IOS 6 app store not working HELP HELP HELP

I REALLY MAD ABOUT THIS IOS 6 I LOVED IT INTIL THIS HAPPINED AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SOME ONE HELP!!!!

I have the SAME ISSUE! That did not happen with the previous iOS version. My phone is an iPhone 4. HELP!!

    I was at my friends house, everything was working fine. I went to my girlfriends house, everything was still working fine. Then once I got home, I got back out my 2010 MacBook Pro 15" to use and some pages on the internet looked a little odd. They were all in HTML format and wouldn't go back (Pages such as Skype and Apple's main page). I thought they were just down or being fixed up, but then I went to update my Mac under the App Store. I clicked the App store and a message popped up saying "App Store cannot verify a secure connection with the App Store." The options were "Cancel" or "Continue". I clicked "Continue" so I could update my Mac, but weird enough, the App Store started flickering (strobing; blinking) as seen in this video by someone with the same problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=De8aQZccRvA
    I do not know what to do or why this is happening, so help would be VERY nice.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
    Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
    When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
    Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

    I have an IPad 2.  Just got ita few months ago.  All was working well untill last night.  My App Store will not work.  It will open but it will not let you search or show apps.  All I get is a white screen.  I have tried resetting, hard boot, nothing works.  I wanted to buy and download an app but now I cannot. Please help anyone?

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    App Store not working

    FYI.  Super annoying that I had to do this, but I factory reset my phone and set it up as a new phone and that solved the problem.  That is a little less of a pain for me since I have all my contacts sync'd with gmail so they all just pop back up when I add that account on my phone.
    App store working like a champ for now.

    I have a 1st Generation iPod touch and I have been using App Store very often to download apps. I do not have my iPod syched to my computer, so I cannot download apps with it. I just use my iPod's app store. Up until the other day, it has been working. I tried to download an app, but it showed no screen shots, and by tapping the price to download it, it did not do anything. It did this on every app I tried. Every time I try to download an app, it doesn't work. Is it because my iPod is so old? What is the problem?

    Try resetting the iPod..
    Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Let us try the following and test after each step:
    1. Reset your phone - there is no data loss - Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    2. IF that does not - restore phone to iTunes -
    3. THEN restore as New - in other words to factory settings - Check to see if App store works before you restore from back up or add any apps
         a. If it does - then go ahead and restore from back up
         b. If it still does not - bring it to an Apple store / authorized repair location

  • OMG, after last AIR update before current ALL my AIR apps will not work, HELP!

    I have 5 or 6 AIR based apps after I did an update last month, none of them will work. I just re-installed and updated AIR again today and re-installed all the apps multiple times and when I go to one it trys to open the last I installed for every app it only opens the last installed. App installions always end with "faled to open app" and in the log I see this "Error: Missing necessary file META-INF/AIR/application.xml" not sure?
    Windows 7 (all lastest updates)
    Latest Air (13.057 I believe?)
    How do I fix this, why did it break?

    I could install and run the AIR application successfully with AIR 4.0, 12.0 and 13.0.
    Looking into the log, it seems that "missing application.xml" and "Application Installer end with exit code 7" issues have been there from 2014-02-09, below is the detailed log seen from http://ge.tt/2IDeU4b1/v/0?c. This issue maybe caused by the application.
    Is there an application.xml under C:\Program Files (x86)\YourApplicationXXX\META-INF\AIR\ ?
    If possible, could a bug against this issue be logged in https://bugbase.adobe.com/, and upload the AIR application which does not work. That would be very helpful to triage and find the root cause for this issue.

    There have been numerous problems with the App Store, iTunes and other Apple related sites. Basically any place that required your Apple ID and Password have been experiencing difficulty today. But it seem this has just recently been corrected.

  • Control center ios 7 music controls not working help

    When I swipe up from the bottom of the screen to use control center I am not able to use the music controls for music or podcasts and music controls do not work on the lock screen either is anybody else having this problem???????

    I also experience this issue. Soft reset of the phone corrects the issue temporarily. However it will reoccur in time. It seems ultimately Apple will need to fix this with an iOS7 update.
    I have noticed several bugs (this being one of many that I am reporting) since upgrading to iOS7 which has been very disappointing. I am a huge Apple advocate and this has not been the experience of "It just works" that I have come to expect from my Apple products. It is because I care so much about the Apple ecosystem that has made my work and play so much more enjoyable that I will take the time to report these in hopes that Apple will take notice and that subsequent updates will address these issues.

    i recently upgraded my machine to the latest OS ... but now i am facing a problem where the laptop just freezes ... the app store does not work... Please could you help me... i need some advice ... I have a MAC BOOK late 2008... i love this machine , do not want to give up on it.

  • Mac App Store not working - first day with new MacBook Pro

    Hi guys,
    I received a new MacBook Pro 13 inch with retina display today and have been working on it this evening but I have a problem: My app store won't open.
    It was fine earlier - I downloaded both textwrangler and notepad - but now, whenever I click on the icon in the dock it bounces for a few seconds before simply showing a blank screen.
    I have uninstalled my downloads from the day in the hope that it would prove to be a fix but nothing has happened. I live in the UK so it's too late for me to ring the store - it's past 10pm here - but I was hoping somebody could help me out!
    Also - My iTunes doesn't work - whenever I try to purchase an album or listen to any music an error message pops up reading 'an unknown error occurred.' I'm not sure if the two problems are linked...
    Any help will be greatly, and gladly, appreciated!

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

    I recently updated to ios 8 and when I open the app store and press on the featured tab, the following message comes up:
    ¨Item not available. The item you´ve requested is not currently available in the Chile Store, but is available in the US Store. Tap Change Store to view this item¨
    This is strange, and has never happened to me before. Again, this was after the update. I live in Chile and have no interest in changing my account to the US Store.
    Please help me out..
