IOS Kalender Push Mitteilungen

Hallo,
habe per Familienfreigabe die Kalender meiner Frau und mir freigegeben. (Nur lesen)
SEit ein paar Tagen bekomme ich bei jedem Eintrag meiner Frau nicht nur die Push Mitteilungen über die Kalender APP Sondern auch eine E-Mail. Kann ich das irgendwo abschalten?

Got the same problem here, but it’s more than just push email. Immediately after applying the 8.0.2 IOS update, push email stopped. Don’t get anything immediately any longer. Emails on my work Exchange account are taking an hour or more to reach me. My office hasn’t touched the Exchange server configuration in months, and there’s been no change in how my Blackberry has been receiving emails on the same account (Blackberry is running that same account on BIS, so same 15 mins or less schedule applies to that device). Wasn’t sure if that was happening with the 8.0 update, but push email is definitely badly broken with 8.0.2.
But the problem is not limited to push. All of my POP3 and IMAP4 email is also delayed an hour or more. No settings have changed, I still have my POP3 and IMAP4 accounts set to 15 minute polling. iPhone is not polling. POP3 and IMAP4 are also badly broken.
And there’s one more symptom. Since applying IOS 8.0.2, battery life has dramatically improved. That’s a symptom of a very bad thing. Any time I’m home, I manually turn off carrier data, since I caught Verizon billing me for data usage that should have been passed for free on my home Wi-Fi system. Very often now when I wake up the device with Safari active and try to load a web page, Safari alerts that it needs carrier data and stops. That’s because there’s no Wi-Fi signal (icons confirm). There’s no Wi-Fi because apparently IOS 8.0.2 is turning off Wi-Fi, which shuts down all internet connected apps. Push email can’t work if there’s no data service active. Wow, isn’t that clever.
  But there’s one more bad side-effect this “power save” nonsense will have on cell customer’s accounts. If there’s no Wi-Fi active on this device when you’re within range but the device just woke up, but you haven’t turned off cell carrier data, guess which system will be billing you more for data when you thought your home Wi-Fi was taking care of business.

    Hallo,
    mir kommt das ganze so vor als ab es einen Hackerangriff in Verbdingung mit der iOS 7 und iTunes update gibt!?
    Die o. g. Meldung auf dem iPhone macht doch eigentlich keinen Sinn. Es gibt doch diese Funtion gar nicht.
    Wird hier versucht über iTunes zu hacken?
    Einige meiner Apps liesen sich seit dem iOS 7 gar nicht mehr öffnen oder das ganze Telefon war blockiert...
    Ich gab seit der Installation von iOS 7 leider zwei ungewöhnliche Probleme mit meinem Mailkonto:
    - Eine Terminabsage über den Kalender wurde 500mal versendet
    - Eine Mail mit Facebook-Link wurde an mehr als 10 meiner Kontakte automatisch versendet
    Ich habe erst mal meine Kennwörter geändert und iOS 7 neu installiert. Die Meldung hatte ich seit dem noch 1mal...
    Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen oder kann mir helfen!?

    Habe genau das selbe Problem... Dazu kommt noch, dass ich FaceTime UND iMessage nicht aktivieren kann! Es regt mich so auf: Man zahlt Unmengen für die Hardware und Apple hat Monate Zeit für iOS7 und sie bringen es nicht auf die Reihe.
    Sorry, aber Apple bringt's langsam nicht mehr, sie werden immer schlechter!
    Bitte um iOS7.1 und das möglichst schnell oder um eine andere Lösung des Problems. Das schlimme ist ja, dass selbst die Apple-Website noch nicht einmal auf iOS7 abgestimmt ist, alle Anweisungen sind noch für iOS6.
    Apple, reß dich mal wieder am Riemen und streng dich mal wieder an!!!

