IPad to print Webpage on hp6500a not wireless

I have an IPAD 2, bought a hp6500a (not wireless) so I could print with IPAD, printer is on my home network. Trying to print from IPAD AirPrint, printer not listed. Can print through hpeprint. I don't want to send an email to print... i.e. I want to print a web page because there is a recipe in the page, if. I email this using HP eprint, it turns into a link. Is there a way to print a Webpage or highlighted piece from a Webpage from my IPAD to my HP6500a. Thanks for your help!

That information is on this page (scroll down to the "Additional Information" heading):

  • I can connect my lexmark printer by usb but not wireless

i can connect my lexmark printer s400 series by usb but not wirelessly any thoughts please

I'm having the same issue. On my MBP 15" OS 10.7.3 the Lexmark printer does not connect to WIFI. It works on the USB connection. In wifi however it will work on the Virtual Box Windows 7 partition.
In my logic this means the printer is properly connected to the wifi (green indicator and working with Virtual Box and Windows 7) The MBP is properly connected to the wifi network as Virtual Box works in the Mac's environment. The printer is present in the System Preferences indicating it is Idle and does have a IP address.
When I do send a document to the printer it just sits in the Que and in System Preferences the status goes to Busy. In the Que it also indicates it is busy until it tmes out and indicate that communication with the printer is a problem.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Ipad connects with Airport Express, but not wireless router

I have a airport express that exends my network and is connected by an ethernet cable to the wireless router.  they are on opposite sides of the house from each other.  every other device i own has full bars wifi anywhere in the house.  but the ipad only seems to find the signal from the AE.
If i go in the bedroom with the wireless router, the signal drops to 1 bar.  if i unplug the AE along with all the other electronics for the TV/Receiver at night, the ipad loses the signal and cannot get a signal from the router, standing right next to it.  i have tried reset, hard reset, renew lease forgetting network, and all fails.  any ideas?
I have a Verizon Ultraline series 3 model A90-9100EM15-10 and the firmware is up to date.

You likely have your reason for extending your network in this manner, but it seems that the AE is not really extending your router's network, but creating its own separate network that then extends your internet connection. This can be confusing to devices if you are expecting that they will switch between the two of them automatically.
The iPad can only support one connect at a time. It sounds like you want it to be able to jump from the AE connection to a router connection on a whim when signal strength drops. I am not sure that the iPad's radio is that sophisticated. At best when the iPad looses a signal it could ask if you want to join any other network that it detects, especially if it has connected to that network in the past.
AFA the router, some routers don't like iOS devices and just won't connect. When you go to Settings/Wi-Fi does the iPad see the router's network? If the iPad sees the router network, try configuring a connection by hand.
Tap Other... and write the name of the router's network. Tap Security and select the type of security the router's network employs. Return to the previous pane and enter the password. Tap Join. If you can make the conection the iPad should remember this network in the future. Turn on Ask to Join Networks and hopefully when the iPad looses the AE signal in the future it will then ask you if you want to join the router's network.

  • HP Printer Office Jet Pro 8500 (Not wireless)

I need help for this printer but my brief details about the items I am using in my one  room home office:
1    Dell 8250 (not wireless) bought in 2002.    (2)    Printer HP photosmart 7150 (not wireless).  (3)    D-Link router DI 624. These two items are working with Rogers modem for internet.  I also have external harddrive Maxtor 200GB attached to Dell 8250. All these items are on their own computer desk and working fine althoug the dell is getting too slow these days.
2     Bought laptop HP wireless  -  Next Desktop HP m8226x  wireless (Dec 2007). Both these items are working fine on their own computer desk in same room and getting the internet via D-Link.
3    Now come my  problems as HP printer 8500 bought recently in Dec/2009. I have seen others are complaining on this forum about 8500 go to sleep and remain sleeping until it switched off and switched on to work. It is a big stupid issue for which I have not seen any cure on this forum.
However, before I take this printer back to my store I like somebody who can help me how  to connect networking. I am using net work cable 'cat5e' by connecting one end to D-Link and one end to this printer 8500. I am not getting any response.
I need help step by step (please) on  how to make this printer networking. I did not get this info on this forum or on hp's website nor in their manual.
I still need to connect Fax set up.
I have tried getting help from hp's support but my calls goes to outside USA and Canada. Those prople are good for nothing but wasted my time asking the same questions. This was the reason I gave up using dell compuetrs and went for hp. It seems that I  have also to give hp products and go for my local stores for all my future equipments.
Just for info. I  have used hp printers but this one is beautiful and trouble some.
    Thank You

It is not so simple as you are telling me in a line or two. I was landed in a server of DI-624 (D-Liink router). I don't explain you as there are number of instructions to follow.(I am being an old man don't remember or not able to write down everything). However, I have to give Network Name (SSID) , security type, user name and password. I went back to check my note book when I installed the D-Link and their tech gave me the name and password. But it did not work this time. I think and choose auto passphrase recommended. I did. Saved info on external drive. I got Passphrase keys and Network name. I have done upto this. I am finding it really difficult to perform the steps without step by step instructions from hp. I am not blaming you. You are a nice person. However, hps top guys I'm blaming for all my troubles because I am using their products for a long time. Why they think everybody who are using their products are experts like them? How much it cost them to give step by step instructions in their manual? It is no use I am getting frustrated as they don't care for customers like me. I am expressing my frustration in hope that they are reading complaints in this forum by me and so many others like me.
I must say this printer 8500 (Wireless) is really a good printer but we need simple instructions (step by step) to follow to make Ethernet, Fax, copy, scan, photo etc to be operative and useful.
Please don't get angry with me. You are a kind man. What do I do now? Do you have any solution for me other then returning the printer - which is very easy for me as my store is kind with me as they recognised me as their customer for over 15 years for many  office items buyer. I have also bought their warranty. They don't help me to solve my problems as they are hp's problems. However, they are ready to refund my money on return of the printer.
    Thank You

  • I want to buy an hp m1536 laserjet for my ipad printing, I believe the printer is not wireless but has sprint. Is the print job going through my wireless router and does that router need to support AirPrint.

