composite application through BPEL. In other words invoke secured web service from BPEL.
    I've created Partner Link and added:
    <property name="wsseHeaders">propagate</property>
    <property name="wsseUsername">weblogic1</property>
    <property name="wssePassword">welcome1</property>
    I've read many topics about my problem, even I've done http://soa-howto.blogspot.com/2008/04/invoking-ws-security-compliant-web.html
    but it doesn't work.
    What should I do?
    Here is some code:
    composite.xml
    <reference name="validateIdentifier"
    ui:wsdlLocation="http://maciek:8001/soa-infra/services/default/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService#wsdl.interface(execute_ptt)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService#wsdl.endpoint(validateIdentifierWebService/execute_pt)"
    location="http://maciek:8001/soa-infra/services/default/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService?WSDL">
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.username" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">weblogic1</property>
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.password" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">welcome1</property>
    </binding.ws>
    </reference>
    And here is error from Weblogic EM:

    The service invoked directly through Weblogic 11 EM with WSS username token works correctly. But when it is invoked in BPEL from another Composite - the input for secured service is an output from the first service doesn't work.
    I think something wrong is with properities. I've also added BS username and password.
    Any clues?
    Could you write a SOAP Header for SOAPui?

    I'm trying to invoke the ejb in a servlet by doing the following:
    public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, ....
    Context context = new InitialContext();
    HolaMundoEJB helloWorld =
    (HolaMundoEJB)context.lookup("java:com/env/ejb/HolaMundoEJB");
    String respuesta = helloWorld.sayHello("David");
    When i invoke the servlet I catch a NamingException whose message says something
    like this ....java:com/env/ejb/HolaMundoEJB not found in webLlamaEJB
    I tried different paths for the lookup but nothing....
    Can anyone help me with this topic? Thank you.

    Please try the following code:
    HelloEJBBean.java:
    @Stateless(name="Hello")
    @Remote(value={Hello.class})
    public class HelloEJBBean implements Hello {  ... }
    hello.jsp:
    Context ctx = new InitialContext();
    Hello h = (Hello)ctx.lookup("ejb/Hello");
    web.xml:
    <ejb-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/Hello</ejb-ref-name>
    <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
    <remote>fi.kronodoc.test.model.Hello</remote>
    </ejb-ref>
    i think you should also define jndi mappings for the references in orion-ejb-jar.xml and orion-web.xml but for some reason it seems to be working also without these.

  • Error invoking external WS from pl/sql ( 11i10 Appls DB)

    I stuck when I'm trying to call a WebService from pl/sql. I get error : "...'Element' is an invalid node type. Line 6, position 7...."
    what i did: Wrote a plsql, assembled envelop, body(hardcoded with xml data) etc and used utl_http functions to begin soap request. When i run this plsql, then i get above errror.
    Question: Why did i get this error, especialy when I'm not using Element characters in my code ? Are there any specific java class or pl/sql pkgs that need to be installed in 11i10 DB (9.2.0.5.0) inorder for DB to be compatible in invoking a Webservice (SOAP over http)? If so,what are they and Doesn't these pkgs come when you install 11i10? Are there any preparations/setups that I need to do to DB to invoke WS from plsql?
    Please guide me as this is the first time we are invoking a Webserivce from plsql
    Thanks

    Thank you very much, Tugdual, for pointing to right documents. I have read thru them and now have an understanding what jar files need to be present.
    Yes, I have looked at WS Doc but it was Version 10g (9.0.4) where there is not much info. The newer version 10g Release 3 (10.1.3) has changed a lot :)
    Just to jott here : The delta files from base 11i10 to jars needed by webservice are (min) 1. soap.jar, 2. dms.jar 3. servlet.jar
    4. jssl-1_1.jar [Only if we are using SSL on both endpoints)
    Thanks

  • Invoking Web Service From PL SQL package

    Below is the sample code to invoke web service from pl/sql package using UTL_HTTP:
    Declare
    http_req UTL_HTTP.req;
    http_resp UTL_HTTP.resp;
    Begin
    http_req :=
    UTL_HTTP.begin_request
    'http://'
    || lv_hosturl
    -- || '.net/soa-infra/services/finance_rt/Payments/paymentsprocess_client_ep',
    --new url
    || '.net/soa-infra/services/finance_rt/PaymentsReq/paymentsprocess_client_ep?WSDL',
    'POST',
    'HTTP/1.1'
    UTL_HTTP.set_header (http_req, 'Content-Type', 'text/xml');
    -- since we are dealing with plain text in XML documents
    UTL_HTTP.set_header (http_req,
    'Content-Length',
    LENGTH (lv_soap_request)
    UTL_HTTP.set_header (http_req, 'SOAPAction', '');
    -- required to specify this is a SOAP communication
    UTL_HTTP.write_text (http_req, lv_soap_request);
    http_resp := UTL_HTTP.get_response (http_req);
    UTL_HTTP.read_text (http_resp, lv_soap_respond);
    UTL_HTTP.end_response (http_resp);
    resp := XMLTYPE.createxml (lv_soap_respond);
    End;