  • IOS 8 push notifications don't work

    Hi everyone,
    I'm using an iPhone 5s and updated to iOS 8 last Sunday. Since I installed it, I experience a total loss of push notifications from third party apps (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, GMX Mail, wetter.com, Tagesschau and so on). I'm using the phone on Vodafone's German network.
    Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem without a complete reset. I've found some possible solutions by they only apply to iOS 7.

    More than likely a problem with the FB app not fully compatible with the new update.   I would let the app developer know of your problem and see if they can resolve it.

  • Time zone compatability problem with timed event created on iOS and pushed to Windows7 Outlook calendar for sharing

    Hi, I am in Jerusalem time zone. My Windows7 LAPTOP time zone is set to it (UTC+02:00 Jerusalem). My iPhone5 and iPad are both "Set Automatically" (ON)  to Jerusalem. When I create any new event in my outlook on my Laptop it's generated with the Jerusalem time zone and pushed properly via iCloud to my iPhone and iPad. However when I create a new timed event on either my iPhone or iPad. or even in iCloud calendar (in a browser) the event is pushed to outlook on my Laptop in a "Beirut" time zone. Now that both Jerusalem and Beirut are on the same time zone (UTC + 02:00) it doesn't create any problem (though I prefer to see that the pushed events are indeed in Jerusalem time zone and not Beirut...). However, at and around day time saving change days there are problems of events created on iOS devices or even in iCloud (using browser) and pushed to outlook at the wrong times (1 hour earlier or later, depends on the change direction in Jerusalem time...) with a Beirut time stamp.
    How can I resolve this problem and make sure all timed events, created on iOS devices at a Jerusalem time zone, appear as such after pushed via iCloud to my windows7 Outlook calendatr?  Thanks!

    I also have this issue (iPhone 5).  Outlook needs to be configured properly in that timezone option needs to be selected.  Which is challenging enough.
    However the bigger issue for me is that when I open the ICN file:
    1.  I have no way to accept decline etc.
    2.  When the event is populating the calendar in the wrong time I can neither cut and paste nor select and move.  It is totally static.
    So for every meeting request I have to ensure it populates the right time as per my time zone. and if it doesnt i have to manually enter a second meeting 'X' hours earlier/later depending on which time zone the meeting was generated in.
    I spoke to Apple.  Their solution is make sure Outlook is properly configured.  Fine...but good luck.  I need a work around that is Apple based.  Because this *****.
    They said they would send to the development team.  I am not holding my breath.

  • Facebook For iOS App Push Notifications Not Working

    Been seeing a lot of Threads for this problem but with no proper solution.
    Ever since I updated my Facebook App to v9.0, I havent had any push notifications come to my phone. I've tried uninstalling/deleting the app & other connected apps (Paper, FB messenger) , logging out of the iOS integration, Resetting my phone, etc. but nothing's worked. The App doesn't even ask me if I want to Activate Notifications anymore when I Re-Install it.... 
    The Phone Notifications are set to show in the lock screen & all, and the Push Notifications in the app are set to push for "All Notifications", but On the Web client I noticed that I had "Some notifications" listed in the settings (and I can't change those on the web, because it tells you to change them in the app) . The only way I know i have Notifications now is through the App Badge,, via Email or through Paper's Notification setup (But i still dont get all of them) ...
    I wonder if it could be a server issue on Faceobook's End. There has to be some way to fix this problem....Help!!!

    after updating my iphone 4s to ios 7 i have this message when opening any push notification enabled app ( such as facebook, whatsapp): cooect to itunes to use push notifications, i tried to backup my phone, reset setting, and restore again, but i still got the same message
    anybody have a solution for this please?

    don't worry about not having a developer account as mentioned in the article...the developer account was only necessary when it was still in beta mode.

    Everytime i open an app like instagram or snapchat ect. it says "Connect to Itunes to use push notifications"

    I have the same issue.
    When I open random apps I get the message "Connect to itunes to use push notifications".
    I downloaded the new update on my 4s last week. Since the update this message pops up now.
    Does anyone have a solution?

