IPad 2, Numbers - Add row below

I'm creating an invoice sheet that I'd like to add like I do in Numbers in OSX
In Numbers on OSX I just press the ALT-Down Arrow to create a row below the previous product line item.
I'm trying to figure out a way to accomplish this on the ipad 2 using iOS 5 and Numbers
For example, in the image attached, I want to add a productname2 below Product Name Here line.
Thanks

The easiest way is to use the iPad Numbers Form feature.
At the top of the sheet find the "+" tab and tap it. Select new form and base it on the table that you use for the invoice.
If your table is anything like the Invoice Template that came with Numbers, a Form will be created that allows line entry into your table and when you get to the bottom of the invoice list of products will creates a new row. (Use the "+" on the bottom of the form to make new items.
The footer calculations should include the new row's data automatically.
Good luck.

  • Row: can't delete, can't hide, can't add row above, can't add row below

    My row has no options! None on the drop down at far left of row, nor on the Table drop-down menu at top of Numbers.
    What happened to my row? What happened to my table? I'm going nuts...I can't add more rows to my table.
    Anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks in advance.

    Is this a problem with only one row of a multi-row table or with every row of the table? Can you enter data into the table? Are the row numbers and column letters visible or are there x's at the corners of the table (indicating the table is locked)?

  • Using Numbers 3.2, one of my tables does not allow me to add rows.

    This table does not have the "=" or "_|" symbol at the bottom, allowing me to add rows. The menu bar under Table>Add Row Above and Table>Add Row Below are both grayed out.  What can I do to add rows?
    My computer is a MacBook Pro 15", late 2013;  2.6 GHz, 16GB RAM, OSZX 10.9.3

    Hi Patrick,
    On way to experience this is if you have a filter running and some of your rows are hidden. If the is the case, just unclick the filter.

  • Unable to add row in numbers

    Hi
    I have a numbers document which I am unable to add a row.
    The add row function is greyed out.
    I can add columns.
    Any ideas
    Thanks
    bill

    You've probably seen you can add filters in two ways.
    One way is through the dropdown menu by the column letter:
    And the other is via the Filter pane at the right:
    If you had a filter on the table and didn't realize you had it, most likely you applied it inadvertently while exploring the contextual menu in the dropdown by the column letter (the first way described above.)

    Hello
    You would like to import items with batches or items with serials?
    This code is importing items with serials.
    Hereby an expample for each cases
    'bacthes
            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.SetCurrentLine(0)
            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.BatchNumber = "1"
            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.Quantity = 1

            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.SetCurrentLine(1)
            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.BatchNumber = "2"
            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.Quantity = 1
            oDoc.Lines.BatchNumbers.Add()
            ' here you should apply condition: sum of batch qty = oDoc.Lines.Quantity -this completes the selection
            oDoc.Lines.Add()
    'serials
            oDoc.Lines.SerialNumbers.SetCurrentLine(0)
            ' Use the correct line for selection of serial numbers:
            ' I have the settings "None" -> Systemserialnumber will be used
            ' query: SELECT T0.[SriUniqFld] FROM OADM T0

  • Can't add rows to existing spreadsheet Numbers OS X Yosemite

    I created a numbers spreadsheet with column filters and also popup menus for some columns I am trying to add additional rows to the spreadsheet I followed instructions from numbers:
    Add or delete a row or column at the edge of the table: Click at the bottom or at the top of the table. (Drag the control to add or delete more than one row or column.) You can delete a row or column only if all of its cells are empty.
    Insert or delete a row or column within the table: Click the table, move the pointer over a numbered or a lettered bar, click the arrow, then choose a command from the menu that appears.
    but the options to add rows are shaded gray so you can't add rows but can add columns. the II for add columns is active but there is a double circle where the = should be at the top of the table.
    I am a 20 year windows and excel user but am new to Apple and numbers

    Just guessing, but have you turned off the filters before trying to add rows? You can uncheck the box shown here:
    After clicking the table, you can find this in the Filter panel at the right after choosing Sort & Filter from the toolbar.

    Before this I use Return Components on Receipts from Production as I am mistakenly issued it more than what was needed.
    Were anyone be able to explain why it worked for certain items  and not for others? I have successfully done  “return components with some batches"

    Hi Nagarajan,
    I'm one of colleague of caterine, we only accessing the batch management-complete window, no other window is open, still the error occurs; see image below
    Before that error occurs(in image); first error we encounter was batch number is already exist, then upon click add another person modified the window; but we tried to restore the db then try to add the batch number in different transaction like SI 1658(Goods Issue), and it is okay.. but on the SI 50003 which is Receipt from production we can't add it.
    Hope you can help us.