    Hi,
    there are a lot of option to make plsql web services .
    First you can stay with jdev 10.1.3
    Use the xmldb servlets
    use jdev 11g tp4 to create plsql ws and upgrade to jdev 11g production
    And I think in the next release of jdev it will be back , there are more options which disappeared like the adf bc sdo ws or jmx datacontrol etc.
    thanks Edwin

    No you haven't, because
    Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.example.www.Sample_PortType a relevant class can still not be found and Java really is not going to lie to you; this class is not on your application's classpath so it is either missing or put in the wrong place. Note that missing classes can be caused by you forgetting to properly redeploying your application - its usually something silly like that. Figure out what you did wrong and correct your mistake.
    The fact that you have to mention that you "setup the classpath" is questionable; in web applications you don't touch the classpath at all. So what exactly did you do?

    Eventually, I would like to query a documentum DB but I can't get a simple webservice call to work correctly. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

  • How to send a message from Servlet to JSP

    Dear all,
    I have JSP, with JavaScript (AJAX). If the user click on the button, the text will be sent to a Servlet parsed by doGet() and the user get a response to his input, without reloading a page.
    How can I send a message to the users (JSP) from Servlet, if he didn't clicked any button and to other visitor of the page also? Is it possible? I think like a chat, the server sends a message to all users who are subscribed.
    I don't know, what should I get from user, maybe session, that I could send him personal or common messages in his textarea. I should also invoke some JavaScript function to update his page. I have met some chats, you don't do nothing and get messages. It is also without a JavaScript timer, which invokes doGet() method. Asynchronous, only when there is a message.
    Please help me with a problem.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hai ,
    You can send any message through response.sendRedirect();
    here is the coding try it
    import java.io.*;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    public class SimpleCounter extends HttpServlet {
    public void doGet(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse res)
    throws ServletException, IOException {
    res.setContentType("text/plain");
    PrintWriter out = res.getWriter();
    String username="java";
    res.sendRedirect("http://localhost:8080/yourprojectname/jspfile.jsp?username="+username);
    }

  • Unable to invoke a EJB from a BPEL process

    I am unable to invoke a EJB from a BPEL process. Whenever I try to test it from the oracle EM, I get the below exception. I am using WebLogic 10.3.3, SOA suite 11.1.1.3 and JDev 11.1.1.3 .
    This is what I see from the EM....

    Looks like its not able to find the javaInterface mentioned above.
    I have a simple EJB with one business method and a very simple BPEL process.
    @Stateless(name = "GreetingEJB", mappedName = "GreetingEJB-GreetingEJB-GreetingEJB")
    @WebService
    public class GreetingEJBBean implements GreetingEJB {
    public GreetingEJBBean() {
    public String greetUser(String name){
    return ("Hello " + name);
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I haven't tried from a BPEL process, but I have had success (as in Lucas's blogs) of using services and references as EJB Java Interface. This is with EJB java interfaces solely of base types (i.e. String foo(String s)).
    At high level here's what I have noted so far:
    1. Per Lucas's blog, @javaInterface is not being added to the ejb.binding automatically but it's not clear to me when this is and is not required given that interface.java is specified for the reference or service. Would interface.java and @javaInterface ever be different? I've been adding @javaInterface manually anyways since Lucas is a smart guy and I'd rather avoid errors. :-)
    2. Dropping an EJB interface jar in SCA-INF/lib works, but I've had the problem that the JDeveloper SOA Plugin doesn't see those classes until I stop and restart JDeveloper. Until then, I'm confronted with the java->wsdl mapping error. I was sort of primed to figure this one out since I ran into similar issues with SOA SpringBean components.
    3. Dropping EJB interface source in SCA-INF/src is more reliable, because then I can build the project (i.e. create SCA-INF/classes) and the JDeveloper SOA Plugin seems to resolve these brand new classes immediately.
    4. I've tried to invoke an EJB java-interface reference with a slightly complicated java interface (a class parameter with some fields, one of which is an array of another class). The auto-generated WSDL doesn't look exactly right to me (but I'm new to JAXB). Mediator maps to it just fine and the project compiles and deploys normally but fails at runtime. I have not researched in depth. It's not clear to me from the documentation and release notes whether I should expect for it to work, or whether I should expect to have to create my own JAXB mapping. If the latter, I really need a good example!