    Is there any way to write a AIR mobile app (Android and iOS)
    and push notyfications  from external source to aplication when the application is  not running?

  • ICloud .me email not pushing to iOS 5 devices

    First off, if this is a repeat post please direct me to the existing conversation.  As I could not find one I wanted to know if anyone is having an issue with iCloud email being pushed to iOS 5 devices?  It seems like the push feature only works when the email app is running in the background and even then it runs very slow.  Does anyone know if this is a glitch within iOS5, a server issue, settings issue, etc? 
    I have already tried deleting the account and re-adding it and various other "fixes" but to no avail.  I remember the horrendous rollout of MobileMe and I have a feeling that this is simply more of the same. 

    This is happening to me too. With my iPad with iOS 4, as soon as I received an email, even if the email app was not open I would get a badge on the app icon showing that I had a new email. With iCloud and iOS 5, push does not seem to be working properly. For example, at night I will receive several emails to my iCloud account. When I look at my iPad in the morning, the Mail icon will not show any new messages. I will actually have to open the mail app, at which point mail will check for mail and then finally show my messages in the inbox (and on the icon badge). This is even though I have push turned on. Definitely seems like bugginess in either iOS 5 or the iCloud servers...

  • OS X Server - Notes Sync - iOS and Mac

    Hi - I'm using OS X Server to sync notes, contacts, calendars and mail. When I add the account to my Mac, the notes application is empty. When the same account is added to an iPhone and an iPad, the notes application displays all of the my notes.
    The iPhone and iPad remain in sync when changes are made, however
    the same account on the Mac will not display any of the notes.
    The mailbox is working properly both in Apple Mail and iOS mail;
    push works properly for Mail and Notes on iOS.
    I've tried activating the same IMAP account on a different user profile on the same and different Macs, same result on all. I'm wondering if the Mac clients are attempting to connect to a different IMAP path.
    What's really weird is this was all working properly last night. I started working on a note from my Mac, after having synced all of my other notes, but then noticed it had never synced over to my iphone. After trying to remove the account from my Mac, all of the notes disappeared. I've removed and re-added the account in iOS and it was able to sync back all of the previous notes.
    Both the iPhone and iPad are running iOS 7; the Macs are all running OS X Mountain Lion (and ML Server).

    Thanks for the suggestion. I played around my settings bfore I saw your reply.
    I solve the issue this way. I had set up my client to connect to my server for mail, contact, calendar and notes by selecting Add another account/Add an OS X server account in the system preferences. Doing this, Notes would take forever to get a check mark. Re-opening the systems preference pane, there would be 2 accounts for my server, on for contacts and calendar, the other one for mail. Again, trying to turn on Notes would fail.
    I deleted the this account (Mail,notes) and took a different path to add my erver mail account.
    I went through Add other account/Add a mil account. Entered my server credentials and mail and notes set up without issues.
    I tried to see if things were syncing between iOS and OS X. It worked both ways without issues.
    I tried changing the setup dor authentification after this was working, and it did not seem to make a difference.

    i have iphone 4 and now ios 7.0.4
    the problem occured first when i was using ios 7.0.3
    i am receiving whatsapp messages only if i open whatsapp. I checked everything and wrote to the whatsapp support. they said to erase everything on the phone and dont use my backup so just install agan the whatsapp. it worked, but i wasnt happy as all my phoos emails files music apps everything gone just becuase of the erase. so i used my backup and now i have everything back but whatsapp still only send me push notification if i open it.
    can you guys help me? it drives me crazy.

    My iOS 6 push notification is not working under proxy running Internet service to make it run what I have to do

    I'm having iCal push issues as well. The push option is available and selected on client machines iCal app. The iCal server and push notifications servers are running as well. I have a test iCal account that is set up on my server's iCal app. It receives push notifications, but not 10.6 remote client machines. Any ideas??
