InvokeEvent arguments are empty when invoked with ACTION_SEND

I have a Photo Editing App which I'd like to show up in the "Share" menu when users are browsing their Photo Galleries.
This requires registering for the ACTION_SEND intent, once registered the user can select my App from the Gallery, however, when a user pick an image, the InvokeEvent I receive within the App is empty, giving me no reference to the file, or valid url.

The project registers itself to handle images, and log the contents of any InvokeEvent's to the stage.
1. Import project, and install App onto device.
2. Open Android Image gallery, choose a random image, and hit the share icon (http://cl.ly/image/13353b0V2Y2I)
3. Select "AndroidInvokeTest" from the list of applications. Android will switch to the AndroidInvokeTest app.
4. Observe, as the app recieves an InvokeEvent, containing no useful information regarding the selected Image. (http://cl.ly/image/0r2W461l1C0o)

I have a serious problem with Illustrator CC. The layers and colours palettes are empty when I open files. I have had to revert to version CS6 which works fine.

It seems that something is seriously wrong. You may try the following (you may have tried/done some of them already) and see whether it helps (the following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file; 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences):
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Yes. you should keep your media in iTunes, and indeed you should also keep a backup of your library as well. if you have the device set up for manual management then the content would remain on it when deleted from the library, but you would have no way to restore the device if there was a problem.

ITunes thinks tracks are empty when they are not

Hi--
My problem is that when I try to burn imported (original) tracks to disk from iTunes, iTunes says "tracks are empty." iTunes recognizes and plays the tracks; can import them; but seems unable to recognize them when asked to burn to CD.
Any advice??

Yes, they are in a playlist--and they play back. I think the files were SDII or WAVs originally off Pro Tools.

Colors are overlapping when drawing with a tablet...

I apologize for the bad headline.
My problem is easy. When coloring something with my tablet, the colors are overlapping as hell but ONLY when I release the pen and then color again, over it.
The problem with that is, that I cannot go back once the pen is released and get a even~ish color. It is almost like I get the multiply-effect even though neither the layer nor the pen is set to that option.

This picture shows the overlapping. It is way to dark, and it doesn't get this dark when I go back and the pen was not released. Only, when I release the pen and then go back. It doesn't get this dark, at all, in other programs like Paintool Sai and more.

My advice would be to learn a little more about Illustrator. Once you do, the tablet will work more like you're expecting. For instance, I would look up in the Help files or in a book how the brush and pencil tools function. Different settings in different places will spare you the surprise of ever-changing lines as you draw them. You'll probably also want to know how to draw open and closed paths if you hope to fill your drawings with color.
On the other hand, drawing on paper is a treat that you'll not really be able to replicate on computer. Even with a tablet. Doesn't feel the same, doesn't sound the same, doesn't smell the same. Doesn't even look the same.

Public method of javabean not executed when invoked with FBEAN.INVOKE_NUM

i write a trivial javabean with public method named 'somme' that return int value and take no arguments.
i my PL/SQL trigger code, i register an instance of the bean and take a call to the public method 'somme' that return a int value that i display in display item of my form.
the java bean is well registered and i verified that the code in the constructor is well executed. But the call to the public methode dont work.

it's a mistake for me. when i instanciate the javabean from another java classe in jdev, the execution is well and the process exited with code 0.
but when i instanciate it from pl/sql the problem occurs.
i commented all the lines of my code except the line that register the javabean
     FBean.Register_Bean(hBean, 1, 'amar.FbeanExemple');
and i have the same problem even though the code in the constructor is executed.
the error occurs after the code in the concstructor is executed.

IWeb and .Mac images are dark when viewed with PCs--how to fix?

I do my Photo editing in iPhoto on an iMac or an iBook, and the images look fine. Once posted to a .Mac or iWeb page, they still look fine on my Mac monitors, but when viewed on PCs and PC laptops, they are MUCH darker... The sites look terrible. The brightness on the nonMac monitors is turned up already.
Is there something special I should do to get images to appear correctly on nonMac machines?

I didn't follow Barbara advice (OK, I'm slow, but I couldn't quite figure out where the gamma setting was), but I did use Falcon01's suggestion to use the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile.
I then reviewed and re-edited the relevant pictures. In this case, they are pictures of my girlfriend's condo she is trying to rent (mostly slightly off-white walls (aren't they all?) and dark, rich parquet flooring.) First, the pictures were darker, and I could adjust the exposure to much brighter, which helped a great deal. It did, however, introduce lots of color artifacts (pinkish blotchy walls). I drastically reduced the saturation which (good) made the walls look fairly normal, but (bad) made the rich wood flooring look drab and grayish. For this purpose, this will be satifactory--the pictures now at least are bright enough to not look dark and dank, and people can see what the rooms look like.
When I try this on important pictures of people and such, this approach makes me nervous. Most pictures will look awful if I boost expsoure and drain the color out. How do others handle this? Thanks in advance. BTW, here is the revised web site if interested.