I want to buy an hp m1536 laserjet for my ipad printing, I believe the printer is not wireless but has sprint. Is the print job going through my wireless router and does that router need to support AirPrint.

The following model is airprint compatible, is this the one you have?
    HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP
If not the "dnf MFP" model, then no.
The router needs to support the Bonjour protocol.  If not, the airprint won't work.

  • How do I print from an iPad 3 Generation to an Officejet 6500 wireless E709n printer

I am a new iPad user and I have a 3rd Generation iPad and want to print to an Officejet 6500 wireless E709n printer but the iPad does not recognize the printer when I try to print or visa-versa.  I am using a Ubee Modem/Router and don't know what to do. What do I have to do or what do I have to download to make the iPad and HP Printer print.

    Hi,
Your printer is not in the list therefore no AirPrint available. Your printer does not support ePrint therefore you can use Home & Biz apps. Have you downloaded apps to your iPad yet ? If yes, please try:
Pressing the iPad home button two times (a list of currently running apps should appear at the bottom of the screen).
Press and hold the HP ePrint Home & Biz app until it starts to move around.
Press the red 'X' on the app to end its process.
    Press the iPad home button.
    Regards.

  • Is there a way to print from pages to a wireless printer that is not AirPrint capable. I have a HP C4580

I have a HP C4580 wireless printer. It is not AirPrint capable. I now do all my work on iPad via pages. I have an HP App HP home and biz, it finds my printer no problems and allows me to print photos with ease. However pages still cannot find a printer. Any thoughts?

I had a related problem, now solved.  But this discussion is relevant to me.  Is there a difference between ePrint and ePrint for Home and Biz?  On my iPad, I installed what I believe is just ePrint  -- got it from Apple Apps or iTunes store -- was free. I am able to print on my HP Photosmart 6180 using that app.  Is there a "better" HP app that should have on my iPad?  And how can I find out just what i have (including the version).  ePrint is not listed with other the apps on my iPad "settings" page.

  • I'm trying to print out a credit card statement from my iPad, it only prints the first page not 4pages, please help

I'm trying to print out a credit card statement from my iPad, it only prints the first page not the 4 pages, please help

I read your first post when I was posing a separate question on the Mac Pro board.  I now see that we may be talking about printing from an iPad with Airprint instead!!!!!  I very much suspect the print command and settings are different for Airprint but I have never used it to be able to offer concrete advice.  I think the setting choices could be different even with Airprint on the laptop and further that you may not even be using Safari but some special app???
I've not heard or seen the term "frame" in the context of printing before except perhaps in the context of a screen shot.  Is the credit card statement a "pop-up" of some kind rather than a webpage or pdf?

  • How do I get my iPad to print to my wireless printer?

How do I get my iPad to print to my wireless printer?

If your printer (which you did not identify in your post) is an AirPrint printer, it should work out of the box as long as everything is set up correctly and working properly.
    AirPrint printers are listed here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
If you don't have an AirPrint printer, you need a third party app. There are several in the App Store that you can check out.
You can also use your computer as a print server in order to print from the iPad with Printopia for Mac, or Print Magic for Windows.

  • How do I enable printing from my ipad 2, it doesn't see my wireless Brother DCP J315W printer. can anybody help?

I need to print from my Brother DCP J315W wireless printer. I don't really understand this Air Print concept and have not heard of it before, is it only on certain printers? This printer is new and I would like to be able to link it up with my IPAD 2
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Ray

AirPrint is only possible on some HP printers at the moment (the models are listed on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356). There are apps that allow you to print to other printers (I havn't got any of them but I've seen apps such as Print n Share and Print Central mentioned), which can print via your pc/mac

  • Samsung CLX-3175 printer (not wireless) compatability with

I have a Samsung CLX-3175 printer (not wireless)Am i right in understanding that if i connect an airport extreme to it, that it will become a wireless printer? any issues i should know about this before buying an air port? thanks all

You might want to check with Samsung support to verify if your model will work at the USB port of the AirPort Extreme.  If it does, then you will be able to print from your computer using the wireless connection.
There is a good chance that the printer will work because it does appear on Apple's list of compatible models:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669#HP
Important Note......If your printer is an All-in-One type device, only the print function will work when the printer is connected to the AriPort Extreme.  Copy, Scan, Maintenance, etc will not be supported.  You will need to connect the All-in-One directly to your computer for those features to be available.
If you are asking about printing from an iPad, even if your printer is supported, you will likely not be able to print from the iPad unless you install an App like Print Central on the iPad.
PrintCentral for iPad on the iTunes App Store

  • Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ?

Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ? iPad only prints 4x6 on full size paper. It's an HP 8600.

I also have this problem printing photos from an iPad to an Epson WF-2540 printer. It prints only 4x6 and without border (so print starts at extreme top left corner of paper). Borderless printing is not selected on printer. Printing a square photo just crops to 4x6 size.

    1. Turn the router, iPad and printer off
    2. Turn on the router and then wait 30 seconds
    3. Turn on printer and then wait 30 seconds
    4. Turn on your iPad and test print.
