Iphone 4.1 Release?

When is the iphone 4.1 firmware going to be released??? I want more than a temporary placebo for the antenna problem and a possible battery fix

The only thing you can do is request repair assistance from the Genius Bar as far as the antenna and battery issues.
If the battery is not recharging, it may have failed in which the replacement i4 would be in mind. If it hasn't failed and the comment is on "the battery is draining faster in iOS 4, 4.0, 4.0.1", it varies on the amount of activity being used. Restoring your iPhone may work, but then again it can be the same and based on your activity. Apple has an article on suggestions to maximize the amount of time such as disabling 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Push, Mail, etc. You can add a wall charger at your place where you set the i4 down to keep it fully charged.
The antennagate issue is not focused on the i4 but on several devices. Apple has released several videos that show including the Droid X suffers this problem as well. The only solution is to add a case or hold your phone by the fingers and avoid the black stripe areas.
There is no telling if the 4.1 patch will alleviate both symptoms or it will get worse or continue despite the patching. Several commented the next patch makes things even worse. A handful of people go on with no issues at all or hold their devices properly by the fingers or anywhere avoiding the black stripes.
The general patch time is the quarterly ending to give you some base of clue. You can go on Wikipedia and type in Apple iOS version history and write down the frequent month patches. It has been the same each year and not changed. September/October, December/January, etc.
