Invoking Partner link bpel gives "exception on JaxRpc.....No route to host"

Hi,
I have developed a bpel process on oracle soa suite 10g; which invokes a webservice;
The webservice method is getting invoked properly by SOAP-UI but the bpel process fails to invoke the same method and gives the following error:
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: No route to host: connect
Kindly let me know how did you resolved this issue.
In one of the threads(URL given below); I learned that its because I don't have access to the port from the BPEL server .
If that is the issue then how do I resolve that.
Re: Connection issue: No route to host
Regards,
Anurag

also check for firewalls on the server - a good test would be to an attempt to telnet into webservice hostname and portnumber from the SOA Server.

Shanmu.

  • Set dynamic authentication credentials to Partner link - BPEL 11g PS1

    Hi,
    I am working on BPEL SOA 11g PS1. I need to know how i can dynamically set the Authentication details (Username and password) as well as Timeout while invoking a web service reference.
    I have been successful in setting these values using properties of the partner-link which is static.But actually as per my use-case, i need to read these information dynamically from a repository say Database/DVM and set these value while invoking.
    Regards
    Sesha

    Hi Sridhar
    Below is the composite.xml snippet which works for me as static mapping. I have added "wss_username_token_client_policy" to the reference interface.
    <reference name="getNameService" ui:wsdlLocation="getNameService.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://www.amazon.com/css/mmbi/getNameService/#wsdl.interface(getNameServiceSoapPort)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://www.amazon.com/css/mmbi/getNameService/#wsdl.endpoint(getNameService/getNameServiceSoapPort)"
    location="getNameService.wsdl" soapVersion="1.1">
    *<wsp:PolicyReference URI="oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy"*
    orawsp:category="security" orawsp:status="enable"/>
    <property name="weblogic.wsee.wsat.transaction.flowOption"
    type="xs:string" many="false">WSDLDriven</property>
    *<property name="oracle.webservices.auth.username" type="xs:string"*
    many="false" override="may">username11</property>
    *<property name="oracle.webservices.auth.password" type="xs:string"*
    many="false" override="may">password11</property>
    *<property name="oracle.webservices.httpReadTimeout" type="xs:string"*
    many="false" override="may">30000</property>
    <property name="oracle.soa.ws.outbound.omitWSA" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">true</property>
    </binding.ws>
    </reference>
    Here you can find property value for oracle.webservices.auth.username,oracle.webservices.auth.password & oracle.webservices.httpReadTimeout are static , What i want to make here is to read these from a bpel variable in runtime.
    OR
    Is there any means i can do this same basic authentication in BPEL 11g which would support dynamic credentials.
    Thanks

  • Getting error: (301)Moved Permanently  when invoking partner link

    Hello,
    I've set up and tested a web service that will execute a command on a host. I then built a BPEL process that invokes this web service as a Partner Link. However, I always received the following error when running the BPEL process:
    Invoke_Host (faulted)
    [2005/11/04 14:17:57] "{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}remoteFault" has been thrown. less

    </remoteFault>
    Has anybody seen this error message? Any suggestions for finding out what's going on here?
    Thanks

    This is a standard HTTP error code, I am not sure what it means exactly, but maybe a network specialist can make sense of it.
    http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html
    10.3.2 301 Moved Permanently
    The requested resource has been assigned a new permanent URI and any future references to this resource SHOULD use one of the returned URIs. Clients with link editing capabilities ought to automatically re-link references to the Request-URI to one or more of the new references returned by the server, where possible. This response is cacheable unless indicated otherwise.
    The new permanent URI SHOULD be given by the Location field in the response. Unless the request method was HEAD, the entity of the response SHOULD contain a short hypertext note with a hyperlink to the new URI(s).
    If the 301 status code is received in response to a request other than GET or HEAD, the user agent MUST NOT automatically redirect the request unless it can be confirmed by the user, since this might change the conditions under which the request was issued.
    Note: When automatically redirecting a POST request after
    receiving a 301 status code, some existing HTTP/1.0 user agents
    will erroneously change it into a GET request.

  • Exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error in BPEL process

    Hi,
    One C# web service is running on IIS. I am trying to invoke this web service from BPEL process on the same system in which IIS is running. I have created the partnerlink using generated the WSDL file from IIS. I have changed the 'tempuri.org' to 'localhost' . I am able to compile and deploy the process but during execution it gives following error during invoke of web service
    <messages><input><Invoke_1_ProcessXMLDoc_InputVariable_1><part xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" name="parameters"><ProcessXMLDoc xmlns="http://10.100.34.70/"/>

    Can anybody suggest to resolve this error?
    Thanks

    try removing your "localhost" from the windows hosts file and then do it all over again using your ip or hostname.

  • BPEL interface migration to 11g : EXception while reading partner links.

    Hi All,
    I am migrating 10g BPEL interfaces to 11g using Jdev 11.1.1.4 Jdeveloper.
    After migrating an interface having partnerlink in to 11.1.1.4 Jdev , if I try to open any partner link it causes error: Failed to read the WSDL or Http Connection Error code 407 in the partner links.
    If we try to open Invoke_variables it gives error like which could not work :
    "Exception while reading schema " or "Exception - Could not retrieve message parts ."
    Note : Those partner links are already deployed on server and at the moment of this error if I try to reach these PartnerLinks through browser i am able to reach.
    I had tried following ways to come over it :
    1. changing the URL to a valid IP Address and check if you still has the issues.
    2. Bu using Abstract wsdl's in place of concrete wsdl. Make a local copy of the wsdl file and try to import the wsdl into JDev.
    3. By unchecking the Proxy Server
    JDeveloper -> Tools -> Preferences -> Web Browser and Proxy -> Uncheck "Use HTTP Proxy Server"
    Is there any way to get over this issue?
    any suggestion regarding this will be so helpful !
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nupur

    Hi folks,
    is there any solution for this error ??
    WSDL which we are trying to load is in server in US , so is there any posiblity of this error due to network latency between
    laptop (client m/c running JDEV) and the server (hosting wsdl)?
    Thanks ,

  • Invoking secured service using BPEL partner link -  basic authentication

    HI,
    We are invoking a secured service using partner link. The below property is defined in bpel.xml (basicHeaders property is created on partnerlink)
    <property name="basicHeaders">credentials</property>
    My concern is how the basicusername and basicpassword is sent to the secured webservice?
    is it sent in the calling uri ?
    I don't think it will be sent under soap header..
    Please anyone confirm.
    Thanks

    Hi
    I am having trouble making the BPEL and Systinet to work together. I have Systinet and BPEL installed separately on 2 different servers. I deployed my web services and registered them in UDDI. I created a new BPEL process and added a partner link to refer to one of the web service I have registered in UDDI. When I create the partner link, it is forcing me to give the wsdl and it also gives an error message " There are no partner link types defined in current wsdl. Do you want create that will by default create partner link type for you?". If I say "NO' then deployment fails. If I say "Yes", then it creates a new wsdl file on the local server etc and gives "<Faulthttp://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/>
    <faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
    <faultstring>com.oracle.bpel.client.delivery.ReceiveTimeOutException: Waiting for response has timed out. The conversation id is 75164a0815ea471a:-3be8c246:117cc377894:-537b. Please check the process instance for detail.</faultstring>". Any help is appreciated.

  • Invoke WS from BPEL 'exception on JaxRpc invoke'

    I am trying to call a standard Java web service from a BPEL workflow, and randomly get the following error:
    exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection refused
    The web service in question is deployed on the local machine, and the BPEL partnerLinks point to "localhost". It doesn't appear to matter whether or not the application server(s) are clustered.
    Because it seems to happen randomly, regardless of load, I am thoroughly stumped. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this problem?
    Thanks,
    Dan

    Dan,
    I wonder if you can write a simple Java client and try to call this WS. Do you get this error also? Was the WS deployed to the same application server as the BPEL? Can you try the actual IP address of the server or the hostname rather than localhost? Would that make any difference?

  • Exception on JaxRpc invoking a Siebel web service

    Hi,
    We've created a web service on Siebel 7.8, activated it, and generated a wsdl. I've imported that wsdl into my BPEL project (10.1.3.1), created a PartnerLink from it, but I'm getting an exception when I attempt to query Siebel. If anyone is familiar with this, I'd appreciate any assistance.