  • Add Row in Advanced table

    Hi,
    I need to create a row while click on the button Add Another in a table.
    Can any body help on this.
    Regards,
    Eswar

    Hi Eswar,
    You can achieve this through declarative approach or else through coding.
    Here are two ways i am suggesting. you can use any of them.
    For creating a new row in advancedTable you have two options.
    First is to right click on advancedTable-->New-->footer
    Now right click on tableFooter1-->New-->addTableRow
    Set the following properties for addTableRow1
    Add Rows Label : Add Row
    Rows to Add : 1
    Insert rows automatically : True
    Second option is you create a submit button and in pfr method of controller use below code.
    public void processFormRequest(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
    super.processFormRequest(pageContext, webBean);
    if(pageContext.getParameter("ID of Add Row Submit Button") != null)
    OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    OAViewObject vo = (OAViewObject)am.findViewObject("VO Instance Name");
    if(vo != null)
    vo.last();
    vo.next();
    Row row = vo.createRow();
    vo.insertRow(row);
    row.setNewRowState((byte)-1);

  • Add row not working if more than 5 records are displayed on the screen

    Hello all,
    Does anyone know why the add row button on an sql updateable report would stop inserting a blank row for data entry when more than 5 records have been entered into the form? I can insert up to 5 records. After that, a blank row is no longer supplied by the button. Odd. Have any ideas?
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!
    Michelle

    You're welcome, Michelle!
    The "Maximum Row Count" setting determines the maximum number of rows Apex will, or could, retrieve for a report. In your original settings, this was only 15, so matched the numbers of rows on a page - therefore, you would (A) only have one page of records and (B) never see a "New Row" as that would be record number 16 (or something higher than 15), which Apex would ignore!
    One thing to note, though, is that some of the pagination schemes (the ones with a "Z" in the description) will count the full number of records available every time the report is loaded - for small tables, this is not an issue but for large tables, you may want to use one of the other schemes.

  • Single Master, multiple details add-rows problem

    Hi, hope to get a replay at least this time (last threads have gone unreplied :-( )
    We've built a master-multiple details table. Everything in visualization has worked OK until we've got the need to add rows to each
    detail table separately (i.e. for same master row, one could add N rows to one detail and M rows to the other).
    Keeping the standard "addRows" table buttons doesn't work because the same addRows event is fired for both the subtables, so
    adding a row in one just adds a row also to the other, until a dedlock situation is reached.
    So we tried to set a different button so we could intercept the originator table (SOURCE_PARAM) in the processForm but here we're facing
    some big problems.
    First at all, the methods and names are correct: we've tried to use the same code (cut and paste) for the table putting the inner table "outside"
    and buttons are working as expected.
    But when the detail table is put back "within" the master, what happens is that the AM method called by pFR in the Controller is executed, so
    we reach the end of the processFormRequest, but at this time something happens and we get the exception error message reported more below.
    I've read that via the VL it is not the original detail VO instance which is showed, so wonder if the error has something to do with that...
    So to summarize:
    1) all the objects exist and are ok, and the VL is defined OK; and indeed the standard AddRows management works (as said, the problem
    is that we need to differentiate two different details...)
    2) the methods are OK as they work as soon as the details are put outside the master table.
    Any suggestion ? Do we need to refer to a specific details VO instance ???
    Thanks in advance. Rgds.

  • Listing out numbers in rows

    Hi people, i would like to list our numbers 1 to 100, 10 numbers per row. If a number has a 7 in it, it will show 2 asterisks. How could i go about doing it??? Sorry as i'm new to Java. I'd tried but only manged to get all the numbers appearing in 1 column. Thanks.
    public class SevenUp
         static boolean SevenUp(int num)
              if(num==100)
              return false;
              else
                   if(num>9)
                        if (num/10==7)
                        return true;
                        else if(num%10==7)
                        return true;
                        else
                        return false;
                   else
                        if(num==7)
                        return true;
                        else
                        return false;
        public static void main(String[]args)
              int num=1;
              for(int row=0; row<=10; row++)
                   for(int i=1; i<=10; i++)
                        num=i+(row*9);
                         if(SevenUp(num)==true)

                         else
                              System.out.println(num+"\t");
    }

    Maybe your game isn't what I think it is, but we always played this as "if the number has a 7, or is divisible by 7, then say, 'Buzz'" [where Buzz would be the equivalent of your "**".  You can always modified your SevenUp to add more rules later.
    By the way, using a method named SevenUp in a class named SevenUp is a terrible idea.  Too confusing!  :)
    Besides, the convention is that methods should have names that start with a lowercase letter (e.g., "sevenUp").

  • Database add row

    Hi all,
    I have a real simple question regarding the database module in LabVIEW.  All I want to do is to find out the max value in column 1, which would be located in the last row of the column, and add another row beneath the last row and have have pervious max + 1 as its value.
    How do you do this with the two approaches below?
    Approach 1.
    1. move the cursor to the last row.
    2. read the last row and get its max
    3. add a new row below the previous last row with new max.
    Approach 2.
    1. Do SQL query to get the max on column 1
    2. add a new row below the previous last row with new max.
    Thanks!
    Yik
    Kudos and Accepted as Solution are welcome!

    That's something you can never really be certain of when it comes to databases, it's also not an issue. In which order the database stores data is completely irrelevant, if you need it in any particular order you use 'Order by'.
    As for the solution, i'd also go for version 2, unless you can change the database to autoincrement, as mentioned.