Database fileds are not coming when connecting with ado and they are coming when connecting with odbc

Hi , I am using crystal report XI R2 in visual studio 2005 . Backend is sql server 2000. I have made a connection with odbc connectivity and using dsn. I am using a stored procedure as datasource of report. It is working fine all the database fields are available. Now when i try to connect with the ado connection having same stored procedure as datasource of report , I am not getting data fields. I dont know where is the problem in my stored procedure or in report. But when i connect through system dsn using odbc connectivity everything is working fine. A MAP filed dialogue box appears when i try to change the datasource location to ado from odbc.

There is a barely acknowledged issue. For Mac users Apple has released an update to the app, but for iOS users the recommendation is for users to update their ipad to the most recent operating system.
There may be a fix coming for iOS6 users (which seem to be many of those having problems) or there may not be. If your ipad isn't up to date then you can update it and see if that helps, or if you don't want to update then you may want to wait and see if there is either a fix or if it fixes itself.

Tab Groups are empty when loaded from tab group list

I have several tab groups which have been working successfully.
Today whenever I open a tab group the number of tabs is set to zero and all my tabs are lost. In the Tab Group List they show as 7, 19 etc.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Most photos do not email or are empty when dragged to folder

After I edit my photos in iphoto and email them to myself, usually large quantities, (50plus) at one time, only 2 actually emailed. Although my email said that 50 were successfully sent. I do large quantites at a time because I have shops on Etsy that I post them to. When this didn't work, I tried just dragging them directly from iphoto to folder on desktop, again, only two of the 50 were actually there, all the rest said - The file “DSCN8413.JPG” could not be opened because it is empty. How can it be empyt when it is there in iphoto, helppp!!!

iPhoto may have lost the connection between your original photo image files and the edited versions and thumbnails. Try to rebuild your iPhoto Library - see Old Toad's post on how to do it:

Buttons in the Finder toolbar are there, but empty when window is active

When I am viewing a Finder window, and it is the foremost window, the buttons in the toolbar are empty:
When I click on another Finder window and the previously mentioned window goes into the background, I can see them:
Another interesting artifact of this issue is anywhere in menus there should be an arrow indicating a submenu, those arrows do not display. Also, in Preview, for example, the buttons are all empty.
An interesting correlation is that iPhoto also started giving me issues with thumbnails being black around this same time (2 days ago).
I believe the only thing that changed on my system was I installed drupal with homebrew.
Any help is appreciated, as the strangeness (and lack of usability) of these display issues concerns me.

The only way I found to fix this was to boot to the repair partition and reinstall OSX. All my settings and programs were retained.

ICM - CVP single step transfer, peripheral variables are empty

The we do the Single Step Transfer, peripheral variables are empty when the call reachs the CVP. Please help
The call scenario:
1-      Customer dial 181
2-      Call queued on ICM
3-      Agent receive the call
4-      Agent do single step transfer and send the call (with data(PV1..PV10)) to CVP through ICM
5-      CVP play the number received from ICM
Currently, data set in the PV1-PV10 are empty once reach the ICM…
I need the these data to be available to play it to the caller..

If the call goes to an agent do you see the data? Are you using a cti rp to make the transfer or dnp?

Will movies play okay on the ATV2 if they are choppy when they play on the computer?

I would like to buy an ATV2. I do have some dvds that I have already ripped to a computer, but the videos are choppy when played with itunes on that computer. The movies play fine on other computers. Will the ATV have problems pulling video from the computer?

Sounds as though the PC is struggling to decode the movie on the fly - h264 is more intensive to encode/decode than MPEG2 - however the underlying bitrate for AppleTV compatible files is quite low and most computers would be able to stream them even if they struggled to decode them - appleTV does the grunt work of decoding and displaying so the PC is not stressed by just streaming.

Issue: All fields in the Mitigation control request are empty when the raised request is opened in Search Request.
Error message when opening the MC id request in Search Request.
    Error 1 - "Control CONTROL/L/50000XXX does not exist "

However, the approver has all the fields populated when attempting to approve the request.
