IiPad air2 suddenly freezes, the screen goes black but the sound is still on, I have taken it back to factory settings and it was OK then yesterday it froze again, only plugging it into my IMac got it going again. Anyone else got this problem?

So I have had this problem before, and know that you hold down the top Power button and the Home button, at the same time, for roughly 10 seconds, or until the apple logo comes on.
The problem is, when I press the buttons and the screen goes black, like it's supposed to before the logo pops up, the apple logo isn't appearing.
I was wondering if that's because my I pod touch was drained when I plugged it in to charge, and I tried to turn it on when it was still charging?
What can I do?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Before you do anything else, try charging via a wall outlet for a while, since its off. Then try turning it back on.
When you put the device into recovery mode it allows you to restore the device when no other options work. You do risk losing everything currently strored on the ipad itself. Hopefully you've performed regular backups either via itunes, icloud or both. Evern if you have synced content to either of those, you may not lose everything. All previous purchases have been saved in the itunes and app stores, so you can dowload them again.
while the ipad is off, press and hold the home button and plug the usb cord into the ipad. You should see a message pop up on the itunes window on your compoter screen that state it has discoverd an ipad in recovery mode.
You should now be able to restore

I dropped my iphone, it cracked (it alredy had some cracks in it) and the screen is black but sometimes has a background light.. When i plug it in to charge or to the computer it vibrates every 10 seconds and itunes does not recognize it. What can I do?

I dropped my iphone 4 pretty hard, it cracked (although it already had a few cracks in it) and now the screen is black but sometimes has a background light turn on and then off. Holding the home button and off button at the same time do not work. When I plug it in to charge or to the computer it vibrates every 10 seconds and itunes does not seem to recognize it. It gets really really hot when plugged in (which I don't think is normal). icloud does not recognize it under "find my iphone" either. What could the problem be? I am wondering if dropping it dislodged something inside. if so, what did I dislodge and is it possible to fix this myself?

Sounds like that drop was a critical one, my friend. I would make an appointment at your nearest Apple Retail Store, because you're going to need a replacement. Also as a side note: the reason that the charger is making the phone vibrate over and over is because there is a disconnect somewhere in the charge port of the phone, causing it to plug in and out over and over.

I assume that you mean that you do see the Accept and Decline buttons and that they are not working, any time an app does not work as expected, you start with basic troubleshooting steps which would be to close the app and delete and reinstall it. You cannot delete or reinstall the iOS preinstalled apps. So try closing FaceTime completely, and reset/reboot the iPad
In order to close apps in iOS 7 or 8, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that didn't help, this can also cure weird little issues on iOS devices. You can also try resetting all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.

TS1702 I have a iphone 3gs and everytime I go to open facebook it crashes and the screen goes black and them goes to homescreen. Have reinstalled this app loads of time but it seems to be getting worse

I have a phone 3g and everytime I go to open facebook or bejewelled blitz it will not load. It crashes and then the screen goes black for a few seconds before going back to the home screen. I have uninstalled this app and reinstalled it on a few occassions but now it will not even go the facebook homepage. It sometimes also happens with other app.

I tried replacing the screen with no luck. The same thing happened with the new screen. I replaced the backlight coil and the backlight ic and still have the issue. I don't know what else could be the problem. The phone is still under apple warranty but apple won't cover it because Apple is stating that it is "caused by the crack in the screen." But being a repair technician I know that is not the case... Yes, I understand that. But The screen issue is not a result of user damage. The phone was not dropped when the screen got cracked. My daughter was standing in a chair at the table and dropped one of her toys onto the bottom of the phone and cracked it right by the home button. (Nowhere near the LCD/digitizer flex cables, connections, or logic board components) then a few months later my phone had died, I plugged it in, it showed it was charging, then Apple logo disappeared and screen didn't work. AFTER contacting Apple about the issue and them telling me that it "is a result of the very minimal crack to the sheet of glass that has no relation to the LCD or Digitizer and that the warranty does not cover it I had taken it upon myself to change the LCD/digitizer to no avail, as well as backlight ic and backlight coil to no avail. But how do I go about letting Apple know that it is in fact NOT due to the cracked screen nor is it due to the flex cable connections? I can't. So the lady that works the call center phones trying to "convince" me that she knows what she is talking about and "convince" me that it is from the cracked screen I have to take her word because I can't show Apple that its not because of that without paying them $199 to fix the screen in which case they will just send me a new phone rather than fix the faulty hardware under warranty.