    I kinda found out what this error might be, after going through the Siebel Object Manager logs. We re-use a CRM OnDemand session to post all our Web Service Requests. The idle time out for the session, by default is 10mts. So, when I post the request exactly at the 10th minute, when the request is transferred to OM and the session is invalid, the CRM OnDemand server doesn't through a valid soap fault.
    To resolve this issue, we just need to make sure to re-login at 9th minute if there is an idle session available.
    Thanks.

  • Receiving error during partner link invoke

    Hi Guys,
    I am trying to call a partner link using Bpel 10.1.3.3 in a weblogic app server and I am receiving the following error on bpel console:
    <remoteFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension"><part name="summary"><summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: unexpected null</summary>
    Any clue what can be happening ?
    Tks in advance
    Edited by: user11222809 on 17/08/2009 11:21

    Tks for ur reply.
    Is a syncronous process and there is no patch applied in this case.
    We are trying to perform a simple business scenario, is a invoke to a java webservices, no adapter service.

  • Error invoking db partner link

    Hello guys;
    I write a wsdl to write in a database with bpel DBAdapter.
    When I write wsdl location in partner link wizard I have this error:
    Required white space was missing. Context: CatapultDBLog.wsdl
    Thank you
    Andrea

    All value was inserted as null.
    My input variable in bpel console audit has the right values, but they aren't passed to the db adapter.
    I write my .xml and .wsdl of db adapter whithout toplink software and I think to have commit some error, but I don't found where...
    Internal Exception: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("EBILLING"."TAB_BPEL_TEST"."ID_THOR")
    This is the complete error from bpel pm server:

  • Setting encoding/charset when invoking a Partner Link

    Hi,
    I'm having a problem with setting the encodign when calling a partner link from a BPEL-process. Default charset seems to be utf-8, but I need to set the encoding to iso-8859-1. I've tried using the contentType-property under partnerLinkBinding, but with no success. Any ideas?

    I also got a similar error when i tried to use WSIF binding in BPEL. My BPEL process invokes a WSIF webservice and gets the result. The error i got is below,

    Anybody has solution on this? I too getting similar exception when Callingl a web service with soapenc:arrayType from BPEL
    <bindingFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension"><part name="summary"><summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: trailing block elements must have an id attribute</summary>
    </part></bindingFault>
    This is what the documentation says. Any body has steps or examples
    4.13.4 SOAP-Encoded Arrays Not Supported
    Oracle BPEL Process Manager does not support SOAP-encoded arrays (soapenc:arrayType).
    Use the following workarounds:
    · Call a service with soapenc:arrayType from BPEL, but construct the XML message more manually in the BPEL code. This enables you to avoid changing or wrapping the service. However, each time you want to call that service from BPEL, you must take extra steps.

    Check the schema definitions for the responses to make sure they are correct.
    I have found that this 'trailing block elements must have an id attribute' occurs at runtime if an element is defined as maxOccurs="1" yet more than one of these elements are returned in the response.
    Put simply, the WSDL and XSD definitions does not match service implementation. The generated proxy class bases its deserialization logic on the WSDL & XSD and if it comes across more than one element in the response, when it is only expecting one, this exception is thrown.

  • Service Registry's Dynamic Lookup of BPEL Partner Link not working

    Hi,
    Software : SOA 10.1.3.1
    OS : Windows XP, 2000
    I have deployed webservice application (GetMaxOfTwo) which will give me max of 2 values. Registered the WS in OWSM with user authentication. Registered newly generated WSDL in OSR (Oracle Service Registry). A simple BPEL Process will call service as PartnerLink, which is configured as "Enabling Dynamic Lookup of BPEL Partner Link Endpoints". As mentioned in the document made entry in bpel.xml as registryServiceKey property containing the serviceKey value to the partnerLinkBinding section.
    The entire scenario is working fine and changed the servicekey value to wrong value in bpel.xml and redeployed, as expected it was giving me error message saying invalid servicekey.
    Now deployed GetMaxOfTwo in another application server and registered in OWSM. Intentionally stopped the first GetMaxOfTwo application. In the OSR Service changed the binding with new WSDL of OWSM. As BPEL process enabled with dynamic lookup it should execute without any error. But the results in this case was giving error saying the service was down. (Means it is referring to the old GetMaxOfTwo webservice.
    What could be the reason?, something is missing in the configuration?
