IOS7 - After taking a photo the lock screen zooms in and I can not enter my password. Does anyone know why?
Everytime I take a photo on my phone either when it is locked or not, when I come back to my phone to use it next the lock screen has zoomed in and I can not enter my password. I have to either switch the phone off or keep playing with the side button. Its only happened since iOS7 has been installed. Can anyone help?
On the Home screen, double-tap with three fingers to exit zoom.
Then go to Settings > General > Accessibility and make sure Zoom is turned Off.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Report any errors it found for Disk Repair, don't need the ones for Permissions Repair.
Try it again & see if anything changed, but have Activity Monitor open & Show All Processes & sorted on CPU%, also have Console open if we can... maybe not when switching, but we'll see.
Does this happen if you just try to create a new admin user??? -

my i phone screen is broken and i can not enter my code but i need to sync my phone from my husbands computer so that i can save all my info before getting a new phone. is there a way i can enter or disable my password code so that i can sync my phone? if not is there any other way to sync my broken phone so that i dont loose everything?

I have an older iMac 5,1 and the disc drive no longer works. I was hoping that I could the Apple USB super drive as a replacement, but the info on the super drive page says compatible with iMac 2012 or later. Does anyone know why it would not work for me?
A reply to similar question (Q & As , in product page Apple Store) says:
"...dissable the internal reader hardware from devices setup. Then plug the external usb superdrive and that's it." Answered by Enrique T from Lima Oct 25 2013.
If you can locate an external Apple USB 'Air" superdrive for earlier model MacBook Air, that should work. The newer one for the Air is the same as for iMac, now.
You may be able to use other brands of external USB optical drive with your older intel-based iMac, as some of them function capably. A few should also be able to see system discs or other bootable utilities on DVD.

You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

My phone is running 6.0.1. I took one photo from the lock screen by sliding up the camera button. It was a little blurry so I tried again and the iphone 4ssaid it couldn't because the phone was out of space.
After shutting the phone off and turning it back, put in the passcode and checked my photos and they were all gone. my usage says I only have 150kb left on the 16gb phone it says zero photos and zero videos. I only have 10 applications and 606 songs. It seems the photos are still on the device as the space is being used but i cant access them. Any idea or suggestions will help. ThanksI i backup from current state would it not backup without the photos. Maybe I should just restore from the last backup posible and this should have all photos until then. But before i restore from backup I wish i could just access the photos. I don't understand in the first place how they all deleted, and secondly why iphone still recognizes the space being used. This is such a glitch, which is very frustrating. i wish someone at apple can give me more insight....

I don't know why the battery life has just become so poor. I can listen to 1 song and lose 1/2% battery life. I had all the settings the same as before updating to ISO6 and now it just goes. I did drop it around the same time but I have a stong case so I don't see how this should effect it. If anyone knows how to fix it would be a great help because I used to love iPod but I am very dissapointed.

Why cant i (still) immediately share a picture after taking one from the lock screen camera?
i put the question here because the ios section is only for specific apps... sorry.
seems a bit maddening that we are given such quick access to take a picture, but then have to open up either the photo app or whatever app we want to share the photo/video with. makes taking a pic .3 seconds quicker kinda frivilous.That is a new one. I haven't seen that before. You might have a hardware problem. Also may want to try to restore the phone and see if that fixes the problem. Also have you restarted the phone by holding the home button and the sleep/wake switch ignoring the swipe to power off message and then powering up the phone again?

I have purchased an audio book from iTunes with my iMac.
Now I wanted to listen to it on my iPhone so I proceeded to transfer the purchase and looked for the book in the purchased section of the store in the iTunes on my iPhone but it did not show up.
Does anyone know why and how I can transfer the audio book purchased on my iPhone so I can listen while away from the desk?

Do you have the right boxes checked to sync the audio book to the iPod?

Note you have to check the boxes in Books pane for the iPod in iTunes to sync books in general and another box to sync Audio Books. -
I installed Lion OS, after restart it gives the startup screen with my user id but no window for password entry, no matter what I do I can't get past the opening screen.

My iPhone 5s (16GB) is stuck with 3948 photos (shown on the iTunes storage bar) on and I can not find a way to delete them all! It's very annoying as it takes up 6.54 GB of space and leaves me no room to add films, music...etc on to it. Please help me!!! I have already tried the numerous articles Apple have sent my way and I am still having no luck.I'd be eternally grateful if anyone could find a solution for me as this has been a problem for almost a year. If they were put there via iTunes sync process, then simply untick the Music box before syncing again.

My photos are not showing up as layers in the layers panel, only as one layer, so I am not able to make changes to the layers. Does anyone know why this is happening? Am I downloading them from my camera wrong? I have watched the video and the photos don't open that way on my layers panel. Any help would be appreciated, I would like to edit out the background and turn it a different color.

Photos from cameras or scans have only one layer (the 'background' layer).
You can start with that 'background' layer and duplicate it or add other layers in the editing process. For instance you can make a selection of a subject and put it on another layer; a common use is to desaturate the 'background' and to keep the color in the selected subject in your newly created layer.
