Iphone 4s, 6.0.1, if my phone completely runs out of battery, I connect to charge, charging symbol appears under battery but then turns off after 3-5 secs, possible fix or known issue?

Do not let the battery run completely dead, this is not good for lithium ion batteries.

I understand what you are trying to say, but the device is not fully operational, or you wouldn't be here. Does the device go to logo, then turn off, then go to logo again? If not, then you need to first try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If that does not help, then restore from backup. If the restore from backup is not successful, then restore as new, not from a backup. If the restore from new is not successful, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store or Authorized Apple Service provider, depending on your location and have the hardware checked. Optimize Your Settings
Depending on how they are set, a few features may decrease your iPhone battery life. The tips below apply to an iPhone running iOS 7.0 or later.
Enable Wi-Fi: Having Wi-Fi enabled helps consume less power when doing activities that access data. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and log in to a Wi-Fi network.
Adjust brightness: Dim the screen or turn on Auto-Brightness to extend battery life. Turning on Auto-Brightness allows the screen to adjust based on lighting conditions.
Fetch new data less frequently: The more frequently email or other data is fetched, the quicker your battery may drain. To fetch data manually: Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Manually.
Turn off push notifications: Apps with Push Notification alert you of new data, which may impact battery life. To disable, go to Settings > Notifications, choose the app you want to disable, and do the following:
Change Alert Style to None.
Turn Badge App Icon off.
Turn Sounds off.
Note: New data will be received when you open the app.
Minimize use of location services: Apps that actively use location services, such as Maps, may reduce battery life. You can see which applications have recently used location services by going to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Use Airplane Mode in low- or no-coverage areas: Your iPhone always tries to maintain a connection with the cellular network, which may use more power in low- or no-coverage areas. Turn on Airplane Mode to increase battery life in these situations.
Viewing Usage Statistics
Knowing and understanding your iPhone usage can help you better manage your battery life. To view your iPhone usage statistics, go to Settings > General > Usage. Under “Time since last full charge”:
Usage: Amount of time iPhone has been awake and in use since the last full charge. iPhone is awake when you’re on a call, using email, listening to music, browsing the web, or sending and receiving text messages, or during certain background tasks such as auto-checking email.
Standby: Amount of time iPhone has been powered on since its last full charge, including the time the phone has been asleep.

You have a big problem. Apple does not do business in Pakistan. So there is no way you can get Apple to fix it unless you take it back to the US. Mailing it back won't work; they will not accept shipments from outside of the country. About your only other option is to take it to a reputable repair shop in Pakistan. And hope you are lucky, because Apple does not sell spare parts, so any repair will not use authentic parts.

My phone keeps running out of battery very quick:
My phone doing that thing with the arrows in the top right hand corner when its about to receive something or send something GRPS.
But nothing comes through.
Ive had no e-mails or facebook notifications come through for well over a week now.
But the problem is, because its doing the arrow thing constantly its running the battery flat in the space of a few hours.
Ive checked my passwords on my e-mails, but its not helped at all!!
Ive turned the data off now, and it has stopped, so its definatly to do with the GPRS.
Anyone got any ideas??

The data arrows will continue even if you suspect no data is transferring because the device and the RIM servers and your carrier tower will continuously poll your device, sorta like a handshake just to make sure it is still there.
You could have some application (like an open active browser page) running in the background, as well.
There are many many reasons that data will transmit on your device even when you think it should not be doing so.

Did you try resetting?
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

Iphone 4s won't charge until it runs out of battery

I've had my iPhone 4S for a month now, and it suddenly will not charge until it completely dies/runs out of battery.
Then, it only charges enough for it to turn on automatically and stops charging.
Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?

If restoring as new doesn't help, there is a hardware failure and you need to take the phone to Apple or whoever provides iPhone warranty service in your country. -
IMessage problem | turns off after phone power off
Each time I power off my phone or it runs out of battery iMessage switches to off setting and asks me to send the activation text message. This leads to extra cost each time I close my phone. The phone also asks me for my itines password each time it is turned on.

The powersaver software is not responsible at all for this behaviour.
The BIOS is good that you checked because this would be the first thing I would recommend.
Next step is however not so funny : service.
That's the only thing to do - the machine should absolutely be able to keep working when you unplug it if the battery has enough capacity.
Software-wise there is nothing you could do since it is not involved in theese pretty low level things.

my Iphone 5s was working perfectly before downloading the IOS 8.0.1 and later IOS 8.0.2. When my Iphone run out of battery, I connected it to Itunes, however the phone never turned on, and kept trying to sync, however got an itunes failure message.

My iphone turned off after I got off the phone today. It was more than half way charged and it went totally black. I plugged it into my wall charger and my computer, but nothing has showed up. It doesn't register on the computer either, the charge symbol doesn't appear, and there is no apple logo to be found. I have no idea what happened! It was totally fine before. I tried charging another ipod with my usb and wall charger to make sure that they were still working, and they weren't the problem. What happened? Is the phone dead for good? I have a 3G if that changes anything. THANKS!
Press and hold both the on/off button and the home button and release them both when the apple logo appears. That will reboot the phone. try that.

i just updated my iphone to the latest update and my phone now has a picture of the connection cable with an arrow pointing to itunes. I plug it in and connect to itunes and nothing happens. HELP.

I downloaded iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 5s 32 GB and now my phone won't connect to the iTunes store, and my iTunes Match is turned off and won't turn back on... I'm trying to log in from Settings > iTunes & App Store... not working... I have reset the phone twice, tried via cell service, and rebooted my wireless router..
